Zum Hirschen in Freiburg im Breisgau

Had dinner there yesterday with 4 people. Perfectly located right next to a tram stop in the Freiburg-Haslach district. No "would-be-fancy-micki-Italian", but delicious, real home cooking at fair, reasonable prices (where can you still find that today?) Everything was very tasty, whether it was the pasta dishes or the pizzas, great! For dessert we had homemade tiramisu, which was amazing! If you want good food in a relaxed atmosphere, coupled with nice, attentive service, this is the place for you! Thanks for the lovely evening!

The food was really tasty...we haven't eaten so well in a long time...the plates were lovingly prepared...and the portions were sufficient...the price was also very reasonable...if you want to eat good home-style food...then we can't miss the restaurant anymore...The staff were very friendly and nice...It was a pleasant dinner...

The food was really tasty and fresh. The tomatoes were fresh, the arugula was crunchy, the bacon was good, and the sourdough bread was great. You can tell that everything was of good quality. The atmosphere was very nice and cozy, you immediately feel at home. Everything was very harmonious and friendly. The service was nice and attentive, always there at the right time. Everything was perfect and I can only recommend it.

We were there on December 22nd. eat there. Super friendly team and incredibly delicious pizzas. I haven't eaten so well in a long time. Thanks!

The Hirschen in Freiburg Haslach still conveys a certain charm of a village restaurant. Centrally located at the village fountain with a tram stop, it is ideal to stop off there after work. The food is great, the atmosphere too and the staff is very friendly.

Dear customers, I was here today with my wife and all I can say is that it couldn't be better, I'm a meat eater but I only ate bruschetta today and the same thing twice. Price/performance tip TOP friendliness was invented here and yes, what can I say if you want to eat well and also Cheap is the right place, I recommend it to you and hope you go, kind regards, Daniel Brosemer

I often go to Hirschen on my lunch break. Great food, fast and friendly service and fair prices. The espresso is one of the best in Freiburg.

There were four of us and the food was very tasty. The service was nice and quick. We liked it and will go there again.

A solid Italian restaurant with the usual dishes. A beautiful new garden restaurant. Always full, as it is now one of the few restaurants left after Corona in the Haslach district. Young and friendly waitresses. No longer the cheap Jacob, but like everywhere else!

A city pub with everything that goes with it: very friendly service, good food, fast beer... and you always meet someone you know...

A Freiburg pearl in Haslach that was previously unknown to me: super tasty, very nice innkeepers, food came incredibly quickly - and all at a more than fair price. both thumps up!

It's old-fashioned decor, but otherwise very interesting. There is a bottle of Maggi on every table. 😉😅Whoever needs that much flavor enhancer. 😅 We got a table even though the restaurant was very busy. Very attentive staff. Almost every meat dish comes in two sizes. We had the schnitzel with pepper and mushroom sauce and the schnitzel tomato sauce with spaghetti. Everything was very delicious. Also the starter. All the other dishes that came out of the kitchen also looked very good.

The positive first: friendly staff. Otherwise, in my opinion, it was more of an old-fashioned, dark shop that still smelled badly of old grease when we visited. I called ahead to see if we could eat asparagus there. Was answered in the affirmative and a table was reserved. According to the notice on site, two meat dishes with asparagus. Our request to only serve asparagus was rejected on the grounds that the boss didn't allow us to "give out" just the asparagus! Hello “Boss”, are you still okay?!

Very good food and the staff were very friendly and patient. Prices are good. The food is authentic as is the operator and the entire team.

Well-kept restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere, good food and friendly service. My ignorance about a Jägerschnitzel was rewarded with an espresso on the house - that made me happy. Tip: The tiramisu (without egg) is very good!

The Gasthaus zum Hirschen is always worth a visit. The pizzas and other dishes are delicious and the service is very good. 14 days ago we at the club had a general meeting about 5 minutes from the Gasthaus zum Hirschen. The employees rocked our large order with a total of 43 dishes without any problems! The organization was great and everything was delicious! Highly Recommended!

Very original, classic restaurant with very committed staff. Good price-performance ratio.

The location is good, right on the main street with access to the tram, the atmosphere is inviting. We ordered pizza, schnitzel and the daily special - everything was delicious at a fair price and we didn't have to wait long for the food. The beer selection is plentiful and you don't have to poison yourself with gander. The service was friendly and helpful. There's really nothing to complain about here.

Simple and down-to-earth restaurant in Freiburg-Haslach with excellent cuisine and very friendly and quick staff, which is very popular in the district. The menu is simple: there is pizza, pasta dishes, schnitzel & steak with fries. Everything tastes great and the prices are sensational.

I love the spaghetti bolo there

Gemütliche Atmosphäre, wie man sie von früher kennt. Toller Service. Hausgemachte Speise, ordentliche Portionen, zu fairen Preisen. Bitte vorreservieren, sonst kann es eng werden. Jederzeit eine Empfehlung.

Great pizza! The dough is nice and chewy but also nice and crispy on the edges. We had the pizza with Aubergine, zucchini and buffalo mozzarella which can be quite soggy but this crust held up! We also had spaghetti arrabiata which was nicely done. The service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere was warm with lots of laughter and conversation.

Das Essen war fantastisch gut. Der Service und die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und zuverlässig. Der einzige Kritikpunkt ist dass die ganze ein Kleinkind durch das Lokal gelaufen ist. Sonst eines der besten Lokale wo ich war

Habe mir heute die Pizza Chef mit Salami, Speck und Zwiebeln geholt. Als ich zu Hause den Karton öffnete, war ich schockiert auf der Pizza waren ganze drei Scheiben Salami was ich persönlich etwas wenig finde. Geschmacklich war sie gut.

Der Service, die Pommes und der italienische Caffè am Ende waren gut. Wir wurden durch das gut-bürgerliche Ambiente, das Tagesangebot Paprikaschnitzel und die Tische draußen angelockt. Was wir nicht wussten und nach dem Essen erfuhren: Das Lokal wurde an einen italienischen Besitzer verkauft und ist eine Pizzeria. Die deutschen Gerichte sind weiterhin auf der Karte, um Bestellungen dieser Art bedienen zu können. Das Schnitzel bestand aus 2 dünnen Scheiben unpaniertem Schweinefleisch, die in einer braunen Fix-Soße schwammen. Je nach Soßenart sind Dosen-Champions oder -Paprika untergemischt. Das Schnitzel Wiener Art ist TK. Dazu gibt es eine Schale der braunen Fix-Einheitssoße. Der Beilagensalat ist jeweils eine Handvoll Kopfsalat mit Joghurtdressing (wahrscheinlich Fertigsoße). Ganz schrecklich. Dieses Essen den Gästen zu servieren und einen Restaurantpreis zu verlangen. Das Personal in der Küche kann keine Kochausbildung haben.

Super Restaurant mit sehr nettem Personal und einer tollen Küche. Man kann sowohl drin im urigen Ambiente essen oder auch draußen in Biergarten Atmosphäre, sehr gemütlich und empfehlenswert. Gute Küche mit tollen Gerichten, für jeden was dabei. Absolut empfehlenswert und immer wieder gern!!

Mein Essen war lecker, bei meiner Frau leider nicht so,Soße war leider nicht so scharf wie gedacht, aber die Nudeln wirklich sehr lecker , Bedienung wirklich top gehen garantiert wieder hin

Spaghetti Meeresfrüchte. Nie wieder. Soße war unterirdisch. Hatte den Geschmack von alten fast verfaulten Muscheln. Konnte es nicht wirklich essen. Schade. Kein Vergleich zu früheren Essen. 😥

Als Stammkunde seit 30 Jahren waren wir jetzt nach der Wiedereröffnung und unter neuer Leitung endlich mal wieder im Hirschen. Unschlagbares Preis/Leistungsverhältnis, sehr freundliches Team und genau da renoviert, wo es nötig war. Auf die nächsten 30 Jahre!!
