Zeppelin Restaurant Schwerin in Schwerin

We were back after 10 years. Out of 6 people, 4 were satisfied and 2 were okay. Beef steak so-so. Hamburger schnitzel, bone dry. The worst thing wasn't the food, but the air in the dining room. There was no separation from the kitchen. Hence the fumes in the dining room! After 20 minutes, our eyes were burning. Three people had headaches after about 30 minutes.

The first impression was good. Unfortunately, we were overcharged for two drinks, which we complained about. Then we received a new bill, but no refund because it was simply added to the tip. When we asked for further clarification, the server behaved completely unprofessionally. She complained, made us wait 10 minutes for the change, and then, without a word, slammed it down on the table in pennies.

As always, and absolutely every time, a super friendly team awaits us. The renovation turned out absolutely fantastic. We felt very comfortable. And the food was absolutely fantastic. A favorite restaurant is still a favorite restaurant.

The food was good. The value for money was good. The service was very good. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unfortunately, this restaurant is extremely noisy, which made conversation at the table very difficult.

We had reserved a table for three people...on May 24th! The entrance door was open, and we were greeted by a pungent "grease/oil" stench. The exhaust fan in the ceiling was apparently already on full blast, and combined with the open entrance door, it was very drafty at our table. When we asked if we could move, we were told that all the tables were occupied...the waitress categorically refused to close the entrance door, saying that in a minute or two, you wouldn't be able to see anything anymore because the place would be blue. The noise level was unbearable, making conversation impossible...whenever it did quiet down, some music blared from the speakers. Service was rather poor, as we waited forever for our orders...when the food was cleared, only a few items were taken away...the rest of the dishes were simply left standing. The food was truly excellent! Afterward, we had to shower at home because our clothes, hair, and bodies stank so bad...my phone still stinks! You shouldn't go there in your best clothes, and you should take your time, as it does take a while. Perhaps the ventilation and exhaust air should be cleaned/checked...but the food is worth it!

On our last visit everything was perfectly fine, great food and cocktails. Nice service and we didn't have to wait long for our food.

The schnitzel was really tasty, and the burger was good too. However, it is very loud in the restaurant due to the open kitchen. Otherwise I can recommend the restaurant.

We were there last night with several people and I would almost say it was a disaster. It was supposed to be a nice get together and the staff turned it into a disaster. Really a shame. We probably won't go there again.

Very tasty food, great menu. The popcorn (greetings from the kitchen) wasn't great. The noise level was a bit high, which is partly due to the open kitchen. Super nice service. We'd love to come back.

Delicious food, good all around

The two of us were there today around 3:20 p.m. and wanted to have a relaxed lunch. There was a woman (waitress) standing in the door who immediately refused us entry on the grounds that the place had been packed up to that point and that she had to do a lot of preparation and follow-up work and therefore couldn't look after any guests. Sorry, but it was 3:20 p.m. during opening hours and there was no one in the restaurant. What we experienced there was absolutely absurd! We will never visit this store again!

We spontaneously got a table around lunchtime. The service was nice and the food was well prepared. The schnitzel gets a minimal negative point because it was very thin and the breading was very thick.

When I order the Hamburger Schnitzel here, sometimes with fries, sometimes with fried potatoes, it becomes cozy. Topped with a fried egg, this top is the icing on the cake. Clever is the "master" if he shows up before 1 p.m. and feasts, because otherwise it's packed and everything takes longer to prepare. Robin, who we have already seen and heard live, is often played as background music! Conclusion: simply good. I just can't smell like grease when I enter the store... Everything and a detailed assessment can now be read on the media blog TouchYou.de!

The service was nice and in a good mood, the schnitzel was tender and the fries were crispy. Fresh and fruity salad with a few pomegranate seeds. I can only recommend the chilly cheese schnitzel.

Gestern wollten wir zu zweiten diesem Restaurant zu Mittag essen. Das Restaurant war nicht gerade voll und einige Tische waren nicht für Reservierungen beschildert. Wir baten darum, um uns an eine 2 Mann Tisch am Fenster setzen zu dürfen. Die junge Kellnerin sagte uns , das es nicht möglich ist. Als ich erwidertet, dass Schild keine Reservierung auf dem Tisch gekennzeichnet ist, meinte sie es ist ein NotTisch. UPS Stattdessen bot sie uns Plätze im Eingangsbereich an, was wir ablehnten. Diese Kellnerin bot keine andere Alternative zum Sitzen an, sodass wir das Restaurant verliessen. Wenn ich richtig gelesen habe , werben Sie u.a. mit Zwanglosigkeit. Betrifft es nicht auch die Tischauswahl der Gäste, wenn keine Reservierung vorliegt?! Ein Besuch kommt für uns nicht mehr in Frage.

We were promised a Wiener Schnitzel on the phone, so we made our way to the restaurant. Unfortunately, it turned out on site that this doesn't exist there after all.

The small restaurant is very cozy, an open kitchen and nice staff 😊. What more could you want? We had chili and it was delicious. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely stop here, thanks for the wonderful food ❤️.

Yesterday we had lunch with 10 colleagues in the Zeppelin restaurant and were very positively impressed. Friendly & fast service. We had burgers and schnitzel, everyone was happy and full. Very tasty food and pleasant atmosphere, we would all come back.

This restaurant is located in the center of Schwerin. It is very rustically furnished. The food and drinks on offer are very good and the service is friendly and helpful. We have felt comfortable here many times.

Unfriendliness in the highest form. When we read the menu we were reprimanded at the door, in a tone that wasn't acceptable. We looked for another restaurant.

If you want to get full, this is the right place for you. The food tastes delicious and the portions are really big

Etwas versteckt und kleiner als gedacht. Speisekarte ist ok ,Preise auch. Die Größe der Portinonen sind ok ,es hat uns geschmeckt. Personal war freundlich. Biersorten wurden angeboten die man selten bekommt ,das war prima.

One thing in advance, reservation is best, otherwise you'll make long faces. We didn't have a reservation and sat outside. Here too, the service was noticeably always there and we didn't feel forgotten or anything like that. The atmosphere in the restaurant is really very appealing and the open kitchen is an eye-catcher. The service is always very friendly and the very nice young ladies were really quick and were also open to special requests, even though the restaurant was really full. There are no long waiting times, despite the many guests. The food was really great. Both the size of the portion, as well as the taste and price. The stay was really nice and we booked a table before our next visit. Keep it up.

I haven't been there for a long time and everyone deserves a second chance. A lot has happened. Fresh paint and a little renovation go a long way. Apparently the ventilation system was also taken care of. Very good. The food was good, the fried potatoes were a bit too greasy. But otherwise ok. The service girls were very nice and friendly. I'll probably come back more often now.

The restaurant makes a good impression, despite it being burger day we got a table for two without a reservation. However, the sanitary facilities leave a lot to be desired. Missing soap and towels are a no go.

Top food, top location, top service despite many muggles

Spontaneously visiting Schwerin and looking for a restaurant we ended up at Zeppelin. The friendly waitress told us when we joined that it would take about an hour until the food was ready. We hesitated briefly and decidedly and then took a seat. The starter was the cheddar garlic bread and the main course was the BBQ platter with spare ribs, strips of beef fillet and chicken - everything was really on point and attractively prepared. The beer was also poured into the glass via the pitcher by the attentive waiter as it neared the end. Due to the weather, it was quite crowded inside and therefore noisy, but this definitely didn't detract from the meal. Clear recommendation when visiting Schwerin.

Unfortunately, everyone on the Internet still says that it is an XXL restaurant... which unfortunately doesn't seem to be true. Today we weren't asked what we wanted to eat even after sitting for 1.5 hours... But we got drinks... There were only two other tables occupied. So you can't talk about stress either. When paying for the drinks we asked why we hadn't been asked for food... but unfortunately there was no answer.

We booked a table for two at 8.30pm. We arrived very punctually and pointed out that we had a reserved table; the person who welcomed us treated us very badly and prevented us from being able to sit outside, on the terrace, where there were several customers and free tables. He rudely forced us into a table in the dining room and almost threw the menu at us. Exactly 2 minutes after the menu was delivered, a waitress showed up to take the order. When we asked to wait a few minutes we were told that the kitchen was closing and that it could not wait for us. When we pointed out that on their website it was written that the kitchen closes at 11pm, the same waitress looked at us badly while the one who welcomed us probably offended us with bad words in German. At that point we left without consuming. Terrible staff.

Perfect location, space and tastefully decorated, That's what the guest values So there's nothing that makes me turn up my nose And for this reason I give the stars five.

Nice restaurant to have lunch whilst you are in Schwerin. I love Schnitzel, so I decided to try it. The portions are huge, So bare that in mind, you might want to share with others. They have several types of Schnitzel, I opted for the one topped with mushrooms and roasted potatoes with caramelized onions and bacon, it was delicious. For appetizers, we tried their cheesy bread and mozzarella sticks. Albeit a bit expensive, they were homemade and not frozen. The service was much better than the average German standard and the restaurant has comfortable sitting areas and is clean. I definitely don't regret going there.

Incredibly good. Great service from the first moment to the really good food. Quick to prepare and beautifully presented. There are just good things to report. The only drawback is the lack of accessibility to the toilets. It makes sense to reserve.

Rustic furnishings. Food great. There is something for everyone when it comes to food and drinks. The dishes are highly recommended. Children were also considered. Food at affordable prices. Service friendly and accommodating. However, the level of the toilets still needs to be worked on. It's definitely worth taking a look and trying.

We were there with 9 people who arrived at the restaurant in two groups... no problem as a table was reserved. In contrast to our last visit, the menu has become smaller, which I don't think is a bad thing. Food, as always here, very good. What went a little slow was ordering drinks for the last group to arrive. All in all, a pleasant meal with friendly and attentive service staff.

The red-haired waitress is very unfriendly, waters the flowers even though you're eating there and gets splashed. Rarely have I had such unfriendly service.

A real tip if you want to eat really tasty food in the city center, but it's better to call and reserve in advance otherwise it could be tight. The food is worth every cent and everything is fresh and prepared with love. The staff is really nice and always in a good mood. The restaurant is barrier-free except for the toilets, so you have to take the stairs. It's a shame, but that's perhaps the only small point of criticism, otherwise it gets full marks.❤❤❤👍

Animals and people not welcome, on an empty terrace and an empty zeppelin! We had bad experiences in the Zeppelin 5 years ago, but hey new operator, we've only heard good things so far, let's try our luck... (First of all, we looked at the reservations on the site in advance, everything was free! Great then our decision, Zeppelin!) Yes, light rain but great umbrellas on the terrace that kept most of the rain out, we went into the shop and asked if we could sit outside, a quick, stupid answer, it's not outside... all clear, no problem for us, then we'll come in!  Next question, do you have a reservation? No! Then we have no room...Bammm door closed...Thanks!! By the way, s.h. Attachment, still no reservations after 6:30 p.m Ciao Zeppelin, opportunity lost forever, apparently you don't need it...🤷 Well, that's how the good-humored and super friendly Bolero team received our turnover of €110....❤️

Top restaurant and top food and top service. A nice little restaurant in Schwerin. We were warmly welcomed and had a good meal with 6 people, and it didn't take long. The spare ribs were tender and delicious. The Yenkey schnitzel was delicious 😋 If we are in Schwerin again, we will come back 👍👍👍👍

Unfortunately not so good. Hardly any choice as a vegetarian. And even then there was a little more roasted flavor than desired. And an ingredient was canceled but it was still served.

rude guy working told me they were closed even though closing time is at 11pm and it was only 8:45pm. there were also several tables with no reserved signs. are you just too lazy to take anymore people for the evening OR are you just a conservative german who has something against tourists?

The service is super nice. The food was also very, very good... Points are deducted for the ambience. A level of noise in the place. Abnormally annoying. (No, it wasn't the renovation.) I recommend installing records or something. As I said. The food and staff are great, but when there are 30 people in there it's unbearable.

It's very nice because the food tastes great and I can only recommend it to everyone. The staff very friendly. If we go on holiday to Schwerin again, we would love to come and eat here again.
