Rustic traditional restaurant with fantastic food. Have been there several times. Ox cheeks and roast wild boar, roast pork, venison stew... simply delicious. Prices humanely. Service nice. Toilets clean. And a great beer garden 😉 is worth it!!

Real Bavarian restaurant in Berlin...

I really liked it at the Weißen Rössl!🙏 The service was great, my special request was also fulfilled.🤩 The food, bratwursts with fried potatoes and sauerkraut, was very tasty. Since it was below zero outside, it was apparently difficult to heat the dining room enough. However, the radiators were hot. Therefore, I recommend the onion look for people who get cold easily. 😉 The ambience is rustic, like a cozy Alpine hut and there is appropriate hearty music playing in the background. Super! 🎶 I will definitely come back in the summer as there is also a large beer garden. 🍺

The Weisse Rössel is a quaint, very cozy restaurant with friendly, quick service. The portions are more than generous and taste very good. The prices can be described as rather cheap considering the portion sizes. I can only say that all of us (5 people) were more than satisfied. We're looking forward to the small beer garden in the summer.

We had a very nice evening. There are only small drawbacks for the pork knuckle, which could have stayed in the pot a little longer and the unfortunately somewhat wobbly chairs. Nevertheless, we would like to come back.

As a Bavarian in a Bavarian restaurant in Berlin, I was pleasantly surprised. Good Bavarian food and an ambience like this are very rare, even in Bavaria. Super friendly service. The only thing missing is the Bavarian dialect ;)

Everything was right, I can recommend the Weißes Rossel

Zünftig bayerisches Lokal mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Die Preispolitik kann ich aber nicht ganz verstehen. Das leckere "Münchner Schnitzel" kostet z.Zt. 17,90€ und besteht aus 2 Schnitzeln mit Kartoffel-Gurkensalat plus Beilagensalat. Die s.g. "kleine Portion" davon besteht nur aus einem Schnitzel, kostet dann aber sage und schriebe 15,90€. Also gerade mal 2,-€ weniger. Ist das verhältnismäßig? Und wenn ich anstatt des Kartoffel-Gurkensalates lieber Bratkartoffel haben möchte, dann muss ich nochmal 1,-€ drauflegen, angeblich weil das bisschen Speck darin so teuer ist. Also beim nächsten mal dann doch lieber ein Doggybag machen lassen, wenn man die Portion nicht schafft.

Hello, I was there with my girlfriend on December 21st, 2024. It really looks very rustic and Bavarian, even sometimes kitsch. We had the Champion Schnitzel and the roast pork. At the pork roast I was asked which cabbage I wanted, this or this or both. I decided to do both. Bavarian Kraut was forgotten when the food was served, ok that can happen. The food was tasty and sufficient. For dessert we ordered ice cream with hot raspberries and a Kaiserschmarrn. Ice cream was ok. Unfortunately the Kaiserschmarrn is not. Very caramelized with lots of almonds and very dark, applesauce probably made from Tetrapak. I love Kaiserschmarrn, but you couldn't eat this. The server brought it back to the kitchen and then told us that this is how it is always done. That should be the case in Austria and Bavaria. I replied that I had eaten it many times in Austria and Bavaria and that it wasn't served that way there. But it was smiled away in a friendly manner. But then I didn't feel like discussing it, after all I was here with a friend to spend a nice evening. Result: It's a shame, but we won't be coming back anytime soon. PS exchanging side dishes like we do from spaetzle to fries costs an extra 1.00 euros. Personally, I think the exchange should be free, it's not exactly a cheap restaurant. For me it's not about the one euro, but about the principle.

Always great to eat here. This year again nothing has changed. It always tastes great there. Hope it stays that way forever. And everyone was super funny and friendly.

The food was top and everyone really enjoyed it. If you like Bavarian cuisine, this is definitely the right place for you. The restaurant itself is very rustic and reflects the theme. I can definitely recommend the restaurant.

Extremely bad experience. We got a table, with no time restrictions. Nevertheless, shortly after we started eating, we were told to leave quickly because of a reservation. We said we needed some time. The man didn't apologize, even said that we shouldn't come back. Incredible.

I was recently traveling in Berlin. May aunt and uncle took me out for lunch at one of their favorite restaurants. This was without a doubt a highlight of my trip. The menu offers Bavarian dishes. I ordered the pork knuckle dinner and my uncle order a Wiener schnitzel. Both meals were absolutely outstanding! A tremendous selection of high quality beers made for a perfect meal and a very special desert that is not readily available in most German restaurants. The atmosphere is off the charts cool, authentic and a throwback to a different town. They have a good size patio as well. I would highly encourage you to find this place and order some of their specialties. Quality, home cooked meal at a reasonable price and incredible portions. It boasts to be one of Berlin’s first German pubs. In highly recommend this place.

Eat tops! Unfortunately service wasn't that great. Maybe it was because the store was extremely full. Our empty plates were still in front of us after almost an hour and unfortunately no one cared about our empty drinks. One can only hope for improvement here!

We've been going to the Rössl every now and then for years... the food has always been good and filling. It's not exactly cheap in terms of price, but the Maultaschen soup is really beyond the price-performance ratio. For 6.50 euros there is a soup (broth with greens) with ONE Maultaschen in it. For 6.50 euros I can easily get 3 packs of 18 Maultaschen in the supermarket. For me, the price asked simply doesn't match the taste. Otherwise, as always, super nice service, rustic and cozy atmosphere.

Great food and very rustic and nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, we almost died of thirst and no one wanted to clear away the plates we had eaten. Most of the 16 guests would probably have had dessert, but they would have had to wait longer for someone. I don't believe. You can definitely do better as a team. Greetings Stefan Mauer

We went to this wonderful Bavarian restaurant for the first time today. Very authentic. The staff is very friendly and competent. The food is very tasty, delicious and plentiful and matching drinks can also be found on the menu. Of course also Bavarian beers and spirits. We had liver dumpling soup, roast pork with dumplings and Bavarian cabbage. And for dessert, Kaiserschmarrn. Highly recommended. There are only a few parking spaces available on/on the street. We will be visiting there again soon.

Quaint atmosphere, super friendly service, delicious food

Now I've been here several times and can say that the knuckle has a consistent and incredibly good quality. The Donisl in the center of Munich should perhaps inquire about how a good knuckle is prepared...unfortunately I have been disappointed by knuckles many times in my life 😅 most recently in Munich 🤷‍♂️ That was even the worst knuckle in my entire life Life!! Thanks now to the best knuckle in my life - in Berlin. I had no hope anymore😉 Of course other dishes also taste great 😅 Best Bavarian beer👍 I like being here!

We were there for the first time. The service is very quick, polite and attentive! The food and drink offering is extensive. The prices are a little higher, but the portions are also very large. There is also an offer of small portions! There are plenty of shaded seats in the beer garden. There are special themed offers on weekdays. The restaurant is recommended. Sept. 2024: have been here several times and would love to come back!

Fun and friendly staff. The food is plentiful and very tasty and freshly prepared. I like going there with the family. The ambience is immediately reminiscent of a good old Bavarian restaurant. The menu is large but still clear and focused on Bavarian and Austrian specialties. Always happy to stop by there and two thumbs up!

Price-performance ratio can still be rated as good. Portions are also really large as half portions. It tastes great and all the drinks are just right, but they have become more expensive. It just is what it is. Nevertheless, you can get good and plentiful food there

Unfortunately, the food we ate on our evening was mediocre. The knuckle could be crispier, the schnitzel had a lot of mustard and little horseradish (my thought), the potato salad lacked a personal touch. No matter, the waiter was great and next time the kitchen will be at full throttle again. If the drinks were a little cheaper, I would drink one more light beer.

Very tasty, authentic Bavarian food with large portions. The waiters come quickly and can help with menu questions. The ambience is nice. You can sit outside or inside in a rustically furnished room. The only not-so-great things are the noise level, which rises quickly inside, many of the pictures hanging in frames at an angle, and the floorboards creaking.

Rustic, cozy, good and rich food, well-kept drinks. Table reservation is recommended.

Update 2023: This time everything worked out and we even got the regulars' table! Many thanks to the Rössl team. We'd love to come back! Of course the food was great again! 2022: All in all a great restaurant. Unfortunately, you get a star deducted because, despite reserving a table >4 weeks in advance, the table A) was not prepared and B) In the end, two of our guests had to sit with their table in the middle of the aisle.

The restaurant has a great beer garden, which is great to sit in. The interior is sometimes quite narrow and the furnishings don't really suit my taste. Unfortunately, the food has deteriorated significantly; back then there were great portions at a fair price. Unfortunately, today you can see that this restaurateur has also joined the practice of raising prices and lowering quality. I am aware that prices have to increase. But if you save on quality at the same time, you will lose guests. It's a shame, but I always liked going there.

Yes, my, it's Gaudi's turn. Bavaria at it's best: cozy atmosphere, friendly and prompt service and, above all, hearty Bavarian dishes, super tasty and served in large portions. All of this at moderate and reasonable prices. If you haven't eaten knuckles with dumplings and Bavarian cabbage here, you can't help it. Just great.

Yes, somehow something was missing... there was a salad with the dish but it wasn't there... the dessert was also over-sweetened... and then an early dismissal.
