Yuyumi in München

War ganz okay, aber meiner Meinung nach als jemand der öfter nach Südkorea geht, nicht ganz original koreanisch. Leider sehr lautes Ambiente da die Tische nahe beieinander stehen. Freundlicher Service.

Meine Begleitung und ich waren zum ersten Mal im Yuyumi und es war großartig. Das Essen fantastisch, der Service sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und das Alles in einem sehr schönen Ambiente. Wir werden auf alle Fälle wieder kommen.

Mein neuester Geheimtipp ;) der hoffentlich nicht lange geheim bleibt. Unser Besuch im Yuyumi hat sich als absoluter Glücksgriff herausgestellt. Das Essen war derart vorzüglich - mir fehlten schlichtweg die Worte. Wir gehen gerne asiatisch essen, egal ob vietnamesisch, indisch, afghanisch, thailändisch, japanisch, indonesisch, mongolisch oder chinesisch - und nun eben auch koreanisch. Mit all den hoch gepriesenen Restaurants in München kann das Yuyumi von der Qualität und vor allem auch dem Geschmacklichen nicht nur mithalten - es übertrifft dabei sogar manch hochpreisige Szene-Lokale (selbst im gleichen Viertel). Ich kann nur sagen - ich habe oft wirklich gut gegessen, und war überrascht, dass es noch eine Steigerung geben kann. Wir hatten ein Gericht mit Ente und ein veganes mit Aubergine - beides war hervorragend. Der Service war zudem super freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer zur Stelle. Die kleinen Räume sind überschaubar, die Einrichtung ist liebevoll gestaltet - der Speiseraum selber ist nicht spektakulär, mit dem grossen Spiegel und dem Blick auf die grosse Deckenbeleuchtung sowie die ansprechend schön gestaltete Bar fehlt jedoch nicht wirklich viel. Und spätestens wenn das Essen auf dem Tisch steht, vergisst man alles andere um einen herum. Immer wieder von Herzen gerne

Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen so groß, dass wir einen Teil einpacken ließen. Das Service war sehr freundlich und schnell, allerdings war das Lokal noch ziemlich leer, da wir gleich nach dem Aufmachen ankamen. Das Ambiente hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen.

Das Essen ist sehr gut. Der Laden ist sehr voll, daher kann es sehr laut sein. Hauptkritikpunkt: Die Preise sind zu hoch, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt nicht.

Wir waren zu dritt spontan im Yuyumi, haben dann bei den netten Bedienungen einen schönen Tisch ergattern können. Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt, so stellt man sich authentisches koreanisches Essen vor. Kritikpunkte sind definitiv die (zu) hohe(n) Preis(e) der Gerichte, sowie manchmal eine etwas längere Wartezeit bei den Getränken und allgemein im Service! Sonst alles in allem kommen wir gerne wieder! :)

Es ist ein sehr gutes koreanisches Restaurant. Das Personal war freundlich, kompetent und sehr reaktionsschnell. Die Musik war nicht zu laut, sodass wir uns problemlos unterhalten konnten, ohne schreien zu müssen. Das Essen ist köstlich und nicht zu teuer. Ich würde Bibimbap mit Rindfleisch empfehlen. Es ist ratsam, einen Tisch zu reservieren.

Das Yuyumi ist ein schönes Restaurant mit authentischem koreanischen Essen. Sehr lecker. Essen und Einrichtung sind auch optisch sehr ansprechend. Ich komme trotzdem gerne wieder, das gute Essen gleicht das wieder aus.

Das Essen in diesem Lokal ist wirklich hervorragend – geschmacklich top. Man merkt sofort, dass hier Wert auf Qualität gelegt wird. Der Service hat zu Beginn etwas auf sich warten lassen, was den ersten Eindruck leicht getrübt hat. Allerdings waren die Mitarbeiter sehr höflich, aufmerksam und bemüht, sodass sich das schnell wieder relativiert hat. Insgesamt ein sehr empfehlenswertes Lokal, vor allem wegen des Essens. Mit etwas Geduld zu Beginn wird man hier definitiv belohnt.

Ich musste diese Bewertung mit einem anderen Google-Konto veröffentlichen, da das Restaurant negative Bewertungen aktiv löscht und sie als Verleumdung bezeichnet. Das Essen ist schlecht und konstruktive Kritik wird nicht akzeptiert. Meine ursprüngliche Bewertung habe ich auf einen Stern reduziert. Enttäuschend. Dieses Restaurant ist teuer, sehr teuer, daher erwartet man hochwertige Zutaten. Dem ist aber nicht so. Das Fleisch für die Bulgogi-Gerichte ist von sehr schlechter Qualität, zäh und fettig und sieht aus wie Knorpel. Als wir gefragt wurden, ob uns das Essen geschmeckt hat, waren wir ehrlich und haben das Problem gemeldet. Wir zeigten einige Fleischstücke, die offensichtlich ungenießbar waren, was aber völlig ignoriert wurde. Das Personal stellt zwar die Frage, scheint aber nicht wirklich an Feedback interessiert zu sein. Auch beim Bezahlen wurde dies nicht erwähnt. Außerdem werden keine Beilagen (Banchan) angeboten, die in so gut wie jedem koreanischen Restaurant weltweit serviert werden. Nur das gebratene Hähnchen war gut. Wobei man nicht sagen kann, ob das Fleisch von besserer Qualität war. Teuer, schlechte Qualität, desinteressiertes Personal – gehen Sie lieber woanders hin. Wir haben 80 € für zwei Personen bezahlt, und für diesen Preis findet man in München deutlich Besseres.

Das sollte definitiv günstiger sein. Das Bibimbap mit Hühnchen und Rindfleisch war gut, aber etwas trocken und hatte zu wenig Soße. Die Portion war groß, aber es war wenig Fleisch drin. Die gedämpften Mandu waren ausgezeichnet! Die hausgemachte Limonade war auch lecker. Die Meinungen zur Panna Cotta gingen auseinander; einige von uns fanden sie zu süß. Das Lokal ist schön eingerichtet und alles ist sauber. Da viele Lieferbestellungen eingehen, kann der Service etwas chaotisch sein. Insgesamt ist es ein gutes Restaurant; ich würde wieder hingehen. Die Preise sind aber definitiv zu hoch.

Der Laden ist von Innen super schön und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir wurden von Anfang an sehr nett empfangen und das zog sich über den ganzen Aufenthalt, das Personal war wirklich sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war ebenfalls extrem lecker und die Portionen waren wirklich groß. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist wirklich sehr gut. Wir hatten einen Tisch reserviert aber das wäre an diesem Tag nicht unbedingt notwendig gewesen. Ich empfehle das Restaurant auf jeden Fall weiter und komme gerne wieder. :)

Das Essen war mittelmäßig. Fünf Personen aßen nur Eintopf und Reis ohne Beilagen, und es kostete 190 Euro. 14 % Trinkgeld sind üblich.

Ich war gerade 08.02.2026 mit meinem Mitarbeiter hier und muessen gestehen, es war alles perfekt. vom Essen ueber die zwei wirklich netten Kellnerinnen bis hin zum Ambiente hat alles gestimmt. Wenn wir wieder beruflich hier in der Ecke sind werden wir bestimmt wieder kommen. Der Preis war ebenfalls sehr akzeptablel fuer das was wir bestellt haben.

Essen, vorallem das spicy Fleisch war super. Preise haben es in sich.

Das Kimchi-Jjigae war erstklassig. Die Atmosphäre war entspannt. Der Service war hervorragend! Ich habe seit meiner Abreise aus Korea kein besseres koreanisches Essen mehr gegessen. Dieses Restaurant weckt in mir die Sehnsucht nach dem Essen und der Kultur Koreas.

Essen war gut. Das Lokal ist eher klein. Es hat etwas gedauert bis jemand kam um die Bestellung aufzunehmen. Essen kam dann aber flott.

Etwas enttäuschend. Der Restaurant ist am Samstag voll aber mit Reservierung kommt mann trotzdem klar. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und schnell. Das Essen ist es aber nicht wirklich Wert. Es handelt sich um Reis mit einfache Gemüse und günstiges Fleisch ( Hähnchen mit Restknochen drin bei mir). Meine Frau hat den Signature Cocktail bestellt und könnte es nicht zu Ende trinken. Es hat ähnlich geschmeckt wie ein Mr Freeze cola.... Also für den Preis ist definitiv Luft nach oben.

Wir waren gestern als Familie bei Yuyumi Haidhausen und hatten einen wunderbaren Abend. Schon beim Betreten beeindruckt das stilvolle, moderne Ambiente. Das Essen war frisch, heiß und perfekt gewürzt, mit großer Auswahl für Vegetarier und Fleischliebhaber. Das koreanische Fried Chicken ist ein echtes Highlight. Der Service war schnell, sehr freundlich und aufmerksam . Vorspeisen und Gemüse waren knackig und liebevoll zubereitet . Fazit: Man findet hier eine gemütliche Atmosphäre, aromatisches Speisen und eine hervorragende Qualität. Wir kommen gern wieder!

Das Essen ist gut und der Service aufmerksam. Allerdings hat mich kein Gericht wirklich überzeugt. Ich würde den Meeresfrüchtepfannkuchen nicht empfehlen. Er ist etwas fettig, und leider habe ich bisher noch kein koreanisches Restaurant gefunden, das wirklich gute Meeresfrüchtepfannkuchen zubereitet.

Ich habe kürzlich hier das authentische Bibimbap probiert, und obwohl das Essen an sich wirklich gut war, fand ich die Preise für das Gebotene recht hoch. Das Bibimbap bestand aus frischen Zutaten, gut gewürztem Gemüse und einer ausgewogenen Soße, die ihm einen authentisch koreanischen Geschmack verlieh. Auch die Präsentation war ansprechend, und die Portion war ausreichend. Angesichts der Einfachheit des Gerichts und der Gesamtportion erschien mir der Preis im Vergleich zu anderen koreanischen Restaurants, die ich besucht habe, jedoch etwas hoch. Die Qualität war definitiv gegeben, aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis könnte verbessert werden. Wenn Sie Bibimbap probieren möchten, das dem traditionellen koreanischen Geschmack nahekommt, ist dieses Restaurant eine gute Wahl. Stellen Sie sich nur darauf ein, etwas mehr auszugeben als erwartet. Insgesamt gutes Essen, aber nicht die günstigste Option.

The "Korean BBQ" unfortunately had nothing Korean about it. It was more like a Chinese-style wok dish. The vegetables seemed to have been frozen, and the beef was very sinewy. A shame, because the service was friendly nonetheless. The place was crowded and noisy. Too expensive.

I'm really disappointed with this restaurant, which advertises Korean BBQ, but it's not really Korean BBQ at all. It's just a simple wok dish, a kind of "Chinese hotpot Marmite"—tasteless, with frozen instead of fresh vegetables, and very expensive to boot. The restaurant is very noisy; better soundproofing is definitely needed. However, the decor is nice and the staff are friendly.

Das Essen war vom Geschmack her in Ordnung. Was für ein koreanisches Restaurant allerdings sehr ungewöhnlich ist, sind die extra Kosten für eine Beilage in Höhe von 7,50 Euro. Normalerweise bekommt man verschiedene Beilagen zum Gericht dazu. Es gibt definitiv bessere koreanische Restaurants, die für den Preis oder sogar einen geringeren Preis mehr an Qualität und Beilagen bieten.

We went to Yuyumi today. The food was okay, but unfortunately, if you have a reservation for 18:00, you're asked to leave at 19:30, hence the two-star deduction. It seems negative reviews often disappear here, which is why people upload their receipts – sad.

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist nicht besonders gut. Wir hatten Bibimbap, Teriyaki-Nudeln und Banchan. Die Hauptgerichte schmeckten gut und die Portionen waren auch gut, aber die Banchan waren alle sehr fad. Mit 15 € für drei Banchan ist das unglaublich überteuert. Der Service war freundlich, die Kellnerin schenkte uns jedoch wenig Aufmerksamkeit, da sie ständig auf ihr Handy schaute (wir mussten sie fast anrempeln, um zu bestellen). Nachdem wir bestellt hatten, kamen Essen und Getränke aber recht schnell.

We waited for ~30min before all dishes were ready, but unfortunately it’s way below our expectation. We ordered Jjigae but the kitchen mistakenly made us Udon. Also the €20+ bibimbap was made of frozen premade vegetables, even no egg inside. We two spent €78, with 6 pieces of fried chicken, Udon “Jjigae” and the so called “bibimbap”. Totally not worth it.

The price is completely overpriced. Communication within the team regarding reordering side dishes is unclear, and the price is completely unjustified for the quality.

Very tasty Korean food A bit pricey, but definitely worth it!

Visited several times between July 2022 and July 2023: The quality and service have declined significantly; unfortunately, the food here is now only below average. One of the Yuyumi specials - the duck: The portions are only half the size they used to be, and the duck is dry. The bibimbap consists mostly of cold rice. The worst part is the unfriendly and poor service - even with a reservation two weeks in advance, you have to sit in the freezing cold entrance area. I thought Yuyumi in Haidhausen was a good Korean restaurant in Munich, but that's unfortunately not the case. The many other negative reviews show that others have also had negative experiences in Haidhausen. The high-quality, very good recommendations are irritating; they seem artificial. Update: The restaurant handles criticism as follows: instead of improving service, authenticity, and quality, the restaurant repeatedly, but unsuccessfully, tried to have my review deleted by Google.

We had a starter, main course, and dessert and were very impressed with everything. We had to wait a bit for our food, but the taste more than made up for it.

The food and customer service is exceptional. The signature fried rice dish was incredibly flavorful, with a perfect balance of savory, sweet, and umami. They also have a wide variety of drinks. Be prepared for a slightly longer waiting time. However, the quality of the food more than justifies the extra few minutes. It is evident the dishes are prepared carefully rather than rushed. Highly recommended.

Great service and delicious food, a truly memorable experience at Yuyumi. We tried various mandu dishes as starters, and they were all delicious. For the main course, we tried the crispy duck and the udon noodles—absolutely delicious!

A small, unpretentious restaurant with good service. The food we ate there was very good. Unfortunately, the bibimbab we took with us wasn't well seasoned. It didn't come with a proper sauce, and the traditional fried egg on top was missing, so it was below average.

The food was delicious and authentic, and the service was friendly. There's a small outdoor area, right by the street, but it's very quiet and cozy. Unfortunately, the prices were very high. We've seen other Korean restaurants where banchan comes with the food, but here you have to pay extra for it. We also had a movhi for dessert, which didn't taste homemade but rather defrosted, and was simply very expensive for two bites. Overall, it was excellent, and we were very satisfied, but unfortunately, the high prices were a small minus for us.

Disappointing value for money and unclear communication We were two people at Yuyumi Haidhausen and were looking forward to the "Yuyumi BBQ Ganjang Chicken" for two people. The description on the menu sounded like a special experience with tableside grilling – but in the end, it was a large wok pan served on a gas grill. The food tasted okay, but nothing outstanding in this price category. The dish was served with a few lettuce leaves, which the waitress said you could reorder for free – which we did three times. We were all the more surprised by the final bill: €32.90 per person for the pan (which was stated on the menu, but sounds like more than it actually was) – and an additional €22.50 just for the reordered lettuce leaves. When we pointed out that we'd been told they were free, we were simply told that the waitress was new and had made a mistake. Added to that was the very loud noise in the bar area, where we were seated right next to it – unfortunately, it was anything but comfortable. Overall, a disappointing visit: a nice idea, but unfortunately not convincing in its implementation. Above all, the issues of reordering and communication urgently need to be improved.

The taste was okay and the service was good, but the prices were completely exorbitant (€25 for a not-so-large portion of fried chicken and €7.50 for a bit of kimchi). The prices should be at most 75%, more like two-thirds. Unfortunately, I won't be going back – you can find plenty of good food for less money (or better/more refined food for the same price) in Munich – what a shame!

Absolute disaster, I've never eaten such disgusting, oily udon. This restaurant was extraordinary and I weigh my words. I had a bibimbap, some Khimchi and it was just delicious. Often these dishes are too spicy or on the contrary are bland. It was just perfect, I enjoyed it. Really a shame that I don't live in Munich, because I think this restaurant could have become my new canteen, it was so good. If you are in Munich, go and discover this restaurant!

Sensational food! Great service! I came in at 6:20 pm and the restaurant was empty . At 7pm all seats were taken. I have had edamame, kimchi and bimbimbab with tofu. I had a Korean ginger tea and two tiger beers .

Yuyumi in Haidhausen - A Korean BBQ experience with clear weaknesses... The Yuyumi in Haidhausen left us with mixed feelings. The interior of the restaurant is attractive, modern and stylish, but unfortunately some details significantly spoil the positive overall impression. The toilets in particular were in a condition that has to be described as "rocky to disgusting", which is unacceptable. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were informed that the reservation rules had to be adhered to, but they were then shown to be flexible. Unfortunately, the table we chose was unreasonably cold, so we were forced to move to another area, but the situation wasn't much better. It is inappropriate to have to sit in a restaurant wearing a winter jacket to avoid freezing. Our waiter was always friendly, attentive and tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible. However, there was little he could do about the adverse conditions and the deficiencies in the kitchen. The Korean barbecue we were looking forward to turned out to be a kind of "soup" and did not meet our expectations of a traditional Korean BBQ experience. The lettuce leaves that were served for the grill were withered and brown when they were first delivered, which significantly affected the enjoyment. Only after a long wait did we receive fresh, acceptable leaves. Unfortunately the rice was already cold at this point. What is positive is the restaurant's gesture of compensating for our displeasure with a free dessert. The vanilla ice cream and the (also cold chocolate cake) were delicious. Conclusion: The Yuyumi in Haidhausen certainly has potential, but the price-performance ratio was not at all good that evening. €8.40 for a bottle of water in a cold environment and €32 p.p. In our opinion, they are not appropriate for a barbecue that was more like soup. Despite the friendly waiter and the attentive service, the deficiencies mentioned could not improve our overall impression. We probably won't visit Yuyumi in its current form again. We paid our “interim bill” and left. It's a shame, because the selection of such restaurants in Munich is poor.

Prices are comparably high for what you get. Food was good but would've needed more seasoning. They prefer cash payment and play the 'Zwischenrechnung' game with you - you'll have to ask more than once for the proper bill. Decoration and atmosphere are nice and cozy, service is attentive.

I dined in at this place along with my German companions and I am writing this review as a Korean. Honestly, meat dishes we ordered was not bad at all. I give it a pass. But for a plate of fried dumplings, which consisted of a supermarket bought 3 mini-size dumplings, probably a bibigo brand, coming out at 2.60 Euros per dumpling, is almost criminal and certainly a very deceitful pricing. If you are going to charge this much per mini-size dumplings, at least the restaurant should make it on their own in the kitchen or buy big size dumplings from the supermarket. As for Tteokbboki, a typical Korean snack, was horribly cooked, there was not enough sauce to cover the rice cakes and fish cakes. Charging for side dishes such as Kimchi at Korean restaurants should be illegal, I do not know how they get away with this. As a Korean, I would never visit this place ever again.

No enlightenment in terms of taste, but overpriced. They should go to Korea and try real Korean chicken.

We were there relatively spontaneously yesterday. The reservation worked perfectly. The fact that my companion arrived late wasn't a problem either. The service was very friendly and the price-performance ratio was right. It was a very nice visit. Thank you!

A dream. After binge-watching Culinary Class Wars (Quranic cooking reality show) over the holidays, we were really craving Quranic food. Here you will find a real treat for the palate, with a wonderfully cozy atmosphere and below 5* service. We will definitely go back to work our way through the menu.

stew was very small, none of the dishes were served with side dishes, they didn’t have proper heating so we were a little cold, fried chicken and other dishes were okay but nothing really good- even though the pricing is on the higher side. we also had a birthday kid that wasn’t even recognized.

The Yuyumi is within walking distance between Rosenheimer Platz and Ostbahnhof. The service is carried out by Vietnamese; only the boss is Korean. The team is nice, but the service is rather simple. Even the boss had both thumbs stuck in the starter bowls. Actually inappropriate for the high price level and the elegant furnishings. The food is very tasty. The cocktails are very good, although in fairly small (slim) glasses. At the end, when we wanted to pay, there was an interim bill. Ouch!

It was okay. Maybe a little too expensive. I ordered the teriyaki udon and it was good.

Unfortunately, a reservation is not worth anything. 8:00 p.m. reserved - 8:15 p.m. we were seated after another couple had finished. Unfortunately the store wasn't for us as vegetarians. The tofu didn't taste like anything. Unfortunately, the service first forgot our drinks and then our food. So we waited for 2 hours and left the food halfway through. At least we received free kimchi for the long wait. The service was still very friendly!

Mixed feelings. The restaurant itself is beautifully furnished and illuminated and creates a nice feel-good atmosphere. What is a growing illness in Munich's gastronomy is the ever-shortening time slots. We were told as soon as we entered that we would have to vacate the place after 1.5 hours despite having a reservation. It would be nice to be informed of this when making your reservation, then you could decide against it straight away. This is annoying in itself and takes away the desire to order more than one main course. However, if it takes 20 minutes for three (simple!) drinks to be served and 35 minutes for the food order to be taken, you don't have the opportunity to enjoy the starter, main course and dessert before the countdown is over. The food was then brought 35 minutes before the end. Nobody can tell me that a restaurant will go under if you let guests sit for at least two hours. The food was actually good, there was nothing to complain about. But I probably won't come back a second time for the reasons mentioned above.

Even though the atmosphere in the restaurant was good, after just 1.5 hours they wanted to throw us out the door in a very rude manner, even though we had a time slot of two hours available. Furthermore, the quality of the dishes and the price were not in a reasonable relationship.

Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio wasn't right for us. We had reserved early and were among the first guests. It definitely didn't smell good in the place - it wasn't a good start. The place was also rather uncomfortable and cold. The food was okay, but nothing special. The service was attentive and very friendly.

Nice place with great staff, definitely. However, it has to be said that the prices for the food are rather high and are more geared towards European tastes.

Korean Fried Chicken and Pho were good. Only the chicken tasted a bit like frozen. If the quality of the meat were increased it would be 5 stars.

Air up! The food was quite tasty, but could have been more intense. The place is nice, but rather mainstream. Service is nice and friendly, unfortunately seems overwhelmed (also linguistically), orders take far too long if they come at all. We still had a nice evening, but it can also be done cheaper and better in other locations in the city.

Delicious Korean food. Ambience very authentic. Small, quiet restaurant. We felt very comfortable. gladly again!

Nice atmosphere and comfortably furnished. Friendly and good service. The food is delicious and beautifully presented, spicy dishes are also deliciously spicy. The only thing that keeps me from visiting again is the price; unfortunately the ratio is no longer right for me.

Food was good. I ordered Bibimbap and I found it to be Germanised :) If you like your food spicy, choose the spiciest version

Not good service. Was asked twice if something was my food without having ordered it. However, I wasn't asked if I wanted something to drink. Food mediocre. Nice atmosphere. In the end I had to wait in line to pay... pretty expensive too. No recommendation
