Zum Südufer is a perfect choice if you’re looking for a calm atmosphere and good food. We came without high expectations and left very satisfied. Everything was nicely balanced – from the flavors, to the ambiance, to the service.

Please update your opening hours. I wasted an hour driving around with whiny kids because it was closed. Thanks for that.

It's great that this place exists, but unfortunately it's a bit dirty.

Unfortunately, it's just sad! The opening hours are completely random. It declined significantly after the change of ownership about eight years ago. Neither the owner nor his staff put any effort or heart into what was once a beautiful shop. It should be handed over to someone who doesn't just see a quick buck and who loves it and makes something of it again! Sitting around checking the counter isn't going to improve things... It's time for a breath of fresh air down here! The food quality is no longer good. Prices for food and drinks have increased significantly. ... (In 2025, a half-liter of draft beer will cost €4. Boats are run down, and rental prices aren't fair either. €12 for a squeaky pedal boat. The only star it gets is because the only ones there are right near the beach... (...Although the beer at the Aral gas station near the sports and congress hall is also cold and much cheaper...) It used to be much nicer and more well-maintained! It's time for a change of manager or owner. With a little love, work, and craftsmanship, this business can be turned into a true paradise again! Which should happen soon, as long as there's still something there to save...

Rediscovering a Schwerin idyll. As a child, I first went on a long trip on a pedal boat. This time, a cold beer and one of those quaint spots overlooking Lake Lankow were more appealing.

It says it's open, but it's closed.

Good for a small snack and refreshment.

A fantastically beautiful place on Lake Lankower. It's a shame that it looks shabby in places. Glazing and care for the inventory would be good. There is a small snack bar on site with self-service and a good selection of drinks and some food. Boats and pedal boats are available to rent on site. Conclusion: There's always room for improvement, but it's perfect for relaxing and hanging out if you're not too spoiled.

Magical. They really want their service to be good. My German is not good so they had a small mistake in my order but they fixed it quickly and were very happy when I said it was just perfect. This shows how much they care about customer satisfaction. The place is so beautiful, this is a gem that I'm glad I discovered when I walked around the lake for the first time

Very beautiful and wonderful view, it couldn't be better in Schwerin! Great team, all wishes are fulfilled! It's a snack bar and not a luxury restaurant! So enjoy🍦🍨🍟😋🍻🍹

I like the simplicity of the place and the dilapidation, but I find a beer glass with mold on the bottom to be strangely disgusting.

Hier kann man gemütlich sitzen. Das Essen ist klasse und die Bedienungen sind höflich der Chef ist bodenständig. Macht weiter so liebes Team. Es gibt auch einen Bootsverleih: Tretboote und Ruderboote sowie Standup paddeln für kleines Geld.

Herrliche Lage, freundliches Personal und sehr Familienfreundliche Preise. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Der Radweg um den Ostorfer See und Lankower Südufer ist sehr schön ausgebaut und ist immer wieder eine Freude mit unseren Freunden diese Tour zu fahren, aber leider lässt die Gastronomie im Schweriner Speckgürtel sehr zu wünschen übrig. Der Radweg über den Friedhof zum Dwang über die neue Brücke zum Ortsteil Krößnitz ist sehr schön ausgebaut und sauber und hat auch mehrere Schutzhütten und viele Bänke zum ausruhen. Das Lankower Nordufer verottet, wo es doch mal so einen schönen Kiosk gab mit Freifläche zum verweilen und dazu Minogolf. Das waren DDR- Zeiten und so etwas schafft man heute nicht mehr?? Traurig aber wahr. Alles in allem der Radweg ist toll .

Man darf sich vom ersten Eindruck vorne (recht düster) nicht täuschen lassen, hinten raus ist ein schöner Garten zum Sitzen mit Blick auf den See. Gute Preise!

Ich liebe diesen Ort. Das Lokal ist einfach mit Imbiss. Der Inhaber ist nett, das Mobiliar durcheinander gewürfelt und einfach. Aber die Location ist toll. Direkt am See mit sehr viel Ruhe. Man sitzt da und lässt einfach die Seele baumeln alles andere wird egal. Eine kleine Oase.

Klar, etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber dafür sind die Preise echt günstig. Und die Lage ist toll.

Etwas veraltete Bänke und Stühle aber schöner Ausblick auf den Lankower See. Gastronomie einfach, nichts Besonderes, nur Fast Food.

Für einen tollen Nachmittag genau der richtige Ausflugsort, egal ob mit Kindern oder ohne. Boot fahren (wer möchte) und im Anschluss eine leckere Stärkung. Ganz liebes Personal, Essen und Eis sind echt super!

Spontan zum Tretboot fahren vorbei gekommen. Leider war danach keine Zeit fürn kleinen Happen. Wir kommen wieder.

Ein Ort der Ruhe und prima zum Entspannen bei einem leckeren Getränk.
