One star was too many. They no longer exist and we can only hope that there will be a new, fit management system from spring!

Small little cafe with bread made from the historic mill's flour. The bread was excellent. The platter for two was very good and filling with lots of different cheeses. The seating outside is fantastic with a vine covered veranda and views of the surrounding park and mill. The women working were friendly and helpful despite how busy they were. Only the two women serving 20+ people, so have a bit of patience. The prices were about what you would expect at a major tourist attraction. I wouldn't bother with the Schnitte, it isn't made there.

It's just great if you visit the mill you can stop here. The staff is very friendly.

Don't. Maybe the worst place I've been in and around Berlin and I'm living there for ten years now. Prices are far too high, service is grumpy and dishes are far away from clean. Even glasses still come with the taste of what they were cleaned with. Just disgusting.

We arrived at 5:15 PM (the place suppose to close at 6) and the lady told that they are closed. Nevermind, I don't care if you don't take my money. We bought beers in the mill instead and sat down at the tables. The waitress was still there at 5:45 PM and she ordered us to leave, cause we are not guests of the cafe (although we tried to order 30 minutes ago). Then when I told her I don't really understand her, she said 'Es ist Deutschland and Deutsch is mine muttersprache'. This is unacceptable, I mean this is one of the most touristic place in Potsdam, why would you assume that all your guests should speak German??? And if yes, why do you have to be rude? And why can't you serve us a beer if you are still there for more than 30 minutes?

Are very disappointed. The service was very unfriendly and took out her complete displeasure on the customers. The daily offer according to the menu did not match the dishes that were actually offered.

Food delicious 😃, just too much traffic for just one employee. I'd like to see the boss at Rush Our work here alone for two weeks. Then he would see that one person alone cannot do this in the long term.

“Service desert Germany” and unfriendliness best summarize my impressions of this restaurant. I can only confirm the previous comments. During a visit with friends (5.4.18), everyone ordered something except one, and this one was insulted as a parasite, a bad future for our country and socially incompetent. Simply from the fact that he wanted to sit with his group and just wasn't hungry. (Everyone else had ordered something!) It's unbelievable how you treat your customers and text them while they're consuming the food they've ordered, unreasonably relying on your opinion, sometimes even being disrespectful and simply being unfriendly. We were calm the entire time and tried to mediate the situation, but the service was hardly reassuring.

Today we went on a trip to Sanssouci and thought we would visit the wine bar opposite the mill... that was the biggest wrong decision we could have made. There were no advertised goods, but that can happen. But what doesn't work at all: 1. today is April 2nd, 2018! We bought & paid for 2 x coffees and a bottle of Fanta, totaling €10.00. Our son received a bottle of Fanta with a best before date of January 2018. Since I noticed it at the table, I went to the hostess and, without making any noise, pointed out that it had expired. My son came along and got a conversation saying, "...that has nothing to do with gastronomy or customer friendliness." We were told that the goods weren't bad, we watched enough TV. When asked to receive a Fanta with the correct best before date, my son was addressed in a shameless way: "..we live in a throwaway society and he shouldn't look like that.." I politely pointed out to her myself that it was was not allowed (nowhere was there a reference to expired goods!) When asked again, the hostess was visibly angry with further loud comments and brought a Fanta with the best before date of 02/2018!!! They didn't even respond to my information that it had expired. She literally ignored it. By the way, our money wasn't returned either! To be honest, we have never seen anything so bold. Customer friendliness, annoyed, brash gastronomic behavior 0 stars. Recommendation - clear no. Ps. The gloves are of no use if drinking tubes, food, bottles, etc. are alternately touched with coins and bills.

RIP-OFF, RACISM AND FRAUD (Unfortunately you have to give at least one star.) Hello, we were also in the wine bar today (April 2, 2018). And are not surprised by the previous comment. It's the first time I've written a review about a restaurant or something similar, but it has to be now. Unfortunately we didn't look at the best before date of the ice cream! Today we ordered 2x ice cream and a cappuccino. 1.) The price was €8.40 in total but the waitress said that she didn't have any change and that they should round up because it was Easter after all. But the decision whether I want to round up or not is my decision. Despite a certain lack of understanding, I rounded up. Already a great stitch! 2.) We went to the back with the ice cream and waited for the coffee. We were surprised that some guests came after us and brought their coffee into the dining room, so I went to ask. The employee then immediately claimed that I had already picked up the coffee...it would have been ready to be picked up a long time ago (with a very unfriendly undertone and a condescending facial expression). I explained to her that that wasn't true and asked for our coffee several times. Despite repeated requests, I was abruptly ignored and not given another look. After a few minutes my wife and daughter came over and were also treated rudely. We were told that it was self-service, even though there was no coffee available. But I went to the front to get the coffee myself?! 3.) On top of that, one of the most disrespectful statements I have ever come across was the following remark: "In Germany you can also be sensible." Does this mean that in Germany you can't repeatedly ask for the coffee you've already paid for? Because I have brown eyes and brown hair, I am subjected to racist comments after we are cheated out of the cappuccino we have already paid for. She greeted my wife with the comments "What do you want here? Go! The coffee has already been served!" rejected. Nowhere in the world has it happened to us that you are cheated out of goods you have paid for and are also insulted - and in front of other people. We were humiliated. We regret that the company of the Palaces and Gardens of Sanssouci is able to lease and operate such a restaurant and also acts as one of the park's flagships at this point. We really don't advise anyone to visit this café and support such behavior.

It's a shame that people are saving money here. On the one hand, I would find the service at the table nicer (but I can live with the opposite situation) - The problem is that the dirty dishes are not put in the intended place and remain on the tables. It's a shame, I had to clear up myself to get a table. Location, food, price and friendliness of the staff at the counter would have easily been enough for three or four stars. So I decided on 2 stars...

Das Lokal selbst kann ich nicht beurteilen, da ich es noch nicht besucht habe. 5 Punkte aber für das malerische Gelände rund um den MühlenEingang. Sehenswert.

Divan Döner is located right in the train station arcades and, despite its terrible reputation, has been able to stay there for a very long time. I've more or less completely avoided the store for almost 15 years now, but curiosity drove my wife and I into it at the weekend. The first impression isn't that bad: it's not super comfortable inside, but it's okay for train station conditions. The selection of dishes also looks good at first. What's particularly cool is that there are lots of small snacks like börek and other pastries, which are of course also available at the train station. The prices aren't that great - they're really high and very expensive for a kebab snack bar. I had falafel in bread, a poça with cream cheese and a vegetable quiche, my wife had lahmacun with meat and a small portion of fries. The service was reasonably friendly, but a bit sloppy. My only special request, not to have tomatoes in the flatbread, was registered, but I still got some. Unfortunately the salad itself wasn't good. Super roughly cut. I don't think I've ever had such large blocks of tomatoes before. At least it was easier to get them out that way. The mixing ratio was strange (hardly any onions, but a lot of cucumber) and overall the salad didn't taste much. The bread was super thin, it tore on the side when I first took a bite and after a short time it was soaked through at the bottom It was extremely stupid to eat. The falafel was okay. Nothing special, but I've had significantly worse ones. The sauces at least tasted good and there was even hummus on request. My wife liked the lahmacun, the meat was tasty and looked pretty good on the skewer. Unfortunately the fries were really mangy. The portion was rather small for the price, but that didn't matter because they were barely edible - super thin and still limp and the fat had a very rancid aroma that you could still smell half an hour later. The mayo also came in one of those sad little bags, which is also rather unusual. My Poça actually tasted pretty good, but was super dry. With the vegetable quiche it was the other way around: the consistency was good, but it tasted like this rancid fat. Overall, it was about what I expected - not the worst kebab ever, but no reason to go again. Of course the location at the train station is something special, but then I would expect either a slightly higher price or a slightly lower quality and not both. If you're a tourist or commuter in a hurry and want to eat at the train station: the Potsdam Grillhaus around the corner isn't exactly crazy either, but offers slightly better quality at better prices or you can go to Jasma in the train station arcade - it tastes really good there, even if it doesn't necessarily have to be the classic kebab.

Typically McDonald's, unfortunately also "typical" McDonald's cardboard. Why is so much money invested in advertising when the food still tastes bland?
