Very nice experience. The welcome is friendly and the atmosphere is warm and family.

I've been alone for work, and even though I was full, they made room for me! The food is delicious, and the draft beer is even better!

Highly recommended. We were there today. Schnitzel with asparagus, a dream. I've never eaten such a delicious schnitzel before. The asparagus was perfect. Nadine's service was sensational. 💜

We went here for dinner on a Saturday and were lucky to get a seat. The food was super tasty and the service was on point. I left my sunglasses there that day, but I live too far away to be able to pick them up at short notice. After a very nice communication, a package was delivered to me in the mail containing my glasses. Thank you so much for shipping and all the best!

Very unfriendly employee, wanted to sit us down and asked for a table inside, there was only a large one as there was nothing going on inside The employee said it wasn't possible because more people could come. His answer was that if they didn't like it, they would go somewhere else.

Everything went wonderfully, food, service, everything was great, the boss was very, very nice and I can only recommend it. Vg and a good time!

So where do we start? I don't let anyone tell me what I eat. Secondly, very unfriendly staff simply kicked us out of the restaurant after we said that unfortunately there was nothing to eat for the three vegetarians and that we would just like to have something to drink. That was the first and last time.

This place is absolutely incredible! The food was out of this planet, the setup of the restaurant itself was "yes, I am in Germany now!" and the staff was friendly, very helpful plus the owner (this sweet lady) is speaking English (and some Greek... :) ). Oooh, I wanted to kiss the cook!!! (the owner's mother - yes, this is a family run business and that says it all)

Franconian friendliness and hospitality like it’s in the textbook! The juggler and his companion spontaneously came to this charming tavern in downtown Nuremberg. We were spontaneously accommodated, we got two very tasty schnitzels and watched the goings-on in the restaurant at the counter. Here our beer was refilled without being asked and we were given two schnapps... a particularly iconic restaurant visit!

Good to kneel down on. The service has a heart and a soul, the food tastes almost as good as grandma's and inside it looks just like grandma's. There are even real stub window windows here, simply a Nuremberg original that will hopefully be around in this form for at least another 100 years!

Quaint, original Franconian little inn. Nicely located in the city. The host sisters are real originals and you feel like you are in good hands and entertained! Hearty (including vegetarian) dishes, a small menu but always a board with daily specials. I've always had a good meal there 👍🏼

Tranquil and medieval-looking. Very nice restaurant with friendly staff. Lots of wood paneling and authentic decoration. The Schäuferle is an original dish. A kind of roast pork with a crust that is so tender that it falls apart into pulled pork. You can tell that I'm not an expert, but I see myself as a connoisseur. Worth a visit. Don't forget to reserve.

The Flöẞla is a quaint little restaurant with small niches for eating. The boss serves herself and she is a very competent woman and is very concerned about her guests. Reservation recommended

It's a shame... that I don't live in Nuremberg otherwise I would be a regular there.... but if I ever come to Nuremberg again, I will 100% go to "zum Flößla again Oh yes, the parking garage is only a few meters away.

Rating it 5 stars primarily for the service and atmosphere. We ordered this pork shoulder dish where the meat fell right off the bone and was cooked quite well. I would describe this place as quite cozy and suitable for a dinner for 2.

Walked in without a reservation on an early Thursday evening, and they were able to squeeze us in (though we would only had two hours to eat - which was more than enough for us!). Some locals at the next table suggested we get the schaufele, a Franconian specialty of pork shoulder. It was REALLY well made; the meat was so tender it fell off the bone and the skin was beautifully crispy. When we left, we flung open the front door to find it was raining heavily outside. The woman host was so kind as to give us an umbrella she had on hand so that we could stay dry!

We went there spontaneously in the evening and ate Kaiserschmarren. This was truly one of the best I've ever eaten! The two waitresses were super friendly and served us food even though the kitchen was “used up” because Christmas was just around the corner. In addition, the atmosphere is very cozy. Thank you again. If we are in Nuremberg again, we will definitely come back! :)

Oh my god! Delicious and such wonderful people running this small family restaurant. Rocked up just as it opened and managed to be fitted in before all the bookings arrived. Food was perfect and could not be faulted. But the way we were treated was so good. Thankfully, we managed to get in as we’re here for only one night. I think booking may be useful

Asked for a table for the evening on Saturday lunchtime and happened to get a seat. Had a fantastic one with Krautweckle and Scheuferla. Food 9/10 Service 10/10 Ambiance 9/10

The restaurant is small with only 10 tables, so it’s best to make a reservation in advance. I’d recommend the Schäufele, it was very good. The service was very good as well. I will definitely come again.

Delicious Franconian food made with love. Schnitzel was very juicy. You could actually taste that it was fried in butter. Fried potatoes also well seasoned. Schäufele with tender meat and beautifully crispy crusts, dumplings are also very tasty. Great service, beautiful, rustic decor. Also centrally located, close to the Museum Bridge.

We had made reservations for a group to which a few more people had joined by the time of the appointment. The owner gave us a warm welcome and tried very hard to accommodate all of us (approx. 13 people), which worked after a short wait. Luckily - none of us would have wanted to do without this culinary fireworks display. From the cordon bleu to the Schäufele, the schnitzel and the goose with red cabbage to the Kaiserschmarrn for dessert - the portions were perfectly filling and tasted simply fantastic, with only enthusiastic faces from one end of the table to the other. The service was also absolutely friendly and attentive and the atmosphere in the rustic, cozy dining room invited you to linger - we felt totally at home. So much so that we went straight back that same week. Now a must for your next visit to Nuremberg!

Great quaint restaurant, in a beautiful location. We made a reservation at short notice, the boss was super nice and, since we only had a small table at first, she later gave us a larger table. The food was very good and large portions at very fair prices! What is particularly worth mentioning is that you feel very welcome here, and at the end there was even a “Schnäpsle”. This is a rarity these days. If we are in Nuremberg again we will definitely eat here again!

Zum Flößla is a rustic inn in the middle of downtown Nuremberg. Food: Here you can find hearty home cooking at fair prices. The portions are large, the food tastes delicious. The Kaiserschmarrn for dessert was a real highlight. Unfortunately there is hardly any choice for vegetarians and vegans, which is not up to date. Service: Super nice service, even the boss asked about our well-being. After a small mishap we were given a round of schnapps. The only negative point is the expectations, it was said that the Kaiserschmarrn lasts half an hour and in the end it turned out to be over an hour. Ambiance: Super rustic, cozy, Franconian. A real original, you immediately feel at home.

Just came to Flößla by chance. The ambience and food were very good. The junior manager was so convincing when it came to service. That we ordered a table with 3 Schäufele for the next day 👍.

Clocky restaurant with delicious food. Highly recommended. The food tastes very tasty and the service is very friendly. Fresh cooking is also done here and the schnitzel is pounded by hand. The two of us were lucky to get a table without a reservation on Friday evening. But that was really just a coincidence. Unfortunately, everyone else after us and also callers were no longer so lucky. Therefore reserve at times.

I would have really liked to give full marks, the atmosphere is great, the service staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, but my Schäufele was crispy. Well, it can always happen, generally it tasted great, the crust was great, the sauce was right and the dumpling was great too, only the Schäufele itself was really too dry or in the oven for too long or kept warm or something like that. I had to use a knife and fork to pry the crispy meat off the bone because I couldn't get it off any other way. I mean it was there in 2 minutes after ordering, so I thought "very quickly, as if it was already ready". The Schäufele from the neighbor's table looked juicy and the meat fell off the bone nicely, I guess I was nervous about that, I'll visit you again soon to test it out.

I was rather skeptical, the restaurant seemed small and the view into the small kitchen worried me at first, but what I got to eat was simply great. Delicious schnitzel, which was super tender and nice and crispy on the outside. The fried potatoes have a nice bite and are also damn tasty. Very happy again!!!

Very good German cuisine. Ocksenbackchen was deliciously cooked stew, with a nice deep flavor. Delicious Kaiserschmarrn. And friendly service.

I don't know how this restaurant is so well rated. I had the pfifferlinge (chanterelle mushroom) with potato and scrumble eggs. The mushrooms were completely tasteless. The "roasted" potato also were not so good. I like them soft inside and crunchy outside, they were just soft, as if not completely roasted. The dark beer was completely tasteless. I must recognize at least that the service was really good, people were nice and efficient.

Even without a reservation, we received a very friendly welcome and were looked after throughout the evening. The food was very good and the location is also very nice. Nice place with nice people. The old town as such is also worth seeing - invites you to linger.
