We were there yesterday to celebrate a birthday. The staff were very unfriendly and stressed. The food wasn't very tasty either. It's a shame they tell you to give the leftovers to us, as there was still a lot left over, and the fish was completely missing. Not recommended.

Very friendly service, the food was excellent, whether steak or fish, quality comes at a price. Unfortunately, there's very little choice for vegetarians.

For a sad reason, we gathered as a family in this cozy restaurant on January 14, 2025. Our table was already beautifully set, and the food we ordered was truly delicious, and the service was courteous and attentive. A big thank you goes to Ronny and his wife 🙏

The guest room was very comfortably furnished, the service was very nice and quick! The menu had something for every taste and the prices are appropriate for the offerings. The meals, including a small salad plate in advance, were extremely tasty. We will definitely keep this in mind and recommend this restaurant to friends and acquaintances!

The best Strindberg ever! A dream of perfectly fried steak (1A quality), onions, mustard and egg crust. Likewise, the seasoned meat is exactly the same as it was in GDR times. And finally a restaurant that serves Vita-Cola. The boss also serves himself, is super nice and quick!

The meal was schnitzel with asparagus and fries. We have rarely had such a bad meal. The food wasn't worth the money. The asparagus was fibrous and impossible to cut; it was like chewing on a stalk. The wet asparagus placed on the schnitzel dissolved the breading. For €21.90 an absolute disgrace. I cannot recommend this restaurant. We told the waitress that we didn't like the food. We gave half back. No apology, no discount, on the contrary, a stupid comment from the boss as we left. Schietzel family

There is delicious, home-style cuisine at always fair prices. Always enjoy coming to Vorwerk for a family meal together.

We were here for dinner today on June 24th, 2021 and can only praise the food. Excellent cuisine and very friendly service. Even when the weather is nice, you can enjoy a good glass of wine in the beer garden.

I celebrated my birthday there 4 years ago, and today we had a nice meal there again. The food is simply great and delicious. Worry again

Top bürgerliche Deutsche Küche. Essen und Service einfach auf den Punkt gebracht. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl, da es sehr familiär ist. Nur zu empfehlen.

Sehr gute deutsche Küche mit einem übersichtlichen Angebot bei trotzdem hoher Geschmacksvielfalt. Die Qualität der Speisen ist tadellos. Der Service geht auf die Wünsche der einzelnen Gäste ein und ist auch für einen Spaß zu haben. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert!

Das Restaurant ist super, Personal ist freundlich, sehr großzügig Speisekarte, aber halt die Portion die man auf dem Teller bekommt ist sehr wenig

Wunderschöne Gaststätte mit sehr schönen Biergarten. Die Speisekarte und Preise sind fantastisch. Schmecken tut es wie bei Mutti ☺️. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und trotz vollem Haus hat der Wirt ein schönes Plätzchen für uns gefunden 🙏. Danke dafür! Wir freuen uns sehr mit gut gefüllten Bauch wieder nach Hause zu fahren. Es ist eine Gaststätte mit sehr guter deutschen Küche. Hier gibt's Abo-Essen zu einem sehr fairen Preis. Service ist super und es herrscht eine familäre Atmosphäre.

Super Service, freundlich, zuvorkommend wie es sein sollte. Das Essen Kamm schnell und war Perfekt für Hirschgulasch. Es hat allen Geschmeckt selbst die kleinsten waren zufrieden. Ein großzügigen Vorsalat gab es auch. Die Preise sind völlig in Ordnung.
