I was very disappointed! The portion was very small, it was more like a children's plate or a senior plate. Otherwise I always got a sufficiently large portion there. When I complained, the staff reacted aggressively.

Very pleasant visit to the restaurant. The fish was excellent and our small children were also well looked after. The fish plates (3 types of fish fillets) are recommended.

My wife and I were looking for a restaurant nearby on the first evening of our vacation. The Schlemmerpfanne absolutely convinced us. The service was very courteous and the food was outstanding, especially considering the price-performance ratio. There was a small vent in the ambience, we were sitting in the annex and it got very warm in there. However, the entertainment options for children should be highlighted positively!

Vegan food - the beetroot pancakes - were delicious. Unfortunately, the fish cakes were too dry, so it wasn't worth packing them anymore. On the card it said that there would be a side dish (price then €11.50?) but the side dish was billed additionally (€4). Unfortunately, I only noticed this later and after checking the menu online. The waiting time to pay really took a long time...

The decoration was nice, the chairs were comfortable. The service was manned by 5 people, but we were ignored for 30 minutes. Despite making yourself noticed for a card. The store was full. The food came quickly, the buffers for my son were good, but unfortunately the fish platter was far too dry for us due to the beer batter. The price of €25 per person was reasonable for the amount. Unfortunately, the empty glasses when eating were also ignored. WE could only pay in CASH. Other tables were allowed to pay by EC! I didn't have enough money and the waitress boldly pocketed a €12 tip. When we said we didn't want to leave a tip, she just said she was deep in conversation.

I'm on vacation here in Döse with my girlfriend. We spontaneously got a table. Super friendly service. The food came to the table very quickly and was extremely tasty. We had 1x Hamburger Panfish with mustard sauce and fried potatoes And 1x fish plate with 3 types of fish fillet with a side dish. They were very large portions. We will definitely eat here again this week. Thank you !!!

The food was just nothing... It was dry and didn't taste like anything, the three different fish didn't differ from each other so you had the feeling you were eating the same thing. The portions are huge and that's the only positive thing about the food. The service was super nice!

Very tasty and the food was served quickly despite the fact that we ordered 10 meals. The owner is also the chef. He entertained the guests quite cheerfully and one or two schnapps were drunk on the house. Anyone who likes fish will definitely not be disappointed. 😉

Wir hatten einen Tisch für acht Personen reserviert. Das hat sehr gut geklappt. Das war das positive. Mit den Getränken hat es schon eine ganze Weile gedauert. Hier kamen schon die ersten Reklamationen. Falsche Getränke, oder einfach vergessen. Das dreistete was ich je in einem Restaurant erlebt ist auch hier passiert. Ein Holsteiner Schnitzel ist mit Bratkartoffeln bestellt worden, geliefert wurden aber Pommes. Nach der Reklamation hat es keine 60 Sekunden gedauert, dann waren auf dem nun ölverschmierten Teller Bratkartoffeln. Die ganze Küche scheint nur aus Friteusen zu bestehen. Hier gibt es nichts selbst gemachtes. Das Personal ist sehr nett, hat aber einige Verständigungsprobleme. Ich kann mir die hohe Fehlerquote sonst nicht erklären. Das Lokal hat eine sehr schlechte Akustik. Es gibt in Cuxhaven bessere Möglichkeiten gut zu essen. Ich würde dieses Restaurant nicht empfehlen.

Visited the Schlemmerpfanne on the last evening of our vacation. We were very satisfied and after a week of vacation with visits to all kinds of restaurants in and around Cuxhaven that were hyped in FB groups, we finally had something on our plate for the money! We did have one complaint that it was not possible to pay by card!

Food only came to the table lukewarm and tasted mediocre. Service was friendly but very slow, even though the restaurant was only moderately busy.

Very generous portions at good prices. The play options for children were also impressive. Unfortunately, the service was erratic and unfocused, the EC device was broken and the atmosphere in the dining room was a bit cool. There is also an inexplicable affinity on the part of the chef for paprika powder, which was found on every dish.

To the gourmet pan in the new home. We were already thrilled when the Schlemmerpfanne was in the old home. After a few years we were there today to repeat the quality check. The new restaurant is larger and beautifully decorated, and when the weather is good there is also the option to eat outside. Regarding the menu, I would like to say that in my opinion there is the largest selection of fish. The staff is as usual, nice, friendly and quick. There was even water for the dog without asking. Today there was fried fish with fried potatoes and tartar sauce for 14.50 euros, as well as a pan fish for 15.50. The portion is large and so tasty. Congratulations to the whole team, we'll be visiting you more often this week! ATTENTION CASH PAYMENT ONLY!

I agree with some of the reviews. Unfortunately, the food is more of a “finished” product and reminds me of frozen schnitzel and vegetables. (The food was ready within a few minutes of ordering)

We (3 girls) had dinner there today. Staff super friendly, atmosphere bright and pleasant. The cook (boss) very nice and funny. The food was very tasty and plentiful! The prices are absolutely appropriate. We will be returning there tomorrow as we simply felt welcome and comfortable. Thanks to the team, keep it up🤗.

This was our second time there, but the first time since moving. We had made a reservation the day before, but our reservation couldn't be found on site. Despite all this, we were allocated a table. The atmosphere is very uninviting and cold. The food was probably frozen goods - unfortunately it didn't meet our expectations at all. Not tasty! The only positive thing about the entire restaurant visit was the staff, who were very stressed but still tried hard. The restaurant is not recommended and we will not visit the restaurant again! We'd rather eat at a snack bar!

We really enjoy eating here. Very tasty fish dishes, homemade tartar sauce, very tasty. This time we were disappointed, the previously delicious fried potatoes were prepared differently. Unfortunately we didn't like the taste and consistency. It's a shame, the fish was very good again.

Bedienung nicht eingearbeitet, wurden 25 Minuten links liegen gelassen, es kam einfach niemand, mussten erst auf uns aufmerksam machen, danach kam unsichere Mitarbeiterin an den Tisch, schreibt Bestellung nicht auf, es kommen falsche Getränke, dann falsche Getränkegröße, eine weitere Bedienung kommt an Tisch fragt an, ob nur ein Gericht bestellt wurde, war natürlich nicht der Fall. In Karte stand Salat mit Brot, diseses kam aber nicht mit an den Tisch, nach Anfrage wurde, die Beilage, verneint, doch es stand definitiv auf Karte. Auch Qualität des Essens war nicht gut, für den halben Preis bekomme ich zuhause in macher Imbissgastronomie, besseres vorgesetzt. Ich denke, da kommen viele Urlauber nur einmal, da kann der Standort mit Kurzreisenden, natürlich, für diesen Betrieb, von Vorteil sein. Wir bekommen bestimmt nicht wieder. Auch 4 Personen des Nachbartisches standen unverrichterter Dinge auf und gingen zum Grichen, gegenüber.

I was very disappointed when my food arrived. It was not exactly what I expected. 3 different bake fry fish with crab 🦀in the menu, but I got 3 very oily bake fry fish that taste all the same with shrimp 🍤. There was no salad that was ordered separately. I am from the island Samoa, and I was craving sea food. It was very disappointing. The service ladies did a great job. I must admit!

Positive: The service is positive... very stressed but nice. Negative: You felt like you were being processed in a block... I assume the boss was sitting in the room as a guest... as soon as new guests arrived he whistled for the waitress... "Have you taken the order yet?... Bring cutlery immediately ... drinks..." What's that supposed to mean?! Definitely nothing special about the food... probably all frozen goods... Guest room smells of grease and is uncomfortable. The last time for us... What a shame

Very bad food: fish plate with fried potatoes arrived at the same time as the beer we also ordered after about 10 minutes. Fish and fried potatoes were too salty and were swimming in fat. I had the impression that the food was ready and kept warm. Despite the poor quality, for which I paid €24.50 with a drink, I wanted to have the fish packed. This didn't happen because the waitress was very inexperienced and clearly overwhelmed. In February 2024 I was thrilled. On a scale of 0-10 I would give Mins 10.

The staff was very nice and friendly, unfortunately not recommended for schnitzel lovers as the breading smells and tastes like fish. We got a meal refunded, but still gave us a €6 tip.

Today we went out to eat fish again (that's just a must up here). We had Neuwerker fish platter. I can recommend any fish here, no matter what side dish or dip (depending on your taste). The service is always friendly and accommodating. The only drawback is the hard rock music from the kitchen is sometimes too loud 😔.

Once again it was super tasty and the service was nice and friendly and the prices were OK. Is still recommended. The very different times at which the kitchen closes are a bit strange. If guests are sent away as early as 7:08 p.m. because the kitchen is already closed when it's open until 8:30 p.m., it's difficult to understand. A nice, popular restaurant. The salad plate mainly consisted of bags of lettuce, the fish fillets were lush and very tasty. The plate with pollack fillet, potatoes and mustard sauce was also lush.

Since we had eaten in a good hotel on another evening and paid a lot of money, we thought it couldn't be that good! The service was in the learning phase - we understand that and still give it 4 stars. The ambience still has potential. Nevertheless, the restaurant is well filled and a reservation is recommended. The price-performance ratio is right. This place seems to specialize in fish. There should be 80% of the map marine animals. The waitresses (two younger men) were really nice and tried hard. Absolutely positive and very pleasant. The food was okay. It wasn't anything outstanding, but you can't expect that for the price. I don't think my schnitzel was breaded myself and came from the deep fryer, which I don't think is a bad thing for 13.50 euros. It was tasty nonetheless. We also enjoyed the fish dishes. The smell in the guest room was a small disappointment. In my opinion, it smelled strongly of fish and/or a deep fryer the whole time. I can recommend this restaurant for a cheap dinner.

There I had the worst schnitzel dish I have ever eaten. Fried potatoes (without bacon, onions or seasoning) some of which were still undercooked. Brokoli too soft, cauliflower too hard and nothing seasoned. The schnitzel itself wasn't seasoned and didn't seem to be cooked through. And to top it off, a fried egg which was wobbly and, you won't believe it, unseasoned. A complete failure for us. Which is very annoying considering the price. To make matters worse, there was not a salt or pepper shaker on the table anywhere in the entire restaurant. So for us, we're sorry. Don't go there again

It's a good thing we made a reservation for two people, it was packed. But that quickly became clear to us when we were able to enjoy the fried fish. We were there for Christmas with the whole family. We have rarely eaten so badly. The duck breast was tough and dry and the rest was unfortunately almost cold. To top it all off, there was a dessert that was carelessly poured into a bowl with spray cream on top.... 🤮 Any love for the food was missing....... Never Ever......

We were allowed to choose a spot in the winter garden, it was cozy and beautiful. The lady who served us was very friendly and accommodating. The portions are HUGE. Each dish can also be ordered as a senior plate. Unfortunately we didn't finish our meal but still got dessert on the house. This restaurant is highly recommended.

The two of us have been to this restaurant twice this week. Both times very good. Were there today with 10 people. 1. The large table had to be moved back 1.50m when we were sitting. 2. A meal was completely forgotten. 3. Multiple orders with drinks have been forgotten. 4. The fish was all one flavor and a dry solid mass. 5. The meat and the squid rings were good. 6. When it came to pay and criticism, the staff complained about me; I should have expressed criticism beforehand. Who makes negative comments to their guests on their 70th birthday? I ate there for the second time 14 days ago. I had fillet plate (fish) with fried potatoes and garlic dip. An intern probably took the order because he was very young and insecure. But unimportant...the fish was good, although there was no salt, I had to order more, the fried potatoes were so-so and the garlic sauce was a cocktail sauce. When I asked the friendly waitress it was the only sauce, but it was homemade... the drinks were very expensive... gourmet pan?? Not for me anymore. The Schlemmerpfanne is a cozy fish restaurant in the heart of Döse. We felt very comfortable. The fish was very tasty and our children were also very happy with their schnitzel. We liked the service. The price-performance ratio is right. Free street parking is available. Clear recommendation.

Portions are quite large. Quality comparable to that of a snack bar. Had a gourmet pan. The meat was just too dry, especially with fillet! I would rather have smaller portions and better quality. When paying, we were charged for a wheat beer that hadn't been ordered. By chance we saw this in time before we left. We then received the money back. Ambiance... cool and simple. Overall just average.

Wir waren das 2. Mal nach 2 Jahren nochmals hier und dachten, probieren wir es nochmal, jeder hat eine zweite Chance verdient. Wir bekamen kurzfristig einen Tisch für 2 , ich bestellte den Neuwerker Fischteller. Er wurde sehr schnell serviert, aber was ich dort sah, ließ mir sofort den Appetit vergehen. Die Fischfilets waren auf einen wilden Haufen gestapelt, Unterschiede waren nicht zu erkennen,die abgefallene Panade irgendwo dazwischen gezwängt. Gewürzt wie beim ersten Mal mit einem undefinierten roten Gewürz und zwar alle!! Filets ohne Unterschied. Ansonsten geschmacksneutral, ohne Salz. Wer Wert auf Quantität legt ,aber nicht auf Qualität oder Aussehen der Teller, der ist hier richtig. Ansonsten sollte man sich ein anderes Restaurant in Cuxhaven suchen. Weiterhin ziehen die Gerüche aus der Küche offenbar nicht die Abluft, sondern in den ungemütlich hellen und lauten Gastraum,sodass man nach 45 min das Gefühl hat,man hätte selbst in der Küche gearbeitet. Der Gastraum hat wie zuvor an dem vorherigen Standort eher einen besseren Imbissbudencharakter.

We got a table for 2 at short notice, I ordered the Neuwerker fish plate. It was served very quickly, but what I saw there immediately made me lose my appetite. The fish fillets were piled in a haphazard heap, the fallen breading wedged somewhere between them. Seasoned like the first time with an undefined red spice, all of them!! Fillets without distinction. Otherwise tasteless, without salt. If you value quantity, but not the quality or appearance of the plates, this is the right place for you. Even at the new location, the ambience is rather cold, loud, bright cold light and the kitchen fumes drift into the dining room, it has the charm of a better snack bar, so that after 45 minutes you smell as if you had been standing in the kitchen yourself. Conclusion: we no longer!

Freunde und ich waren in der Schlemmerpfanne. Das Essen war gut bis Sehr gut.. ich hatte einen Schwedenteller, der war wirklich gut... Das Restaurant ist hell und bietet Platz. Einzig der Geruch nach Gebratenen stört am Anfang etwas... Das soll kein Ausschlusskriterium sein, aber man merkt sofort, wenn man das Restaurant betritt was Angeboten wird. Der Service war sehr gut.

Zweite Rezension am 23.11.2023: Mittlerweile ist der Betrieb umgezogen. Positiv: Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist nach wie vor gut. Das Personal freundlich, flott und fürsorglich. Leider war es das dann auch und wir waren wohl das letzte Mal dort. Warum? Die Küchenabluft geht offenbar nicht raus, sondern ungefiltert in den Gastraum, sodass man im Laufe des Abends brennende Augen bekommt und am Ende alle Klamotten nach Pommesbude/Fisch- und Bratrauch stinken. Einige Gäste öffnen daraufhin (verständlicherweise) die Fenster, was aber nur dazu führt, dass es zusätzlich noch kalt und zugig wird - auf die Luftqualität hat das leider keinen positiven Effekt. Wie das Personal das täglich aushält, ist mir ein Rätsel. Für einen eigentlich gewollten entspannten, ruhigen Restaurantbesuch mit gepflegter Konversation war ebenfalls hinderlich, dass zwei Tische weiter jemand die dortigen Gäste kannte und auf dem Handy laut Partymusikvideos zeigte. Rangmäßig könnte hier das Tischpersonal jedoch nichts tun. Übrigens kann weiterhin nur mit Bargeld zahlen. Weiterhin ein NoGo in 2023. Kartenzahlung ist nicht möglich! Das geht im Jahr 2023 gar nicht. Da muss die Geschäftsführung tätig werden.

Essen war sehr lecker! Der junge Mann im Service noch etwas unsicher aber freundlich und hilfsbereit Ob es jetzt gewollt ist weiß ich nicht! Das Essen kalt, viel zu fettige Bratkartoffel, altes Beilagenbrot, nach Schimmel schmeckende Tomaten, Ofenkartoffel, die den Ofen scheinbar nie gesehen hat….. Das Lokal ist ohne Stil, wie in einer Bahnhofshalle, Geruch nach altem Fett, kann von uns nicht weiterempfohlen werden.

Ein, von der Einrichtung, etwas in dir Jahre gekommenes Fischlokal. Nichtsdestotrotz ist das Service Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet und für die Portionsgrößen schon fast zu preiswert. Eine absolute Empfehlung zum Essen gehen oder außer Haus bestellen.

Superfreundliche und schnelle Bedienung,sehr große Portionen und wirklich lecker zubereitet,volle Weiterempfehlung,gerne wieder,der äussere Eindruck nach mehr oder weniger "Imbissbude" täuscht.Es gibt dort wirklich super Essen.Wir haben es nicht bereut,im Gegenteil,😊👍👍👍😋😋😋😘😘😘

Das Essen war einfach super, die Qualität und Frische haben überzeugt. Das Ambiente ist schlicht aber ok, sehr einfach gehalten. Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Wow. Unglaublich große und leckere Gerichte. Ist das Geld auf jeden Fall wert und es ist kein Wunder, dass der Laden immer voll ist.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Für den Preis bekommt man sehr große Portionen. Sehr zu empfehlen.
