We had the most delicious sauerbraten ever here. And the roast goose breast was also incredibly tasty. The staff were super friendly and attentive. Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back.

Unfortunately, only 3 stars. The food was great, but the prices were high; €9 for a wine spritzer is borderline. What's completely unacceptable is that you're practically pressured to pay in cash; card payments are only reluctantly accepted.

A lovely little restaurant with a very friendly owner and a wonderful atmosphere. The three of us arrived without a reservation about 30 minutes before the first reservation period. Nevertheless, we were seated immediately and received our food in less than 20 minutes. The cordon bleu with fried potatoes is highly recommended.

Five stars are definitely not enough here. Fresh, fresher, to the point of being flossed! You feel like heaven in France, and the shoulder of pork comes flying to you in very high quality. The two sisters have the place firmly under control and know their craft! Gastronomy that's second to none! Hats off, we'll be back!

The food was okay. Small portions for a high price. It's very touristy. I wouldn't go back. I know other places where the value is better. The server was nice.

Authentic German restaurant with a traditional regional menu and specials. It is a cosy place with limited seating.... So you may be better off booking! We didn't, so had to come back and hour later when they could fit us in. We are glad we waited. The food was delicious, and service was fantastic, our server spoke fantastic English and translated everything for us and made recommendations. We had the pork fillet medallions with peppercorn sauce, pork shoulder and a schnitzel. All of which were fantastic. Highly recommend this place for a local experience.

The food was fantastic! Truly authentic Franconian cuisine. We felt like we were at Grandma's! The young lady's service was also extremely warm, courteous, and professional! We'd be happy to come back anytime.

We had dinner on Friday, October 10th. Excellent! Small, quaint restaurant. The shoulder of pork could be cut off with a fork. A knife was only needed for the rind. Roast lamb was a dream. The sauerbraten was perfectly cooked. Our vegetarian companion was also easily accommodated: spaghetti with a Parmesan cream sauce. Delicious, of course. Suddenly, "Mutti" from the kitchen appeared at our table. Man, you can't eat that dry, you need sauce. Bam, there was a jug of sauce on the side. Friendly and chatty hosts. In any case, we were absolutely satisfied with the evening. The only problem is, the menu isn't available online. We looked at the pictures from other guests' posts. Definitely worth a visit. Make a reservation...

Fabulous Sauerbraten and Pork Shoulder with Dumplings.

Had an amazing experience here for dinner. Arrived early as I didn’t have a booking, was made to feel comfortable and given a table promptly. The pork shoulder was perfect! The restaurant is cosy and warm. Definitely recommend coming here. Would return without question.

Fantastic friendly service and tasty Franconian food. The indoor seating was full when we arrived but the outdoor part was covered and welcoming. We had our 3 month old daughter with us and the staff were great with her.

Beautiful restaurant in the heart of Nuremberg. Service was delicious. The food was almost top-notch, although the pasta seemed like it had been left yesterday. The schnitzel, fried potatoes, and Kaiserschmarrn, on the other hand, were excellent.

Really good! The food was incredibly delicious; I had a shoulder of pork and loved it. The waitresses were super friendly and on the ball! I also thought it was great that the cook came out of the kitchen and asked how the food was. The place was completely booked on a Tuesday, which I think speaks volumes about the quality! If you're with more than two people, it's best to make a reservation.

The shoulder of pork with dumpling was exceptionally delicious, and the ambiance was pleasantly rustic. The highlight of the evening, however, was the hospitality of the chef :) Highly recommended!

Based on the positive reviews and because we were nearby, we made a spontaneous and hassle-free reservation for the evening. My choice was the aspic, which was absolutely fantastic in both portion size and taste! The schnitzel was also excellent! Friendly service, short wait time! We highly recommend this restaurant!

The food is great and service is wonderful, when you come in you feel right at home... There is no beter restaurant in Nurnberg....

We didn't have a table reservation, so luckily we only had to wait about 10 minutes. We ordered shoulder of pork with dumplings – everything was delicious, but unfortunately, there was only one dumpling despite the amount of meat. I would have preferred two dumplings. I always need a piece of bread for a meal like this, so I ordered one separately. The salad was also delicious.

A very pleasant atmosphere and excellent food, with friendly staff—everything a traditional pub needs. A table wasn't available right away, but we were able to order drinks right away and wait at the bar stools by the entrance.

From the reservation (by phone) to the delicious food and excellent service at fair and reasonable prices, the Flösla is highly recommended. The owner is passionate about her work and puts her heart into it. And she even made it possible for us to still have a spot available despite the hut being full. Clean👍🏼

Top restaurant for Franconian cuisine! Super quaint, the entire restaurant has a great style. The outdoor seating area is also very cozy and separated from the street by a wall. The breeze is a bit lacking in the summer. The food was delicious; my shoulder of pork with dumplings was a dream. Service was also very quick and friendly.

For the cooks: a Cordon Bleu" is NOT a slice of ham and one of cheese imprisoned between two snitzels. The side of potatoes was very nice, though. I don't recommend it

We've rarely eaten as well as we did here. The owner is super friendly. Prices are more than reasonable for the taste. The ambiance is truly quaint and very cozy. Highly recommended overall. We were happy that we got a table without a reservation. If we're ever in Nuremberg again, we'll definitely go back!

A quaint and very cozy family-run restaurant. The schnitzel is fried in butter (you can taste it right away) and the fried potatoes are super delicious. The shandy with Kellerbier (cellar beer) is so much better than a regular shandy. Highly recommended.

A delicious creamed schnitzel and a fantastic Schäufle (Franconian roast with a crust) with a superb crispy crust and a fantastic sauce (like a real roast gravy, not a thick beer sauce). Authentic and very cozy atmosphere. Combined with the good value for money, a clear 5/5 stars. The highlight, however, is the wonderful, friendly service from the owner and her team. The food was delicious. There was a few issues with confusion with the service. But the atmosphere and food were fantastic.

By far the best German restaurant I‘ve been to. The Schäufele is a must and the Hellesbier (German beer) was marvelous. The owner is super friendly and very helpful. Definitely coming back!

The best thing about this restaurant is the way they welcome you, with a smile and a warm welcome as you sit at your table. We were on the terrace where you could hear the river water. The food is homemade and of very good quality, perfect. Very well-prepared German food. The dessert is also a must-try. But as I said, the service is run by a lovely lady, always with a smile. That's always a pleasure. 100% recommendation

These days, you have to go a long way to get value for your money. But everything is just right there. The food was very, very tasty, and the price-performance ratio is definitely right. A very nice atmosphere, and the owner and her staff were very friendly, welcoming, and authentic.

Highly recommended! The food was excellent – one of the best shoulders of pork I've ever eaten. The dumplings and sauce were perfectly paired with it. The Kaiserschmarrn was also excellently made, and the beer went wonderfully with it. This owner-operated restaurant impresses not only with its culinary offerings, but also with its warm, attentive staff. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Visited here for the first time on July 9, 2025, and I was absolutely thrilled! A super warm welcome from Nadine, a great atmosphere, fast and very friendly service, and the food was simply unbelievably delicious. I had the pork schnitzel, and we also tried schnitzel with cream sauce, turkey schnitzel, an omelet, and the fantastic tagliatelle with mushrooms – so good, in fact, that we immediately ordered another portion! Top quality at really fair prices. For me, the best German food I've ever had, and absolutely recommended if you want to eat really well in Nuremberg. It's really delicious. It was the most delicious meal I've had in 10 days in Austria and Germany. The lady was so kind that I gave her a generous tip. The man was trying to quickly clean up the food, but when he saw that, the woman who seemed to be the owner apologized and asked again. I ate the food she recommended. It melted in my mouth.

Unfortunately, we didn't get to eat at what was supposed to be a great restaurant! We were very rudely informed at 5:05 p.m. that there were no seats available on the outside "terrace," with the words "I've already booked my terrace"...but one table clearly had the word "Reserved for 7 p.m." ?? Thanks for the friendly brush-off. Next door at the Luftsprung restaurant, it was also delicious, and above all, the service was very friendly 😌

Yes, highly recommended. Four of us went there and enjoyed the shoulder of pork with dumplings, sauce, and a side salad. It was a true feast for the palate! We went here for dinner on a Saturday and were lucky to get a seat. The food was super tasty and the service was on point. I left my sunglasses there that day, but I live too far away to be able to pick them up at short notice. Very unfriendly employee, wanted to sit us down and asked for a table inside, there was only a large one as there was nothing going on inside The employee said it wasn't possible because more people could come. His answer was that if they didn't like it, they would go somewhere else.

Everything went wonderfully, food, service, everything was great, the boss was very, very nice and I can only recommend it. Vg and a good time!
