I found the Schützenhof by chance on the Internet because I live nearby. Since then we have regularly eaten there or picked up something. The food and service are simply top!

The meals are big and good. The employees were kind and we were surprised how many languages Adrian was speaking! It was close to our hotel and definitely the perfect place after our trip.

Our visit to this restaurant was simply fantastic. As soon as we entered we were greeted by a very friendly and courteous service who looked after us well throughout the evening. The attentiveness of the staff was outstanding - our children were even surprised with an ice cream. The evening was also a culinary delight. The highlight was definitely the Schäufele: the meat was incredibly tender and the crust was wonderfully crispy. The other dishes we tried were also very tasty. At the end of the evening we were not only full and happy, but also received valuable tips about what we can do in Nuremberg. These personal recommendations rounded off the evening perfectly and showed how much the team cares about the satisfaction of their guests. All in all, our visit to this restaurant was an unforgettable experience that we can warmly recommend. Everything is just right here: from the excellent cuisine to the excellent service. We'd love to come back!

Insider tip! The best of the simplest! Excellent Franconian cuisine, delicious beer and good service in an unspectacular atmosphere. You haven't been able to get meat broth of this quality for a long time. If you don't let the downtown atmosphere put you off and like good food, this is the place for you ❤️🍻

A super friendly staff. Courteous and always ask what is right. Nice environment with cool places. The schnitzel is very tasty and the salad was also good. The cola wheat and cola were also good. Ashtrays were also provided, always worth a visit. They even had a few places with a great roof outside and enough places to catch the sun's rays. :)

We are thrilled with this rustic Nuremberg restaurant. The price-performance ratio is outstanding here. We had Viennese-style schnitzel with fried potatoes and Schäufele with dumplings. There was also a small salad each. The Schäufele with two dumplings costs €17.90. The meat was cooked so well, it fell right off the bone and was super soft. The dumplings are also very tasty. There was more than enough gravy and it added the crowning glory to the dish in terms of taste. The Viennese style schnitzel was also great. Nice and flat with a nice crispy breading. Fried potatoes instead of fries cost an additional €2, making the entire dish €16.90. The starter salad was very simple but it also came with a delicious homemade salad dressing. This gave this simple salad a clever touch. If you are looking for an authentic Nuremberg local, you will find it here far away from the tourist miles. The location means you save significantly compared to the tourist hotspots. However, this does not affect the quality, quite the opposite. The landlord is super nice and we found the decor rustic and authentic. We were completely satisfied and will definitely come back.

Delicious and tasty classic German food. Large portion and very friendly staff. They were very busy and there was therefore a lot of noise, but the customers were happy and the staff were incredibly skilled. We felt they forgot us at first when we sat for a long time without getting a menu card. But they still get 4 stars as the food and speed made up for this.

This is how business should be!! It's very cozy and homely inside, the Schäufele is prepared to perfection, delicious dumplings, good sauce, friendly host, quick service. Here you can feel completely at home and get “Sunday with Grandma” vibes, really nice, I’ll definitely be back!

Very nice host, opening hours on Sunday only until 8 p.m., so my information from the internet was wrong, but I still got a delicious Schäufele and two delicious Pils at 7:50 p.m., so thanks for the nice service and see you next time. We ate here today as part of a trip to Nuremberg and went back to our hotel very full and more than satisfied. There is very good, traditional Franconian food here. The friendly and attentive service staff do the rest. The price/performance ratio is also right. Conclusion: Great, highly recommended!

A very pleasant and cozy place. If you want to visit Franconian cuisine - here you go! Carp with black pepper is simply unsurpassed. The order was accepted quickly and the wait was only 10 minutes. I recommend!

Great location for eating. We think about it here! When we ordered something to share with a robber plate for our two kits, we immediately thought of it and they both received a beautifully presented plate so that they didn't have to fight over the sauce. In addition, the drinks and food were on the table within 10 minutes. Value for money is good. You can easily stop here. In any case, we'll be back.

Schönes Restaurant mit gut bürgerlichen Küche. Essen geschmacklich sehr lecker, reichliche Portionen und preislich ausgesprochen fair. Die Bedienung war freundlich, schnell und zuvorkommend und hatte auch Zeit für einen kurzen Plausch. Wir wurden gut beraten und hatten einen sehr schönes Zanderfilet.

Ristorante tedesco gestito da un italiano. Un po' fuori mano quindi con prezzi leggermente più bassi, ma qualità ottima e buona birra. In estate ha un bel estivo per bere e mangiare all'aperto. Da provare se dormite nelle vicinanze.

Mancare gustoasa ( salata de legume cu sirop de merisoare incredibil de buna), portii generoase la un pret corect. Atmosfera calda, placuta, revenim cu siguranta. Multumiri gazdelor pentru disponibilitate( am fost un grup mare si vesel)!!!

Wir haben gestern Abend im Schuetzenhof gegessen. Ich hatte eine Rolade mit Kloessen und Blaukraut. Die Rolade hat wie die von meiner Mutter von damals geschmeckt. Wunderbar! Mein Mann hatte ein Wiener Schnitzel mit Pommes. Sein Schnitzel war butterweich und sehr gut. Als Nachspeise hatten wir Apfelkuechle mit Vanilleeis und Sahne. Sehr lecker! Die Bedienung war auch sehr freundlich. Wir kommen wieder!!!

Gasthof - normal - fränkisch - schön ! Der Besitzer zaubert unter anderem ein Schäuferla vom feinsten (mit 2 normale Klöß) und auch der Rest braucht sich nicht verstecken ... tolles Bier, vor allem das Dunkle ! .... war extrem überrascht und empfehle es gerne weiter ! 👍👍👍👍👍

Eines der urigsten Gasthöfe in Nürnberg, mit fränkischen Spezialitäten. Sensationelle Qualität zum kleinen Preis, der Service ist aufmerksam und schnell. Hier muss man gewesen sein und man kommt gerne wieder. Gäbe es 6 Sterne, hier würde ich die vergeben!

War zum Abendessen da, Schnitzel mit Champignonsoße und Pommes. Alles positiv! Der Wirt mach drauf aufmerksam, wenn Extrabestellung, dann Aufpreis. Später kam eine "Frauengruppe", eine davon hatte für ein Kind das Handy mit schon etwas lauter "Musik oder ähnliches" dabei/auf Lautsprecher gestellt. Dem wirkte der Wirt auch gleich freundlich entgegen, dass dies die Gäste störe... Das fand ich auch sehr gut... (Darauf könnte die Dame schon auch selber kommen aber mitdenken ist halt so ne Sache oder es ist ihr einfach egal, naja...) Ich empfehle den Schützenhof wirklich weiter. Vielen Dank, ich komme gern wieder!

Essen war geschmacklich sehr gut und ausreichend. Der Biergarten war ebenfalls einladend. Preislich völlig in Ordnung.
