Nice Korean food. Bulgogi was great and honestly the fried chicken was insane, the jalapeño mayo was just amazing. Nice vibe.

The menu leans toward refined Korean dishes rather than traditional home-style meals, but the flavors are excellent. I ordered the hot stone bibimbap and a Korean noodle dish（Japchae） (similar to cold noodles). The bibimbap came sizzling hot, with crispy rice at the bottom and a well-balanced mix of vegetables and sauce — very satisfying. The noodle dish was light, refreshing, and had a flavorful broth, great for those who prefer something less heavy. One thing to note: the lunch and dinner menus are different. The lunch menu is more simplified and doesn’t include the small Korean side dishes (banchan) you typically get at dinner. So if you’re looking for the full Korean dining experience, I’d recommend coming in the evening. The staff were friendly and attentive, and overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Prices are slightly on the higher side, but definitely worth it for the quality. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic and well-executed Korean food in Munich! The food overall was delicious. Chicken quality is very good. There is some room for improvement in the stew, but I am still satisfied with it. Worth coming here when you're hungry for Korean food in Munich.

I've been to 89Anju several times and I'm thrilled every time! 😊 The food is super tasty and the portions are really generous. The service is always friendly and attentive. My absolute favorites – perfect if you order for two – are the Kimchi Jeon and the Budae Jjigae. I've also ordered food to be picked up once, which worked without any problems: I only had to wait about 5 minutes when I arrived. After living in Korea for a few months, I really missed the authentic Korean food here in Germany🥲 The 89Anju is not as cheap as in Korea, but the taste is very, very close. I'm really happy to have discovered this restaurant! Absolute recommendation 🤗🥰

Unfortunately we weren't really happy with the food. The glass noodles with vegetables were tasteless, very oily and unfortunately too dry. We hoped for more 😔. Too bad!

We tried the tteokbokki and fried chicken. The fried chicken was tender and juicy, although it lacked the crispiness we were hoping for. As for the tteokbokki, it didn’t quite meet our expectations and tasted less satisfying than homemade versions. Overall, it was an okay experience 3/5.

This is a Korean restaurant. There is a lunch menu and the restaurant is spacious. What is interesting is that there are photos of popular Korean singers and other artists on display, creating an interesting atmosphere. It was busy as it was lunch time. The ``Ishiyaki Bibimbap'' meal was nice because it had a lot of vegetables, but it didn't have much seasoning. The staff seemed friendly and kind.

The food was very, very good (we only saved on the pickled radish, three thin slices 1cm wide), but the wrong drink came and we were initially not very kindly told that you weren't allowed to sit down directly. But there was no one there at the time who could have given us a table. But that can happen, I'll definitely go back.

One of the best Koreans we’ve eaten! Very busy and we had no booking but the team kindly found us a spot at the bar, which was great to see it all in action. The food was phenomenal and in particular the Kimchi-buchimgae. Cocktails were also killer and the bartender kindly offered to take our photo too. Very cool and buzzy vibe, highly recommend!

Very tasty, although a bit expensive. KPOP is playing in the background and the walls are decorated accordingly.

Just tried something new and ate Korean food for the first time at Anju89. To be honest, I've never been to Korea before, but the local audience seemed very authentic. The location itself definitely has a cool feel, somehow special. A great taste experience: exciting flavors that you don't have every day, but everything in a pleasant setting. The balance between 'different' and 'tasty' was just right. The drinks were also very good. In addition, the service is super friendly and the prices are absolutely okay for Munich. 89Anju 팀, 멋진 저녁 감사합니다! 또 올게요!

I had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, and every dish was full of flavor. The ambiance was also perfect, with a beautifully designed interior that made the experience even more enjoyable.

Extremely attentive and friendly staff! The KFC chicken is a dream! But the other food is pretty good too. Totally pleasant lighting and atmosphere. The air is great, by that I mean you don't get tired, there's no oxygen deprivation. I've been here twice now and will come again.

The food is really very authentic. Vorhallen Fried chicken is top. Also try the Korean drinks: I can only recommend Somek (beer and soju) or Makgoelli. If it says spicy, you will get spicy. So be careful if you're not used to it. You have a great one here. Evening, definitely stop by!

I went on a Monday night, and the seats were almost full, so it seems like it's a very popular restaurant. The food was delicious. It was so large that I couldn't finish it, but when I asked, they kindly wrapped up the rest and took it home. I think it's best to go with a group of people and share.

The boneless fried chicken is delicious, and I thought the others would be delicious, but the boneless fried chicken, bibimbap, and spicy stir-fried pork were just so-so.

Been there several times and was always great. Once we didn't get what we wanted. We ate it anyway, it was very tasty.

It's been a long time since I've been back to Anju and I had the feeling that the quality of the dishes had deteriorated. The portions were very small relative to the price, and some of the tteokbokki weren't quite cooked through.

Ambiance: the restaurant is really beautifully designed, with all the illuminated signs you feel like you are in Seoul at night. Service: all the employees were super friendly and accommodating. We forgot a side dish, but that can always happen and we apologized immediately. I had the feeling that all the waiters were very attentive and always made sure that everything was right for us. Really great, please keep it up dear team! :) Food: by far the best Korean place I've ever tried. Here you can also find dishes that (unfortunately) cannot be found at other Koreans, such as Jjajangmyeon. I had this last time and it tastes just like in Korea, simply wonderful! The chicken is also really tasty, but what really blew me away were the potato wedges. I have no idea they can pull it off, but they are absolutely delicious! Conclusion: 100% recommendation, a little piece of Korea in Munich!

Super delicious food. We once had chicken with vegetables and cheese gratinated and beef with vegetables and rice. I haven't eaten so well in a long time. Also very friendly and attentive service. You should make a reservation, there is a lot going on here. Definitely coming back.

If you’re into Korean food, you must pay a visit to this place! The food is DELICIOUS! The service amazing and the atmosphere super cool - I loved the k-pop related decorations on the walls! I had the cheese dakgalbi, a traditional dish popular among students and soldiers for its affordability and generous portions. As a drink I picked the Bok-Bun-Ja Spritz made with a Korean fruit wine.

The portion (at least for takeaway) has shrunk extremely recently. We will try again on site. If it's the same on site, the restaurant is dead for us. It's really a shame! We have always ordered here for TFF (Trash Food Friday) for years!

My military hotpot for two person has only Tofu and sausages, and this costs me 40 euro. (Sure there are also two slides of cheese and some spice purpose vegetables, lol.) This is such a SCAM, 40 euro and not even a third ingredient like ramen which should totally be in there. I feel so disappointed. —— update —— Visited a couple of time later because my partner likes their fried chicken, they were quite good. Would still recommend this restaurant, just maybe don’t order the military hotpot. (Also for military hotpot, you can order ramen with extra 2 euro.)

On Saturday I went to this Korean restaurant for the first time with a group of friends. 🍜 The restaurant is very nice although it is not very big. The staff is Korean, everyone is very helpful and nice. The menu features classic Korean dishes, from super crispy chicken wings with a variety of sauces to signature dishes like kimchi and bulgogi. I had the bokkeum, a vegetable dish with octopus. There is also rice and small side dishes. Just spicy enough for my taste. I will happily return 🥰

I was here with a big group and it was a really lovely night. Kudos to the service for being able to accommodate so many guests (20 something) and bringing the food in a timely manner. The food itself was very yummy (really recommend fried chicken) and the servings are very filling. I think one big plate could even be too much for one person! This is the kind of place where sharing is really recommended.

Tried Korean food for the first time. It was a nice experience and the food was delicious. Although only chicken lover i tried few items and loved them. KFC boneless chicken with different sauce tastes amazing. Although the Hot Sweet KFC was just juicy and flavourful. Overall the experience was great and a must try for food lovers.😅 I highly recommend people to reserve a table in advance to avoid any inconvenience. The place is crowded and finding a table in last minute and that too in weekend is impossible.

What also was extremely good was the Tteokbokki (with cheese on top) and the kimchijeon. Trust me, you have to get these things. To be honest everything was really well done and had deep intense flavours. If it wasn’t so expensive I would go once a week :0 run to this place with good friends and order a lot of different dishes to try together would be my recommendation

Overall, a pleasant visit with great food - but what is particularly recommended is not the KFC (good, but not spectacular) but the more traditional dishes (bulgogi, cheese dakgalbi, some of them outstanding). Very friendly staff, good pace of cooking. There is a star deduction for the toilets, which were very cold, very unpleasant smelling (men) or partly damaged (women). Not crucial to the recommendation per se, but could use more love.

The food, service and ambience really leave nothing to be desired. I can therefore highly recommend a visit to everyone. There is only a small deduction because of the very strict limitation on the time you can spend there. My companion and I each had a main course, a starter and a drink. Unfortunately there was no time for dessert, which we actually wanted to order. Of course I understand the concept and the idea behind it, but it would definitely contribute to the cozy atmosphere if the occupancy could be organized a little more "flexibly". But as I said, that doesn't detract from the taste or the friendly treatment of the employees. It's a great restaurant that I'll happily return to.

I come here for korean fried chicken

Overrated and overpriced - the first time I went, I waited at the front door for almost 10 minutes until somebody came and told me "there are no tables" without even a sorry. The second time we booked in advance and as soon as we arrived the first thing we were told is "you get the table for 1.5 hours". Food was ok but overpriced, service was average. The japchae had almost no flavour. Will be avoiding from now on - there is far better Korean food elsewhere in Munich! This place is simply overhyped. We ordered 3 drinks, 2 starters, 1 main and paid almost €70!

The fried chicken is okay, the spiciness is average, and it’s not cheap. I seemed to have left a tip in a daze? But the service was very good, so I put up with it. It's a popular restaurant, and people line up after seven o'clock.
