Perfect for when you're craving a currywurst or fries in between meals, while being conscious of your diet and calories!
The nutritional values are really great, and around 200 kcal for a can of currywurst is ideal, especially if you're watching your calorie intake.
Complement it with homemade fries from the air fryer for a delicious meal with a good nutritional balance!
We were visiting Hildesheim and didn't want to cook, so we ordered. We saw the flyer. We promptly chose and ordered. Delivery took about half an hour, which was good. But the pizzas... felt like they had no tomato sauce and were burnt. Hardly any flavor. The burgers were a good size, but even though there was a shortage of sauce, they were soggy. All in all, not a good meal. The schnitzels are supposed to be pretty good, though.
We were invited here for breakfast.
And I'm once again absolutely thrilled with everything that goes with it.
The selection is huge, everything is beautifully presented, and super delicious.
I'm absolutely certain I'll have breakfast here many more times...
It's really worth it...
This, is truly what a family business is like.
The name KONG, comes from the owners boxing tag. The owner is a boxer, and his aunt is a waitress here. Just a happy family serving incredible food. We ordered 3 things for two people, a Salad with beef strips, Steak, and a Hamburger. The meat was grilled to perfection and we absolutely loved the marinated flavor. Their menu options are now limited because they are unfortunately closing down and moving which is a shame, but they shared their experience. The owner described the conditions of leasing a building here, €4-5k euros a month. I am seriously hoping they move to a better environment because their food is incredible. A little hard to find, but if you enter through a narrow road with a building by your side, you’re in. Bless this family’s heart.
Great atmosphere,
great food, everything freshly prepared, and the matching drinks were simply fantastic 👍🏻

The food was excellent. I had a falafel plate. Simple, fresh ingredients. The freshly baked, warm bread was especially great. And the pickled vegetables. The menu makes you want to try more dishes. (Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo; I'll add one next time.)
Service was friendly, and overall satisfactory.
It was a bit warm inside. Seating outside would have been great. The slowed-down house version of "In the End" made up for that.
The Cook Box in Stollberg is highly recommended. The quality and portion size are excellent, making it a welcome alternative to the otherwise rather meager or unhealthy options in town. Only the billed prices differed from the printed price (by a small margin of up to €1.00).
