A wonderful, authentic restaurant with the nostalgic atmosphere you'd expect, and a lovely landlady who knows her stuff. The food is plentiful and excellent. We feel very welcome here and look forward to every new visit.

A classic bavarian beerhalle with beer and traditional food. Brilliant beer from and excellent Bavarian brewery. Quite fast service though dishes can take up to 40min to come out. Everything we ate was great - especially the schnitzel. Nice outside area.

It's nice that such restaurants beyond the mainstream still exist in Berlin, the posh capital of Baden-Württemberg 😉 . And they've been around for decades. Great atmosphere, friendly service with that good old West Berlin charm. Good quality, portions that will really satisfy everyone, and fair prices. Everything is just right there.

Super friendly service, a really good bowling alley, the best beer from a chilled clay mug, and simply a fantastic atmosphere! You feel at home and always welcome!

My pork medallions with pepper sauce and salad came to €19.50. The salad with its thick white sauce was okay. The medallions (3) were all cooked to perfection and topped with a salt mixture that was too salty. The salt in the mill was on the table; the chef should have left it out. The rösti (6) came from a bag and was rather dry. There wasn't enough sauce and the flavor was rather bland; only the pepper saved it. I don't need to come back; I don't think the rest will be any better, but I don't need to try it. The service was very nice.

The beer is excellent, served in authentic mugs. The toilet is clean and pleasant. There is a place to sit outside

We had cheese spaetzle and cabbage rolls. Unfortunately, the cheese spaetzle weren't what I'd call cheese spaetzle. They were actually sour cream spaetzle :/ The service was okay, but very impersonal and abrupt. It was okay, but unfortunately, I probably wouldn't go back.

A very long-established, traditional restaurant with a bowling alley. The ambiance is reminiscent of rustic Bavarian inns, and time seems to have stood still. The food is really good and the value for money is good. The Berliner pork knuckle is highly recommended. The service is fast.

A cozy Bavarian-style restaurant with very friendly and helpful service. The food was excellent, and the special Helles beer is highly recommended. There are two cozy bowling alleys in the basement. For larger groups, it's best to reserve in advance. We'd be back anytime, and thanks to the entire team.

We went for dinner with 18 people, à la carte. All the food arrived on time, which is quite an achievement. I had a knuckle of pork with dark sauce, dumplings, and sauerkraut. The food was delicious and, most importantly, the portion was huge. If you like hearty food, I highly recommend the "Tönchen" (a kind of sausage). We'll be back, I promise ;)

A fine restaurant with southern German and Bavarian food and drinks, just as you would imagine a Bavarian restaurant to be. Very nice hosts who are always there for the guests and also fulfill special food requests. The bowling alley in the property is a good opportunity to combine the two: Good, hearty food and sporting activity! Football, not just Hertha BSC, can be watched live. An absolutely highly recommended restaurant with a good price-performance ratio!!

Restaurant which announces closing at 11 p.m. and at 9:15 p.m. announces the closure of the kitchen! Good dishes but hasty service in 30 minutes, no dessert or coffee possible! Gross in summary! You might as well refuse customers... meal in 30 minutes at 3...

Motto carried out very well. Bavarian. Portions are very very large. Quality good. Prices are very low compared to the quantity and quality. A very tasty black pudding, I'm picky, but it was very tasty. The potatoes, the red cabbage and actually everything was very tasty and you could tell it was homemade. Recommended.

Very tasty knuckle of pork, even if it could be a bit larger for the price. In terms of taste, it's definitely the best I've tried in Berlin so far. I'd go back anytime. The last few times we've been there, the crust wasn't as good as it was at first. Not as crispy. Rather tough. It's a shame, so I'm deducting one point.

Hatte zu meinem Geburstag einen Tisch reserviert um mit meiner Frau gemütlich zu feiern. Als wir pünklich hin kamen, wurde uns ein Tisch direkt gegenüber dem Tresen angeboten. Eine Bedienung bot uns dann einen anderen Tisch an, es war ja recht leer. Beim Hinsetzen kam eine andere Bedienung und wollte uns an den zuerst angewiesenen Tisch verweisen und das in sehr unflätiger Weise. Darauf haben wir das Lokal natürlich verlassen. Schade!

I was only in Berlin for one day to attend an appointment at the embassy. However, since my hotel didn't offer dinner, I had to think of an alternative. In addition to the many Italian restaurants, there was also the Tegernsee Tönnchen. In any case, an excellent choice. The restaurant transported me to the ambience of a typical Bavarian inn. And the landlady was alone behind the counter, but as I'm used to on my holidays in Bavaria, she never lost control of everything. Highly recommended ☝️

Wir kommen seit Jahren immer wieder gerne. Bier und Essen sind schmackhaft ( Besonders der Schweinebraten mit Rotkohl, Klößen bzw.Bratkartoffeln).Die Bedienung ist zugewandt und unaufdringlich.Es gibt keine zu lange Wartezeit. Die Einrichtung ist bayerisch- gemütlich.

No Bavarian cosiness, no music. Very limited menu, no knuckle, no knuckle of pork, no radish, no meatballs, etc. Roast pork without crust, all convenience. Attentive service and good beer, but not worth a visit for me!

Fabulous Tegernseer Hofbrau Great Berlin and Bavarian style food, genuine and friendly atmosphere, great venue to watch soccer — just a gem in the neighborhood. So if you happen to be in Berlin, go there — specifically in summer, when the beer garden is open. Since I lived right around the corner in the 2010s, I have loved the “Tegernseer Tönnchen”. We like this place. Great home cooking, good beers, nice waiters and they have a great bowling alley in the basement, which we tried out for the first time for a Christmas party. Everyone had a lot of fun.

It was a local restaurant. So, I waited for about 30 minutes. There were only two Koreans, and the employee in the photo was They were very kind and took good care of me. 😎👍🧡 What can I say about the food, it was really delicious. The beer went down very smoothly and was delicious. I think this will be remembered as the best meal I had in Germany. If a friend were to come to Berlin, I would definitely recommend it.

I was in Berlin for a week on business and because I liked the food here on the first day so much, I came back the whole week. I ate 5 different dishes and everything was really, really good. Very large portions - especially the meat portion. The restaurant was always full, so I would recommend reserving a table.

I recently took part in a Christmas party at Tönnchen. Everything was great and delicious. I looked at the menu and went back yesterday to eat knuckles and ate one of the best knuckles I've had in a long time. Despite the Christmas rush, everyone was friendly and attentive and there was a good atmosphere. I also like the whole ambience. It definitely won't be my last visit there. I can only warmly recommend the Tegernsee Tönnchen.

Leider hat das traditionelle Lokal sehr verloren, sind jahrzehntelange Stammgäste, Preise für die Spesien sehr erhöht, Qualität hat nachgelassen, z.B. die Soße für die Haxe war früher viel würziger, jetzt wohl Einheitssoße für alle Spesien, Bedienung etwas unpassend für ein bayerisches Lokal, keine Deko zum Oktoberfest, kaum bayerische Atmosphäre, fast unfreundliche Inhaberin, wer das Lokal noch aus der Mommsenstr. kennt, wird enttäuscht sein.Nur das Tegernseer Bier vom Faß schmeckt noch gut und unverändert.

Huge portion....and no, my colleague didn't make it either...it wasn't my fault😁 But we found the service team particularly great Aaand at the end I actually got an old strawberry from Prinz.....I've asked for it everywhere in vain so far 👌🤩
