Great service, Gordana was great, the food was absolutely delicious, kibbelinge❤️. The volume was moderately loud, except for the music. It's on the party mile. 🔈🎶🎸

Some of the crew were there. The bill was incorrect and the prices were outrageous (€14 for an Aperol). When we really wanted to pay "only" €14, the waiter started yelling at us as loudly as possible. He had children to feed, and he HAD to add a €3-4 tip. Absolutely not recommended.

The atmosphere is great, but you pay a fair price for it. Otherwise, it's quite loud and the seats are sometimes very cramped.

We were there on Saturday. There were four of us. At first, we were told that the benches at the small table were for five or more people. When we asked why several benches were occupied by a maximum of three people, we received no answer. My husband ordered a coffee. Shortly after, an employee came and told him that they were no longer serving hot drinks. This wasn't the case; we noticed that hot drinks were constantly being sold out. It makes you feel a bit like you've been made a fool of. Apparently, the beer he ordered cost more. They forgot the cake for our daughter, and it only arrived later when we asked for it. When we paid, the change was simply pocketed as a matter of course. Since it was only 70 cents, we didn't say anything, but it still shouldn't happen and we should take it for granted.

Left on time, delicious drinks and great staff.

Our visit to the Weiße Flotte was unfortunately disappointing. The waitresses were unfriendly and the service overall inattentive. We found the bill handling particularly problematic: Firstly, the prices didn't match the menu – an Altbier, which was supposed to cost €6.20 according to the menu, was charged at €6.80. When we asked about this, no comprehensible explanation was given. Secondly, a higher amount was charged upon payment without further ado – apparently in the form of an uncoordinated "tip." We consider this borderline and not customer-friendly. The bill was generously rounded up. Card payments weren't possible either, although this was obvious. Transparency and polite handling are the bare minimum one should expect. Therefore, we unfortunately cannot recommend the Weiße Flotte.

This was the only place along the Rhine with free seating. But given the wait times, that's no surprise... Wait to order: 30 minutes. Wait to receive the (completely overpriced) drinks and fries: 45 minutes. The staff is hopelessly overwhelmed and understaffed.

There were four of us in the restaurant for a few drinks. The waiter was already quite tipsy and persistently demanded a tip. I'm happy to give a tip, but unfortunately it wasn't suitable. The first round went quickly, but then we had to wait 35 minutes for another round. This time we ordered from a different waiter. It would have been better for him to stay home, as he seems to have lost interest in working. P.S. We're still waiting for the fries we ordered... best wishes ✌️

Nice view, but that was it. I ordered the Wiener schnitzel with fries and salad, along with a Coke. It was a very warm day, so waiting 15 minutes for a drink wasn't so nice. After 45 minutes, the food finally arrived. Ready-made schnitzel (breading stuck to the meat, not fluffy like it should be). The fries were simply placed on the plate and the seasoning poured over them, making the schnitzel completely oversalted. And the lovely salad was just chopped vegetables with oil poured over it. No seasoning. I paid almost €30 for that. I would have preferred to go somewhere else. Absolutely not recommended!

The view is nice, but the waiters are so unfriendly that the view doesn't save you. No hello, no goodbye, you just get unfriendly looks. Received the wrong drink when we brought it up, people rolled their eyes. Please? No recommendation!!

Unfortunately you have to give one star. Very bad (tourist) rip-off. Good thing we're not tourists. Four of us were there on Saturday afternoon. The service was quite unmotivated and inattentive the whole time. When paying, we were abruptly informed that the bill amount of almost 78 euros "doesn't include the tip. I need 2% for the bar". I'm sorry, what??? We then asked the manager, her reaction was "I'm telling the truth." When we asked her to show us where this “fee” was mentioned on the menu/drinks menu or elsewhere in the location, she quickly scratched the chart. This borders on fraud. Caution. And always check the bill carefully if someone gets lost there. Unfortunately, the casemates are now a “no go area”.

The ambience is quite nice, but when I paid for two Aperol Spritz and a fries for a total of €30, I was rudely asked to give a service tip. Nothing like that ever happened to me.

Food and drink were great. At the end the waitress complained that there wasn't enough and that she should give more because she wouldn't otherwise earn enough, very rude.

Absolutely rude waiter who didn't serve us for over an hour because we asked if we could order after 30 minutes of waiting (without drinks). After an hour without drinks we were told we could go somewhere else if we didn't like it. Never experienced anything like that in my life. Service is terrible. If the operators have enough decency to do something about it: The waiter was an old gentleman with a cap, glasses and a bulbous nose

Annoyed and overwhelmed waiters. You are simply ignored as a table if you dare to ask after 30 minutes whether you can order. Superfluous if you expect more than just a seat

We felt ripped off. Ordered drinks, to have with lunch; before we saw they don't take card payments. Tried to cancel as we do not carry cash on trips, but they wouldn't. Ended up having to use their "convenient" cash machine that charges 25% currency conversion plus a big cash withdrawal fee. Luckily it was only 3 beers... it ended up costing 33 Euros. Absolutely criminal, I'm surprised they are still open for business as they probably use cash only to avoid paying tax

The White Fleet Restaurant is something different, you sit on a ship on the water. We got drinks, so I can't say anything about the food. The drinks were good. The toilets are clean. There is also a logge down by the toilet.

The ambience is quite nice to sit in. We wanted to pay, were looked at, people actively looked away, so the service leaves a lot to be desired. The drinks take a very long time, slow service. Cash only? If you don't have cash, there is an ATM to withdraw money, with a €7 fee :)

An interesting concept to save taxes with poor service. If you have a lot of time and don't feel like being served, this is the place for you

Do not go here. As mentioned by other reviewers, they will rip you off. We ordered a couple of drinks, they don't present a receipt and over charge you. When we confronted them about it, they used a phone calculator to calculate it again very vaguely, going from 60.30 to 52. Later on we realized this was still about 8 euros too high. Ripping off people is bad enough, but it takes a genuinely bad person to keep ripping you off as they are caught. From the other reviews here and on other websites, this is apparently how they do business.

If your first comment to guests is that Dutch people don't tip, the tone is immediately set. Immediately charged too much at checkout, with the same comment again, it is a good reason for me to leave this tent on the left or right depending on which side we come from.

The beer was fine. Unfortunately the waiter tried to rip us off by overcharging us. So pay close attention.

Weisse Flotte is on the Rhine, with outdoor seating under cover. There are heaters for colder weather. They have an extensive menu, that I included in the pictures. I had the steak with baked potato and salad. The meal was so massive that I took it back with me to the hotel for dinner. One thing to plan for in advance… they are Cash Only. The sign is very small, so you might not notice it. Luckily, I always carry at least 50 EUR, so I was prepared. The service can be slow, but waiting for the meal was well worth it. Everything was perfectly prepared. The waiter spoke enough English to help me with my order. I really need to spend more time with Babbel.

Nice location but that's about it. Salad was ok. Pretzel rock hard, white sausages were partly already dissolving. Only ate 1 1/2 sausages in total, only one bite of pretzel. Drink half made of ice. The man in service didn't even ask how the food was. And when the food was complained about, he said it had been communicated too late. There was nothing he could do about it anymore. Super unfriendly and rude and absolutely not insightful. Would avoid the place

It would have been nice if we had been served. Sitting at the table for two cigarette lengths, more than one waiter looked directly at us and moved on. Apparently there is no need to serve guests there. We can actually only rate the beautiful ambience on the Rhine, we weren't treated to the rest. Yes, the weather was nice, yes, it wasn't empty, but there were enough waiters and there were still enough tables available. It's a shame when you don't need the money from guests! We moved one house further and had really great service, great ambience and really delicious drinks! Don't always sit right where everyone wants to sit!!!

I have never seen such a disinterested staff. We waited for service for almost 20 minutes. There is a sit where you find system. The chaos in the place starts from there. You get deceived by the crowd and get angry inside. There is no staff working

Caution! Unfair billing and hidden fees We visited this restaurant as a group and unfortunately discovered that questionable methods were used here. Additional drinks that we had not ordered were added to our bill. We were also charged a service fee. I strongly recommend checking your receipt carefully to avoid such surprises. Better yet, avoid this store and find a place that treats its guests fairly.

Beware, rip-off! The waiters often charge for drinks that you didn't even consume!!! Happened to us twice. The first time you think it's a coincidence, but unfortunately that's the system here. At least we'll never go there again!

Avoid this place! Took 20 minutes just for staff member to take our drinks order. It wasn't even busy. Then took another 20 minutes to bring the drinks out. However, spent over 15 minutes talking to another staff member. When we asked for the bill. No card payment accepted. Just about had enough cash to pay. The staff member then asks for more money for himself as a tip. Disgusting behaviour! Not even homeless people beg this much. Hope this place is paying taxes. Cash only! Hmmmm, very suspect. My tip, is to be quicker next time, stop wasting time chatting and don't be rude.

Unfortunately the trip was far too short.

NEVER AGAIN! We were there to eat, and it took forever to even get served, even though it wasn't very full. After we ordered, it took over an hour for our food to arrive. (After asking again where the food is) Then we were brought completely wrong dishes that we hadn't even ordered, so we let the food go back and waited another 45 minutes until the correct dishes were brought. The waiter didn't get anything baked and didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. In terms of taste and quality it wasn't great either, but the prices were completely exorbitant. The food wasn't worth the money! After we had eaten we wanted to pay, but there was no staff in sight! So we had to get someone from the kitchen to pay. The waiter who served us before didn't know what we had ordered, nor did we receive an apology for this poor or no service. The service is better in every McDonald's... Overall very unfriendly and completely unprofessional! The young man seemed completely unsuitable for the job as a waiter there. The only “nice” thing was the ambience and the location of the restaurant right on the banks of the Rhine. We will never go there again! Very disappointing.

Currywurst and sauce taste like they have been warmed up and for just under €16.. No card payment is offered either.

We were looking for a place to have a drink and something to eat during our city visit. It was 30 degrees so we could use some refreshment. We sat on the terrace against the quay, under a canopy. It was too hot there. But we had ordered drinks so we stayed seated. When we urged to leave and asked the waiter for the bill, he brushed us off. We kept waiting, and waiting.... Many people arrived but were not helped in time so they left again. In the end, the man calculated in his head how much we had to pay, without a receipt.... out of date.

Last Saturday we stopped by this restaurant to treat ourselves to a little cooling down, but then the waiter came and told us that there had been a cash register malfunction and that we would like to find something else to do. So far so good, anything can happen, but when getting up my husband tripped and fell on the wooden anchor. He sustained a laceration to his head and bruises. The wound was bleeding profusely but the staff did not feel responsible for any activity, such as providing sterile compresses, a calf pack or even a glass of water. No, we helped ourselves with tissues, called an RTW and organized a glass of water ourselves. My sister-in-law was even ignored by the boss. Incomprehensible! I would like to expressly point out that none of us have consumed alcohol before. We just wanted to show our visitors Düsseldorf. Great impression of hospitality

STAY AWAY FROM HERE. They tried to rip us off on the bill, changing the prices of the cocktails, adding things we had never ordered and doubling the number of beers drunk. As you can see from other comments, we're not the first to have this issue !

Overcharging - twice more than it should have been

It's a tourist scam, we were charged twice more than what we actually ordered, with drinks and food that we never ordered

We have been charged with things that we haven't ordered!! And prices on the bill were much higher than on the menu!! That is a theft!!

They tried to cheat us! The invoices are issued incorrectly, especially for groups, and attempts are made to enforce incorrect prices and numbers of food/drinks. Only cash payment possible so that you don't have to pay taxes. AVOID!!!

Count every item you order carefully because the bill will be at least twice as much as what you ordered. Don't let them intimidate you. We were 19 people and I had to ask everyone what they consumed and wrote it down on a napkin. The bill went from 1300 eur to 600 eur

I would like to leave a truthful review of this establishment. The waiters deceive the customers. We asked for a bill which did not include drinks and would change some items. The waiter then hand-wrote us a bill that stated significantly higher prices. He then explained that it would be more convenient for him to count. This meant we paid €15 more. Instead of €60 we paid almost €75. However, the waiter explained to us that this was normal and he increased the price because he put more food in the portion, even though we didn't ask him to. I would ask the owner to pay attention to this situation and ask the employee to enter all items into the invoice and not add the double price by hand.

We have also been charged for more drinks than we had!!! I thought we were the only case but now I see there are some more!! Unbelievable!! We argued with the waiter but in the end we just wanted to leave this place and we are definitely not going there again!

We didn't have 16 beers but they were charging us with 16 instead of 11! This is how they ate getting their tips!

Bad service, we have ordered heiße Schokolade without Sahne, but waiter brought with cream, We have complained and he mixed it just and brought it back. Absolutely not recommended

I visited Weiße Flotte Düsseldorf for the first time whilst looking for a nice cozy place to enjoy a beer and it was amazing lots of people were also there enjoying a nice cold beer on the side of the river. Service was great very friendly severs with great smiles and jokes they made it fun as I was visiting alone. I highly recommend this place while your next time in Düsseldorf. Prost!

Prices increased since our last time here in 2019. But still quite good.

Die Schiffe könnten mal nen frischen Anstrich gebrauchen. Am Sonntag (24.09.23) ging die Fahrt erst mit locker 20 Min Verspätung los (war wohl ein Rimer umgekippt und man musste erst mal putzen!?). Was dir Ambiente aber so richtig runtergerockt hat war die billige Ballerman-Mucke aus veralteten und ungeeigneten Lautsprechern. Die Musik ging - vor allem Sonntags morgens um 11 ganz und gar nicht. Schade. Hatten unten Striche einen tollen Tag - aber die Weiße Flotte hat dazu nicht beigetragen.

This is a very nice location to enjoy a drink or meal along the riverfront next tot he promenade. You can have a nice meal, enjoy the view and watch people as they walk by. The service is great and they are very friendly and helpful. It is important to know that this is a cash only business. It does say it on the menu but in the bottom. This doesn’t take away from the restaurant at all, just be prepared with cash when you stop in

Sehr entspannte Schifffahrt von Kaiserswerth in die Altstadt. Muss mal mal gemacht haben, vom Wasser her eine ganz andere Perspektive!

Scam: 1 Little bag of sauce = 1€, not mentioned on menu!

They don't accept credit card, atm machine in the place has an awful fee and conversion rate. The atmosphere and vibe compared to the places around is not worth it.

Wij hebben hier alleen wat gedronken. Op zaterdag schenken ze alleen halve liters. Zeggen ze. Terwijl andere mensen wel gewoon een 0,3 liter drankje konden bestellen. Bijzonder. Niet erg sfeervol. Wel prachtige locatie. En let op: je kunt hier alleen cash betalen.

Die Panorama-Fahrt ist eigentlich ganz schön, aber wenn Kapitän "DJ" fährt, dann ist der Name Programm. Auf dem Oberdeck ist es quasi nicht auszuhalten. Viel zu laute Musik, die auch noch dauernd hin- und hergeschaltet wird. Statt das Panorama zu genießen sind alle auf die unteren Decks geflüchtet um der Zwangsbechallung zu entgehen.

Naja was soll man zu solchen Lokalen schreiben. Touristenabzocke? Für ne Fanta 0,3 4,80€ und 0,5 Fanta 6,80€. Ja es liegt am Ufer aber die Aussicht ist nun auch nicht spektakulär. Kölsch wird garnicht angeboten. Service war mittelmäßig. Bezahlung nur Bar/Cash. Karte wird nicht akzeptiert.

Passt auf die Rechnung auf. Waren 10 Leute und es wurden 100 Euro zu viel angerechnet!

Das Essen war gut, die Bedienung verhielt sich als hätte sie neu angefangen, Rückgeld wurde erst nach Aufforderung bezahlt und einfach als Trinkgeld einbehalten. Wenn es gehen würde, würde ich die Sterne für die Besienung ins Minus vergeben.

Hab zwar für einen umgekippten Cocktail Ersatz bekommen. Wenn mein eigentlicher Cocktail genau so war war er das Geld nicht wert kaum Alkohol.

Direkt am Rhein. Gut für größere Gruppen geeignet. Preise sehr teuer. Ein Glas Wasser (0.5l) kostet 6.80. Weinglas war leider mit Lippenstifträndern verschmutzt.

Lebt eigentlich nur von der Lage! Service ist unaufmerksam, Cocktails garantiert aus der Dose und essen völlig überteuert!

The magic of Dusseldorf is felt here. A real treat is the view of the sunset, the view of the ships, the beautiful music, the friendly staff, the beer, the cocktails... perfection for all the senses!

I think the name "White Fleet" refers to the products the staff consumes. Atmosphere is great but staff is just unfriendly

Freue mich immer über ein Sonnenplätzchen im vorderen Bereich. Zum Essen kann ich nichts sagen,aber ich persönlich finde die Kellner immer sehr freundlich sie sind fix am Tisch, wenn man bestellen möchte. Die Toiletten könnten etwas gepflegter sein,und die Dame etwas netter.

Eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung. Wir wollten nur ein leckeres Glas Wein nach der Shopping Tour trinken. Der Kellner hat uns einen anderen Wein gegeben, als wir bestellt haben, und die böse Überraschung kam dann bei der Bezahlung - der war natürlich teurer. Da halfen auch die schlecht polierten und mit Lippenstift versehenen Weingläser nicht. Schade!

Nice spot for some coffee or drinks. Located on an old vessel. Service a little slow but friendly. Prices appear a bit steep but a similar to other venues in the area.
