Bedienung war prima von Steffi und Jessi, ganz freundliches Personal kann man sich gut unterhalten, sind für die Kunden da und Getränke schmecken prima ☺️

Das Essen ist Standart Pommesbuden Essen, allerdings leider zu kleine Portionen für zu viel Geld, Personal war sehr freundlich

Nicht zu empfehlen Currywurst halb roh halb durch teste gerne essen aber da ist mir das kotzen gekommen pommes bloß nicht nochmal dazu bestellen nicht weiter zu empfehlen pfui

Das Essen hat mir recht gut gefallen. Ambiente war super, entspannte Ruhrpott Musik, beruhigende Beleuchtung. Der Service war super. Beim Eingang gab es eine Begrüßung vom Serviceteam, Service war sehr professionell und kompetent. Essen war innerhalb von 7-10 Minuten fertig. Aus meiner Sicht als Schüler die perfekte Lounge um in der Mittagspause vom Schulstress runterzukommen.

I got a currywurst here with fries, gypsy sauce, and mayo on the fries. The portion was very small, the currywurst a disaster—no quality, just a cheap sausage. The fries were soggy and undercooked; they could have stayed in the fryer for another two or three minutes. The gypsy sauce was okay, as was the mayonnaise. The service wasn't exactly attentive or friendly; everything was rushed. I sat outside. The atmosphere wasn't very nice because it's right next to the bus station, very loud, and smells of exhaust fumes.

Habe mir hier eine Currywurst geholt mit Pommes auf die Pommes Zigeunersoße und Mayo. Portion sehr klein Currywurst Katastrophe keine Qualität einfach nur eine billige Wurst. Die Pommes latschig und nicht durch hätte noch zwei drei Minuten in der Friteuse bleiben können. Zigeunersauce war okay, Mayonnaise auch. Bedienung nicht gerade zuvorkommend und freundlich alles auf die schnelle habe draußen gesessen. Ambiente nicht gerade schön weil direkt am Busbahnhof und sehr laut und stinkt nach Abgase.

Friendly service, delicious food, good atmosphere

Prompted by a slight hunger and good reviews, I chose the Xtra Wurst Lounge yesterday. When I got there, I spotted two autographed cards with dedications in the window, along with a newspaper article reporting on a visit by two national soccer players. Next to it was an offer for currywurst with gold leaf and champagne. That had me convinced. The staff were friendly, and I didn't have to wait—a plus point. But I was fooled. I opted for an XL fries with mayo and sauce. What could possibly go wrong? For a total of €6.50 (€4.90 for the fries and 0.80 each for mayo and sauce), it has to be something special. (We're not at a funfair or a festival, so it could be something special.) But unfortunately, it turned out to be a disappointment. The fries weren't particularly crispy and had gone soggy after a short time. The sauce was definitely not a highlight; it was just ordinary sauce from a 5-liter bucket, I'd say. The mayo also lacked any conviction. Maybe the other dishes are better, which could well be because the place was busy, but unfortunately this snack bar experience was a disappointment.

I've eaten there twice now, and everything was absolutely fantastic. The sauces are homemade and everything is delicious. The manager and the staff are very warm and friendly. I'll definitely eat there again. It's truly highly recommended.

Because the time card was not immediately notified (one second late), the purchase price was not reduced. It's a shame that the service wasn't courteous when it came to the meal. It seems to me that the waitress had no idea how the cash register works.

I went to eat at the Xtra Wurst Lounge with my partner today. I treated myself to a broccoli schnitzel with fries, and my partner had a delicious currywurst with fries and Joppie sauce. The meal was a feast. I've been eating there for several years and have inspired my partner and friends to eat there more often, too. And I hope the Xtra Wurst Lounge stays with us forever. Inside it looks pretty good for a snack bar, with everything done. The outside area is nice if you like it in the city center... I think it's good.

Super great restaurant with friendly staff. The fries are on point, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with the ideal amount of seasoning. I almost felt a bit overwhelmed by the exciting selection of dishes and decided on the classic. Next time I'll try the schnitzel. The only criticism I have is actually that the same picture is hanging everywhere. :D But that's complaining at a high level.

Great food, very friendly staff, and special requests are happily accommodated wherever possible. The location is very central, so it's not always quiet and peaceful there, but that's not the restaurant's fault.

For the same money you can definitely get more food elsewhere, but it's fresh and hot, there's nothing to complain about in terms of taste and the staff has always been friendly. The restaurant is clean and you can sit well inside and outside.

OMG – what a great shop! By chance we came across the lounge while browsing on the internet and combined our visit with a theater bed. The two employees Jessi and Melli did a great job looking after us and were still super friendly and accommodating even after the umpteenth question from us. Always a smile on your lips - great! Our food was also very good - typical snack food in a loving atmosphere with a lot of attention to detail! The food selection is really top and varied. Small and big hungers are well satisfied with delicacies here. Spicy eaters can also try the “hottest sauce in the world”, which is around 7 million Scoville. Service and ambience harmonize. Nice restaurant snack on the historic Buschmannshofe. Here you can get typical cuisine from the Ruhr area at a fair price. There is a star deduction for the fries, which used to be better and spicier. Still recommended, especially because of the warm service and good prices. :)

Very tasty food, modern, nice seating. And above all I would like to praise the ladies from the service Steffi, Jessy and Nadine. You can't find such kind and child-friendly service everywhere. By the way, beer lovers can choose between Krombacher or delicious Veltins fresh from the barrel. :)

We took a short snack break there during a bike tour. We sat in the outdoor area in front of the restaurant at the end of the pedestrian zone and were able to watch the hustle and bustle of passers-by while we waited for our snack. The service was quite friendly and the food……. Well, let's put it this way: we had an appetite after all!! In Wanne-City we have now gotten to know some recommended snack bars where the food is really delicious...

Onion sausage €4.60 with fries €2.50 / total. Ordered outside at the snack bar for €7.10. Personally, I didn't really like the sausage (it's just a matter of taste), the onions were OK - you can't really go wrong with that, but there was this small, manageable portion of side fries, which would have been good for a little more time in the deep fryer I was finally disappointed.

Was there for the first time. The ambience inside is not my style, but it is neat. I grabbed something to take away from the snack bar outside. The staff is very open, personable and friendly. I can say that the food is fresh and tastes average. There's nothing out of the ordinary that gives me 3 stars for it. Because even though prices have generally increased, I think the snack prices there are exaggerated for what you get. But this is also due to the design of the store, which feels hip and classy.

The two of us, my beloved girlfriend (68) and I (67), were very happy about Jessi and Steffi. Steffi prepares the food and Jessi brings it to the people. They are two lovely women, both of whom are easy to chat with. They ask if everything is okay, how you like it, etc. The food is delicious, the beer is on tap. The decor is playful, furs over retro seat shells, Buddha images and many imaginative ideas invite you to linger and relax. Looking outside you can see the large square. Where everyone is running back and forth and a lot is happening. Going to the toilet becomes a happening, you'll be surprised at how sweet and nice they made it down there. At first I was skeptical about the atmosphere in the restaurant. It was all a bit wicked somehow: hand-made couches with fur covers were treated like kings and prices were also moderate. The food tasted really good. Was enthusiastic. Afterwards I thought differently about the place. Keep it up!

This is not your typical chip shop. The ambience invites you to linger. There is a good selection of drinks as well as draft Pils at a good price. The staff is friendly and courteous.

Currywurst an Blattgold mit Champagner.......ich hab mich dann doch für Pommes, Currywurst und Cola entschieden. Der Imbiss liegt günstig am Beginn (oder Ende) einer Fußgängerzone direkt an einem zentralen Platz mit Wasserspiel. Mann kann nett draußen sitzen. Die Portion war eher was für den kleinen Hunger aber frisch, heiss und lecker.

Hier würde ich nichtmal einen Stern verleihen. Die Portionen sind ein schlechter Scherz. Die Pommes kommen aus der letzten Gosse, ungewürzt, steinhart - schmecken, als wenn sie fünf Monate im Eimer gelegen haben. Die Chefin ist mega unfreundlich, sehr laut, wirkt unhöflich im Umgang mit Kunden und dem Personal. Zum Kundenumgang: Arrogant, rücksichtslos, ambivalent und blasiert! Einige Kunden werden zwar gefragt, ob die Musik zu laut sei. Als ich wiederum um leisere Musik bat wg einem Kundengrspräch, wurde seitens Chefin lautstark über meine Bitte hergezogen und gelästert. Angemerkt: Ich hatte sogar freundlicherweise gesagt, dass ich mich auch nach draußen setzen kann. "Hier sei kein Beratungsbüro...ich solle mir ein Beratungsbüro mieten...es sei ja eine bodenlose Frechheit von mir so etwas einzufordern!" Die Musik wurde dann wieder ungehemmt aufgedreht! Perfekte Kundenorientierung! 😄 Mit meiner Kundin - und übrigens auch privat - werde ich in diesen Gammelladen nicht mehr gehen. Kundenunfreundlich und die Speisekarte ist ein Witz. Für eine Sauce zahlt man 1,90 €. Hurra! Fettes doubledislike!👎👎
