"Wildes Fräulein" is a Bavarian restaurant in Berlin with a great, cozy atmosphere. We only stopped by for a few drinks and weren't disappointed. However, the service was a bit of a problem: Since we were sitting on the terrace, we noticed that the outdoor seating area wasn't being served – there's definitely room for improvement there. I then went inside and received excellent, friendly, and prompt service at the bar. Thanks to the outstanding staff inside and the great atmosphere, we were still able to enjoy our visit. The one-star deduction is solely due to the lack of service on the terrace.

A fun concept with a selection of popular German dishes. Upon entering, you feel like you've stepped into a piece of southern Germany, which is a delightful touch amidst the hustle and bustle of Berlin. Reserving a table is recommended, and you can easily do so online. The restaurant is easily accessible by public transport and a short walk from Berlin Central Station.

Super friendly staff! Sitting outside in the sun with a fantastic view of the Spree River and the main train station. They even provided blankets! Breakfast was delicious too. Excellent!

This was by far the worst schnitzel I've ever eaten anywhere. Without exception, everything on my plate was a convenience product—from the frozen food section. Yes, even the schnitzel. It was carelessly thrown into the deep fryer, and it came with canned potato salad. Even at a perfectly normal Berlin snack bar, you can get a much better schnitzel than here. This place probably once had a chef who knew how to prepare decent food. But when I was here in the summer of 2025, after the meal—and the far too high bill—I really couldn't say a good word about the kitchen. I would like to highlight the service, however: She was very friendly and attentive—the only bright spot in an otherwise disappointing visit. The location is also great, right across from the main train station. Whoever runs this place: Please show some respect for the restaurant profession and serve decent, freshly prepared food. The way things are currently, it's simply a disgrace. Either cook properly – or close down.

We were very surprised to discover this restaurant in such a touristy neighborhood. But we were proven wrong. Very friendly and competent service, and the food was truly delicious. We'd be happy to come back.

Feedback on our lunch on October 15th - group of 12 people Positives: I would like to emphasize that your online reservation tool is very user-friendly, and the reserved table was ready on time at the requested time. Critiques: The service and kitchen processes were unfortunately very disappointing. Significant delays and uncoordinated serving: - The dishes were served over an extremely long period of time and at completely irregular intervals. - The first dish arrived after about 10 minutes, three more after about 20 minutes. - The majority of the remaining dishes only arrived after about 45 minutes. After 45 minutes had already passed, an employee informed me that the dish I had ordered was no longer available. At that time, no alternative was proactively offered. I had to ask another employee later to be able to order something else. Eating lunch together as a group was practically impossible, as the first people had already finished by the time the last ones got their food. This is a problem for a group of 12 during a limited lunch break. There was no indication from the staff that a wait of 45 minutes or more could be expected or that there were bottlenecks in the kitchen. Given the significant delay, the uncoordinated food distribution, and the inadequate communication regarding the sold-out dish, I can no longer rate this dining experience as satisfactory. An apology for this unsatisfactory lunch break would have been appropriate. We hope you can use these points to optimize your processes.

We wanted to go in for a quick last breakfast before taking our train. The waitress, however, was more interested in having coffee than serving customers. She disappeared to do some administration inside; when I came in to order, she sent me back in a very unfriendly way one saying “we do table service”. Went next door to get a bagel from Coffee Fellows instead. Dear owners: your staff are making you lose business

A nice restaurant with an extensive Alpine-style menu. We had a delicious breakfast. The highlight is the small gondola, where you can sit in complete privacy; be sure to reserve in advance. The outdoor area overlooks the historic old harbor.

Beautiful and well-maintained location. Good beer and delicious cheese spaetzle with Allgäu mountain cheese. I probably would have preferred the heartier medium-aged cheese, but restaurants cook for the majority of their guests, and I understand why they use a milder cheese. The young ladies and gentlemen serving the food are truly remarkable and dedicated, so I was happy to tip them. Update from 10/3/25 It was once again very delicious and cozy. I'm already looking forward to the next time.

We all enjoyed the breakfast. We thought the value for money was completely acceptable. You can enjoy a view of the Spree and the main train station from the terrace outside. We'd love to come back. We only improved on a cheese platter. It was good and sufficient. Did the cheese really come from the Allgäu region? I doubt it. Friendly service.

I got the winerschinzel and it was pretty good but when I ate it all I could think about is how much it tastes like a chicken nugget from the store, it definitely wasn't bad by any means it's a solid 6/10 didn't really blow me away.

We had lunch once, it was nice by the water and there was a vegetarian option. The second time we were told at 8 p.m. that the kitchen was already closed, even though the time displayed was 9 p.m. But it's apparently common in the city to not be able to dine late.

Loved the Location with a beautiful Sunset water view. We were really excited for a German feed (I'm German, my partner is Australian), it's our 1st holiday over here together. We had booked a table and it took quite a while to be acknowledged by staff to then be told to 'sit anywhere', staff and service was quite short and hard to come by unfortunately. The main meals were okay but not amazing. We had the Spätzle which were a little too cheesy from what I remember as 'traditional' and the Cordon Bleu which was ok but nothing special. However the Apple Strudel as desert (with the vanilla sauce & ice cream) was INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS!!!

Well...the location is the best. I can't recommend the food—I had chicken meatballs with mashed potatoes. Everything was clearly ready-made. The meatballs couldn't be eaten with a fork; they were too hard. The mashed potatoes were okay, but they were also a ready-made product. I know what freshly cooked mashed potatoes taste and look like☺️. The salad that came with the dish was the only thing that was tasty. It didn't fill me up, and I'm not someone who needs a large portion. The price of €17.90 is way too expensive.

Unfortunately, I can't leave a good review here. We were sitting outside and, of course, had a wasp problem, which isn't the restaurant's fault. I had a Coke, and a wasp immediately landed in it (the bottle). The waitress saw it but thought it was funny instead of bringing me a new bottle (I hadn't even taken a sip from it or poured it into my glass). The end result was that there were two wasps in the Coke, I didn't get a new one, didn't even have a sip, and still had to pay for it. I also had the potato rösti with salmon and salad; unfortunately, I couldn't eat the salad because it tasted too earthy. It's a real shame ☹️

We had a reservation and were able to choose a table on the terrace. The drinks arrived quickly, as did the food. We chose Wiener Schnitzel with potato salad (€22.50), Leberkäse (meatloaf) with fried egg and mashed potatoes, and spinach dumplings with mountain cheese, salad, and a slice of farmhouse bread (€16.50). The first two dishes were solid. The dumplings were a bit dry, and the slice of bread was completely dry. It was more like half a roll. I didn't understand the point of no butter, no cream cheese, or any spread. When I told the waitress while clearing the table that the bread was very dry, she asked if she should bring me a new slice. I found that very odd. You sit beautifully with a view of the water.

Fairly close to the train station on foot with a view of the river. Possibility of eating on the terrace or inside. The 3 dishes ordered were good and especially the fresh salad. The schnitzel was accompanied by a potato salad with cold vinaigrette. I noticed that one person had fries not on the menu. The order taking was quick as was the service. The only downside was the credit card server was not working, payment only in cash, I think that was exceptional. Relatively quiet, the restaurant only opens from noon and not 11:45.

We found it by chance, which makes us happy. Now we plan to visit more often.

It was our first time at the Wildes Fräulein restaurant, and our impression was very positive from the start. The location is very beautiful (it's close to the water) and the restaurant is beautifully designed. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and fresh; no need for any additional seasoning. Special requests and changes were well-executed, and we also really liked the presentation of the dishes. All in all, a clear recommendation if you're looking for a pleasant evening and are hungry.

Excellent cuisine, beautiful location at Humboldthafen, right next to the main train station. Very friendly service (our "wildly charming" lady was Ms. Louisa!), beautiful view of the harbor basin and the Spree River in the background. Highly recommended! A beautiful location at Humboldthafen, with covered outdoor seating. And that comes at a price: the sandwich pictured is €10.90, and the small soup is €8.90. You're paying for location, location, location. I won't be returning again; there are also benches at Humboldthafen...

Cafe / Cake We stopped here on our way from the main train station to the Charité, which was within our schedule. The coffee and cake were delicious! However, the cake, even though it was beautifully presented, was too expensive! The menu offers a wide variety from morning to night.

Just got back from there, we were waiting lemonade 35 minutes, everyone around us that came after us - they received order before us. My friend went 2x inside to ask what is going on, and finally a man with black hair and beard came to us , rude and loud said - Is this yours ?!?! I said yes, he throw us glasses on the table loud and rude, and he went, without sorry for waiting, without here you are. This is first and LAST time that I went there ( anyway we wanted to go in caffe next to it, I like to go there, but they were already closed ). Service is disaster ! 21.06.2025 - around 20:00h

The staff is friendly and the location is pretty close to the station with a great view on the river. Ordered the Wiener-art schnitzel and it's probably the saddest schnitzel I've seen in a while. Small and thin, with a chewy breading I can only describe as probably made from frozen. Not completely sure what I was supposed to do with the ketchup either. For €18 it's not worth it. The berry lemonade was pretty good though.

However, the service is very inattentive; you're rarely spoken to, empty glasses are ignored, and there's no "please-thank-you" attitude. It's doable, but it's not fun.

Really great atmosphere, friendly staff. BUT THE FOOD... Would be okay for a snack bar... But a schnitzel with asparagus for almost 30 euros, and then this? The schnitzel definitely wasn't homemade (probably frozen food). The asparagus, I've never eaten worse. The hollandaise sauce came from a carton... But the drinks were okay... All in all... It's a nice place to sit and have a drink... The food is a complete disaster...

Good local cuisine, nothing more

The restaurant has a lovely ambience. It's nicely decorated. Cozy. The outdoor area is also inviting to linger. That was the positive thing. If I'm going to decorate a restaurant in an Alpine style, then I should also tailor the staff to that. The music that was playing doesn't fit at all. What would definitely look great is if the staff were dressed in Alpine style. The food was okay. It was nicely presented. But not what you'd expect from Alpine cuisine. The Kaiserschmarrn was probably not homemade. The schnitzel was very thin; you shouldn't be that hungry. The sauce tasted like ready-made sauce. It's better to add bones and vegetable scraps and you'll get a great sauce. In terms of the ambience, we'd gladly go there again. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite convince us. We'll try it again and then we'll see if it was a one-off slip-up or not. The staff were very friendly, too. They were pretty quick with everything. It's a shame when the food devalues ​​such a great pub.

You won't get enough of the Wiener Schnitzel. The Kaiserschmarrn is totally dry and rubbery. You pay 12.5 euros for a children's meal for a 2-year-old child, which we see as discrimination against families. The only thing that was good is the view and the beer.

I was very pleasantly surprised because I had actually prejudged this place as a tourist trap. A look at the menu also shows that there are colorings, preservatives, flavor enhancers, etc. in the food. Accordingly, I ordered a Kaiserschmarrn, which had few unnecessary additions, and yes, it was delicious and beautifully prepared. On a real alpine pasture, the same thing is now served more expensively and worse. If there were more dishes without additives, I would have given it 5 stars. A second beer alongside Büble would also be good.

Bergsteigerschnitzel Viennese style...is served as a wafer thin, with a lot of approval, max thickness 5mm/ on the website the schnitzel Viennese style is advertised as "juicy", which is difficult to distinguish from the "juicy" breading when served in this way/ In the new restaurant culture, less is more expensive, sharp criticism of this, because the meal costs €22.50, contrary to the price advertised on the website €18.50, but you could get veal schnitzel. The dish is advertised with wild mushroom cream, but there were 3 (three!) slices of mushrooms on the cream, no wild mushrooms spotted! Communication and fairness are not applicable here, portion sizes are disguised, overpriced and incorrectly declared
