Zeit & Raum - vegetarisch & vegan in Nürnberg

Overall, my visit to the Zeit&Raum restaurant was a mixed experience. When making the reservation online, we noticed that a deposit of 10 euros per person had to be paid. This was easily refunded after the visit, which is fair but still seems a bit unusual. The ambience of the restaurant is definitely interesting. The different zones, each with their own style, make the location exciting and worth exploring. However, our experience was somewhat marred by the unfriendly service - a little more friendliness would have made the stay more pleasant. The breakfast itself was good in terms of taste and we chose a cake stand which was really nicely presented. However, the price-performance ratio is not quite right. We would have expected a little more for the price quoted. Another negative point was the music was way too loud - a more relaxed atmosphere would have been better at 10 a.m. Overall, I can well imagine coming back for a drink with friends in the evening, as the location definitely has potential. However, I wouldn't necessarily go there again for a relaxed breakfast.

Food & drinks were awesome. I can only recommend it to everyone, especially if you like vegan food and appreciate a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. The staff is also super friendly and great. I'd love to come back when I'm in Nuremberg again!

Went for brunch....it was very tasty, but a bit low for the price and not high enough quality! Coffee and chai latte very much 😋! But almost 60€ with drinks was already borderline! Ambience and service very nice!

Este es un restaurante divertido e informal en Wespennest que sirve bastantes platos vegetarianos y veganos. Tienen un asiento interior bohemio y atmosférico con bastantes mesas. Las vibraciones son muy buenas, por lo que este es un buen lugar para familias, grupos pequeños y parejas. Comimos aquí un par de veces durante una reciente visita a Nuremburgo, aprovechando sus platos saludables. Disfrutó de su entrante de hummus, ensalada MamaZeiti y su tarte flambee, particularmente su variedad mediterránea. Las porciones son grandes, precios razonables para lo que se cobra, servicio amable, servicial con los pedidos y oportuno. Me gustaría volver la próxima vez en Nuremburgo.

This is a fun, casual eatery on Wespennest that serves quite a few vegetarian and vegan friendly dishes. They have a Bohemian and atmospheric interior seating with quite a few tables. Vibes are really good, making this a neat spot for families, small groups and couples. We ate here a couple times during a recent visit to Nuremburg, taking advantage of their healthy dishes. Enjoyed their hummus starter, MamaZeiti salad and their tarte flambee, particularly their Mediterranean variety. Portions are large, prices reasonable for what is charged, service friendly, helpful with orders and timely. Would gladly return next time in Nuremburg.

The bread basket for the tier for 2 people is far too small and unfortunately only white bread. We had to order bread twice more and each time there were 4 small half slices in the basket. Where should you put the spreads on it? €3.90 was then charged for each bread basket. The food was good but too little and too expensive.

It was a fine dinner for our family. Everyone likes the all foods. I can go there for vegan food again.

Online reservation is only possible with advance payment. The amount will then not be deducted from the bill, but will be refunded after the visit (which is why you have to check your account after 2-3 days). Food good, but quite expensive. Service good. Toilets unisex without space constraints. The front dining room is attractively designed with lots of plants. We didn't like the other rooms

We always like to come here for breakfast or brunch. The service was super attentive (especially the colleague with the blonde curls) and the food came very quickly. Everything was super tasty and the system with the tapas is great so you can try a variety of things :)

The restaurant mainly offers vegetarian and vegan dishes. Interesting and nicely decorated, it was very well attended. The sweet tarte flambée was delicious. Overall a nice evening.

There were no windows, but the decoration was very nice. The food was really good, but also expensive. The service was great! I wouldn't go again because it was expensive, but it was also really good.

Das Essen war lecker, die Auswahl Veganer Speisen groß, die Bedienung freundlich und die Location hatte wirklich Flair. Preislich etwas zu teuer und pro Person eine No Show Gebühr von 10.-€ bei Reservierung finde ich bei der Innenstadtlage unnötig.

Food was good - price a bit too high for what it is.

Passable and quite overpriced breakfast. Unfortunately there were only 4 choices, which I find weak. And the card was translated into English, I don't know why that had to be. At least the ones I had. Please at least provide a German translation here. It was okay but nothing more.

We wanted to try the restaurant with friends and have breakfast here. When making a reservation it turned out that you had to pay 10 euros as a deposit! Total impudence, of course we won't do that if the restaurant doesn't need any new customers!

Unfortunately not good value for money. The food tastes delicious but 13€ for two slices of bread that are thinner than a piece of paper, smeared with 1mg of avocado, is just too little for me and a shame. The store has good potential, good quality but these small portions are disproportionate to the price.

You can't even go out smoking more often, people will complain. 2. the toilet is a transition or in the middle to another bar. Of course you think it belongs together? Then you shouldn't make two bars open to the public. Oh my God. Ridiculous. Not recommended. I can smoke & go to the toilet & etc. whenever I want wtf?

Found this while looking for a lunchtime snack and the breakfast menu had two very tasty vegan options. Gladly again, next time with Gin & Tojic

When I bought a muffin, there was a medium-length black hair on my plate. I found the service staff simply uncharming to deal with due to the addition of “that could happen.”

Very good food selection. Wide range of drinks (own gins), regional beers. Mainly regional and seasonal products are used. Pleasant atmosphere and very friendly staff, definitely worth a visit (reservation or calling in advance is recommended).

Great restaurant with good food. The Mediterranean tarte flambée I had was a hit! The staff are all very friendly too. The only tiny flaw was the salad dressing from the shaken lettuce. Based on my taste, it could have been a little more seasoned.

Very Hostile Environment. Yesterday evening as we are enjoying our drinks I waiter came and starting very roundly and loudly accusing us of smoking weed . That wasn’t the case but he insisted that we were the cause of that weird smell and he acted like a drill sergeant. That experience was awful and I can’t recommend this place.

Fancy an ice cream parlor? - a terrible failure: thin, lukewarm coffee with sprayed cream - certainly not a real treat, but quite expensive, €18 for two of these special creations. Try it and you'll feel it...

After five years I have to adjust my rating. This is primarily due to the price-performance ratio, which in my opinion is utopian, even if it were really only the best, most regional and most fairly paid products. Over €20 for a burger and a side of 1-2 forkfuls of oven-roasted vegetables and 2-3 pieces of purple potato. None of us were fed up with it. And then the taste of the burger is average at best (subjectively speaking, of course). The tarte flambées are still very tasty, but the pricing is no longer comprehensible there either. The situation is similar with drinks. I'm only referring to the evening menu, not breakfast. What is positive is that Zeit & Raum is now completely vegetarian and vegan. The service is also very friendly and helpful. Don't forget the student discount. Price-wise, I think 20% less would be reasonable for what you end up getting. And I don't say that out of greed or because I'm not willing to spend more money on good food. I would like to refer you to other reviews of mine. Cozy location in the middle of the old town. Great menu with a variety of dishes and a large selection of drinks. The staff is friendly and courteous. We like coming here.

I had the vegan “Zeiti im Glück” (picture 1) and was totally thrilled! Super tasty, plentiful and diverse. The Baba Ganoush is very tasty and simply great in combination with the grilled vegetables and spreads. The semolina porridge with rhubarb was so delicious that I would like to try it myself soon. Would come again and again to eat.

In Zeit & Raum you can sit very nicely outside and it is also very large inside. Unfortunately also a bit dark. I don't really think the dinner was that good. I don't think the tarte flambées are particularly special, but they are relatively expensive. I therefore somewhat regretted the recommendation from the waiter.

Always nice and friendly service, we come at least twice a month! Totally recommended for students.

The food and drinks were great, the service was outstanding and we have rarely been served so well.

We had very good vegetarian breakfast variations (summer girls and summer snacks), which tasted even better on the terrace. 😎 The people in service are very friendly, reliable and attentive. Highly recommended!

Previously (six months ago) the food was super delicious. Last time I was very disappointed. The tarte flambée was hardly topped. On the Rennes tarte flambée there was only a quarter of aubergine per piece and a piece of onion on the whole tarte flambée. Overloaded with cheese.

So that's what I call great! The service was brilliant the whole time, the food was great, sufficient and the price was ok. The way to the toilet is adventurous 😄 So really great!!!

Breakfast is so great!! I'm thrilled, prepared with flowers and a lot of love. Prices are a bit high, but you can definitely taste the quality. Once again a great morning with the best food and service! Small special requests such as the obligatory scrambled or fried eggs are served with a smile by the top service. Also top and completely ok is the seat reservation for a “deposit” via PayPal/credit card in advance for possible “no-shows”. The deposit was credited back 2 minutes after arrival. All in all, a perfect brunch in the best atmosphere.

The food here was very tasty. Unfortunately, my portion of “Alpenrausch” wasn’t all that filling. Unfortunately, I would have expected more for the price. The dishes from my companions (Joy Girl and Weidenglück) were more plentiful and also very tasty. All in all I thought it was good, but unfortunately I expected more for the price. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was also decent. However, the food is way too expensive for what it is. And I don’t understand the concept with the giant salad bowls, they make the tiny amount of salad you’re getting for almost 20€ seem even smaller and leave you all the more hungry for it.

Cocktails really delicious! Unfortunately there are NO snacks during the week… At the weekend there are nuts, but unfortunately they couldn't offer us anything at all.

Quite okay, but the food is nothing special - salad is almost just iceberg lettuce and everything is quite cheap, but very expensive..

My vegetarian breakfast included like a pound of cheese. Everything was delicious and well curated, except some of the breads were stale. My husband got avocado toast and it wasn't as good. Despite the fact that the menu called it both frisch and knusprig, it was neither, it was stale untoasted bread. The avo was fresh tho and well seasoned. Service was friendly and efficient.

The food and service are all great, but I think your prices have lost a healthy amount: Beer 5€ and burgers starting at 20€ would be expensive even in Munich.

I found the atmosphere inside and outside very nice, and the employees are also very nice. The tarte flambées are delicious and the vegan cheese is great! Unfortunately, the tarte flambées are quite expensive, so you need the big ones to fill you up. But then it quickly comes to 15-16€

Went there spontaneously today. The food was very good, just right, everyone can find something to eat there. The service was very friendly, nothing to complain about. The ambience is slightly different depending on where you sit. All in all, recommended and will come again.

Had dinner at Zeit+Raum for the first time yesterday. Everything was very tasty. We had a beetroot tartare as a starter and continued with a small tarte flambée and a punch with lentils and tofu. The homemade lemonade was also excellent. I can highly recommend it if you want to try out and enjoy vegetarian/vegan cuisine. Service is very friendly and attentive :)

It's a vegan/vegetarian restaurant, which is really great! The atmosphere is very nice and cozy, it has different corners so that it doesn't get too loud and you can definitely have a conversation in peace. The food is delicious, but in my opinion very expensive. For students there is 20% off everything. The service is friendly and attentive.

The furnishings are a bit dusty. Service was super nice and attentive. My quiche with salad was very tasty and plentiful. My companion's French tarte flambée was also very tasty. We will be back.

Grundsätzlich gab es kaum etwas auszusetzen. Wir wurden freundlich bedient, wenn auch das servierte Getränk nicht der Bestellung entsprach. Ich kenne das Lokal schon seit etlichen Jahren war aber ewig nicht mehr dort und wir sind mit einer anderen, sehr hungrigen Erwartung reingegangen. Fürs Frühstück waren wir leider zu spät dran. Der Flammkuchen war sehr lecker. Nettes, lockeres Lokal mit veganen und vegetarischen Gerichten.

Wirklich interessant und schön gemacht. Hatten nur einen Kaffee getrunken, somit kann ich das Essen nicht bewerten

Beim Betreten dieses Restaurants versteht man erstmal garnicht, wie viel Liebe im Detail alleine in der Deko und Einrichtung steckt. Dadurch ist das Ambiente ein echtes Erlebniss. Das Essen kommt dadurch keines Falls zu kurz, es sieht nicht nur kunstvoll aus, sondern schmeckt auch wunderbar. Eine top Empfehlung
