A great vegetarian restaurant, the dishes resemble German cuisine and are good. The atmosphere is very calm and the terrace is great. I recommend this vegetarian restaurant for a good time.

I can really recommend the restaurant with all my heart!! I (vegan) went there with my mother and her boyfriend (both non-vegan) and from the starter to the dessert, all 3 of us enjoyed it incredibly well!! The food came quickly and was just as delicious as it looked :P The atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxed, I especially liked the background music (I would like the playlist ;) ). The waitresses were also super friendly and accommodating!! Thanks for the great visit, I will definitely come back :D

Delicious vegan food in a relaxed, rustic atmosphere! I can only recommend the Buffalowings! I also thought the Schlutzkrapfen, schnitzel and gyros were great! My brother, who usually eats meat, really liked the burger! Of course not a bargain in terms of price, but still worth a visit! The portions are generous too :)

Beautiful location, great service and delicious vegan food (that even convinces meat eaters). The mousse is simply heavenly and the Pfanderl impresses me every time. The only negative aspect was that when it rained in the evening we had to find the way to the entrance because the path in the park was not lit. But the restaurant can't do anything about that 😉

First of all: we are vegan ourselves and love cooking. Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed with the winter food. Actually everything is fried, even the Kaiserschmarrn??? The red cabbage was so chunky, something like that works better with a little apple and more liquid (by the way, it doesn't necessarily have to end up on the plate). I can't (or can't) understand the thing about the toilet, since we're in Franconia. Price/performance was more of a “well” category for us. Everything is super heavy and sits in your stomach forever. Will try again in the summer with burgers and the like.

We went there spontaneously and got a seat upstairs because it was full downstairs. Which is absolutely fine, but it's more comfortable downstairs. I can only recommend going there and being served by the friendly staff and the food is worth at least one visit. The cocktails are also 👌🏻

We love this place! When asked where to go for vegan food? Then the answer is always Bodhi! A super enchanted house with a super cozy beer garden shows how it works without animal exploitation! Super tasty dishes, great staff in a super nice environment. Always happy again!

Great restaurant in a chic old town house with an adjacent beer garden. What convinced us here was the offer of German home cooking in a vegan version. It was really delicious and you didn't miss the meat in the slightest. The service and the incredibly nice and competent staff were also outstanding. If you want to try something different vegan cuisine, you've definitely come to the right place. We'd love to come back.

That was the worst restaurant visit of my life. I wanted to report grievances to the boss, who can only be reached by email. I asked for a phone call and was asked to write everything out. I did this with a lot of time and he never responded again! Guys, only go there if you want to see how a waiter reacts in a very annoyed manner to what is politely called a grievance. If you want to experience that the online menu promises dishes and prices that are different on the menu in the restaurant... to the detriment of the customer. If you want to experience that you then want to report this to the boss, he wants everything in writing and then, even when asked, he simply doesn't respond with a word. There is a really good alternative just a few hundred meters away. Also offers vegan cuisine. Beautiful, super tasty and super nice. Mentioning no names ;-) Our day trip to Nuremberg was ruined for us. We paid more than what was shown in the online map on the website. But the fact that a boss asks you to write it down for him and then doesn't respond says everything about customer friendliness.

It was our first time eating at Bodhi. In addition to the incredibly courteous service, we had 5 wonderfully tasting main courses, various delicious starters and of course we also had to try the desserts. I would particularly like to emphasize how good and unique we enjoyed each of the different main courses. Even my father and my brother (unfortunately non-vegans) were really enthusiastic. Even if you taste the schnitzel that it doesn't taste like a "normal" schnitzel, it leaves a special impression with its seasoning and texture. We were completely thrilled and would come again at any time! Furthermore, the price-performance ratio is absolutely appropriate for the quality of the food. We look forward to the next visit :)

Delicious food that no one had to die for, in a charming atmosphere.

I understand the idea behind the concept and why people are excited about a vegan pub. I like a low-processed, naturally vegan diet and fewer substitutes or plant-based dishes that mimic an animal-based dish. In terms of taste, the food was surprisingly okay, as it uses a lot of fat as a flavor carrier. Unfortunately, my food was correspondingly heavy in my stomach. The location is super beautiful and has been decorated with some provocative (animal-friendly) elements. Mainly more alternative people are guests. Every seat was occupied, the acoustics were bad and having a conversation was very tiring. The service was attentive and friendly, and in keeping with the Bodhi, it was also quite alternative.

Charming restaurant in the middle of a garden, all the food is vegan and replicates typical dishes. For starters we ordered the Buffalo Wings, delicious, main dishes Tempeh Roulades and Tyrol's.... Also wonderful. For dessert, the Mousse was very tasty and the texture was soft, we just didn't like the Germknodel, we didn't really know what it was and decided to take a chance, and it ended up being a cake that was too big and heavy for the end of a full meal and the flavor wasn't right. fantastic. Otherwise everything is excellent.

The food was just perfect. It was the best vegan meal I had as a vegan. In addition, the shop looks really great and the food gets to you extremely quickly so you don't have to wait long.

The menu is unimaginative and not adapted to the season. e.g. b. Winter dish with winter spices in the middle of summer? Apparently they want to win over or “convert” typical meat eaters to vegan dishes. There is a lack of independent vegetarian dishes that could be made vegan. For me there is not enough demand for culinary art and also for friendliness in service.

Hearty home-style vegan food - this cozy restaurant shows that this doesn't have to be a contradiction. The waitresses were super friendly and more than attentive, the food (we had roulades and duck) was divine. If you are in Nuremberg you should eat here!

I got the meal marked as “all time favourite” on the menu and it was not great. Especially the dumpling consistency was off. I asked about it and they said it’s because they get them pre-made as “grating the potatoes is too much work”.

Not a store for everyone. Unfortunately I was turned away today even though the store was still halfway full. The service has probably already been sent home and the boss has taken over.

Small tavern-style restaurant with many vegan alternatives to German cuisine. Nice, cozy atmosphere. We were there in the fall, but in the summer they also have a large outdoor area that looked very inviting with lots of different seating options and fairy lights.

I liked it very much. The food is freshly prepared and very tasty. Definitely worth the money. Maybe you could think about adding another sauce variant of the dark beer sauce to the side. The salad dressing was amazing. The service was impeccable. Fast, friendly, competent, attentive. I personally really liked the atmosphere. Others would call it rustic, sometimes strange. I think it's good. There are many details to discover in the room decoration. I just say "eat pussy, not animals" 😅

The place is visually beautiful and chic, but we were so insulted by our waiter that days later we are still having to talk about this unpleasant interaction. The food was nothing special (except Kaiserschmarrn). The dumplings and red cabbage were worse than you can get in a normal restaurant. Overall, a disappointing experience that we had hoped for better.

Yesterday I was at Bodhi for the second time and the food is really very good, the vegan yeast dumpling is definitely my favorite! Everyone is friendly and relaxed, the food comes quickly and there is a cozy atmosphere (feel-good factor).

There were 6 people (only 1 of them vegan), we tried everything on the menu and everyone enjoyed it. The Chili Cheeze Nuggets were delicious, but we all imagined something different by the name. The buffalo wings are spicy but very tasty! “Duck” roasts are super good, tempeh roulade is also amazing and burgers are always good anyway. The schnitzel was also good, but you shouldn't expect something vegan from the supermarket, otherwise you'll be a bit disappointed. We will come back and continue eating our way through the menu 🤘🏼

Special food, pretty good. Service… well… was ok… the reservation page is intimidating. On the whole it was okay, very interesting to see what you can conjure up vegan, but for me it's definitely a no to come back 😊

We were there on Sunday at 8:15 p.m. without a reservation and got a seat without any problems. We were able to order within a few minutes and the food was warm and delicious in front of us within 10 minutes. I really missed home cooking and am very happy to have finally found a fantastic vegan option.

Vegetarian eating is not my thing, why do you have to recreate duck breasts? There are so many good vegetarian dishes You can try it out 🤷🏽‍♂️

The bodhi is located in a magical little villa. The service staff are friendly, but sometimes a bit hasty. The food was simply delicious and the Cheezeburger was even able to satisfy my brother-in-law, who of course is never full of vegan food! The Kessspätzle were more reminiscent of Mac 'n Cheese, but the ragout was creamy and delicious, the two burgers were rich and the vegan schnitzel was deliciously seasoned. The vegan cheese was very surprising, as many cheese alternatives have an undesirable coconut aftertaste and this was not the case here, which speaks for the good quality. All in all, a successful evening for our two dogs, who were also welcome guests. We will definitely come back and thank the lovely team for a fun evening!

Food was poorly seasoned and quite bland. Starters were good, but overall not up to the reviews. This can be done better. And the garden is unfortunately very unkempt. So there is still a lot of room for improvement. Good luck!

Excellent food, nice quick service.

An excellent interpretation of German and international dishes in a vegan style. The switch is made particularly easy for meat eaters. Well-known dishes from the meat kitchen are made meat-free. It's particularly nice to sit on the terrace in a beautiful garden on warm days. An uncomplicated atmosphere.

An experience that wasn't just awesome, but a whole toolbox! Both the truffle cream soup and the crispy duck or steak - a vegan revelation. Rounded off by the best Kaiserschmarrn of my life and a super tasty yeast dumpling, I can only say: I'd be happy again! By the way, the service was quick and super friendly. :) The two of us ate three courses (shared starter) and drank four drinks. That brought us to over €100 in tips, which is of course a lot of money for one evening, but would in no way stop me from eating here again. Big compliments to the kitchen and team!

We were there for dinner and we found it very cozy (under the trees) and very nice. Service was top! There is a park next to it with a large playground.

What a great evening with fantastic food. I was traveling with three carnivores and everyone was enthusiastic about gyros and burgers. I had the soy crispy schnitzel with a really delicious red cabbage. We'll be back, I still have to try the duck!

Recommended vegan brewery. A bit hidden, but worth looking for ☺️ Super nice beer garden. Unfortunately it wasn't catered for (probably) due to unstable weather when we were there. It's quaint and somehow cozy inside, but a bit too stuffy and dark for my taste.

First vegetarian restaurant that I've experienced in Germany as an Asian. Overall I would say is a great choice made by a colleague. We had beer, chicken wings, chicken burger, salad, mushroom with dumplings inside the cosy interior of the restaurant. Food is nice, good environment to eat & talk but if you have a big group, should make advance booking.. lots of people on the day we were here.

We are excited. Stay until we can make dessert too.

A heart for non-vegans too! The vegan Kaiserschmarrn tastes very good even for a non-vegan palate. I couldn't notice any difference in taste compared to a conventional Kaiserschmarrn. The cardboard aftertaste that is generally typical of vegan dishes is also not present here. The apple compote served with it also tastes very good. In terms of quantity, however, it was a bit meager. I therefore recommend ordering a double amount of apple compote right from the start.

Nice restaurant, large and warm, browns and teds, tables a bit wobbly but chairs comfortable. Can talk and still hear each other at the table. Staff very helpful and patient. The deck cabbage and potato vegan meal was very tasty and well textured. The price is a bit elevated overall. Overall, good menu for vegetarians and vegans.

We wanted to have an aperitif outdoors around 5:30 p.m. Although there were enough free seats, the rather non-committal waiter insisted that we go to the restaurant. We gave up on that.

Because of the many positive reviews, we ate there during our visit to Nuremberg and had a delicious, cozy evening at Bodhi. Everyone is sure to find something on the menu that they like or would like to try. The homemade lemonades are also highly recommended. We shared a starter and then I had the lupine wild mushroom ragout with dumplings, which was very tasty, but unfortunately without lupins. When we brought this up, we were told that the lupins were cut very small and therefore couldn't be distinguished from the mushrooms...?! Well, I'll leave it at that for now, it was still delicious. My partner had the crispy steak with red cabbage and dumplings. The atmosphere in the restaurant was really nice and the service was friendly and pleasant. In summer you can sit outside in a very beautiful garden.

Hey dear Bodhi team. Yesterday I went to dinner with my group of 10 people. We even had a private area upstairs which was very cool. The food was super tasty and something special. The alternatives were well chosen and everyone had the opportunity to find something. The service was also great and the atmosphere and choice of music matched the ambience. I went there for dinner with my two children and can recommend it to anyone who misses typical classic dishes as a vegan. The duck with red cabbage in particular is a poem, but the burgers were also incredibly tasty! Be sure to reserve in advance, otherwise you may not get a seat. But it's definitely worth it!

Just great! Apart from the really delicious food, you also have to mention the absolutely authentic service! Something so sweet and open-hearted. And even if you are very hungry, highly recommended. The food (starter) was there within 10 minutes, the main course came quickly. 9/10 (one point open, otherwise you'll be left standing) Come back❤️

Went there for the first time today and had trouble deciding because all the dishes sounded so delicious! Ultimately decided on "duck" (seitan) and bodhipfanderl, each with dumpling, dark beer sauce and red cabbage - both dishes extremely delicious! The desserts are also highly recommended; yeast dumplings and chocolate mousse rounded off the evening perfectly. Very friendly service and cozy atmosphere, we will definitely come back and try the rest of the menu :D

I was here for the first time and was really impressed. All the food here is VEGAN. I ordered the Bodhi Panderl and my friend the duck. Both were very tasty. The crispy steaks at Pfanderl were seasoned with various spices, but in the end the aftertaste was too strong for me. I asked what spice it could be and it could be the smoked salt. I still found it very tasty. That's a matter of taste. The sauce, red cabbage and the napkin dumplings were top. We got the napkin dumplings with the dishes for an additional charge of €2, as both dishes contain normal dumplings. The entire meal was great. The price was a little high for me and the extra charge for the dumplings was a shame even if it was an extra request. The prices are still similar to meat in a pub. Of course, I don't know what the costs are and it's homemade, so it justifies the price for individual dishes. It's just a shame that you can't afford the good food very often. But I would like to come back and try more dishes.

I love the atmosphere at Bodhi. Staff and guests are extremely relaxed and friendly. The food is delicious and the portions are big enough to fill you up. The outdoor area is absolutely great and the indoor area is also very comfortable to sit in. The five stars are more than appropriate here!

After the 4th reservation request it finally worked. The anticipation of the visit was correspondingly great. And it was worth it. Great atmosphere and very tasty food. I'm currently vegan and found it very pleasant to be able to order everything from the menu. I had the schnitzel and was absolutely thrilled. My friend had a tempeh burger and it was also very tasty. The only downside is that nowadays you have to factor in up to €80 (including tip) for two people, but I can't blame Bodhi for that. Inflation, personnel costs, energy costs and expensive purchasing. Unfortunately, that's just how it is. We'll definitely be back and are looking forward to the beer garden!

We were there for the first time yesterday. The food was incredibly delicious! It's a little more expensive, but definitely worth the money. The sauce for the Pfanderl and the tzatziki could have used a little more spice - otherwise great! The napkin dumplings, the Pfanderl and the gyros were a dream and incredibly tasty. The portions are sufficient and the waitresses are very friendly. As an improvement, we would only like to point out that you could add the ingredients to the menu if necessary, e.g. what the gyros, the schnitzel, etc. are made of, so that the selection is easier for allergy sufferers and you don't have to ask the waitress and then if necessary. change your mind. We would definitely like to come back!
