Grizzly Stub'n in Nürnberg

I ordered the schnitzel with potato salad and fries. I had to wait over 30 minutes for it. The portion was decent, but at €16.90, it was also quite expensive. The schnitzel and fries themselves were very good – the potato salad, however, was inadequate. Two other guests at our table also tried the potato salad, and all three of us were dissatisfied with it. When the server asked if everything was to our satisfaction, I replied that the potato salad had a strange taste and might have gone bad. She scowled defiantly, came back a short time later, and said that they had all tasted it in the kitchen and it was fine; it had only been prepared that morning. That was the end of the matter for the server. No offer of compensation like, "I'm sorry, could we bring you a side salad instead?" That would have been a good way to make amends. I won't even comment on the fact that we were repeatedly forgotten about our drinks. The passion fruit juice spritzer was, above all, watery. A higher juice content would have greatly improved it. All in all, I give Grizzly Stub’n three stars for a mediocre dining experience at best. There is definitely room for improvement, especially in customer service.

The price-performance ratio is definitely right. The ample parking is also a big plus. I highly recommend it for parties. It was also lovely that they stayed open later for us.

A lovely restaurant, nicely designed for a "sports club" setting. The steak was excellent, mine cooked to a perfect, tender pink. Others weren't so lucky, so they were offered a schnapps as compensation. That's how it should be; I've often experienced in other places that the owner didn't care. Here, the owner understood. Note: The vegetarians were also impressed with the menu.

A great recommendation for both corporate events and private gatherings. The restaurant thrives on the family atmosphere that the owner puts his heart and soul into each guest. As a group, we tried a variety of dishes and were thrilled. I hadn't been there during his smoking days, but from what I've heard, they're already quite infamous. I'll be back.

We've been to the Grizzly Stuben several times and have always been very satisfied. The food, no matter what, is simply amazing, fresh, and delicious. Yesterday was burger day, and I've never eaten such a great burger. The staff and service were excellent. I highly recommend visiting the Grizzly Stuben. The beer garden is absolutely beautiful and perfect for a stroll. Thanks to the team; you're fantastic.

We had dinner at the Grizzly Stuben with six people on August 15th. Our reserved table was kept free. Although the garden was very busy, the atmosphere was pleasant and peaceful. Very friendly service, and the drinks and food were served quickly. The food was served simultaneously. We were very satisfied with the taste. Special praise goes to "Andrea," who, despite the hectic pace, was still in a joking mood. You don't find that often. Her offer of a round of Hasel was therefore gladly accepted. Summary: everything was perfect, we'd be happy to come back.

First time there. Had a woodcutter's steak. We were disappointed. The pork steak was very thin and over-salted. Fried potatoes with cream looked very good, but unfortunately there was too little salt and they weren't crispy. Everything was unfortunately covered in pan fat, which made it taste greasy. The schnitzel and other food looked very tasty. Maybe we were just unlucky. Excellent service and very friendly. Very nice ambiance and beer garden.

It's okay... we didn't have any meat from the dryager, nor was the outdoor kitchen in operation. Despite it being a beautiful July day. The schnitzels were okay. Beer was exclusively from Tucher brands—a real shame for a beautiful beer garden.

For two years, we've been eating at the Grizzly Stubn several times a month (for birthday parties, dinners, etc.). They recently had a new chef for about a week or two. The food has become disastrous!!! What a shame, what a shame, what a shame! I haven't eaten this badly in a long time.

If you're looking for a great BBQ, you can't miss "Smoking Saturday" @GrizzlyStubn. Delicious ribs and pulled pork – and the brisket melts in your mouth. Highly recommended!

Today was our first time at the Grizzly Stub'n, and it certainly won't be our last. A very nice beer garden. The service was excellent. We had perfectly prepared steaks. The grilled vegetables and salad were delicious. Every week, there are different themed evenings in addition to the current menu: Steak, Smoking Saturday, Shashlik Burger, etc. We'll definitely try many more and would love to come back.

It was packed and a bit loud at the beginning, the waiting time of 1 hour from ordering until the food arrived was too long. Staff friendly, food good and something special from the smoker. Price performance ratio is good. A little extra barbecue sauce would have been nice. The innkeeper made up for the long wait with a free bedside table that was delicious. You find that, very rarely, and it makes up for it. A bit hidden, but highly recommended.

I spontaneously went to the Grizzly Stuben with my girls. The food was delicious and plentiful, the service was very friendly, and even the manager had time for a quick chat. Always happy to go back.

We are very positive about the Grizzly Stubn! On our first visit we treated ourselves to the shish kebab skewer with liver - really fantastic, we don't know when we've ever had a better shish kebab. The cordon bleu with the crunchy potato chips was also amazing. In the meantime we also tried the schnitzel, the cheese spaetzle, the mixed roast, the burger and the Kaiserschmarrn and were thoroughly impressed. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable by Nuremberg standards. There are always changing daily specials that can be accessed online in advance. Regardless of the great food, the ambience is very nice, the winter garden is large and bright, the fireplace provides great warmth and the service is super friendly and familiar. There's even enough space here for events: we're regularly there to watch the Nürnberg Ice Tigers' ice hockey, and soon we'll even be there for a confirmation. We can absolutely recommend the Grizzly Stubn! Simply first class.

A beautiful sports home for the wrestling Bundesliga team. Good cuisine and a super nice host. The food I had was great. The starter was baked champion and a schnitzel with fries as the main course. Everything fine. We were there to record the Ice Tigers podcast “Audiobeweis”, which was really well organized. Lots of parking spaces available. Always happy again.

Very fine cuisine and absolutely friendly staff. Here you get your money's worth, regardless of whether it's Franconian cuisine or the classic schnitzel or currywurst. There are also various culinary themed evenings such as burgers, shashlik, fish and other delicious offerings that are definitely worth exploring. If you want to reach the tip of the iceberg, dry aged meat is the best choice, whether it's an entrecôte, roast beef or a porterhouse steak. You can taste the quality that is served here. As a side dish to a steak, we recommend the bacon beans, which harmonize extremely well with the grilled meat. In my personal opinion, the location is highly recommended, whether in the beer garden in winter or in summer when the weather is good. If you want to please your taste buds, you should definitely visit this address.

We had pre-ordered Veal Schäuferle for home. These were excellent and far exceeded my expectations. The meat was buttery tender and separated from the bone without any problems! If you love Schäuferle, then I would recommend this type to everyone! 👍

The beer garden saves the 5 stars. Partly covered and very green. There is space on the side for the children to play without disturbing them. Very pleasant! The inside could do with some work on the sports restaurant feel, but it's nice and cozy. The food is delicious. You should pay particular attention to the action days. For us it's always a nice meeting place for family dinners.

Very nice atmosphere, which you wouldn't expect from the outside. Service is extremely friendly. The food has been very good so far, although once we found a very long, unappetizing hair in the breading of the Cordon Bleu, hence deducting a star.
