Tegernseer Tönnchen in Berlin

No Bavarian cosiness, no music. Very limited menu, no knuckle, no knuckle of pork, no radish, no meatballs, etc. Roast pork without crust, all convenience. Attentive service and good beer, but not worth a visit for me!

A Bavarian, rustic restaurant in the middle of Berlin

We had a Christmas dinner with friends. The food and the atmosphere were amazing. We had a wonderful time. Special thanks to the host lady, for her recommendations and for making our evening enjoyable.

Brilliant restaurant with a lively atmosphere and gemuethlichkeit dripping from the beer taps! It's a slice of heavenly hash in the alt preussische Bezirk.

Since I lived around the corner in the 2010s, I love the “Tegernseer Tönnchen”. Fabulous Tegernseer Hofbrau Great Berlin and Bavarian style food, genuine and friendly atmosphere, great venue to watch soccer — just a gem in the neighborhood. So if you happen to be in Berlin, go there — specifically in summer, when the beer garden is open. Since I lived right around the corner in the 2010s, I have loved the “Tegernseer Tönnchen”. Fabulous Tegernseer Hofbrau, great Berlin and Bavarian food, authentic and friendly atmosphere, great place to watch football - just a gem in the neighborhood. So if you're in Berlin, go - especially in summer when the beer garden is open.

Quaint inn. Beer and food impeccable, the portions push even the hungriest mouths to their limits.

We like this place. Great home cooking, good beers, nice waiters and they have a great bowling alley in the basement, which we tried out for the first time for a Christmas party. Everyone had a lot of fun.

It was a local restaurant. So, I waited for about 30 minutes. There were only two Koreans, and the employee in the photo was They were very kind and took good care of me. 😎👍🧡 What can I say about the food, it was really delicious. The beer went down very smoothly and was delicious. I think this will be remembered as the best meal I had in Germany. If a friend were to come to Berlin, I would definitely recommend it.

I was in Berlin for a week on business and because I liked the food here on the first day so much, I came back the whole week. I ate 5 different dishes and everything was really, really good. Very large portions - especially the meat portion. The restaurant was always full, so I would recommend reserving a table.

I recently took part in a Christmas party at Tönnchen. Everything was great and delicious. I looked at the menu and went back yesterday to eat knuckles and ate one of the best knuckles I've had in a long time. Despite the Christmas rush, everyone was friendly and attentive and there was a good atmosphere. I also like the whole ambience. It definitely won't be my last visit there. I can only warmly recommend the Tegernsee Tönnchen.

It's stupid when it says on site that it's open from 11.30 a.m. and then when you stand in front of it at 11.30 a.m. it's closed...

Leider hat das traditionelle Lokal sehr verloren, sind jahrzehntelange Stammgäste, Preise für die Spesien sehr erhöht, Qualität hat nachgelassen, z.B. die Soße für die Haxe war früher viel würziger, jetzt wohl Einheitssoße für alle Spesien, Bedienung etwas unpassend für ein bayerisches Lokal, keine Deko zum Oktoberfest, kaum bayerische Atmosphäre, fast unfreundliche Inhaberin, wer das Lokal noch aus der Mommsenstr. kennt, wird enttäuscht sein.Nur das Tegernseer Bier vom Faß schmeckt noch gut und unverändert.

A very great evening with delicious food. I had the cheese spaetzle. Delicious. Huge portion....and no, my colleague didn't make it either...it wasn't my fault😁 But we found the service team particularly great Aaand at the end I actually got an old strawberry from Prinz.....I've asked for it everywhere in vain so far 👌🤩

The food was ok, the beer glass was dirty and the beer was poured into a new, clean glass... that's not possible. If this happens again, the health department will get a message... I've never had that in a restaurant in my life experienced....the waitress (owner) doesn't seem to like working anymore either...she was also the one with the "beer spilling"..

If you like hearty German cuisine, this is the place for you! Ate the first chanterelles of the season today. Delicious served with bacon and onions, parsley potatoes and a small pork schnitzel. Plus well-tapped Tegernsee Pils. We are very satisfied and will be back soon

A culinary delight at a fair price.

The barrel is unique. It's a bit Bavarian vintage but the beer is tasty and the food is good. The prices are ok and you can end your Friday here with friends.

We ended up here by chance. The first impression was nice and cozy. Beer from clay mugs, light, dark and special on tap. The food was really good value for money, my knuckle was super tasty, a really decent portion Also really good: the old schnapps from Austria We will be back definitely

Food tastes very good, though rather expensive. Service is very inattentive and slow, when there are more than one table. Their staff’s focus is clearly on their regulars with others sitting with empty glasses for over half an hour. Beer is good.

The service is good, the food (pork knuckle) is very tasty. Red cabbage doesn't necessarily go well with Kassler. Still, all in all it was good. Rustic atmosphere. Good value for money. Parking spaces are rare!

You can eat well here if you like German cuisine. The dishes are tasty, the portions are decent and the prices are reasonable. Also worth mentioning are the bowling alleys and the opportunity to watch sports here (e.g. Bundesliga football).
