McDonald's in Potsdam

I've read the numerous negative comments here. I'm a customer here almost every morning, and I always receive extremely friendly service. I don't know the upper floor. Nor the restroom. The ground floor is clean, has no sticky floors, and is often even decorated with flowers. It's true that some of the service staff don't speak German very well. But if you speak slowly and clearly, it always worked for me. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case in the kitchen. I order the cheese removed from everything. Here, it's not uncommon for it to be missing other requested ingredients, rather than the cheese. That's annoying.

It's unbelievable, the employee isn't wearing any gloves!!! It's disgusting and unhygienic. I've just contacted the health department. This can't go on!!! Worst, most disgusting mcs in Germany There were hairs on my burger and fingernails.

You often have to wait too long for fast food here, and advance orders are rejected on the grounds that it won't be prepared until you arrive. But that's not the point of advance orders, because it would then take too long to get there.

It takes forever to process the order because the food is cold. The tables upstairs are disgustingly dirty. It looks like they haven't been cleaned for days. With the sun low in the sky, you can barely see outside through the windows. There are greasy, smeared handprints on the inside of the windowpanes. I've never seen such a dirty place anywhere else.

Very long waiting time for me to order a simple standard menu in the evening after 9 p.m. over 15 minutes. Very dirty, we were here for the first time but also for the last time

I have to say, this was the worst visit to any branch ever. Nobody, I mean, nobody, spoke German, and English was practically nonexistent. Half of my order was missing, and it was almost cold, even when a friend got something, so service was a 0/5. The cleanliness was so bad that even Bob the Builder would say we couldn't handle it. The floor was sticky, the tables outside were full of trash from previous customers (not cleared away), the restrooms: the soap was empty, the paper towels were empty, and not just for a short time. There was paper everywhere on the floor in the restrooms, and dried urine on the floor. So, all in all, I'd gladly give it a 0-star rating.

It's a regular McDonald's branch, but it stands out thanks to its really good service. We'd gladly go back.

We were here for breakfast at 7:30. The staff seemed to have had a bit of a sleep. The food was cold. The cleanliness was inappropriate. I don't even know when this place was last cleaned. Now I understand why I can't attach any photos. Flies on the windowsill, fries under the chairs, and spiders also feel at home here. Behind the benches by the window, you'll find a full menu.

Special praise goes to the young man with the Eastern European accent. Even though the ice cream machine was broken, he offered us a chilled alternative drink, which we bought – and enjoyed. If you employ employees and staff with such a pleasant customer approach in McDonald's branches, it will have a positive impact on the brand and make a difference compared to the countless unfriendly kebab shops. Hello everyone, I would like to share my experience from today when we went out to eat in Potsdam. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the value for money. It borders on outrageous that the portions were served so dry and there was barely any sauce on them. Furthermore, I noticed that the facilities, especially the restrooms, were in an extremely unhygienic state. This is especially disappointing given that the air conditioning was also off and the entire dining area appeared very dirty. I generally don't have a problem with prices as long as the quality and cleanliness are good. However, in this case, that wasn't the case. Another point of criticism is that the staff at the checkout didn't even speak German, which is completely unacceptable in this situation. I hope these points will be addressed in the future, because expectations of a pleasant restaurant visit are certainly justified at these prices.

The Albanian brother on the early shift at 5:45 was fantastic; top-notch service at that time of day. Everything was fresh and delicious, and there was a little treat included. Please promote this colleague to shift manager!

I ordered the dragon tongue ice cream and was brought a regular McFlurry. I was really looking forward to the blue ice cream. What a shame!

Drove there at night. Ordered nuggets, small fries, and a chicken burger. Woke up five hours later with stomach pain and nausea, then spent hours hanging over the bowl. There? Never again!

Honestly, McDonald's... what's up with that??? I get my food, pay for everything, get home – NO fries, and TWO wraps are missing??? What did I pay, please? For a bag with a burger and nothing on it, or what?! This isn't the first time – I've really had enough. Look in the bag before you close it!!! Never again from that store. 👎

For a long time, the Maces in the main station was the measure of disgust. But things are going well there now. Here it's even worse. And it's not the staff's fault; there's no structural emphasis on cleanliness at management level. Everything is so fundamentally dirty! Everything is dusty, the children's play area isn't just dirty, it's disgusting! It hasn't been cleaned since it opened. Some of the furnishings are shabby and full of holes. You can see where a milkshake has spilled off some of the stools. We've never been able to sit down at a table without asking for a cloth. Apart from that, we haven't had such poorly made, soggy fries in a long time.

1 star – Never again! We ordered and paid for our food as usual – but we didn't get anything. After a long wait, we politely inquired, but instead of a solution or apology, we only received annoyed looks and excuses. I went to McDonald's today and ordered two plain Egg McMuffins. After waiting 25 minutes (!) – which is completely unacceptable for fast food – I still hadn't received anything. Despite repeated inquiries, I didn't receive a reasonable answer or apology. In the end, we left – without our food! Such poor service is absolutely frustrating. When you're waiting that long, you expect at least clear communication and, least of all, that you get your food at all. Truly disappointing – that's how you lose customers.

The burgers looked so bad, I've never seen that at MCD before... as if the burger man had thrown them into the boxes

McDonald's hasn't been this bad in a long time. The McRib had almost no sauce on it, the cheeseburger had no sauce at all. The fries didn't have a single salt. I haven't had such bad food at the Golden Seagull in a long time.

I ordered a burger, specifically without tomato. When I got home, I discovered there were two slices of tomato on it. I have an allergy, and I had to throw it all away. I'm disappointed and angry that customers' health and lives are being played with like this.

It's really, really bad there. It's dirty. There's trash everywhere. Ordering takes an extremely long time. They handed us the bag, but I found it too small. I checked the order, and half of it was missing. The employee was extremely unfriendly and already knew exactly what was missing. Absolutely outrageous. Never again!

I've been standing in the drive-thru for 20 minutes, with a car in front of me the whole time, and NOTHING is happening!!! This hasn't been fast food for a long time, it's the same shit every time.

In the restaurant you can sit downstairs or upstairs. The view from the top is nice. Order only at the machine with touchpad or via app. I recommend using the app, it saves money because otherwise things can quickly get expensive at McDonalds these days. You can have your order delivered to your seat (take a board with the pickup number with you) or pick it up yourself at the counter. At lunchtime everything was fresh and prepared quickly. However, peak times may take longer.

The worst McDonald's I've ever seen. Dirty to the point of not working anymore and even though it wasn't full, the waiting time was extremely long, including incorrect food that was brought and then took another 10 minutes. The parking situation is also underground, especially if you want to drive back down. All in all, there is definitely a lot of room for improvement here when it comes to service, internal processes and cleanliness!

The outdoor playground is being redesigned and should be ready at the beginning of April in the 15th week. The employee was just very nice, including to my boys! I can only recommend we will definitely come back! The visit was still an experience because we were able to watch the excavators.

Pre-ordered via the app last night, everything in my order was there while I was driving, when I was paying the McRibb was suddenly no longer available and was therefore removed from my order without prior notice. I then paid for the first order and placed another order at the terminal while waiting. This was finished pretty quickly. But after I said that I was still waiting for the other order, the employee told me he didn't have one. Then, in all seriousness, his employee pulled the crumpled up order slip with my number out of her trouser pocket, where it was clear that it had been paid for, and then said somewhat succinctly, "...but it's for takeaway..." I've never experienced anything like that before. It's best to drop a paid order under the table and hope no one notices. I also found it more than audacious that my first order was changed without notice. If I had paid in advance when ordering in the app, I would have been stuck with the costs again

I waited too long for my order not nice employees

I was just there digga toilet of death rancid, one toilet was pissed on, someone painted the other with shit, that's not possible, where I was pissing, I suddenly vomited when I entered the toilet and in the cubicle itself I had constant gagging sensations due to the stench and the excretions left behind. Food and service was ok, otherwise good too...except that there was some algae in my cola and some rotten pieces (picture attached of the algae) after which I left it alone. Wouldn't visit the MCS again. Listen to me and stay away broskis 😭❤️🙏🙏. Was also stared at strangely by some creep.

Well, I'm here most Sundays and apart from one or two mistakes I can't complain. The staff was always friendly, orders were warm and complete (which is something special at Mc's these days), and the longest I had to wait was about 15 minutes, although the store was really full.

Waited an hour and a half for delivery, acceptance was confirmed and the money was debited. After calling I was told there were no drivers today. I was told to cancel the order and the employee couldn't help me any further.

The burgers don't live up to expectations visually, nor do they taste good either. Unfortunately, this experience is common in the industry.

If slowness had to be redefined in a fast food restaurant, you would find all the references here. Mekke's food is like eating Mekke's, you like it or not, but the fact that you sometimes have to wait 20-25 minutes for your order in an almost empty shop and that you could sole the employees' shoes while walking is really almost remarkable. Here one would wish that the company would run into the store every week with a stopwatch and check the specified standards. The fact that the orders are simply marked as "delivered" in the system, so that there is no bad balance, also means that an order seems to be forgotten a little.

Endlessly dirty and very unfriendly employees and this at a busy train station where you don't have much time because the trains can't wait. Typical for a tourist restaurant because they rarely come back! This branch is taboo for me!

I wanted to order two menus from McDrive with my girlfriend. As a precaution, we selected the menus with our cell phones and then just stated the numbers at the ordering counter. These were simple menus, not coupons. But the employee took the money for one meal and told us to drive another round, queue again and wait to order the second meal. We were told they could only order one per car. This is really outrageous! Customer friendliness is zero; Internal operational problems are disrespectfully passed on to customers. It took a lot of time to explain that it makes no difference to us whether we receive the two menus as one, two or more orders. One could understand that for operational reasons it is impossible to complete two orders for a car at once. For example, a customer-friendly and solution-oriented employee could have offered to put the two menus on one bill or find another solution instead of simply sending us to the front of the queue!

I was there yesterday with my wife. My wife ordered something at the machine and she ordered something wrong. She wanted to correct it with the checkout staff but the boss was very disrespectful and didn't do that. Then I went there and told him that it was his job to correct the wrong order and we would pay for it, but he still didn't correct it. The boss was very disrespectful. Because of the boss's rude behavior, we didn't take our order.

Ordered at McDrive and only got half price for individual prices. Instead of a menu, everything was available individually. For 9 nuggets only 1x sauce, ... The two ladies at the first counter were talking in some language that neither of them understood and apparently neither of them understood our language. The only positive thing is the employee at the 2nd window. He was very friendly and helpful and found a competent solution. Otherwise, as I said: complete catastrophe. Food was still good.

28 minutes waiting time in the restaurant after ordering in the restaurant at the service point. Not the toy promised in the Happy Meal but from campaigns long ago (once again). Once a year and just for the love of the children. Would not recommend eating here.

What really stands out are the employees, who work incredibly quickly and are very friendly. It's now very rare to find something like this at other locations.

We were there this morning - the men's toilet stank, one toilet was leaking water (you were practically standing in there). No towels to dry your hands and quite dirty! No toilet paper in the women's toilet! This evening we were there for the very last time -> no towels to dry our hands in either toilet. No more drinks except for Fanta or water! Overall, the branch is very dingy and apparently very poorly managed.
