The ladies always try their hardest. Organization works well. Simply call and pre-order. Price-performance ratio is totally fine. You can always eat something delicious here, even on a tight budget!
It's very good that Indian cuisine is finally enriching the gastronomy in Herne. Shalimar offers a wide selection of vegan, vegetarian and other traditional Indian dishes. The⁶ dishes are freshly prepared. The portions are well sized and made from fresh ingredients. Very good price and performance ratio as well as friendly service. Always my pleasure.
Came to the store because of the excellent reviews.
It was great. Everything positive has been confirmed.
Fresh kebab, delicious pizza, fresh salad and also the currywurst were delicious.
Family happy. Within a short time the food was on the table. We'll be back.
Treat yourself people.
UPDATE 05/02/25: I was there again after moving and ordered a kebab and fries. Doner kebab €8.50!!! The kebab was nothing special and in my opinion didn't justify the price at all. You could count the fries on both hands (see picture). Use the small wooden fork as a benchmark: the chip bowl was exactly as wide as a disposable wooden fork is long. Definitely never again!!!
10/14/24 I recently ate there for the first time. Definitely the best kebab in Herne. However, Herne doesn't have any good kebab shops to offer.
What bothers me is the price of €7 for a kebab. Everyone should make money... but you shouldn't enrich yourself. Inflation etc. is ok up to a certain limit, but not €7 for a Herner kebab. The store feels like 2 square meters in size and yet 3-4 employees work there.
Very very tasty food.
If you want to try a different kind of kebab, this is the right place for you.
The prices are absolutely fair, the owner is an absolutely great guy.
You feel very well looked after there.
TOP!
Nice place, nice atmosphere, only the tables are very close to each other, cramped. It is a place where you can have fun in Turkish style, but the prices are expensive and 20 Euros per person for the entrance is too much, I think it is a practice to prevent people from coming again.
