Great service with delicious food Perfect for breakfast and brunch

It was truly a disappointment. We were served a breakfast called the Aegean breakfast. It was supposed to be green, but there was nothing there except iceberg lettuce and red capsicum. It was a joke. We paid 36€ for two people. We were heartbroken. No wonder it was empty. I will never go there again. It's a pity for that beautiful atmosphere.

There are numerous parking options near the center of Mannheim. Simit was good, Menemen was made with ready-made tomato sauce, it tasted very bad, Su Börek was very dry and had no resemblance to Su Börek at all. If you buy from the regular menu you pay for the second tea. If someone comes for breakfast you pay for extra tea!!! This is ridiculous. At least 2 teas should be free. The interior is quite spacious. The prices are a bit unnecessarily expensive compared to the tea on offer.

We got the same amount of food for 5 people as every other table in the restaurant with 2-3 people. Paid over €90! Service was disgraceful and not at all willing to satisfy us in any way. We were here for the first and last time!!

My friends and I wanted to have a nice morning and have breakfast together. Unfortunately, we really got a slap in the face when we visited this restaurant. Bad hospitality Breakfast was extremely little, I didn't dare eat anything so that there would be enough for the others. I pointed out that the price/performance ratio wasn't right here and when I asked for more, I was informed that it would then cost more CONCLUSION: First and last visit. Extremely overpriced.!!!!!!!!

We ordered for five people and received really disappointing food for 95 euros. Each person only received one slice of cucumber and one slice of tomato. The breakfast was only enough for two to three people. What was particularly irritating was that a couple at the next table had the same amount of food. What's the point here? The portions just weren't adequate. In addition, the service was unfriendly. When I pointed out that the situation was an outrage and a rip-off, I received no response whatsoever. In any other Turkish restaurant I get a lot more for less money. That was my first and last visit. Thanks for nothing!

The store looks nice and cozy, but unfortunately we still didn't like it that much. The food was okay, but we felt it was excessive value for money. 4 slices of plain bread for just under €5 is not okay. If I order breakfast for two and we don't have enough bread, it should actually be refilled without saying a word. This is what constitutes good service and hospitality and is actually a strength of Turkish hosts. You also have to refill the tea yourself, so it's not really a real service. For breakfast: the menemen was too watery, like strained tomato with a dollop of egg, so I'd rather order scrambled eggs; the spicy dip is extremely spicy; the rest was okay, but nothing special. Then in the future it would be better to have a buffet somewhere, which is sometimes even cheaper.

I honestly can't understand the good reviews. Maybe I'm spoiled as a Berliner, maybe it's because we were there shortly after they opened and they weren't really ready yet. The menemen is still super watery, as if you had put scrambled eggs in pureed tomatoes and you were done. The fried sucuk could have been served longer. The orange slices looked like they were from the day before. To top it all off, it cost even more than stated on the menu. Unfortunately, the bottom line is quite a disappointment. But you have to say, there were also delicious things and the Simit weren't bad.

Had breakfast here for two. The food was delicious and we were more than full. The employees were also super friendly. We'll come again ☺️

A beautiful piece of Istanbul in Mannheim. Nice selection and a very pleasant atmosphere with a pleasant audience, no comparison to Mannheim city center! Very tasty and very friendly!

We relied on the reviews but unfortunately we were massively disappointed. You pay €16 per person for a measly a la “Turkish” breakfast. Unfortunately it wasn't anything special... Unfortunately, the atmosphere was very depressing because the employees were unfriendly and unfriendly. They watched us eat and listened and talked. It was very unpleasant -.-

Ambiete Okay, food no thanks! I had breakfast with friends on site, the ambience was quite okay (just as you would expect from new restaurants in Mannheim). The girls were very nice and tried hard, but the boss was just arrogant. Price performance is definitely poor and just overpriced. Instead, go 10 minutes further into the indoor stand and treat yourself to an all-you-can-eat buffet at Lale, Paşam and much more for the price of an omelet. 1 star for the ambience. Definitely not more than that.

My brother had breakfast after the registry office in the Simitçi Café with the whole family. The planning was excellent and the food was simply brilliant. The owner was extremely accommodating, well organized and made sure everything went smoothly. The atmosphere in the café was very welcoming and cozy, which made the occasion even more special. I would also particularly like to emphasize the variety and freshness of the food, which impressed each of us. The service was excellent, always friendly and attentive. The Breakfast / Brunch is great. A lot of traditional, authentic options among the meze. I was positively surprised in a few cases. Some strange ones as well, but I guess that's what some of the clientele appreciate. Talking about Gouda, Nutella etc. Simit is very good and does satisfy the craving.

This has to be the best place for a Sunday brunch in Lindenhof. Breakfast for 2 is absolutely wonderful and something I would recommend. The ambience is great and the staff is also very polite and attentive.

My insider tip when it comes to Turkish cuisine, fresh Cay (unlimited) and breakfast. Very nice operators and it really couldn't be fresher. I prefer to eat the classic menemen. I can only recommend it to everyone.

Even though the waiter kept saying "I'm coming, sir", he couldn't come and was always taking care of someone else! The breakfast and the atmosphere were really good. Went to Simitçi for the first time today on Good Friday. Super nice shop, very large and spacious. Nice staff, pleasant oriental background music. Free WiFi. Top location to Mannheim main station! Lovely again!

Be careful here, you can pay quite a bit extra if you don't order exactly what it says on the menu. Food itself is very tasty, prices are rather high. The big problem, however, is the service. Had to wait a very long time (about 25 minutes) just for the drinks. Another 20 minutes later the food came, while people who came 15-20 minutes after us had already had their food. So we had an expensive and not exactly nice experience

Air is catastrophic, you almost suffocate. When you asked to open the door you were looked at strangely. The air in the cafe is humid and stuffy. We ordered the country breakfast and the Aegean breakfast. Overall, everything tasted very good and the simit were also very good. The service was not opened for us. We asked for a plate and they gave us a tin plate. It is difficult to find a place without a reservation on the weekend and seems impossible for large groups. We paid over 70 Euros for a mixed breakfast for 4 people (very expensive) The servers were not friendly at all.

Very tasty breakfast at an absolutely fair price. Every component tasted great and the service was very warm and courteous. Clear recommendation! Reservations recommended, it was very full on Saturday morning and therefore a bit noisy, which is absolutely understandable.

An ordinary breakfast dish prepared without using quality ingredients. Mixed breakfast doesn't have to be like this. In other words, a better breakfast can be prepared by using less variety but quality ingredients. Their pastries are either too oily or too dry.

The food is delicious and the employees are nice. But: pay attention to how you order your food, even if you get the same food, you may not pay the same for it. And even after being told at the checkout that this didn't make any sense, there was an apology, but people basically didn't understand what the problem was. If you order Sucuk Menemen it costs 10.90 euros, if you want it as a menu it costs 4.90 euros extra, i.e. 15.80 euros. However, it is different if you order a Menemen menu, which costs 13.90 and have Sucuk extra with you, this costs 4.50 euros extra, so a total of 18.40 euros for exactly the same dish/menu. Apparently the more expensive option is charged at the checkout. I ordered the “Sucuk Menemen Menu”. In other stores, the cheaper combination is automatically chosen for the customer as this is part of the service. Unfortunately not here, what a shame.

For 2 people €31.90 is an exorbitant price. They say unlimited tea with the breakfast offer we had (but you always have to get up and pour yourself tea😂) at that price and self service for tea. The menemen wasn't woaaaw but you could eat it. The products that are served are 95% canned and put on the plate. 4 such small pide pieces and 2 simits for 2 people is definitely not enough. If you would like additional bread/simit it costs. I read the reviews on Google I had and was looking forward to a great breakfast but unfortunately I said goodbye to Mannheim with disappointment.

Beklediğim gibi değildi maalesef. Peynir çeşidi yok denecek kadar azdı ve porsiyonlar çok küçüktü. Sıcak olarakta haşlanmış kızartılmış yumurta vardı 37€ iki kişi için. Çay ve boyoz bayattı. Türkiye’de ki kahvaltıların yanından geçemez maalesef.

Das Frühstück war lecker, allerdings haben wir uns aufgrund des Personals nicht wohl gefühlt. Beim Frühstück darf man Schwarztee nachfüllen gehen, jedoch haben 2 aus unserer Gruppe normal Tee bestellt (nicht im Rahmen der Frühstücksrunde) und diesen natürlich NICHT nachgefüllt. Sobald wir aber aufgestanden sind, um nachzufüllen wurden wir auf Schritt und Tritt „kontrolliert“. Das hat unser Frühstück und unsere Laune sehr beeinträchtigt, weshalb wir nicht mehr kommen werden.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Sehr leckeres Essen. Und das Beste, man kann jederzeit Frühstücken. Es wird alles frisch zubereitet.

Wir waren mit meinem Ehemann jetzt einige Male dort und hat immer sehr geschmeckt. Der Empfang und die Bedienung ist immer sehr herzlich und man fühlt sich immer willkommen. Immer wieder gerne👍

Wir waren das 2. Mal dort Frühstücken, der Frühstück an sich schmeckt ganz gut, im Vergleich zu anderen Läden. Doch ich finde das wichtigste an der ganzen Sache ist die Service, man muss immer aufmerksam sein und sobald ein Kunde am Tisch sitzt sollte man sich um den Kunden kümmern. Wir haben sehr lange Augenkontakt aufgesucht damit wir bestellen können. Aber die Servicekräfte hinter der Theke waren mit Privatgesprächen beschäftigt. Daran solltet ihr bitte dringend arbeiten. Das ist nicht seriös.

Also ich fands sehr gut. Am service muss ein wenig gearbeitet werden. Der wirkte ein wenig unbeholfen. Karte, essen und Preise waren ok.
