Decide spontaneously and get lucky. The food was delicious, it took a while, it wasn't suitable for hungry children, but everything was still good. It was full and therefore rather loud.

Well located restaurant, the ambience is also good. Unfortunately, people will soon be wishing for the service robots that are used in many places. When I ordered a bottle of Apolinaris (it's on the menu) I wasn't offered any other type of water. When the water was brought to me with 3 glasses, the other 2 guests had already ordered their drinks, I was a bit surprised. They poured it for me and when I noticed the strong carbonation, I saw that I was being served Selters Classic. When I consulted the staff, they told me in a very unfriendly tone that the bottle could be taken away again. I said yes, but didn't get an alternative offer. Ok, actually you can't expect anything else from assistants. My luck that it was the first and last visit for me. It's a shame for the guests who continue to be served by such incompetent "forces". Investing in service robots would be worth considering.

After the renovation, I like the store much better than before. Unfortunately, not every service staff is responsible for cashiering and taking orders, which results in longer waiting times. But these are entirely justifiable. The food is quite extensive for a cocktail bar and I particularly liked the tapas plate for two people.

The restaurant is located directly on the Pfaffenteich at the entrance to the city center in Schwerin. It has a Mexican, Spanish and also American menu. Fajitas, quesadillas, burgers, food bowls & salads, steaks and more. Great cocktails invite you to the beautiful terrace in front of it. But the interior design is also very inviting. The service was very quick and friendly and we really liked it!

Centrally located in the pedestrian zone, this is a good place to sit and have a beer. But the pulled pork was mushy and heavy on the stomach.

A really nicely located restaurant, but the staff: terrible. We were there today and wanted something to eat, but were initially ignored. When we sat down on our own, we were very rudely informed that the area was closed. Then we wanted to eat inside and the rudeness from the staff continued, so we decided to leave. Customer-oriented training would be recommended ;)

I would like to give the service 0 stars if I could. As soon as we arrived we were completely ignored, so we just sat down somewhere. We were then just stupidly told that the area was closed. Since everything outside was full, we wanted to sit down inside, but since we were immediately approached in an extremely snippy manner, we decided to go somewhere else. It's a shame because the location is really great!

The food was good and we got it very quickly. The cocktails aren't as tasty anymore. I had one exchanged because it didn't taste good at all and it was one that I always order there. Unfortunately, one of my favorite cocktails (Nougatdream) is no longer on the menu. After the renovation everything looks a little fresher. The service was good. Very friendly service staff at our table.

Was there again for the first time after the renovation. Theoretically, you will still be welcomed at the entrance by your host. But no one was standing, my group was already inside. So I just went through with it. Then the hostess came to meet me and I was immediately asked what I wanted here. That's not how it works. Service overall quite chaotic. At first no one comes, plates are not cleared, then only half without anyone coming back, drinks were okay in time. The food took a long time and it wasn't even remotely full. Yesterday nobody from the old team was seen anymore. The ambience in the guest room is much nicer, unfortunately nothing was done to the toilets. The smell down there is unbearable. They probably should have replaced them at the same time. Things were dismantled and the dowels were left stuck in the wall. The music was loud yesterday, but compared to before, the store was really empty for a Saturday. Why that is so, I have no idea. The beach bar also felt like there was nothing going on. Prices for food have risen massively, like everywhere else. When it came to burgers, for example, E.g. American Fries. Now they go for €4.50 extra and the burger itself has become even more expensive. Mayonnaise costs €0.50, otherwise please eat it dry. But completely fried, frozen goods look and feel. It's a shame... you can't eat anymore. But there are enough alternatives. Buddy had e.g. B. Beef medium rare. That was perfect. A main course (burger with fries and mayo), two jumbo cocktails in the happy hour are now around €45. Although this is still quite cheap compared to other restaurants. Main course around €30 is unfortunately now normal. All in all ok. But unfortunately nothing for five stars. Sorry.

We were a few minutes early and were sent back into the rain with the comment “the table is still occupied” and raised eyebrows. No smile, no apology. Drinks and food come at a very different time. It was full, no question, but there is another way. The nachos were more like nacho porridge than crunchy chips. When we asked, we were just told: That's how they do it here... We know it from various boleros in a completely different way! The fries were completely over salted. Only the cocktails were delicious as always. Unfortunately no recommendation for the Bolero in Schwerin. A pity!

We were there this afternoon at 12 p.m. and sat on the terrace. After waiting for 20 minutes, I went in and asked if there was also service outside, which was answered in the affirmative. After being ignored for another 15 minutes, we left. If the restaurant had been packed, I would have understood it. However, it was dead pants! Maybe it's because of the outstanding, ignorant service that many tables remained empty...

My friend and I went to the Bolero yesterday, Sat, 12:04 a.m. According to the internet, it's open until 1:00 a.m. on Saturdays. There were still a lot of guests present who were being served. At the entrance we were turned away by a gentleman who said we were closing soon. We weren't even asked what we wanted to drink, then we were told that we only wanted to drink two cocktails. Well, you probably don't need that.

Unchanged after the renovation with more expensive prices... unfortunately. The bowls are recommended. The burger pattie was completely cooked through, the bread was sticky and overall it had no added value to a fast food burger. Personally, I think the drinks are too expensive. The service was OK, but nothing more. It can be done, but once again a good example of how a little more competition wouldn't hurt the quality.

Cool, modern location that you wouldn't expect from the outside. Really friendly and very fast servers and delicious food (there is an incredible amount to choose from).

Even though the restaurant was full, the four of us still managed to get a table without a reservation. We were also allowed to take the dog in with us. Not natural for me. Thanks for that. The service was great, the drinks and food were delicious and served quickly. We spent €35 each for two drinks and a main meal + starter. We'd love to come back👍🏻

5/5 stars! The restaurant is located in the middle of Schwerin's old town, with a view of the Pfaffenteich. We sat outside and felt very comfortable. It was very full at late lunchtime but we still got a very nice seat without a reservation. I ordered a refreshing cocktail without alcohol (Virgin Passion Fruit Spritz)… highly recommended!! For the main course, my partner ordered the deluxe burger with truffle sauce and the accompanying chili cheese fries, and I had the quesadilla pulled pork San Luis. Both tasted incredibly good. And the price-performance level is very good. Additionally, the staff was friendly and even though it was busy, we didn't have a long wait. Thanks for the great taste experience. We'll definitely be back to try your delicious alcoholic cocktails.

The atmosphere is rustic Mexican, I would say. The portions are large and the food and drinks are really tasty. The service was super nice and the waiting time was reasonable. We were there around 2 p.m. It's definitely crowded here in the evenings because the quality and ambience are simply great.

It was pretty good, but it's just too expensive for me. You can get better food for less money elsewhere. Because I didn't have pasta with a little chicken breast. If I pay 30 euros for a cocktail and a meal, I just think it's too much. But it tasted good.

The restaurant looks such that owners cared to create a good experience. However, the experienced is ruined by the personnel. A hostess was first absent, then unfriendly and unhappy to seat us. We were waiting for someone to take our order long enough so that we decided to leave and were just about to do it before a waitress appeared. From three of us, one got a cheeseburger with a sweet sauce in it (that wasn't stated on a menu) and one got a stomach pain after this visit. Also, boy's toilet has doors such as boys making their quick business can be seen by girls going to their toilet. Not sure if younger girls are too happy about that.

I went to this bar chain as part of a birthday party. The table had been reserved in advance, otherwise we probably wouldn't have gotten a seat. It looked like it was fully booked. Otherwise delicious cocktails and snacks. I would come back.

Really good cocktails and bar atmosphere. Quite animated place with dancy music but not too overwhelming. You can spontaneously get a table and they serve until late. The hightlight were the drinks, their size is quite generous. The food was good, big portions (with exception of the burguers). The price is a bit high but standard for Northern Germany.

Nice place, central, near the lake. Beautiful environment, a big variety of cocktails and some tex-mex etc. foods. I tried pumpkin soup which was pretty salty, but nice:) Really expensive, but I suppose it's okay for restaurants of Schwerin (60-70 euros for 2 people).

Delicious food with lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Friendly and prompt service, very cozy, almost chilled atmosphere. Always a good option and beyond any doubt

i’m actively vomiting. quesadillas were the worst thing that could happen to me, ever. tasteless, sweet in a very unexpected way, but mostly just oily/fatty. equally disgusting and boring. the smell of it makes me think of a grandma left in a dumpster. it sounds like much fun, but in the end, it’s just sad. service was nice though, waiter was polite, funny…but…don’t judge me, all i can think about is all this fat spreading endlessly until napkins on the plate are greasy on a subatomic level. if it’s past 10pm and you want to buy your wife some nachos when all the good restaurants are closed, go to Späti, at least their nachos have seasoning.

Do not recommend this place, the food was tasteless, strongly below average. The whole eating experience was upsetting, because we spent quite a lot of money on our meal. We were there for the first time on February 28th, 2024, late at lunchtime only one table was occupied besides our table. The service was very friendly, the food tasted very good (pumpkin soup, pasta sicilia and enchilada carne). Only the break between soup and the main meal was a bit long, around 20 minutes, given the few guests. Our first impression was definitely very good, the ambience was okay, there was lively music with the meal. The price-performance ratio was convincing and the portions were very generous. As Schwerin residents, we have found a new place to go for good food.

The restaurant is popular and well attended. The standard is high. But that's about it. Bolero benefits from the lack of good restaurants in Schwerin and long kitchen and opening times. But it is definitely worth a visit.
