Real German food. Delicious! The waiters are nice and attentive.

One of the waiting staff remembered me from being there a year or two ago! A table became immediately available and the beer and food were equally as good as the first visit. The inside of the place is also quite a building in itself. Great place, always good food here.

Great Sunday lunch for the whole family, sitting outside to take advantage of the warm Autumn sunshine getting a view of Franzosischer Dom, Konzerthaus Berlin, and Deutscher Dom. The service was very efficient, beer was excellent and very reasonable pricing for central Berlin. Choice of food was broad, it arrived very quickly, all five different meals at the same time, all served hot (on hot plates) - full marks. Helpings were generous and the whole family enjoyed their meals. On vacation in Berlin this was a great place to eat some German food, with great beer and stunning views. Fully recommended.

In Berlin for a business trip, and we enjoyed our group dinner. Food was spectacular, and the dessert was the best part of the meal. Great service, and great atmosphere.

Good schweinsnitzel and potato soup was really delicious. Restaurant is in an old building that adds to the atmosphere. Service was acceptable, but could do with a smile.

Directly at the Gendarmenmarkt. Significantly quieter than the Maximilian. The food is at least as good. The service is very attentive. Bavarian dishes. Good beer. Great ambience.

Beer great! The food isn't that great (at least the sausages and the potato salad) and waiters rarely look at who's coming outside. Otherwise great.

That was just nothing. Unfortunately, this has nothing to do with Bavarian food. There was no bone in the gravy. The chicken was dry and the skin really wasn't crispy. The liver just wasn't good. The food came so quickly that it was simply reheated. The service was very unfriendly, of course we are in Berlin... But if the service and food can be improved, it is difficult to give a better rating. Any Bavarian restaurant would be ashamed of the quality of the dishes. Exciting energy, the bier was in fact one of the best I had in all of germany. Some waiters were professional, personal and freundnlisch. Some not so much. The Haxe was really good as well as the curry bratwurst with French fries. Ambience was best you could wish for. Too bad we missed our favorite waiter by the time we had finished our meal. He was the distinguished gentleman who greeted us with great hospitality.

Delicious pumpkin soup, pork schnitzel and spaetzle. Beautiful atmosphere and impeccable service. Waiter even looked up on his phone to tell us what the garnish was on his plate and found it in English.

We had dinner at this restaurant our first night in Berlin, we were recommended by the Tour Guide. The food is not bad, if you like German food, with sauces and heavy digestion. Our complaint is the treatment we receive. The waitress, seeing us translating the menu, harassed us on several occasions and we finally ordered what she wanted. After eating, and with some speed he began to speak to us in English and German, telling us if we wanted desserts to which we answered No. After 5 minutes he insisted again and we said No again. Then he began to talk about medicinal liquor and he told us several times Free....We said yes. Later he brought us the bill, without asking for it, and told us how much we left him as a tip. I told him 10%. He still hadn't shown me the bill. I told him I wanted to see it and he put it under the card machine. He charged me and I told him again that I wanted to see the bill, so he left. After 5 minutes he returned with his wallet and returned me one euro telling me that there had been a mistake....conclusion: he had charged me for the liquors at 4.5 each, and he had charged a tip of 11 euros, (not 10% which were 6.4 euros) she gave me 1 back and was so calm. On the way to the hotel we began to understand everything that had happened... and getting more and more angry. From the second day onwards, we already had a master's degree in Berlin tips.

We just had a drink there. It was decorated quite nicely. Servants were friendly.

When we arrived, the restaurant was not even half crowded but they didn’t deliver our food until more than one hr later. When everyone else around us had food on their plates. We asked at least 3 times about it. They denied us tap water and bread (which I asked for a 1 year old baby) and made gove the baby a bretzel, so he had something to eat. The waiter said 1 hr later, before serving our food that they didn’t have any more of the dishes we previously ordered, this is the moment when I went to complain, and only then, they served us. By the way, when I went down to the toilette, guess what I found? Bread. They just didn’t want to give it to us, even though we said it was for the kid while we waited for the food we ordered. I would save the bad experience and go basically anywhere else. The food is ok. The Haxe is super fettig and the schnitzel is nothing special. They only decent dish is the sausage plate.

Schinitzel was very poor by Germany standards. The environment and of course the erdinger are beautiful.

Easy to find. Very good traditional German restaurant, food was served very quickly. Good beer options. And price was very reasonable. Only comment was restaurant wasn't that busy and was seated right near the door and that doesn't state that sauerkraut had bacon in it but was very nice. Limited vegetarian options. Nice building, toilets clean.

If you want to pay tourist trap prices for worlds thinnest schnitzel or if you like nasty processed-meat curryworst: this is the place to be! The boulette was reasonable.

We were outside again within 15 minutes, food was served after 2 minutes. Bouncy balls disguised as mashed potatoes. I think everything came from the freezer. Mediocre meat, no, never again Beer is tasty, that's it.

Very pleasant experience we all enjoyed the Bavarian music, which added to the atmosphere. Alex was our waiter and he was super, advising on quantities and always friendly and professional.

Little attended at the beginning, but it filled up by the end. Apparently a popular lunchtime restaurant. There is also a separate lunch menu with really cheap dishes (chicken fricassee for €7.90). I chose the Brotzeit Brett'l (€19.90). It was rich and very tasty. Definitely something for larger appetites.

Excellent beer, very good food. We were in Berlin for 4 days and we had dinner there for 3 days, it's a shame that on the last day they had an event closed for clients and we couldn't have our last beer there…

To start with the good- Erdinger beer was cold and tasty. The atmosphere is really nice although there are some construction works in front of the restaurant and is a bit dusty. The food itself is typical German (Bavarian, ok) and it is different types of sausages or wurst with some salad on side. The meat was good but the salads were tasteless.

Nice Bavarian restaurant with good selection of menu items. The Nürnberger Würstel were good, the Grill Hendl was dry and tasted like it's been under the heating lamp for a while. It's unfortunate that there are only very few germans working in the hospitality industry anymore. It's a pity when you are better off conversing in English with the staff than in my native German. We visited 7/22/24 and spent $45 for a lunch for 2 incl. tip.

It is in a beautiful place, in the Plaza de la Concordia and the food is very good. Advisable

We only went to the toilet here with our 3 year old son, so the rating is only for that. A fee of 1 euro was charged, which we think is OK. It's a shame that the toilet wasn't usable, grossly dirty, no paper. That doesn't add up.

Correct food without more. Prices a little expensive but in line with the city. The staff is not very friendly. Nice and spacious place with terrace.

5 stars! What a nice place to eat and drink something. Complete with the right decor, music and clothing of the staff. Speaking of staff, they are very attentive and helpful and speak several languages ​​including English. For lunch there is a special mittagtisch menu with cheaper temporary dishes that are definitely worth trying during lunch. I received good beer advice from the staff, which I was very happy with. The apple strudel was tasty but unfortunately not warm(!) as they advertise on the menu. They missed a point there, but I was super satisfied. Definitely come back sometime

Stopped here for a beer. The Erdinger Helles Maß was delicious. Great seating options inside and outside. Nice view of the surrounding area. The interior design has a feel-good character.

I visited the restaurant on August 9th and was very satisfied with the great service. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The beer was tasty, so overall a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, I discovered that when serving the beer, the prescribed filling line according to the dispensing vessel regulations (colloquially known as the calibration line) was not adhered to. The glass was just below full. That's why I'm deducting a star.

We were there for a short visit and were helped kindly. Beer was delicious and the flammkuchen was tasty. The view is now a bit less due to the work on the square, but this establishment cannot do anything about that.

THE WAIT STAFF WILL RIP YOU OFF!!! I went to this restaurant with my family and the waiter initially seemed very nice. When we got the bill, I saw something that said MVST 20%. Now, I’m American but learned a little German from middle school all the way through college — I was a German minor. So I knew that in Germany, tips aren’t customary and they usually round to the nearest Euro. But it was my first time abroad and I wasn’t 100% sure about that and had never seen the abbreviation MVST. The waiter was so nice I felt comfortable enough to ask him what MVST meant. He said it meant I was supposed to tip 20% “same as in America”. Those were his exact words. My mom thought that was nice of him and not only tipped him the 20% but something on top of that. I was still wary that the info was true so I checked with my friend who lives in Heidelberg and she got back to me later that night to tell me that MVST means tax and it’s already added to the bill, and I was correct, we should have just rounded to the nearest euro. Instead, we tipped this man something like 30% of the bill (and it wasn’t a cheap bill) because he TOOK ADVANTAGE of a tourist who was just trying to make sure she didn’t stiff the guy on the check. That is absolutely shameful behavior. If a tourist asks you what something means in the service industry, you should respond honestly.

Absolutely recommended!!! Incredibly pleasant and friendly service, the gentleman with the mustache does a fabulous job! If you could give more than 5 stars, it would be absolutely deserved. Drinks and food came quickly and looked fantastic. Food was fantastic. I ordered spaetzle, which came with a small starter salad. Both were extremely tasty and recommended. Price-wise also absolutely great! The portion was enormous and I couldn't even finish half of it. The atmosphere is also very cozy and pleasant. Beer was great too. I don't know where there should be a single point deduction here. Cheers!

Dear Managing Director Miebach & Corolli, Bittr Coach your team cleverly, e.g. in terms of politeness and motivation at work. Some of the non-native speaking colleagues should also be significantly more proficient in German in order to be able to implement customer requests on the one hand and communicate clearly on the other. --- Personal conclusion: So, you can have a delicious beer here, but a rude gentleman behind the counter was totally disrespectful towards me in 2021, as well as today in 2024, when I had a friendly reservation request, (answered with his back turned to me) - accommodating Customer friendliness is apparently a foreign word in this location, isn't it? Here you go, I'll take my larger company somewhere else :)

The service, especially from a rude man behind the counter, leaves a lot to be desired. I enjoyed the food. The room is beautifully and pleasantly decorated.

Nice place and centrical. The food is fine. Not too expensive considering the location. The waitress is dangerous, though. She did not show us the ticket, just said the total out loud and I only later realised she added at least 7 euros that she kept as tipp along with the additional tipp. A shame!

Overall okay, we were full with dessert after the main course.

Quaint Bavarian restaurant in the middle of Berlin

Beer, service and atmosphere deserve a thousand marks. Very friendly and helpful waiter ready to help us with our choices. Regarding the food, the knee was spectacular, the breaded chicken with salad was perfect, the cheeseburger was delicious but the steak left a lot to be desired. We ordered the half meter sausage as a starter and it was very tasty. The outdoor tables are a delight on cool days.

Giving the service 1 star because the waiter kept ignoring us every time we tried getting his attention, took him so long to go to our table that we gave up on eating desert and just wanted to leave. After that, the waiter kept pressuring us to give him a tip

Cozy place with a nice terrace. The schnitzel was delicious and the half chicken was delicious and very tender.

This place has been re-modelled since I last went, and there is no longer a bar you can sit at with a beer. Anyway, there are still plenty of places to sit, and the Erdinger Helles is fabulous.

I often go there for lunch with groups. If there are several groups there, the staff is rather unfriendly, overwhelmed and the food is worse, especially the "goulash"

The location is nice but as soon as you go to order the staff is pushy and only tries to get you to order more. In the end, they force for a tip and if it is too little in the eyes of the staff, they get angry.

Very friendly and welcoming, which made our trip most enjoyable. If you order 3l of weisbier the glass is enormous!! Food was reasonably priced, arrived quickly, and exactly what was expected. Well worth a visit.
