Impossible customer service. You can also answer a normal question normally, but not here. The operator's behavior no longer has anything in common with a "friendly" Franconian manner. I always liked to stop here...today was the last time. Apparently I'm not the only one who finds this behavior impossible.

I come by occasionally when I'm passing by and take the time to delete my message. It's easy to get chatting to the friendly people at the next table. The landlord and the 1 lady at the closet are always very friendly. I ate a crusty roast with salad and fresh dumplings last Sunday, 08/09/24 👍👍👍. I'd love to come back. Kind regards

Nice beer garden on the bike path

Actually nice, but often too. E.g. Wednesday at 7:15 p.m....

Anyone who has visited this unique place with its special flair, no matter what time of year, will come back again and again. And be it just to listen to the sound of the water rushing over the lock wall, or to drink a cold beer under the trees, at simple wooden tables and benches, or perhaps enjoy one of the hearty warm or cold dishes. All of this is what sets the “Weißes Häusla” apart! However, if you expect a liveried waiter to serve a menu at the table, you've come to the wrong place. But if you want a simple, good and inexpensive stop, this is the right place for you. Many walkers, cyclists, hikers and families with children appreciate this place, regardless of whether the landlord is in a good mood, as is almost always the case, or, for once, not. And you should also be able to tolerate an honest answer to a stupid question. Franconia are just like that...

A beautiful, well-kept place to stop on the old canal with parking and a popular meeting point for cyclists/hikers. There are drinks and snacks. Focus on drinks. There is also a vending machine with drinks and snacks for outside opening hours. Great for “on the go”, gladly again.

Perfect as a stopover by bike or when hiking along the canal

Simply cult. A regular stop on our bike tours for many, many years. The old canal and a beer or a soda. Or just currywurst or what I know. A snack with character!

Bockwurst with fatty patties, rolls old and dry. Shish kebab: the meat was charred on the outside, the onions were completely overcooked and the sauce consisted almost entirely of fat. Complaint didn't bother owner.

It's just nice to sit in the green in the sunshine.

The white Häusla is located on the "old canal" between Nuremberg and Karzwang, very easy to reach by bike! There are drinks and food here... very popular crowd here

Portion of fries not possible. They belong to the currywurst and they have been counted. Ok then a bockwurst with fries instead of a roll? ...no do not go. It would have been for our daughter. Well...it was my first time and my last time there.

Great snack bar on the Old Canal with seating. Delicious snacks and warm and warm drinks. Sometimes a little unfriendly.

The landlady is very bossy and not exactly nice

I've only had drinks here so far. You pick these up at an output window. You can sit on beer benches at tables next to the old canal. Price is good. Great for a break.

Always worth a stop for a drink... I haven't tried the food yet, but that's coming.

The Weiße Häusla offers a charming atmosphere and traditional German cuisine. The dishes are deliciously prepared and the portions are generous. The staff is friendly and the service is prompt. A cozy place for a delicious little meal after a bike ride or walk.

Very unfriendly host. Only accepts cash payments but will complain if you don't have it right. The Bockwurst with roll was an overcooked Wienerle with a 4-day-old roll. So exactly what I wanted🤮 If there wasn't a canal and beer here, the gentleman would have been broke long ago. Next time I'll stay hungry or drive to the nearest gas station. Prices are the same but there really is a bockwurst and you can pay whatever you want...

Quite okay for a short break after a long walk or hike. Simple location, there are various hot drinks even with alcohol, small snacks. But the most beautiful thing is that it is right on the old canal.

Beautiful, small cult beer garden with some seating for hikers and cyclists on the Old Canal! There are drinks and something to eat and at a fair price! The menu is not large and the landlord is typically a bit grumpy in typical Franconian style.

Nice, small kiosk with some seating on the "old" Main - Danube Canal. Ideal for walkers and_or cyclists. Small selection of food - not tried. Well sorted drink selection.

I have never been approached or treated so stupidly by a host/waiter as here

On the bike tour along the old canal, I wanted to have a coffee and cocoa with my wife here. The taciturn waitress, who was playing on her cell phone, soon handed us an instant coffee and cocoa at the window with hot water poured over it. Garnished with a dollop of spray cream. Beer from the bottle There's nothing wrong with ordering. Coffee should be enjoyed at home or somewhere else.

Schöner Rastplatz für Wanderer und Radler am Alten Kanal! Es gibt Getränke und auch was zum Essen und das zu einem fairen Preis! Die Speisekarte ist nicht groß und man muss Sie auf den Angebotstafeln am Kiosk lesen! An Son. und Feiertagen gibt's oft Fränkische Gerichte aber die müssen vorab Bestellt werden! Also Hausmannskost ist dort Geboten und das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist Geboten! Für mich immer ein Halt wert wenn ich dort unterwegs bin!

Gestern Montag 25/09/23 auf meinem passier Gang nette Gespräche geführt,ab wol geschlossen (monta,Dienstag,haben sich Leute eine kleine Pause eingelegt und sich untereinander unterhalten.Das gibts ins Weiße Hausla 👍👏👍

Gestern gab's Spanferkel. Einfach lecker.

Die Freundlichkeit an der Ausgabe lässt zu wünschen übrig, wenigstens stimmt die Auswal der Biere und die Preise sind gut.

Waren an einem Sonntag hier. Speisenangebot war sehr eingeschränkt, so dass wir weitergezogen sind. Im Sommer allerdings eine schöne gemütliche Location am alten Kanal.

Haben verschiedene Gerichte zur Auswahl. Die Preise sind absolut ok. Liegt toll neben den Kanal mit kleinen Biergarten. Für Radfahrer ideal. Die Wirtsleute nun, da sollte man sich schon auf einen krassen Spruch einstellen....in den Rezzisionen hier steht ja schon einiges. .

Revitalisiertes Kioskhäusla. Im Biergarten Bermuda Dreieck von Nürnberg (Königshof, Bayernlinie noch dazu, dann sind es sogar 4). Soll mal einen Aushang machen, wann er Spanferkel macht. 2,50 (2023) für die Hofmann Halbe sind unschlagbar!!!

Wir waren zufrieden, als Pausen Stop zu empfehlen.

Schön zu sitzen aber unfreundliches Personal. Will man mit Münzen zahlen wird einem gleich in einem Ton entgegnet. „Kupfer nehmen wir nicht“ (bei 2 5 Cent Münzen)

War am Vatertag da, gab Live-Musik. Gute Preise, entspanntes Ambiente am alten Kanal.
