Meh. Ordered two different burgers, both without much flavor. Asked for no pickles, but burgers came with pickles. Tap water is not available, but they let me drink from my own reusable bottle and only said this is not allowed at the end as we were paying. And at least you can pay by card without a problem.

At first, everything was quite good. Nothing special, but nice and friendly. The food was also good, not overwhelming, but good. The server was nice too. I paid by card and gave a small tip in cash. In total, I ate and drank for €38.70. Of course, I didn't get a receipt for the card payment (why would I). When I got home, I realized that €40.00 had been debited from my account. It's "only" €1.30, but that's how you make money! That's unacceptable! Since there were four of us, I had witnesses, and you're welcome to do the math (1 nachos, 1 chili con carne, 2 latte macchiatos, and 1 large Coke). I will avoid this place in the future.

We always enjoy coming here. It's a bit of a scene. The food is delicious and really tasty. And there are plenty of dishes for vegetarians and vegans! The variety of drinks is outstanding – including non-alcoholic beers and cocktails. It's never completely quiet – because you're never alone there either. But it's great there!

I had a bacon burger and I didn't like it. The beef patty looked like it was cooked frozen. No taste, overcooked but not seared. It felt hard to eat too. I would expect something nicer for 16 euro. The waiters were polite and service was fine but unfortunately the burger was bad.

Super friendly staff, incredibly delicious food, and a wonderful atmosphere. Only the restrooms could use a bit more attention. We've been there several times now and have generally been very satisfied.

The service staff was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, we had the strong impression that the food wasn't freshly prepared. The burger meat in all portions was dry and lacked any discernible texture, and the bun was also dry. The cheese sauce on the chili cheese fries seemed artificial and tasted more like a convenience store product—there was no cheese flavor at all. The bruschetta tasted almost entirely of water and parsley. For the price, the quality offered unfortunately doesn't live up to expectations.

A really nice location with a view of the lake if you get the right tables on the outdoor terrace. This day it was quite windy and cold but it went well anyway. The pulled pork burger is recommended from the extensive menu. Lots of drinks for those who are in the mood for it.

Great for cocktails outside, but avoid eating, and don't expect friendly service. It used to be a really nice place, but over the years the food got worse, the prices got higher, and the service got worse and more unfriendly. The staff spend most of their time in private conversations and only attend to guests when they have time. There are constant mistakes with orders, and when something is complained about, the responses are usually unfriendly. These days it feels more like a private bar for the employees. It's a shame about the beautiful location.

We went there for dinner today. The food was excellent. There were delicious cocktails and a fantastic dessert. Unfortunately, we weren't served until we asked. Otherwise, the staff was very friendly. Plus, if you sit outside, you have a beautiful view of the lake. Highly recommended.

This restaurant with an outdoor terrace is located at the end of the pedestrian zone. We had two different burgers with sides and cocktails. All very tasty. The restaurant advertises happy hour on cocktails. Unfortunately, the price difference is very small, but the cocktails were very good. Card payments accepted.

Expensive food and not to my taste, service was not nice, I had to ask twice to order food

After an eternity, we were only served, then asked for drinks and not for food. I tried to order several times, but the payment was just as slow.

After the renovation, I like it even better, as I, as a single person, now have a choice of tables for two, provided they aren't reserved. A great team who are friendly and accommodating. I really enjoy going to Bolero and also like sitting outside. I recommend booking in advance. The food is delicious and well-presented. Whether it's coffee or wine... it's a delight / and the long drinks are mixed exactly how you want them... a big thank you!

"When I'm chewing my nuts, it's closing time," said the arrogant man behind the counter at Bolero at 11:55 p.m. Disrespectful behavior one hour before closing time, according to the Google entry. You couldn't be more rude to inform late-deciding guests that it's already closing time. Someone seems to be overestimating their own abilities. Very poor form, especially since we had asked politely.

We spontaneously ended up at Bolero. We were greeted warmly at the front and taken straight to our table. Drinks and food arrived quickly and were delicious. Even when the place was completely packed, the service was still excellent. We'd be happy to come back.

Definitely a recommendation. A very solid menu; we had delicious burgers and enchiladas. The service was excellent, friendly, and child-friendly, and she had a good eye for people's needs (sure, they make money from the sales, but the place was packed, and you had to manage both keeping an eye on things AND getting the drinks out in a flash). From the very first moment, you feel welcome in this modern, stylishly decorated restaurant. The atmosphere is lively but not too loud – perfect for a relaxed evening with friends or a special occasion. The menu is varied and offers a great selection of Mexican and international dishes. Everything we ordered was freshly prepared, lovingly presented, and absolutely delicious. Particularly noteworthy: the fajitas and the creative cocktails – simply fantastic! The service was also consistently friendly, attentive, and quick, without being intrusive. You can tell the passion that goes into their work here. Conclusion: If you want to enjoy delicious food in Schwerin and value a good atmosphere, great drinks, and authentic flavors, Bolero is the place for you. We'll definitely be back!

In the men's restrooms you could buy anal plugs which disturbed me a lot and that's why I developed a psychosis otherwise a 10/10

A small group of girls visited on a Friday evening... The food was great, the cocktails were a huge selection with just a tiny bit too much ice. Unfortunately, the ambient noise was extremely loud (of course, it was a Friday night rush hour and all that), so the conversation was more like a clubbing conversation, and we had to crawl across the table almost the entire time to really understand everyone. But the waitress was incredibly nice, friendly, and welcoming, and that really made the evening great. Unfortunately, I don't remember her name or anything, but the lady was very sweet and almost embarrassed when I thanked her again for the warm service as I left.

The food is a smooth 10/10 ❤️ The ambience is very nicely designed. And the waiters are friendly. So if you're looking for delicious food and great drinks, you should reserve a table there.

Unfortunately, we weren’t even able to place an order - we were moved to another room without explanation, and for several minutes no one came or brought a menu. The hall was empty, and the staff stood at the bar and ignored us. We left disappointed without trying the food.

Nice restaurant. The service was ok. The drinks tasted great. Unfortunately I was a bit disappointed with the food - the enchiladas were unfortunately very soggy - so gratinating the dish with cheese didn't help. The burgers and fries were very tasty.

The food wasn't that nice. The burger wasn't completely cooked through and tasted like a cheap patty from the store. I also think it's bad that you have to pay €1 if you haven't managed to eat and have the rest packed up. I don't know of any restaurant where you have to pay to have the rest packed.

Schwerin offers a fairly extensive selection of great restaurants. The Bolero is one of those that still has an open kitchen late in the evening, well after 9:30 p.m. So if you want to eat burgers, wraps or quesadillas shortly before ten, then this is the place to go. Burgers and wraps, at least that was my choice, were great. The service staff were super nice, one perhaps a bit too touchy, but okay. Unfortunately, the ambience didn't seem like that at all. The rustic, the original is missing here. Instead, there are screens hanging here and there that seem to show advertising from local insurance agents all evening long (and the occasional drink or two). Anyone who manages to ignore it is doing well. It was also a bit stupid that the smoking area was right at the entrance and the “smell” kept wafting in. Better, you have more than 1 seat in the back area. But you'll definitely get full here and leave feeling happy in the end.

Waiter was aggressive and abusive My husband and I visited on the 7th. March around 10.30 p.m. in the Bolero Schwerin and we were looking forward to a lovely evening. Unfortunately, that wasn't to be the case. We were already standing around at the entrance because according to a sign you were supposed to wait until you were assigned a table, which didn't happen. So we just sit down somewhere. Immediately, an obviously not sober waitress pointed out to us without greeting that the area would be closed and, swaying slightly with her arm, led us to a table. So far so good. Although several waiters saw us and there was eye contact, we were not served. The waiter who collected the cash from the neighboring table looked at us and then talked to the four women at the table for 10 minutes and joked and laughed with them without them ordering anything, it was obviously a private conversation. It gets even better, watch out. When my husband then waved over another waiter, a young, smaller, dark-haired man, greeted him and wanted to know politely whether we could order, he, without saying a word, flicked his thumb and forefinger in the air several times to give my husband the "instruction" to follow his fingers, and wordlessly pointed to the other waiter, who was chatting nicely and relaxed with the ladies, and turned around without a word and let us sit down. We were very surprised at such behavior, my husband spoke to the waiter about his behavior, whereupon he shouted at my husband, yes, I really say shouted at him, "yes yes yes, you want to order, I understood that, I said that my colleague was coming. Yes, is everything okay now?" We immediately got up and left the restaurant. We have never been treated in such a vulgar manner. What does he think he is that raises his voice against others? What kind of situation is this, you want to go out to eat and the waiter tells you off? Are you crazy? He obviously had some problems. We don't want to have anything to do with such primitive behavior, so we're glad we didn't leave any money in this shop.

A real insider tip in Schwerin! The Bolero impresses with a great atmosphere, modern ambience and a great selection of cocktails. The drinks are not only creative, but also perfectly mixed The food was also a highlight! Fresh, tasty and beautifully prepared. The fajitas in particular were incredibly good. System catering Unfortunately, they're all convenience products, and that's how it tastes. Price performance does not match the quality offered at all. The tomato soup, for example, never saw real tomatoes. Burger patties not fresh meat, industrial patties. The lettuce under the patties is always partially brown on the edge! So not fresh. I'd rather not talk about the fries. Passion and dedication are still waiting outside the door and asking for entry.

Yesterday we had dinner with the whole family. The food was actually very tasty, but afterwards we all had stomach aches and diarrhea. It's not normal for all of us to experience such discomfort right after eating. Before that we hadn't eaten anything that could have triggered this reaction. It is striking that we all felt this way after visiting the restaurant. Never again !!!

At the beginning of the visit we were often at the table. Food and the first 2 round drinks arrived quickly. Afterwards you often sit on the "dry" table for over half an hour because no staff feels responsible for the table.

We went there twice for brunch in December. Price/performance is right. The food was very, very tasty, varied and it was always freshly replenished. I hope brunch will be offered again next Advent. Thank you very much, we had two wonderful days.

Had a burger, but that was the only thing on the plate...there was a good amount of meat but otherwise just a burger. Unfortunately service not so good. Waiters walk around blindly and prefer to chat at the bar. You have to wave conspicuously. One more glass remains until you order - an attentive waiter walks past and asks on his own initiative. Or maybe everyone only had one bad day 😉Atmosphere very nicely designed.
