Opening hours are incorrect. I rushed here from the main train station because the café opens at 10:00. Unfortunately, it was still half-closed at 10:20.

A real find! Just one S-Bahn stop from the trade fair. On the surface, it looks like a sports club like dozens of others. But behind that facade lies an excellent restaurant with attentive and friendly service and fantastic cuisine. The pumpkin soup and the Maultaschen (Swabian ravioli) from the monthly menu were outstanding.

Highly recommended without reservation

A truly fantastic evening for four at the Esplanade in Saarbrücken. We booked the Stay & Dine menu, and from the very first moment, everything was perfect. The team was warm, attentive, and yet pleasantly unobtrusive. You can feel the passion they put into their work. We had two different menus at our table (Signature and Italian version), and both were excellent in their own way. Each dish was lovingly composed and perfectly matched in terms of flavor. The wine list is excellently compiled, with something for everyone. The sommelier is there to help you navigate if needed and offers a great alternative with his wine pairings. We opted for bottles and the non-alcoholic wine pairing. Both were excellent and a near-perfect complement to the respective menu. It was an evening that was simply enjoyable and one we will remember for a long time. A fantastic restaurant (and hotel) with an atmosphere that immediately puts you at home. Highly recommended.

We went to Iljan's for dinner again today. And we learned that it was his last day. Unfortunately, he's closing, and we will miss him and his staff, and of course, his delicious food. We wish him and his family all the best for the rest of his life. Best wishes from Papenburg.

Absolutely fabulous. The food was incredibly good, and the hospitality was truly fantastic. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, and the whole team clearly enjoyed each other's company. We were in Bremen for my wife's birthday (a Christmas market surprise) and enjoyed dinner at Casera. We loved it. Because of her birthday, the team made a special dessert for my wife. The pizza was okay, but nothing special. The beer was way too expensive. The service was a disaster; they didn't even ask if it was alright. We waited 15 minutes for the menu, even though it wasn't busy.

The food is delicious, but the service is abysmal. The Vietnamese lady has zero respect – dirty rags lie on the tables, she doesn't say hello, and leaves us sitting for 30 minutes before she even takes our order. And that's even though she clearly has nothing better to do. Absolutely unprofessional.

Everything was simply great, the only thing was, and it might be a one-off, my meat was a little tough. But otherwise, absolutely delicious.

Tastes very good, service is good. Hot sauce is nice and spicy.

The interior is very dark, and the portions are rather small despite the high prices. Unfortunately, the quality of the food wasn't what I expected either. Edit for clarification (reply to owner): my salad dressing was too vinegary (for me). The portion size was such that I simply didn't feel full, even though I had a relatively expensive dish. The meat wasn't tender. However, I would also like to mention that the service was very friendly. Next time, I'll be more forthcoming.

A small but lovely restaurant. My friends' food was delicious, though I would have liked more spice. The antipasti could also have used more garlic and seasoning. The wine list is quite extensive, and the wines are fantastic. We made a reservation well in advance, and it wasn't crowded. The atmosphere is charming. The service could have been a bit more attentive. There is parking directly in front of the restaurant.

This restaurant is simply fantastic! From the first to the last minute, everything was perfect—the food, the service, and the ambiance. You can feel the love that goes into the cooking here. I highly recommend it to everyone!

We ordered about 35 minutes before closing time, unfortunately seems like we received the left overs of the day. The chicken had a strange/old reheated taste, the bowl was supposed to include cheese which was not there and the rice was a bit dry. I remember trying this place right at the beginning and it was great, but seems like things have changed.

Right next to the dike, this place has a perfectly calm and peaceful atmosphere. The staff was always, always friendly. We ordered soup and a fried fish sandwich, both were delicious. Highly recommended!
