Sehr schöne Location. Außer das man nach Regentagen mit den Stühlen im Rasen versinkt, war absolut nichts zu meckern 😊

Ein wunderschönes Restaurant mit einem wunderschönen Blick auf den Schweriner See. Die Karte ist zwar nicht sehr lang, aber mehr sls hochwertig. Mit einem Rollstuhl kommt man am besten von hinten über die Terrasse rein. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und rücksichtsvoll, auch zu Menschen mit Mobilitätseinschränkungen. Es gibt auch eine behindertengerechte Toilette.

Wir haben hier unsere Hochzeit gefeiert. Von Anfang bis Ende super Service. Es fing schon bei der Planung an, so zuvorkommend und ich hatte das Gefühl "alles ist möglich und wir brauchen uns um nichts Gedanken machen". Und tatsächlich war es dann auch so. Die Location, das Essen, selbst das Personal..einfach phantastisch. Wir und auch die Gäste haben den ganzen Abend nur positives erwähnt. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Super Lage direkt am See. sehr entspannte Atmosphäre. Großzügiges lounge Areal vor dem Gästehaus am See mit schönen bequemen Sitzgelegenheit. Genau das richtig um den Tag ausklingen zu lassen.

Das Restaurant war leider zu der Zeit um 9 Uhr nur für Hotelgäste geöffnet.So habe ich nur die morgendliche Frische und den Ausblick auf den Schweriner See genossen und gestaunt das 2 Frauen alle Tische und Stühle mit Außenbereich feucht gewischt haben.Toll !!!

Wir waren am 12.04.2026 zum Sonntagsbrunch da. Der Service war freundlich, das Essen o.k. und reichlich. Insbesondere das Creme Brulee war sehr lecker! Das Ambiente in Ordnung und die Toiletten sauber. Bei Sonnenschein ist der Aussenbereich Klasse! Die Preise sind für das Brunchbuffet angemessen! 38,- Euro pro Person. Nachdem es zunächst einen Abrechnungsfehler gab, hat sich die Geschäftsleitung bei mir gemeldet, entschuldigt und das zuviel Berechnete erstattet. Sehr fair. Ich finde es Klasse wenn Fehler eingestanden und berichtigt werden. Gerne komme ich wieder.

Vom 20.03.2026 bis 22.03.2026 waren meine Partnerin und ich Gäste im Seglerheim. Wir fühlten uns super aufgehoben. Die Zimmer sind sauber und sehr schön eingerichtet, mit Blick auf den Schweriner See. Am 22.03.2026 hatten wir mein Geburtstag im Seglerheim gefeiert. Ich hatte meine Gäste zum Brunchen eingeladen. Es war ein super schmackhaftes Buffet. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam. Meine Gäste und ich waren rundum zufrieden. Wir würden dort jeder Zeit wieder übernachten. Der Zugang vom Zimmer zur Terrasse ist ein wenig kompliziert. Aber wenn man es auf die Terrasse geschafft hat, dann kann man die schöne Aussicht auf den Schweriner See genießen.

Hervorragender Sonntagsbrunch!! Wirklich alles in Top-Qualität, abwechslungsreich und warm/frisch zubereitet. Für den Preis unschlagbar. Der Service sehr zuvorkommend, höflich und professionell.

Wir hatten 2024 im Sommer hier eine Hochzeitsparty gefeiert. Das Ambiente war wundervoll hergerichtet, das Essen, Buffet, Sektempfang, der Außenbereich, den wir abgesperrt zur Nutzung bekamen, der Service u. auch die Übernachtungen waren einfach perfekt. Alle Gäste hatten Spaß u. es war ein unglaublicher Tag, den wir verbracht hatten, bis in die Nacht hinein. Dafür nochmals herzlichen Dank an das gesamte Team vom Seglerheim. Jetzt zwei Jahre später habe ich per Mail einen Gutschein, für unser junges Paar zum Hochzeitstag, angefordert u. habe ihn auch schnell erhalten, denn ich wohne über drei Stunden entfernt. Wir hatten eine ganz tolle Geburtstagsfeier mit knapp 40 Gästen von 12 bis 88 Jahren. Wir haben von allen Gästen ein ganz tolles Feedback zum Essen und Ambiente erhalten. Der sehr aufmerksame und zugewandte Service wurde besonders gelobt. Also, vielen Dank ans gesamte Team!!! Wir können die Location wärmstens empfehlen 🤗

Wir haben im Januar ein Wochenende im Seglerheim Schwerin verbracht. Ganz freundlich wurden wir empfangen und auf unser Zimmer gebracht. Die Zimmer sind praktisch und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Zugang zur Terrasse hat man auch von seinem Zimmer. Mit dem Blick über den Schweriner See. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, zu erwähnen ist auch die tägliche Reinigung. Jeden Morgen erwartete uns ein reichhaltiges Frühstück. Im Restaurant ließen wir jeden Abend unseren Tag ausklingen. Das Essen dort ist auch sehr schmackhaft und zu empfehlen. Die Lage am See ist einzigartig, ganz schnell ist man zu Fuß in der Stadt. Wir werden sicherlich noch öfter hier Gast sein.

Wir hatten hier unser Hochzeitsessen. Sowohl wir, als auch unsere Gäste waren sehr glücklich mit der Wahl des Lokals. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist großartig und alles, wirklich alles, hat hervorragend geschmeckt. Es wurde sehr gelobt. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die äußerst freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung, die diesen besonderen Tag für uns perfekt gemacht hat. Ein rundum wunderbares Erlebnis. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen!

Essen schmeckt lecker, nur ein bisschen zu wenig auf dem Teller.

Wir haben dort 2 Nächte übernachtet. Ich war sehr positiv überrascht und würde es jederzeit nochmal buchen. Alles sehr sauber und ordentlich. Alle Mitarbeiterinnen sowie die Geschäftsführung sehr nett. Sehr nette Kommunikation vorab und vor Ort. Wir haben bei der Ankunft dort zu Mittag gegessen. Es ist preislich etwas höher und aber auf jeden Fall das auch Wert. War sehr lecker! Die Zimmer haben eine tolle Aussicht direkt auf den See. Sehr ruhige Lage und trotzdem ist man schnell zu Fuß am Schloss und in der Innenstadt. Zimmer sind sauber und ordentlich. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und würden es jederzeit nochmal buchen.

Ich habe selten in einer Gaststätte zur Weihnachtszeit eine Ente serviert bekommen , die nach Kassler schmeckt. Leider nicht lecker

Great brunch at the Seglerheim. The service was truly excellent. We were greeted warmly and shown to our tables. Drinks arrived promptly, and we were always politely asked if we needed anything else. The food was all very good and fresh, and the food was constantly being replenished, so you never had to wait. The view of Lake Schwerin is truly beautiful.

We weren't there for dinner, just to stay overnight. The location is, of course, sensational, with a view of the lake. It's close to the old town and only a 10-minute walk from the castle.

Absolutely not. For €26, a flattened and heavily breaded pork schnitzel with a tiny portion of fries and a dollop of cucumber salad. Bone dry, impossible to swallow without plenty of water. Thanks, never again!!!!

First, I'd like to mention the ambiance with its view of Lake Schwerin and the castle. It's absolutely fantastic. The staff is also very friendly. But you go to a restaurant to eat something. Unfortunately, you have to make some significant compromises. 1. Limited selection of dishes 2. Long wait for the food 3. Prices are very overpriced, especially the €15 currywurst fries with a mini salad. Very poorly presented, lukewarm, and far too small. 4. Generally very small portions for the price All in all, very disappointed with the visit

We docked our houseboat and were warmly welcomed by the harbormaster. It was an ideal base for a trip to the castle. We had a wonderful evening meal in the restaurant.

The "Seglerheim Schwerin" restaurant will be taken over by a new operator on February 1, 2020. The new team has extensive experience in the restaurant industry and will quickly lead the restaurant to success. A visit after the opening is definitely worthwhile. The rooms are ideal for family celebrations and other events. The location on Schwerin's inner lake with a view of Schwerin Castle is unique.

We stayed in the "Korsar" room, had breakfast and dinner downstairs. Everything is done with love and it is visible in the details. The room has everything you need (refrigerator, safe, kettle, magnifying mirror) and a gorgeous view of the lake. Breakfast is very beautifully served and has everything you need (fruit, yogurt, cheese, eggs). The staff pays attention to your preferences and the next morning you see what you especially liked. It's very nice. The restaurant is very friendly and professionals with a sense of humor. The food, dessert and cocktail were very tasty. Thank you! I highly recommend!

A CHEER We called at lunchtime, right after opening, to ask if they had a table for three people available that evening. The answer was that they wanted to serve walk-ins and therefore didn't accept reservations. So, we drove 24km there at 4:30 p.m. as a "walk-in" and saw that all the tables had "reserved" written on them. We asked for a table anyway. The answer: You can imagine it would be full in this nice weather—everything is reserved. When we asked about the phone call, we received a rude response. We strongly advise against a visit due to the unfriendly treatment.

We spent two days at this restaurant with guest rooms, beautifully situated on Lake Schwerin. The staff was very friendly and practically anticipated our every need at breakfast. The rooms are new, comfortable, and tastefully furnished. With the view of the lake and the gentle lapping of the waves in the morning, we felt like we were at the seaside. The management even helped us out of a pinch by providing us with change, for which we express our sincere gratitude on behalf of our "Franconian Growers" association. Wir haben kürzlich, nach unserer Trauung, mit unserer Familie, knapp 24 Personen, im Seglerheim zu Mittag gegessen, im Anschluss gab es noch Kaffee und Kuchen. Die Speisen waren ausgezeichnet und auch der Service war top. Das Seglerheim wird sehr gut geführt, man merkt einfach, dass alle an einem Strang ziehen um dem Gast einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu bieten. Die Lage am Wasser ist natürlich wunderschön. Wir kommen gerne wieder und bedanken uns ganz herzlich beim Team vom Seglerheim.

We were greeted by first-class hosts in a breathtaking setting directly on Lake Müritz. From the very beginning, we experienced a welcoming and warm family atmosphere. The quality of our selected dishes was second to none. We were extremely satisfied with the service, food, and drinks. The quality of our food, along with generous portions, was excellent. We want more culinary experiences like this and will now become regular customers of the Dogo family and team at the Seglerheim—we are extremely satisfied!

After a lovely day in Schwerin, including a castle tour and a lake and city tour, we rounded off the day with dinner at the Sailors' Home. We were served very well by a friendly waiter. 👍 He fulfilled all our wishes to our complete satisfaction. It was a wonderful evening.

My wife and I held our wedding reception here. We were absolutely thrilled. Great atmosphere, great food—truly delicious—and attentive and super friendly staff. As soon as your glass was empty, you had another one in your hand. All of our guests had nothing but positive things to say and were very impressed with the Seglerheim! The inconspicuous name Seglerheim attracted us as a break from our bike tour to have a casual drink and perhaps a bite to eat. When we got there, we were impressed by the direct location on the lake and the nice external appearance. We received an extremely friendly welcome in the restaurant and were given a table with a view of the lake. The service was outstanding and our food was great! The selection of drinks left nothing to be desired. Absolutely recommended!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Extremely competent and friendly service. Food was good, but the finishing touch was missing. Extensive wine list. Price not cheap, but okay. Ambience: usual standard of an upscale restaurant inside. Outside, when the weather is nice, there is a great view of the lake with a spectacular sunset.

Everything was there and we had enough

The service left us speechless. You could already hear the staff complaining behind the counter when we would finally leave. It was 9:00 p.m. and we were the last guests. The waitress came to us and said that she would bring us the bill. We politely asked if they were closing now, since the restaurant was open until 10 p.m. The waitress then said, quote "No, but you are the last guests and after all you won't drink any more anyway" remark - our glasses were still filled. We then paid for our food and drinks after being thrown out straight away. Again you could hear the staff complaining about how little they tipped. Such behavior leaves me more than speechless! We hope that the ladies were able to finally have their well-deserved evening off work quickly and apologize that WE were still in the restaurant within opening hours. Won't happen again!!!

People here are very knowledgeable about gluten-free food. There is even a gluten-free burger on the menu.

A wonderful evening at the Segelheim in Schwerin. We celebrated the end of our lovely holiday in Schleswig-Holstein here on the way to Berlin. And we weren't disappointed. The food was excellent, great service and value for money totally reasonable.
