Mmaah - Korean BBQ Express in München

Unfortunately, our visit to Mmaah Korean BBQ was disappointing. The chicken wasn't cooked all the way through – a definite no-go, especially with poultry. The presentation of the dishes seemed bland and uninviting. The food also lacked flavor: it lacked any kind of seasoning, giving it no Korean flair at all. Overall, neither the preparation nor the flavor resembled authentic Korean BBQ. It's a shame, because our expectations were high – but unfortunately, they weren't met.

The service was top-notch, the staff was exceptional, and the food was simply delightful.

Unfortunately, I only ate 80%, which is a shame. For that price, I wouldn't eat it again. It tasted really good, but I was still disappointed...

I've ordered from Mmaah Schwabing a total of four times. The first two times, the food was delicious and I loved it. The delivery time was about half an hour each time. The last two times, the delivery never arrived, even though the restaurant indicated on Lieferando that the food had been delivered. When I tried to clarify the matter by phone each time, no one answered the phone, even after multiple attempts. I find the whole situation very unfortunate, as I initially thought the food was very tasty. I wouldn't order from there again in the future, as the food simply never arrives.

Delivery is unfortunately very poor. Quality continues to decline. Boxes are getting smaller and more expensive. Sauces are always only half full. For €1.20. Unfortunately, the store is heading in the completely wrong direction. Like all franchises... One loyal customer down

I had a great experience at this Korean fast food! The food was prepared quickly, but was incredibly tasty and fresh. The flavors were authentic and vibrant and the portions were just right. The staff was friendly and service was fast. I especially want to highlight the incredibly helpful assistance of the employee at the checkout, who was very helpful with choosing dishes and patiently answered all my questions. If you want delicious Korean fast food, I can confidently recommend this place!”

Ordered via Lieferando, after 55 minutes it said your food would be delivered in 6 minutes, then suddenly, sorry, your order was canceled. Absolute impudence.

Unfortunately a big disappointment for everyone who knows and loves Korean food. Those little cardboard bowls and the strange sauces on top. The food itself doesn't taste authentic and unfortunately not good either.

Mmaah is a Korean-style fast food restaurant with a sufficient selection of dishes. From mandu to rice dishes with different toppings. In terms of taste, the food is okay and definitely fills you up, but you shouldn't expect authentic Korean cuisine here. The ambience also corresponds to the typical fast food character: functional with ordering screens and little coziness. Okay for a quick bite, but not a culinary highlight.

Took 1hr for some fried chicken. The guy who was on the counter was had many fresh orders sitting on the counter going cold while he assorted them into bags. When the order was complete it was all cold. Very disappointing. I don’t understand why you would not have a food warmer while you wait? Bad system, disorganised. Nothing worse than cold, fried chicken with rice. Definitely avoid

This place is a disgrace to korean food. Their chicken is basically deep friend plastic balls on a bed of dry, starchy, unswallowable rice drizzled with different sauces - the only edible thing in the dish. What a waste of calories 😖.

D store I'm in the hospital and I ordered something in a timely manner which was accepted so I relied on the food and suddenly after several updates the bill was canceled now I can't order anything else anywhere else... no one answered the phone either, what's that supposed to mean??? No help via Lieferando or anything else really great

It had really good food with reasonable price. The mild spicy food wasn't spicy at all. Definitely recommended!

The food was solid, though perhaps not entirely authentic and lacking in love. Service was nonexistent; you order at a terminal, and when the monitor says "ready for pickup," someone who doesn't open their mouths puts the food down. It was rather uncomfortable, with surprisingly few customers at lunchtime, but a few drivers came to pick up food. The shelf for delivery backpacks is a great idea.

It doesn't taste like Korean chicken, but like salty commercial karaage with salty sauce on top? It's too salty... The bulgogi is hard, the dumplings are tasteless and chewy. Don't eat it expecting Korean food... It's like a foreigner copying American-style Korean fast food.

The meat smells the same as the Korean restaurant Anyong next to Sendlinger Tor. They may have the same supply channel. It's so delicious.

Definitely no longer recommended!!! Before, I was always extremely enthusiastic, everything was delicious and the portions were good. I always order the crispy chicken extra. The last three times I was there I ordered the large portion again as usual and the employee assured me that it was the large portion for around €10.50, although it was definitely not enough. It was exactly the same last time and today we ordered the small and large portion. The large portion, which cost over €10, contained 8 crispy chicken and the small portion, which cost around €6, contained 7 crispy chicken. All chickens were the same size. It's a complete impudence and impudence to charge €4 more for 1-2 small pieces of chicken, especially since I know and have seen which chicken is being used. They have definitely lost me as a regular customer and I will pass this on to the people I know!!!

Yes, unfortunately the food isn't exactly authentic. And my crispy chicken wasn't cooked properly either. At least I was offered a replacement (no crispy chicken, however). Apparently the deep fryers are no longer available. Considering what's on offer, I also think the price is too high.

The taste was great, BUT the larger breaded chicken pieces were definitely not cooked through. Disinterested employee made it clear to us that he didn't care, even though we weren't the only ones. When the deep fryer says it's ready, it's ready 🤷‍♀️ that's it. Too bad!

We were just eating and noticed that the chrunchy chicken was half raw. This was also noticed by another customer and when we spoke to the waitress he said that he “didn’t give a damn”.

we ordered and paid for food through Wolt. We were able to track the processing of our order, but when the food was delivered, the dish special potatoes large with extra meat was delivered WITHOUT meat. We took a photo for documentation, called the restaurant and complained about the incomplete delivery. After an Hmmm they hung up. Another call was only accepted 20 minutes later and when we complained about the missing food they said they would sort it out with Wolt. The second dish was rice with dumplings and salad. Everything mixed in a box, lukewarm and the salad in the rice was inedible. This was our first time ordering food for delivery here and we will never order here again. On the one hand, it can certainly happen that something is missing, but to stall someone like that is simply outrageous. On the other hand, we are used to different, more appetizing boxes for food delivery and you simply cannot mix salad with a dish. Never again

The food was good, but it definitely wasn't as tasty as original Korean food. I also think that the portion was a little too small in relation to the price.

Very tasty so far, there are also vegetarian and vegan versions and there are also self-order terminals. Since the kitchen is open and only separated by curtains, you smell a bit like a deep fryer when you eat inside :-). You definitely shouldn't go in with your best clothes on :-)

Liked the food taste and variety, portions looked small but were quite filling for us (dine in) We liked the digital ordering, it showed us a reality of the quantity served which seems less but was quite filling. We took 2 combo meals and the taste did not disappoint. It was well cooked and seasoned.

I really enjoy eating there. Especially with the monitor you can see what the food looks like. (Not available on Barrer Street) Rice is always good and always very tasty with potatoes. The price is also 10/10 and you will be full.

A meal wasn't delivered and when I called and asked, they said they couldn't help me and just hung up on me. I never got the money back either

We arrived 10 minutes before closing time and the employees didn't want to serve us anymore because they had already cleaned up. If you want to finish work, you should specify the opening times differently. I don't expect to be sent away during opening hours because the workers want to finish work earlier.

I ordered for delivery. Waiting 100 minutes for a mediocre dish of a relatively manageable size makes me more tempted not to eat here again.

ordered the crispy chicken classic and both of us weren’t satisfied. expected way more. the chicken was dry - in fact, there was barley any chicken meat at all. all you could taste was the spice of the sauce. the salad was fine but even the rice couldn’t fix much. pretty disappointed.

The Korean restaurant Mmaah impressed me with its authentic cuisine and warm atmosphere. The variety of dishes were deliciously prepared and impressed with fresh ingredients and traditional flavors. The service was attentive and friendly, making my visit a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The furnishings were modern and yet comfortable, which contributed to the feeling of well-being. Overall, I can fully recommend Mmaah for all lovers of Korean cuisine!
