Great food, an incredibly large selection. Great service – incredibly friendly and fast. Incredibly loving and meticulously arranged.

Update 08/2025 We were there again, had a very good meal again, but this time there is one major criticism: the male waitress (August 20, 2025, in the evening)—sorry, he's completely unacceptable, sometimes with such rude replies when taking your order. It spoils the delicious meal, a real shame... Considering coming back again?! We absolutely had to try it back home. It was impressive across the board👍😃 (12/2023)

It's a really cool idea to offer classic German cuisine in a vegan version, but we found the duck to be absolutely tasteless. The portion wasn't particularly large, and the sauce unfortunately tasted of nothing, not even remotely like a delicious gravy. Besides, we think €24.50 is simply too expensive. What a shame!

Warm, friendly, and attentive service. The mushroom dish was incredibly delicious. The reinterpretation of Kaiserschmarrn seemed rather unusual at first glance—but was all the more delicious.

The food was really good, but unfortunately the service was really rude. There were a few communication issues, which aren't a big deal, but right from the start, we were greeted with a truly over-the-top attitude. It continued until we weren't asked if we wanted dessert or another drink. After we pointed out a service issue to the waiter, they basically just complained about their colleagues and didn't solve the problem directly. I paid over €90 for an evening that was too short and made me extremely annoyed. Very sad.

Four weeks ago, we went to dinner on Saturday evening. The waiter served the food in his undershirt! That's completely unacceptable. The prices are at the upper limit.

First of all: We often cook vegan food ourselves and enjoy this cuisine. Our visit began with us not being seated despite having a reservation. We were seated on a beer bench, with the comment that other guests might be seated. Why the reservation, then, I wonder? Our order was taken relatively quickly. The appetizer arrived after 30 minutes. It was very good. The main course took another 1.5 hours to arrive. We ordered two roast dishes and were very disappointed. The dumpling was rubbery and completely dense. The red cabbage was completely overcooked, and the gravy had no flavor. The meat alternative was okay, it must be said. The poor preparation of the dishes was excused with "the chef is on vacation." Sounds plausible to me, because it tasted good. The evening cost us just under €70 for the two of us and was a complete disaster. I will definitely not see the chef return from vacation and will not be a guest again. I give it two stars for the lovely beer garden and the good starter.

Unfortunately, we didn't see that we were being seated... unfortunately, we were punished by not being served. Until we asked for tickets and were rudely informed that we weren't allowed to sit down ourselves... Why don't you put the sign up so it's visible from every entrance? What a shame about such a beautiful location. Both waitresses were very unfriendly.

I'm absolutely thrilled! The food tastes amazing, the ambiance is perfect, and the service is incredibly friendly. The portions are relatively small, but that meant we were able to try the desserts :) Right next door is a playground for the kids to run around in.

We were there with a group and were initially greeted with a rather irritated welcome. Then there was another waitress who was incredibly nice and made up for it. Now for the most important thing: the food: This vegan duck was to die for. The rest of the food at the table was also top-notch vegan. A purely vegan restaurant is simply a great idea, especially with such a wide selection. Yummieee 👌 Now just a little bit of work on the friendliness of the staff, and everything would be 100% perfect 😉

The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere. The food wasn't bad either; we had four different dishes and none of them disappointed. However, I have to say the prices were a bit high for the portions. The service was very friendly, though.

I had the Käsespatzen (cheese spaetzle), which was also good, but felt completely lacking in salt and pepper. I tried the crispy schnitzel at a friend's house, which tasted similarly lightly seasoned. The side salad, however, was really delicious. There was no dessert, the Kaiserschmarrn (smothered pancakes) took half an hour to prepare, and they were out of yeast dumplings. But the food itself was very tasty, and I'd gladly come back to try the menu. The main reason for the 3-star rating was the fact that a few members of our group ordered appetizers, which meant we all had to wait about an hour for our actual food. I didn't find that ideal.

A truly lovely restaurant. I've never had vegan roast duck in a restaurant before. Even the Wiener schnitzel exceeded my expectations. The service is super friendly and accommodating. We were able to drop in spontaneously. The ambiance is very nice, right in the countryside. Hopefully, we'll be back in the area soon and stop by again. ♥️

Very tasty food, even if you're not a die-hard vegan/vegetarian. The garden is super pleasant in the summer.

The schnitzel was sadly not much. As shown in the picture- half of the dish is salad.. to pricy for me. We were still hungry. Even the vegan duck was not that much. It was to dark in my opinion (the lights), but the staff was really nice 😊

A perfectly solid place with delicious food and excellent service. It really couldn't be better. Despite not having a reservation, we still got a seat and barely had to wait. The pan with the crispy steak was simply delicious, the dumplings were excellent, and the beer sauce was just as it should be. The restaurant is lovely, and the garden is quiet and pretty.

I visited Bodhi in July 2025. The menu offers a great selection of vegan dishes. The food was excellent, and the staff was friendly. The beer garden is quietly located in the countryside. I'll definitely be back.

A very nice, cozy outdoor area with fairy lights. The food is delicious; we had schnitzel, chicken tenders, and roulades. Sure, it doesn't taste exactly like the meat version, but that should be obvious. It's definitely cool to have a vegan option in the middle of Nuremberg.

We felt very comfortable in Bodhi's beautiful garden. The waitress was very friendly, and the food was excellent, and we didn't have to wait long. We had the schnitzel burger and the duck, and both were delicious.

Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. We had reserved a table the day before using the online form, but didn't receive a cancellation until around 11 p.m. When we asked if there might be a table available later, we were told there was a space available starting at 9 p.m. Our reservation confirmation remained unanswered. We called the next day to be sure – we were met by a very rude employee (Vanessa), which seriously dampened our anticipation. In the restaurant itself, the service was consistently unfriendly and disinterested. Our waitress (a woman with light brown hair) was completely listless, seemed annoyed, and was also noticeably rude to the guests at neighboring tables. The dessert, which we had ordered right at the beginning, didn't arrive until 40 minutes after the main course – despite asking and without an apology. We were only in the city for one day and were really looking forward to the visit – not least because of the good reviews we had seen about Bodhi in Munich.

The food was delicious. The portions were large, and I don't think the prices are excessive. For two people, it was about €60 per person for a starter, main course, and two drinks. So, for a two-course meal, it was €30 per person. :-D We found the service very friendly and welcoming. We immediately felt like we were in good hands. Our orders arrived very quickly, too. We'd love to come back here again.

I celebrated my birthday here with my family. There were 16 of us, and only my husband, son, and I are vegan. Everyone enjoyed the food, and the family was pleasantly surprised by how good all the dishes were. The value for money is just right for me. The service was fantastic and super friendly! Beautiful beer garden in the heart of Nuremberg's northern district. Very friendly and attentive staff. Our food arrived very quickly. Unfortunately, it was only moderately warm, but it still tasted very good! A tip for the staff: take a few minutes to serve hot dishes instead. 😉 We're already looking forward to our next visit.

The food is fantastic! The prices are a bit higher, but that's understandably due to the high-quality vegan substitutes. Delicious cocktails like the vegan Pina Colada are also available! A cozy pub atmosphere. Be sure to reserve early. We'll be happy to come back whenever we want something special :)

Vegan restaurant in Nuremberg. Located just outside the city center in the Archivpark (Archive Park). The restaurant has a lovely outdoor seating area, as well as indoor seating. The staff was friendly. The food was delicious and served hot. The value for money is absolutely excellent.

This restaurant had been on our list for a while, and today we took advantage of the good weather and visited the beer garden. The outdoor seating is lovely, surrounded by greenery under the trees. The staff were very friendly, but unfortunately, we weren't asked if we wanted another drink or to order something; there's definitely room for improvement there. The reason for our visit was the food, which didn't completely impress us. It was good, but nothing more. The dumpling unfortunately didn't taste fresh, and the sauce was very thick and extremely oily. The entire dish was also only lukewarm. For dessert, we had the Kaiserschmarren (smothered pancakes), which was very dense and not very fluffy. Unfortunately, we also had a hair baked into it. Overall, the prices are reasonable (duck €22, Kaiserschmarren €12), which, for me, doesn't really match the quality. It's worth trying, but I wouldn't have to go back right away.

Amazing place to get real vegan Bavarian food! I had the Wiener Schnitzel and the Kaiserschmarrn. The Kaiserschmarrn was a little dry and not as fluffy as I expected, but overall I really enjoyed it. The drinks were also very good — even though it’s a bit on the pricey side.

Great, very friendly, and the food was great. We had a burger and the pan-fried dish (the sauce was a bit artificial), both were excellent.

We visited twice in total. We were only moderately impressed the first time, but the gyros and Kaiserschmarrn were enough to warrant a second try. First of all: The prices are absolutely unjustified! You could eat at that price level in a 4-star superior hotel (just experienced that recently), and if you choose a good one, you'll get a great vegan selection there too. The food at Bodhi Nuremberg was generally okay in terms of taste. Nothing special, and served so quickly that it could only have come warmed up from the microwave. For over €20, I especially don't want to have to desperately search for two small, thin pieces of fillet that immediately melt in your mouth in the lupin fillet and wild mushroom ragout. It also doesn't speak well for the dish when, upon questioning, the server explains that I probably won't even notice the lupin fillet pieces among the mushrooms. I don't like hair in the salad or lettuce pieces floating in my drink either. The first time, we were practically alone in the dining room, and the last time, we were squeezed in at the center table. It's not cozy when you constantly have to lean to the side to let other guests or service staff through. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it, and I don't understand the hype. It could be a cozy and delicious concept, but it's not well executed. It's a shame.

A very nice place and a great opportunity for vegans to enjoy German home cooking. The food was excellent (I was particularly impressed by the vegan Kaiserschmarrn), but some of the portions could be a bit larger for the price.

Nice beer garden and nice service. Unfortunately the food is so-so. In principle, it was nice to eat the “classic beer garden specialties” as a vegan, but it didn’t really taste good. Then prefer creative vegan cuisine! The beer wasn't anything special either. Who imports Ulm beer to Middle Franconia?

Came because of the good reviews. The starters were good, the main courses were unfortunately consistently bad. Nice atmosphere and nice staff.

The good thing to start with: Service is nice and fast. Beer selection ok but not local: Schanzenbräu would be good. The food was below average. Unfortunately it's often a bit empty in terms of taste.

We came from Belgium to visit Nurnberg. As vegetarians, we wanted to eat something local and vegetarian. This is the best thing we ate there. Everything was perfect, this food was something what we missed as vegetarians. A must to visit there. The place is cozy and the service is perfect. Love how the servers are cozy too in this place, feels like home. Thank you for this special experience, definitly recommend. We'll come back and also leave a big tip another time.

Food and service good. Schlutzkrapfen and the Pfanderl were good. Melon iced tea had a bit of an artificial taste.

We were guests at Bodhi for the second time and were very impressed again. The ambience, the location and the service couldn't be better. As always, the food was in a class of its own. No matter what you choose from the great menu, it tastes great. The inn is definitely always worth a visit.

The beer garden is very nice, quiet and comfortable. Service was super friendly and attentive. The food was excellent, well seasoned and the portion size was perfect. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back!

We had the duck, the schnitzel burger, the buffalo wings and fries. Everything was super tasty, well seasoned and really hearty. I'm looking forward to being able to sit outside and try the other dishes when the temperatures are warmer and the weather is good.

I was there for the second time this week and it was delicious again! I always almost can't decide because everything sounds so delicious. I think the atmosphere in the inner courtyard in particular is very nice, but I also really liked the inside. The service was great both times and I can really recommend it to everyone - especially because everything is vegan!

Finally Bodhi doesn't just exist in Munich. Simply delicious food👍🤜🍻

Unfortunately, I didn't like my tempeh burger. I usually really like anything with tempeh, but the burger was somehow very sour and the texture wasn't firm enough for me. Unfortunately, I can't rate any of the other dishes. The service was super friendly and pleasant, and the location and ambiance are top-notch.

Vegan, innovative “as if meat” dishes such as schnitzels, burgers etc. that taste very good, not necessarily like “real” meat, but that doesn’t have to be the case, right? Very quiet, classy touch, not exactly cheap.

Went to Bodhi for the first time and really landed in seventh vegan heaven! The restaurant is beautifully furnished and really cozy. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, just an absolute dream! The food was just as impressive as we expected :D We ate our way through the menu and everything was delicious! But the absolute blast was really the duck! So crunchy, and definitely not recognizable as vegan, hats off to you at this point! The drinks menu is also well thought out and varied. I especially recommend the hot white chocolate 🤤 Overall, I can only warmly recommend Bodhi whether you are vegan or not! 🩷

When we saw the outside of the store for the first time, we immediately fell in love. Everything seems as if time has stood still and has its own charm. The employees seem very friendly. Not fake, overly friendly, but just right. The food was really, really good and really impressed me. All in all I can only say that the 1 1/2 hour journey was worth it.

I don't eat a purely vegetarian or vegan diet, but Bodhi once again amazed me and showed me how delicious and varied a meat-free diet can be. I had the salad with gyros and my girlfriend had the classic Bodhi Pfannderl. Both extremely tasty and rich. Plus a fresh light beer on tap. Unfortunately there was no room for dessert 🥲 We'll definitely be back soon 🤤

This whole place is beautiful, and the staff very friendly. We had the ragout, roasted duck, and truffle soup. All were delicious, although a bit too peppery for my taste, and the duck could have been crispier.

A great vegetarian restaurant, the dishes resemble German cuisine and are good. The atmosphere is very calm and the terrace is great. I recommend this vegetarian restaurant for a good time.

I can really recommend the restaurant with all my heart!! I (vegan) went there with my mother and her boyfriend (both non-vegan) and from the starter to the dessert, all 3 of us enjoyed it incredibly well!! The food came quickly and was just as delicious as it looked :P The atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxed, I especially liked the background music (I would like the playlist ;) ). The waitresses were also super friendly and accommodating!! Thanks for the great visit, I will definitely come back :D

Delicious vegan food in a relaxed, rustic atmosphere! I can only recommend the Buffalowings! I also thought the Schlutzkrapfen, schnitzel and gyros were great! My brother, who usually eats meat, really liked the burger! Of course not a bargain in terms of price, but still worth a visit! The portions are generous too :)

Beautiful location, great service and delicious vegan food (that even convinces meat eaters). The mousse is simply heavenly and the Pfanderl impresses me every time. The only negative aspect was that when it rained in the evening we had to find the way to the entrance because the path in the park was not lit. But the restaurant can't do anything about that 😉

The Bodhi in Nuremberg is an absolute highlight! The vegan food impresses not only with its creativity and taste, but also with the selection of dishes that are reminiscent of real traditional home cooking - the dumplings in particular are a dream! Added to this is the incredibly kind and attentive waiter, who made the visit a completely successful experience. Anyone looking for vegan cuisine with a touch of tradition will be thrilled here. First of all: we are vegan ourselves and love cooking. Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed with the winter food. Actually everything is fried, even the Kaiserschmarrn??? The red cabbage was so chunky, something like that works better with a little apple and more liquid (by the way, it doesn't necessarily have to end up on the plate). I can't (or can't) understand the thing about the toilet, since we're in Franconia. Price/performance was more of a “well” category for us. Everything is super heavy and sits in your stomach forever. Will try again in the summer with burgers and the like.

We went there spontaneously and got a seat upstairs because it was full downstairs. Which is absolutely fine, but it's more comfortable downstairs. I can only recommend going there and being served by the friendly staff and the food is worth at least one visit. The cocktails are also 👌🏻

We love this place! When asked where to go for vegan food? Then the answer is always Bodhi! A super enchanted house with a super cozy beer garden shows how it works without animal exploitation! Super tasty dishes, great staff in a super nice environment. Always happy again!
