Pommesfreunde in Potsdam

Ich habe per Lieferando bestellt. Diese Bestellung kam nie an.ich habe nach fast 45 min dort angerufen. Kein Mitarbeiter ist ans Telefon gegangen. Als endlich einer am Telefon war wurde nach 10 min diskutieren einfach aufgelegt. Bei Ankunft im Laden wurde ebenso diskutiert. Ich habe Lieferkosten bezahlt was mir nie geliefert wurde. Mein Essen war letztendlich kalt und hat nicht geschmeckt. Dazu hat das Essen nicht 1 zu 1 wie auf den angegebenen Bildern übereingestimmt es haben Soßen gefehlt. Empfehle ich nicht weiter

Moin , die ganzen negativ Bewertungen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen , hatten Süßkartoffelpommes und Currywurst , war beides sehr gut frisch zubereitet , auch die leckere Spezialsoße , Majo und Barbecu Sosse waren gut ! Preislich im Rahmen Standort Bhf.

Der Service war sehr freundlich, die Pommes waren gut, die Burger sahen gut aus, das Gemüse war frisch, die Sauce aber sehr fettig, die Brötchen fielen auseinander und die Veggiboulette zu hart. Die scharfen Käsenuggets nur Fett mit Schleim. Pommesfreunde hört sich nach einer Kette an. Wir gehen leider höchstens für Pommes wieder rein.

Wir haben gerade dort gegessen. Zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder. Die Bestellung war unkompliziert, das Essen kam schnell und ich war positiv überrascht, wie gut es geschmeckt hat. Sauber, gut organisiert und lecker. Perfekt für junge Familien, die auf der Durchreise etwas zu essen suchen.

Der Chickenburger mit Pommes war fantastisch und die Mitarbeiter Roshen und Prathiksha (das Mädchen mit der Brille) waren sehr freundlich. Der Service war erstklassig. Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Für Service und Essen vergebe ich 5 von 5 Sternen.

Leider gab es keine Kartoffeln mehr, angeblich waren alle schon aufgegessen 🤣, aber der Service war gut! Aber eben keine Kartoffeln 🤣🤣🤣

Leider kann ich keine vollen 5 Sterne geben. Ich hatte „Guacamole Fries (Süßkartoffel Freunde)“ bestellt, habe aber nur einfache Süßkartoffel Fries ohne Guacamole und Tomaten erhalten. Mir ist das erst in der S-Bahn aufgefallen, als ich schon unterwegs war – das war wirklich enttäuschend, da ich mich sehr darauf gefreut hatte. Ansonsten war alles in Ordnung, aber ich hoffe, dass beim nächsten Mal mehr auf die Bestellungen geachtet wird.

Völlig überfordert die Dame hinter dem Tresen. Bestellungen dauerten sehr lange. Und dann noch das falsche Essen bekommen. Sie wollte das dann neu machen, nein danke, ich warte nicht nochmal 15 Minuten. Nie wieder.

Ich habe DOPPELT bezahlt für ein Gericht und bis heute wurde mir nix zurückerstattet. Außerdem sehe ich dort regelmäßig Mäuse und Ratten im Laden direkt neben einem rumlaufen wenn man dort isst. NICHT ZU EMPFEHLEN!

Einzige Halal Burger soweit ich weiß

Köstliche Pommes, riesige Auswahl an Saucen.

Es war der schlimmste Restaurant Besuch seit langem! Auf dem Bürger wurde unter dem Patty und oben drüber einfach nur Sauce rauf geknallt! Nicht einmal Salat oder irgendein Gemüsestück. Pommes war matschig und nicht knusprig. Viel zu viel Sauce auf allem. Nie wieder!

Das Personal versteht kein Wort deutsch oder englisch, demzufolge ist keine Kommunikation möglich. Das Essen ist preis-leistungsmäßig sehr schlecht und man muss über 20min darauf warten, obwohl nur 3 andere Personen im Laden sind. Dazu kommt noch, dass mehrere Leute die nach mir bestellt haben, das gleiche Essen früher kriegen. Unbedingt vermeiden, bei diesem Laden zu essen.

Ich bin Stammgast. Sie haben den besten Veggie- und Hähnchenburger. Ich empfehle immer die Käsesauce zu den Pommes. Der Hotdog ist total unterschätzt. Ich fand ihn super. Ich bin immer zur Mittagszeit hier. Manchmal ist es etwas voller, aber insgesamt hatte ich immer gute Erfahrungen. Falls es mal ein Problem mit meiner Bestellung gab, wurde es sofort behoben.

Absolut enttäuschend und respektlos. Die Bestellung kam kalt an, Getränke haben komplett gefehlt, Saucen waren zerdrückt und die Portion war lächerlich klein für den Preis. Ich habe im Laden angerufen und das Problem geschildert – mir wurde einfach aufgelegt. Erst danach bekam ich das „Angebot“, ich könne selbst vorbeikommen und eine gratis Pommes bekommen. Erst beim dritten Anruf wurde überhaupt erwähnt, dass die fehlenden Getränke berücksichtigt werden. Dass man als zahlender Kunde, der sogar Prioritätslieferung gebucht hat, so behandelt wird, ist unfassbar. Fehler können passieren – aber der Umgang damit war einfach nur unprofessionell. Definitiv das letzte Mal.

Meine Freunde und ich waren gestern um 21 Uhr dort, und die Bedienung meinte, sie würden schließen. Dabei war noch eine halbe Stunde Zeit. Sie hatte aber überhaupt keine Lust, uns zu bedienen. Bitte schulen Sie Ihre Mitarbeiter.

Alles schlecht: Es wird nicht geheizt und ist kälter als in der Bahnhofshalle. Das ist wohl absicht um Geld zu sparen. Es wird unnötig Müll erzeugt indem kein Mehrweggeschirr angeboten wird. Umweltverschmutzer! Zubereitung sehr langsam, man muss schon mal mehr als 10 Minuten (bei wenig Betrieb) auf eine Currywurst mit Pommes warten. Kein WIFI. Produkteinsatz eher billig (es wird nicht transparent mitgeteilt, wer bspw. der Wurstlieferant ist ["Unsere kommt aus einem Familienbetrieb mit über 300 Jahren Erfahrung"]. Antworten auf die Rezensionen hier KI-generiert. Das heißt, die Mühe ist umsonst (wird ja, wie man an den Rezensionen sieht, auch nicht besser), die meisten Kritikpunkte dürften schon bekannt sein, aus Sparsamkeitsgründen wird jedoch nichts verändert. Trotz all o.g. Einsparungen recht hohe Endverkaufspreise. Abzocke!

War heute bei Pommes Freunde und ehrlich gesagt war’s echt enttäuschend. Obwohl nur zwei Leute im Laden waren, hat alles ewig gedauert. Als das Essen dann endlich kam, war es schon kalt – und meine Bestellung hatten sie zwischendurch auch noch komplett vergessen. Für die Preise hätte ich echt was anderes erwartet. Leider kein guter Besuch.

Poppigen Pommes, kaum Wurst... für 10€

Pommes "Dicke Freunde" waren knusprig schmackhaft wie Pommes sein sollten ...und dazu gibt es neben Ketchup eine interessante Auswahl würziger Saucen . Service war soweit auch okay .Dass wir ganz "Dicke Freunde" werden , glaube ich aber nicht dafür ist vergleichsweise zu teuer , aber andererseits für einen Bahnhofsstandort vertretbar

Schlimmste Pommes die ich seit langem gegessen habe.

Kurz nach 20:00 da, alles ist schon weggeräumt, es gibt nur noch (fast kalte) Reste. Beinah 1,5h vor der Schließung. Ein Stern ist noch zu viel.

Ich war bereits mehrmals in dieser Filiale. Bisher war alles OK. Etwas teurer, aber i. O. Heute war ich zur Mittagszeit dort und habe eine große Portion Pommes bestellt. Was ich bekommen habe war deutlich weniger als sonst. Die Schale war nicht ganz befüllt. Außerdem waren die Behälter von einigen Saucen leer. Ich komme definitiv nie wieder zu dieser Filiale.

Portionen eher klein. Preis Leistung nicht ganz stimmig.

I couldn't buy a currywurst without a drink, which is pretty cheeky. Then there were no proper fries, so I had to switch to sweet potatoes. They weren't very tasty either. The sausage is just cheap, and you can taste it. I can't recommend it, and all for almost €13.

None of the vegetarian options listed on the menu were available. Sorry, then they could just write on the menu that they only serve fries for meat eaters.

The wait is far too long, especially when you have to move on quickly from the main station. And the fries are unfortunately undercooked. It's a real shame.

My girlfriend and I got 2 normal potion fries and 2 cokes. We waited 40 minutes for them and they threatened us with the police because we supposedly already got our food, which isn't true. 0 stars, that's just not okay.

Food was forgotten/not delivered, and sometimes the food was completely different from what was ordered. This is the second time! Very disappointing. Fries were ordered separately, but they were simply thrown in with the currywurst. As a result, everything became soggy and no longer tasty.

I imagine something different with "Pommes Freunde." Far too expensive, and the fries don't even taste good. The burger tasted good. But three fries and a burger for €37 is definitely not worth it.

Absolutely rude I reserved a goodie bag at To God to Go, drove there, and it was simply closed... The app explicitly stated that it was ready for pickup from 9-9:30 p.m. I got there at 10 past 9 p.m. The website also says they're open until 9:30 p.m. Not recommended!

Bad Experience at Pommes Freunde in Potsdam Central Station Unfortunately, I have to share another negative experience with "Pommes Freunde" in Potsdam Central Station. Insane prices for meager portions, the fries (which, given the name, you'd expect to be really good) taste like nothing, or rather like cheap disposable cardboard cups. Truly sad. And the staff are just as eager to work as Arno Dübel...

We placed an order, and shortly after placing our order, we were told by phone that they were out of fries (fries fans 🤔). Cancellation wasn't possible; we were given nuggets as an alternative. So far, so good. The delivery arrived, but it wasn't complete. A refund isn't possible; we were told to come and pick them up - we paid a delivery fee, by the way. The food was cold upon arrival. Tasted okay. We won't order again, though, as it's too expensive if something's missing or the selection isn't right.

The employees are extremely slow and occasionally forget something. Very uncoordinated. Furthermore, the value for money is very poor. 6 euros for a really small portion, and the thick fries were always sold out. The food was okay. There are 6-7 sauces. The place is unfortunately a bit dingy and dirty.

Unfortunately, our experience at Fries Friends in Potsdam was very disappointing. The service was already problematic because the employees spoke neither German nor English and, when asked, simply pointed their finger at the menu without giving any further explanations. We actually wanted to leave, but the kids were hungry, so we gave the food a chance. Unfortunately, we were disappointed: the children didn't like the fries at all, so we ended up having to go to McDonald's. Unfortunately not recommended. Ordered here today. The fact that delivery on a Tuesday takes 1 hour and 40 minutes, for a journey of 9 minutes, is difficult. Guacamole wasn't particularly tasty, little tomatoes

Food was delivered cold, ice cold. But the delivery driver was supposedly to blame. Not edible. And New York style is with sauerkraut, that what was popular was Danish HotDog. Because of the bratwurst!!!! in the HotDog probably more Thuringia style. Contacting us wasn't productive either. Service idea 0.0. So all in all bad. Never, never again.

“Potato enjoyment stamp in the Cathedral of Progress” is the shortest of all short descriptions. Delicious fries in different strengths (and potato type, there are also sweet potato sticks), delicious burgers, vegetarian on request and at no extra charge, Halal for a very small additional charge (50 cents doesn't make the burger fat any more), currywurst variations (here also vegan options), reasonable prices, conveniently located in the main train station. What else makes the fries friends special: Sweet loaded fries variations for dessert. A visit to the French fries friends in the state capital's long-distance transport hub is definitely worth it.

I ordered a menu to pick up via Lieferando. Unfortunately, sweet potato fries were out, but I had paid for them... After discussion, they gave me one euro back. A snack bar that specializes in fries and offers a range of loaded fries options sounds great in theory. But as with large parts of the catering industry in the train station arcades, the fear that no effort is being made here has once again come true, as they mainly serve walk-in customers and tourists anyway. Unfortunately, the guacamole fries were and still are the only vegetarian option for Loaded Fries. In my opinion, there was too little sauce and too many tomatoes on them and, like the hot dog, it tasted very bland - no comparison to the hot dog snack bar in the city center. They're all really nice people and the job at the deep fryer is definitely tiring, but both times they weren't particularly friendly and, above all, it was always a bit awkward to order there because they don't speak German or English well . The first time they even wanted to make me something different than what I ordered and it took a while to sort that out. It wasn't quite as bad the second time, but still a bit awkward. Unfortunately, the second time it was the fries themselves that were the problem, which is unfortunate if you only order fries and the shop is called “Pommesfreunde”. The cheese dip was quite salty, but otherwise okay and nice enough there is a sauce station with a pretty good selection that you can help yourself to, which is pretty cool. Considering that you are in a train station snack bar, the atmosphere is quite cozy and it was clean both times. Still, I probably won't stop by again if I just don't like the food here.

You can do it. I ordered Thick Friends and a little later the Thin Friends were handed to me. Unfortunately I can only confirm the communication difficulties. I also mentioned the whole thing, but didn't insist on the fat ones so that the other stuff wouldn't end up in the trash. Nevertheless, in such cases one could also be accommodating. The fries themselves taste okay to good. Some of them have eyes and can then be sorted out. What I don't understand, however, is why, as a chip shop, you don't make the potato stalks yourself. The main thing that impresses is the sauces, where you can choose from eight different ones. It should be noted that unfortunately there is only one standard mayonnaise. A larger selection of mayonnaises would be desirable here. The ambience is beautifully done, which is a compliment, but the shop is not air-conditioned and is far too hot. Conclusion: Pretty average but still tasty fries and still a lot of room for improvement.

I'm pretty disappointed with the store and now it's become too stupid for me. Burgers are okay but the staff is so incompetent that it hurts. I ordered Monday's special menu - on a Monday - and the dear gentleman behind the counter said it wasn't possible because it was only for Monday. Ahh yes... Another time, too much was charged to my card because, I admit, I put it on the device too quickly without looking. When I pointed out the error, they said the order would be canceled afterwards, but I should pay for it again. I did so with a clear conscience and now I have eaten a burger for the price of two. Ahhh yes... A bit annoying... Be smart, go somewhere else :)

We were here on a Friday evening at 8:45 p.m., it's open until 10 p.m. We only got one type of fries and had the choice between 3 types of bratwurst that were already warm. We didn't get any more hamburgers, everything had already been cleaned. The problem with the mice is still not solved.

I recently visited the French fries friends in the train station arcades in Potsdam with a friend. Unfortunately, after we ordered and sat down, we discovered a mouse running across the floor. When we asked the staff about it, they didn't seem surprised. We were told that they know there are mice there but can't do anything about it as setting up mouse traps is illegal. We decided we couldn't continue eating under these circumstances. The staff assured us that the mice couldn't get into the kitchen, but we noticed that there was only a swinging door between the dining room and the kitchen that didn't reach the floor. During the discussion we saw a total of three mice running around on the floor. Ultimately we decided not to continue eating and asked for our money back, which was refunded without any problems. However, there was nothing more than a short “sorry” and a refund. Unfortunately the experience was very disappointing and we will not be coming back!!!!

Today we spontaneously visited the French fries friends in the main station. We decided on 2x fries + currywurst to eat on site. These were also freshly prepared for us. Shortly after we sat down with our food, a mouse darted past us. Shortly afterwards two more. We immediately objected to this and no longer wanted to eat the food. The staff refunded us the price we paid and apologized several times. During the “cancellation process” we were able to continue observing the three mice in the guest room. An unbearable situation, simply disgusting.

The burger was at least quite juicy, which I liked, but nothing special. The fries weren't quite to my taste. I expected more given the name of the chain. The store itself is nicely decorated and the staff works quickly and friendly. The prices do not match the service or products.

Otherwise there are free sauces but that's about it. For the food and service, the prices are beyond bottomless. Bullshit prices for bad food. Not even half the price would be appropriate. Overall not tasty. We were disappointed. The prices quoted cannot be justified by anything! When you call, you immediately get "in English please", which makes it difficult to express your concerns/complaints over the phone.

We didn't want to risk anything and so we just ordered a normal portion of “Fat Friends”. We also wanted a cheese sauce, but since we aren't the biggest fans of the chili cheese sauce listed on the menu, we just wanted to order a normal cheese sauce. This resulted in communication difficulties with the staff, who could speak little or no German. But for us it wasn't a problem because we can speak English. Additionally, the cashier needed assistance from another employee to add an extra order (cheese sauce). It all ended in us having to pay 80 cents for our “cheese sauce”. After waiting for five minutes in the tastefully and modernly furnished “restaurant”, we were very shocked to receive our fries. As a so-called “cheese sauce” we were served two carelessly slapped cold burger cheese slices on our fries. The fries actually tasted delicious and the mayonnaise and Joppie sauce were also tasty, but we won't be coming here again.

Where do you start? I wanted to satisfy my hunger after school with my friends and came across the “Pommesfreunde” shop in the main train station. From the outside, the ambience and food appealed to me, so we decided to give it a chance. When we decided on the “Fat Friends”, we wanted to order cheese sauce with it. Unfortunately, there were communication difficulties here, which were probably due to the staff not speaking much German. She asked us again and we replied “cheese sauce”. So we sat down and waited for our fries, we observed the shop and found that it was quite well decorated. Unfortunately, when we got our fries, we discovered that instead of cheese sauce, we were given two slices of cheese slapped on top. This surprised us at first, even though the cheese was still cold. How can such a misunderstanding occur? Don't the staff know what they're selling? In any case, the mayonnaise was quite good and the Joppie sauce tasted like it came from Ömchen at home. In summary, the whole thing wasn't worth the €6 and I probably won't be back soon. A pity!

Unfortunately the wrong one arrived... And for “french fries” the fries were terrible!!

Sauces are free and taste good too. Joppie sauce was ok, the rest was rather tasteless. I find loud radio including advertising annoying. Even the table where the employee eats is not wiped down afterwards. On closer inspection, this poor overall hygienic impression extends throughout the entire store.

The food is nothing special. For a chip shop, the fries taste like those in the supermarket, even though the ones in the supermarket taste better. Come up with something, otherwise you will lose customers!

I ordered cheeseburger and fries and it was absolutely delicious. Crispy and salty fries and lots of cheese in the cheeseburger was absolutely awesome. But yes, had the same problem as everyone. Black hair in the court, it shouldn't be like that.

The sweet potato fries were awesome. The many sauces invite you to try them. Despite the late hour, the service was friendly.

The food was simply great, the staff were nice, the food tasted fantastic but it was also a shame that it had to be at a main station
