The best Turkish restaurant in Mannheim! From the first second you notice that the highest value is placed on quality and hospitality. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening. The menu offers an excellent selection of authentic Turkish dishes that are simply unbeatable in terms of taste. The perfectly prepared meat dishes are a real highlight. The service is also top – friendly, attentive and always making sure that you feel completely comfortable. For me, this restaurant is clearly one of the best in Mannheim. Absolutely recommended!

Excessive prices. There were six of us, an Ayran 0.2 l €3.50 rice, inedible atmosphere, dark lunchtime, you couldn't even read the menu. Map confusing without pictures. Service was okay. Wouldn't recommend anyone to have the experience.

The kebab shop offers an excellent dining experience. The meat was juicy and flavorful while the vegetables were fresh and crunchy. The portions are generous and filling. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. The shop was clean and cozy, which made the atmosphere very pleasant. Although the prices are slightly higher, the quality of the food completely justifies it. Definitely a place I would visit again

Extremely expensive, they now charge 40 euros for a 20 euro grill plate. I ate Beyti and it didn't taste good at all. Am disappointed!

The prices have increased significantly, the portions have become smaller and the quality of the food has unfortunately become worse. Service unmotivated, not attentive and could have been a bit friendlier. The tables are so close to each other, everything was just so tight, even though we are physically fit, we had problems sitting/standing up.

Food is a 10/10! Very tasty, meat is of good quality and very tender, portions are large enough and the prices are right. However, the waitresses speak almost exclusively Turkish.

Very large selection of Turkish dishes! Excellent lamb skewer! Everyone has to decide for themselves whether they really want the side salad. We found it a bit inappropriate. Service very friendly and attentive! We will be back! 👍🏻

Very unfriendly staff, no emphasis is placed on distance rules. Strangers have never been seated next to us in a restaurant. The meat was very good, but these were by far the worst fries I've had. No mayo/ketchup, not even seasoned with salt or anything and were very limp. Even McDonald's fries are better if you leave them for an extra long time.

Just look at the pictures of the food. We were there at lunchtime with 12 people without a reservation. Phenomenal. TIP: Even if the bread is great, don't eat too much of it. Otherwise it will be a fight later. The portions are not small. You don't have to fill yourself up with bread.

The food was great and the portions were more than enough. It also came to the table quickly and we were asked about any allergies. However, the menus took a long time, not because the waitress didn't come, but because he talked to us for what felt like 10 minutes before giving them to us. Wir mussten draußen sehr lange auf ein Tisch warten. Danach mussten wir warten bis wir überhaupt bedient wurden. Die Tische waren unsauber und wurden nur schnell und grob mit einem Lappen "sauber" gewischt. Preis: Für den hohen Preis kann man die schlechte Qualität und Service nicht rechtfertigen. Das Essen (Iskender, Hähnchenspieß & Adana Kebab) war alles andere außer lecker. Es wird keine Kartenzahlung akzeptiert. Nachdem wir bezahlt haben, wurden wir vom Kellner aufgefordert schnell und zügig den Tisch zu verlassen und wir sind mit einem 3 Monate altes Baby angereist.

Top food, top service, friendly staff who will fulfill your every wish. I've been visiting this shop for years and it maintains its standard. If you are looking for Turkish cuisine or want to try something for the first time, you have come to the right place. Delicious food, large portions at fair prices. However, you get the need for a vacation during or at the latest after your visit there 🤣 All in all, we can only recommend the store.

The three of us ate at Ocakbasi today. We were warmly greeted at the entrance and escorted to the table. The waiter who served us was a bit high-spirited, but took our orders quickly. The drinks service was good, salads with a bread basket were given beforehand and then the main course. The meat was warm, but the tomato sauce was very cold and very hot in places. That was a strange combination. It tasted good, especially the lamb. Doner meat was OK, but not exceptionally good. One point that irritates me and that I don't like as a customer is that the telephone number provided unfortunately does not "exist" on Google and on the homepage. Tried to call several times, but unfortunately no response.

Food was very good and attentive service. Had a pide and there was fresh bread with dip and a salad beforehand. When I'm back in Mannheim in June, I'll be happy to come back.

Unfortunately, the food didn't taste good and I noticed that the quality has definitely declined compared to my previous visits. What was particularly disappointing was that after eating we were immediately asked to pay, which made us feel like we couldn't enjoy the meal in peace. It seemed like the main goal was to clear the table as quickly as possible rather than providing guests with a pleasant experience. This feeling of having to hurry really affected the atmosphere and made me sad. Because of this experience, I have decided not to visit your restaurant anymore. The food was great. The service was ok. It was Saturday night and very crowded. We waited for our food for 45 minutes but it was hot and delicious. Unfortunately no pics cause we waited too long and we were really hungry.

IT WAS VERY LOUD, THE OPERATIONS WERE EVERYTHING STRESSED AND THEY TRANSMITTED THAT TO THE CUSTOMER. A man from the staff kept shouting loudly. And the prices have increased dramatically.

We went to the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon. Even though it was relatively full, we got a table straight away and were served. We got a starter salad and bread, but we had to wait a little longer for our main courses. Unfortunately the food was nothing special and not worth the price.

The food tastes really good and I personally found the service very good too. The prices are a little higher than other kebab houses. I don't think the interior is that nice. Could do with some modern decorating. What I was surprised about is that you can only pay in cash there. No EC payment possible and that's actually not possible these days.

The employees are extremely disrespectful and rude. 😤 The waiters only speak Turkish to the guests, as if you only have to speak or understand Turkish. They don't understand English either, how am I supposed to communicate with them? 😅 They just throw the plates on the table - none of them seem motivated to work. For 17€ the food is also too small! None of us were fed.

There were 6 of us there on Good Friday, the service served us courteously and quickly found us a seat. The employees in the kitchen almost hit each other's heads and got loud very quickly. Iskender war aus Hackfleisch, trocken und zu bissfest. Nr.30 auf der Speisekarte überteuert und schmeckt garnicht. Lediglich Nr.84 war einigermaßen. Schade um die schöne traditionelle türkische Küche die hier nicht gewürdigt wird. Tische schmutzig, Boden versüft aber trotzdem schön überteuerte Preise. Für Geschmack und Service würden wir ja das eine oder andere nicht erwähnen. Aber teuer Preise , halbherzige Freundlichkeit und fehlende Hygiene laufen nicht Hand in Hand, Sorry” Sind extra aus Frankfurt angereist und ich bleibe in Zukunft lieber in Frankfurt.

The restaurant is decorated relatively authentically and you are greeted with a smile. We ordered Adana Kebap and Iskender. Both dishes disappointed us. The meat was reminiscent of a mediocre kebab shop. The salad and bread were OK, but really nothing special. You can only pay in cash, which isn't really up to date. We also hardly ate anything; Our plates were still full when we paid - the waiter didn't care.

We wanted to change the salad next to the food we ordered at the restaurant we loved going to. Unfortunately, the waiter, who thought the world revolved around himself, did not change a salad that did not differ even by 0.50 cents, which both upset us and caused us to leave the place by losing our appetite. This is customer satisfaction. Other venues bring such garnishes as treats. The more customers you have, the more you reduce the quality of service. It is very sad that such a place loses customers by focusing on small things. I hope the venue operators will give up such sales policies as soon as possible and focus their service staff on customer satisfaction. They provide assistance..

Unfortunately we didn't like it at all and our expectations weren't met. We had an iskender and a kebab plate. The Iskender meat was completely covered in oil. The bread was full of tomato sauce that was al dente. The only thing that was good was the kebab plate with plenty of meat and a side dish. In every restaurant you get some kind of mezze, here there was only salad. In addition, the waiters constantly admired why you, as a woman, ate the entire plate. Incomprehensible and extremely disturbing. The prices are very overpriced compared to other restaurants. All in all, unfortunately not recommended
