The high price in no way justifies the quality of the food. It's not authentic!!! There were frozen vegetables! It's not even snack quality. Once and never again!!! Not recommended. I was very disappointed.

If you are craving Korean food avoid this place. Ordered the Daeji Bulgogi, after confirming that despite the 21.50 EUR it comes without any side dishes, I ordered the Kimchi for 6.90 EUR extra. I couldn’t even finish half of it (both). The Kimchi was salty and mixed with sesame oil, the main dish also too salty drowned in some weird marinade with chewy, fatty meat. Worst “Korean” food I ever had, even in Germany. As my mom as well as my wife are Korean and having been living in Korea for several years myself, I think I can judge what it should taste like. I gave the service crew my honest feedback, and after confirming that the owner is indeed Korean (was not present), I asked them to get the owner to try his food - as I am pretty sure he wouldn’t finish it either. The service was good and took my feedback like a pro. But as long as they don’t improve taste and quality, I can only recommend to go somewhere else for Korean cuisine - especially for the price they are asking for.

Staff was very friendly and made the atmosphere cheerful and enjoyable. As for the food, I'm no Korean connaisseur, but their Bulgogi was definitely the best I've had so far. I can only highly recommend this place!

I had one of the worst scamming experiences of my life. They made us pay 21€ for a Soju (regular price: 4€)...from that point onwards, the experience went downhill. The food was great, but stop scamming people.

I was welcomed with open arms and such niceness ( cliche word I know ) but the waiter who showed me that we had a reservation was so kind and nice and patient. Kudos to the last guy who served us with the glasses he’s so cool… will definitely come back….

Visited several times between July 2022 and July 2023: Unfortunately, quality and service have deteriorated significantly, and unfortunately the cuisine here is now below average. One of the Yuyumi specials - the duck: The portions are only half as large as before and the duck is dry. The bibimbap consists mostly of just cold rice. The worst thing is the unfriendly and poor service - despite booking two weeks in advance, you have to sit in the ice-cold entrance area. It was thought that the yuyumi in Haidhausen would be a good Korean restaurant in Munich, but unfortunately that is not the case. From the many other negative reviews you can see that others also have negative experiences in Haidhausen. The high-quality, very good recommendations are irritating; they seem artificial. Update: The restaurant deals with criticism as follows: instead of improving service, authenticity and quality, the restaurant wants to have my review deleted by Google

With friends, three of us spent over 110: 3 non-alcoholic drinks, a starter to share and 3 main courses. The price is probably very high among all Korean restaurants in Munich, almost 40 euros per head. The quality: All drinks were overly sweet. All dishes are very fatty, very dark because of the heavy sauces and very salty. The surroundings were also very dark, so you could hardly see what you were eating. A big disappointment. Only the service was normally friendly.

Beautiful restaurant with kind and helpful staff. The food was well presented, but not really remarkable. It lacked personality. Compared to another, simpler Korean restaurant in the city, it fell short. Very high prices for what is delivered, the reason for the overall 3 stars.

The food is very tasty, but the prices are also very high. For example, you pay for a shot of soju more than you pay for a bottle in South Korea and almost as much as you pay for a bottle on Amazon

After experiencing Korean cuisine in various places, the food at Yuyumi was very average to be honest. I had Udon with beef and although eatable, noodles and veggies were all overcooked. Took the kimchi version, but could hardly find it being part of the ingredients. There are definitely better Korean restaurants out there. The service was OK.

The restaurant offers a modern ambience and very friendly, courteous service. As a regular visitor to Korea and with family ties to the country, I have high expectations for the authenticity of Korean cuisine. Unfortunately, the restaurant was unable to meet these expectations in some respects. Points of criticism: Haemul Pajeon: The Haemul Pajeon was significantly thicker than usual in Korea and contained less spring onions and other seafood (more mussels, practically no squid or octopus). Kimchi: The kimchi was heavily seasoned with sesame oil, which is unusual in Korea. When I pointed it out, it was swapped for a version without sesame oil, but an unusual bitter note emerged. Sundubu Jigae: While the Sundubu Jigae had a flavorful broth, the seafood was fibrous and tough and seemed to come from a frozen mix. Rice: Unfortunately, long grain rice was used instead of the short grain rice that is common in Korea, which has a different taste and texture. The refinement with red wild rice, however, was pleasing and authentic. Price-performance ratio: Considering the lack of authenticity and quality of the ingredients, the price seems excessive compared to other Korean restaurants in Munich. Conclusion: The restaurant has potential, but the quality of the ingredients and the authenticity of the dishes need to be significantly improved to justify the high price. Due to the discrepancy between price and quality, I only give one star and hope that my feedback leads to improvements.

Something different! Very aesthetic Asian interior design. Super nice staff. We were able to eat properly at 10 p.m. The meat for grilling at the table and the side dishes were fresh and tasted great. The cocktails were also very good. Good restaurant also for company parties or celebrations

Food is below average for the price

I went there thinking it was a place run by Koreans, but the taste and quantity were terrible and the prices were ridiculously high... It's too much. I'm angry that there are so many fake Korean restaurants. Please do not misunderstand that Korean food is not tasty after eating at this restaurant.

Spinach as a starter was OK, kimchi was also unusually fruity and sizzling. As a main course 2x bibimbap, once with tofu, once with marinated pork. Rice was OK. Tofu unmarinated and cold, straight from the package just placed on the rice; Mushrooms (champignons instead of shiitake) were unfortunately old and were simply placed on top when cold. Food is no indication of quality or that someone puts effort into the kitchen. Prices too high for that; prefer to eat at home. Update April 2024: Restaurant would like to have my review deleted on Google.

Subpar Korean food here. Their seafood pancake tasted more like a piece of fried dough peppered with frozen seafood, their bulgogi noodles lacks the depth of flavour you’d expect in the meat and is laden with over cooked noodles whilst the bimbimbap is acceptable but nothing that evokes the vibrancy of the traditional Korean dish. Prices aren’t cheap to justify the lacklustre quality either - expect to spend at least 15 EUR for the starters and 20 for the mains. Update: this restaurant actually sent Google a legal notice to try and take down my review just because it’s unfavourable. As such, I really cannot recommend this place and am forced to give it one star for its despicable practice. (Originally 2 stars, proof of legal notice from restaurant attached to make other patrons aware)

We waited in the waiting area for more than 20 minutes before being told that the reservation was full and we could not enter. But at the same time, the waiter told another group that they could enter after waiting for 15 minutes. If it was because of the reservation, you could have told us earlier instead of telling us 20 minutes later. And isn't the slogan "Koreans cook better food" a form of discrimination?

It was the worst experience. I visited on May 3, 2023, and while I was waiting to pick up my food, they told me to go somewhere else because they were disturbing me, and I felt bad because they took orders from other Westerners before me. At the time, a German woman with many tattoos, not a Korean, showed a very dismissive attitude while serving us, so I gave it 1 star and am now posting a detailed post.

One of the best restaurants in Munich! Been here several times, always outstanding in every respect! Super fast and attentive service, food delicious and always exceeds our expectations. Ambience fantastic! Toilets are always clean too! That says a lot about the restaurant.

Large selection of Korean dishes that taste very good. The Korean fried chicken and the kimchi pancake are particularly recommended as starters. The various main courses form a large selection from bibimbap to udon noodles to jjigae. Overall a very good restaurant!

My husband and I went to eat here before the Easter weekend. It was incredible. The fried chicken wings were so delicious. My mouth is watering as I write this, just thinking about it. We are definitely coming back. If we lived a bit closer, we would probably come at least once a week for the chicken wings alone. So good! I also had the Kimchi Fried rice and bulgogi. The kimchi had some “real spice” to it, which was lovely and delicious. The bulgogi just melted in my mouth. Dessert was also very tasty. I have absolutely no complaints and question anyone that would. Atmosphere, service, and food were all exceptional. Thank you for the experience.

The restaurant is centrally located. Parking spaces available along the street and side streets (depending on occupancy/day of the week, you may be lucky enough to find a free parking space). The restaurant is very dark but pleasantly decorated. Unfortunately, the tables are very close together and therefore the environment seems very loud, depending on the number of visitors. The service was ok, polite, but still seemed a bit distant and cold. Especially during the welcome, there was an announcement that the table would be free for 1.5 hours (which was enough in our case. For a larger group who wanted to spend a nice evening, I don't think that would have been a sufficient time slot) despite previous notice Reservation. The menu offers a good selection, also for vegetarians/vegans. The BBQ is ok in terms of price-performance ratio, unfortunately there is only a simple table grill - in other restaurants you get a nicer ambience with an integrated grill in the table, etc. Prices are typical for the city center, the quality of the food and drinks is fresh and okay.

I ordered bibimbap to be delivered. It was so delicious that next time I tried bibimbap in a restaurant. It was really nice that the food comes with a stone bowl and you can literally hear the bowl cooking. It was really nice experience I had and that Yuyumi Spritz is come on guys, it was amazing. We had a great experience and amazingly tasty food last evening. We've tried quite a few things: spicy chicken wings (amaaaaazing!!!), fried coconut schrimp, mandus, kimchi jjigae, japchae, cinnamon pancake, soft cheese cake + cocktails 🤤 and soju... really tasty allnof them. The service was very friendly, and the owner was very kind and always ready to help. I must say, this was the best customer experience I had since moving to Munich 2 years+ ago. We will definitely be back!

Freche Preise Geheimtip : besser nicht hin

We went here for dinner this evening because friends in Hamburg had shown us Korean cuisine and we wanted to try it in Munich. Luckily for us, we weren't disappointed! As a starter we shared the spicy boneless fried chicken. It was hard to get enough of the sauce and chicken, as good as it was! For the main course we ordered bulgogi - once with rice and once with noodles - which was equally delicious. Everything was well seasoned, warm and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is nice and modern and the atmosphere in the restaurant was also very pleasant. The service staff was really friendly and you noticed that you were not just a customer, but a guest! In the end we even got 2 packages of drinking glasses because the restaurant no longer has any use for them. It's probably not part of your everyday restaurant visit, but we still found it really nice and somehow funny. We will be back definitely!

Worst experience with a restaurant ever! I booked with OpenTable 10 days before the requested day, as I had special guests visiting Munich. On *the day* of the reservation, I received a call with cancellation, as the system mistakenly allowed booking "outside" (not possible in winter). The worst is the attitude of the calling person, being arrogant, non-apologetic, not proposing any solution or compensation but "setting us a table outside if we insist". He claimed to be the owner, and I cannot imagine someone managing a business like that.

Ich war schon in vielen koreanischen Restaurants, allerdings nicht in München, aber dieses war leider bisher das schlechteste. Erstmal war die Musik viel zu laut, die wurde auf Wunsch etwas leiser gedreht. Der Servicemitarbeiter war nett, aber hat nicht so gut deutsch verstanden und demnach auch nicht gut beraten können, als wir Fragen zum koreanischen Tee hatten. Das Bibimbap habe ich noch nie ohne Kimchi bekommen, hier musste ich es für 7€! Dazu bestellen und ich hab noch nie so schlechtes Kimchi gegessen. Das Fleischgericht, hatte kaum Fleisch und insgesamt war alles sehr fad und einfach zu teuer. 21€ für ein bisschen Reis mit Gemüse? Come on... Also wer authentisch koreanisch essen möchte, sollte hier auf jeden Fall nicht hingehen. Preis/Leistung einfach mangelhaft.

Muss sagen, die Preise sind extrem teuer, der Service bringt oft, was man gerade nicht bestellt hat (und da war es auch noch nicht ganz voll/ stressig) und das Essen ist so lala. Die Nachspeisen sind ganz okay, aber für ein nichtmal Kinderhandtellergroßes Fleckchen Kuchen 7,5€ hinzulegen oder für ein Getränk mit 0,3l mehr als 4€ ist schon heftig. Geschmacklich bewegt sich das Essen mehr Richtung China-Schnellimbiss, preislich für zwei Personen ist man schnell jede Menge Geld los.

A very chic presented restaurant. Staffs were friendly, moved the Christmas 2023 playlist. We were singing along while waiting for our food. Food wise it was not authentic and very pricey. The price on Google menu have not been updated. All the main dishes are above 20€.

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt leider nicht. Eine Pfanne mit Tofu und Gemüse bestand zu 60% aus Zwiebeln, 4 kleine Stückchen grünes Gemüse und der Rest waren Karottenscheiben = über 20 Euro. Zwei windige Motchi-Eis Bällchen (die ganz normalen die man in jedem größeren Supermarkt bekommt) kosteten über 10 Euro! Wir haben zu zweit über 80 Euro bezahlt für ein Essen, dass sein Geld nicht wert war. Die Karte wurde für den Nachtisch erneut gebracht, leere Teller blieben stehen. Die Bestellung für den Nachtisch wurde aufgenommen und die leeren Teller blieben immer noch stehen. Getränke waren leer, interessierte niemanden. Wäre das Restaurant komplett voll gewesen, ok – kann vorkommen, dass man völlig überlastet ist, aber das war nicht der Fall. Es kann auch vorkommen, dass Leute eingearbeitet werden und dadurch das Durcheinander größer ist – alles kein Problem, für sowas haben wir vollstes Verständnis, aber auch das war hier nicht der Fall.

Wenn ich an das Essen denke bekomme ich wieder Gänsehaut. Das Essen ist eine reine geschmackliche Achterbahn (nur im guten Sinne). Man wird herzlichst empfangen und relativ schnell bedient. Ambiente war auch super Service lief bis auf eine Ausnahme reibungslos. Aufjedenfall zum weiterempfehlen
