We were there for the Christmas party. The food was quite good, but the staff were rather unfriendly and at times disinterested.

We celebrated our daughter's communion there yesterday. Everything was absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the children were very friendly. Our guests and we felt very comfortable. Thank you so much!

It wasn't what we remembered. The food was better five years ago.

A medium fillet steak was ordered and arrived almost raw. It was then recooked in the microwave, which was clearly audible due to the pinging sound, and was denied by the waiter. The fillet steak was then returned to the table with melted herb butter. This was criticized, and it was served on another plate with herb butter. The fillet steak and the fried potatoes were now inedible.

Top taste, top staff, all in all top. Always happy to come back.

A very nice atmosphere and very good food

Eight of us celebrated my grandma's birthday at Fontäne and were absolutely thrilled! The food was delicious and served quickly. Special thanks go to Habid, whose service was both attentive and entertaining. The youngest member of the group wasn't bored thanks to the aquarium and play area, which made the evening more relaxing for the adults as well. We agree with the other reviews regarding the chairs. Thank you so much for a great evening, and we hope to see you soon!

We met there for dinner with 6 people on a Wednesday in January 2025. Very nice, courteous waiter. Here the question is asked when the guest sits in front of an empty glass. Everyone enjoyed the food very much. The price/performance ratio is definitely right here. Gladly again at any time. Only the chairs are no longer the best, as everyone has noticed, so a star deducted for the atmosphere. Thank you for serving us so well.

We ate at the Fontäne restaurant for the first time today and were very satisfied. If the restaurant hadn't been recommended to us, we would certainly never have been there, because from the outside you would think it was more of a typical Ruhrpott pub and not a good restaurant. The dishes we ordered came quickly and were of good quality and, above all, tasty. There was chicken soup free of charge, and you can help yourself to the main course from the small but very fresh salad buffet. The small team in the restaurant is friendly and works really quickly. The restaurant itself is clean and there is air conditioning. After our first visit, we decided we would like to come back there. Many thanks to the team for the pleasant stay.

Wir haben in der Fontäne unsere Weihnachtsfeier gefeiert und waren voll und ganz zufrieden. Das Essen war lecker und die Portionen reichhaltig. Die Getränke wurden sehr schnell serviert und entsprachen ebenfalls unseren Vorstellungen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der sehr schnelle und außergewöhnlich nette und freundliche Service! Kleiner Tipp: den selbstgemachten Slivovic probieren :-)

Mit Ergänzung nach weiterem Besuch weiter unten: Ein Essen zu zweit, eine Vorsuppe, dazu für den Herrn Rump-Steak vom Rind aus Süd-Amerika (englisch), mit Röstkartoffeln, dazu Prinzessböhnchen mit Speck, für die Frau Spanischer Pfeffertopf mit Rinderhüftsteak (medium), Schweinemedaillon (medium), gebratenen Champignons und Zwiebeln und für beide jeweils noch ein Salat vom Buffet, all das zusammen ergibt ein tolles Mittagessen zu zweit im Restaurant Fontäne. Die Bedienung war äußerst freundlich und nett und das ohne gekünstelt zu wirken, man hatte das Gefühl, dass hier das Personal für seine Kunden und diesen Job lebt. Die Qualität der Speisen war extrem gut. Das Fleisch war gemäß vorheriger Absprache genau auf den Punkt gegart, die Röstkartoffeln hatten eine sehr dünne und knusprige Oberfläche und waren darunter richtig fluffig, die Kroketten standen den Röstkartoffeln in nichts nach, die gebratenen Champignons hatten ein tolles Aroma, welches ich bisher woanders noch nicht genießen durfte. Die Prinzessböhnchen hätte man sich vielleicht ein klein wenig mehr durchgegart gewünscht, unabhängig davon hatten auch diese ein tolles Aroma. Die Vorsuppe war einfach und geschmacklich im Mittelfeld, der Salat vom Buffet absolute Klasse, so frischen Salat wie in der Fontäne findet man tatsächlich nicht in allen Restaurants vor. Das Restaurant ist alles in allem einen Besuch wert. Das Personal, die Küche, die Zutaten, alles Perfekt. Das Restaurant hat zwar einen kleinen Mangel, der eigentlich keiner ist, aber doch in anderen Rezensionen erwähnt wird, es ist die Parkplatzsituation. Es stimmt zwar, dass direkt am Hause kaum ein Platz zu ergattern ist, in der näheren Umgebung sind aber ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten vorhanden und so muss ich der Kritik anderer entgegentreten und muss sagen, auch wir mussten tatsächlich ein paar Meter zu Fuß zurücklegen, was auch keinem schadet. Man muss halt auch nicht immer direkt vor der Tür parken. Ein paar Meter zu Fuß und man wird durch das erwähnte nette Personal und tolle Speisen für die Mühen entlohnt. Wir empfehlen das Restaurant Fontäne sehr gerne. Guten Appetit ------ Ein weiterer Besuch und wieder war es toll, die vorher verfasste Rezension setzt sich in diesem Besuch weiter fort. Fontäne Herne, einfach empfehlenswert.

Haben meine Meinung nach noch mehr Sterne verdient.👍 Eine schöne Atmosphäre dort ein tollen Fisch Teich mit Gold Fischen einfach nur super dort. Daß essen sieht richtig einladend aus und richtig lecker 👍 Der Nachttisch war der absoluter Hammer einfach richtig lecker gewesen kann ich nur jedem empfehlen daß essen hier wird mit Herz und liebe gemacht . Wir kommen definitiv mal wieder.

Eines vorab; einfach super,nettes Personal- und Chefin. Immer freundlich und absolut Gastorientiert. Mit dem Essen macht man nichts verkehrt, wenn man sich die wirklich fairen Preise anschaut. Ich kann dieses Restaurant vorbehaltlos empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne und immer wieder hierher..

Wir waren mit der Familie dort zum Essen. Zum Hotel selbst oder den Zimmern kann ich nichts sagen. Wir waren im Restaurant Fontäne. Sehr herzlich, sehr lecker, sehr gemütlich und sehr große Portionen. Alles hat wunderbar gepasst und wir hatten sehr viel Spaß bei sehr gutem Essen. Der Service war aufmerksam, schnell, freundlich und hat immer wieder Späße gemacht. Alles war auf den Punkt. Einziger Kritikpunkt: zu einem Salatbuffet gehören immer Tomaten und Gurkensalat. Das habe nicht nur ich schmerzlich vermisst.

Sehr schmackhaftes Essen, gepflegtes Ambiente. Sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Mitarbeiter. An der Salatbar muss noch gearbeitet werden. Alles sehr frisch aber auch sehr übersichtlich. Trotzdem kommen wir gerne wieder.

Wir waren mit Leuten dort und wurden von einem sehr aufmerksamen und freundlichen Kellner bedient. Bei dem Essen hatte keiner der 11 Personen eine Beanstandung. Ich würde den gesamten Abend mit einer 1 bewerten. Besser ging es in meinen Augen nicht.
