Eines der schlechtesten Döner die ich je gegessen habe. Qualität unter aller Sau und auch absolut nicht zu empfehlen von den Zutaten nichts hat überzeugt und dann noch zu teuer!

Four of us were in the restaurant “Bursa Kebap Evi” in Mannheim on June 21st, 2024 between 6 and 7 p.m. We only ordered and drank Turkish tea four times. One of us went to the cashier to pay the bill. The waiter asked if we just drank tea and didn't eat anything. We have confirmed that. He then said that the tea was on the house and we didn't have to pay anything. We still wanted to pay, but the waiter insisted and didn't take the money. We gratefully accepted and walked down the street together. Suddenly another waiter from “Bursa Kebap Evi” shouted after us: “Stop, stop, where are you going without paying!?” We were shocked. We explained to him that his colleague hadn't accepted the bill and that the drinks were on the house. I offered to go back to the restaurant to show him the waiter in question. But he interrupted me and said rudely that we should give him the 8 euros immediately. We paid the 8 euros in the middle of the street and moved on. It's not about the 8 euros, it's about how we were exposed in the middle of the street. That was a bottomless impudence. Such behavior is rude and immoral. Such a “humane” employee should know how to treat customers and should be able to treat people with respect. Such behavior will definitely make you lose a lot of customers.

Food is not as good as in Turkiye , we ordered cheese pide; bursa meshur and bursa iskender Kids did not like the pide despite being very plain in nature (normally they should have loved it), we found the islender and bursa meshur a little better than the mid level. However we liked the atmosphere and its proximity to the marktplatz.

I don't know if it's our fault, but I can't recommend the Bursa Kebab-EVi in Mannheim. It was very busy on the first visit. When we asked for a table, we were treated extremely rudely and almost verbally thrown out with the words: “Don't you see, we don't have space?” I would have liked a polite explanation that the place is unfortunately overcrowded and we'll have to do it again later should try. Instead we were thrown out in a very rough manner. That's not what I understand by service. After a long time we decided to give the store another chance. But again we were disappointed. We walked in and saw two employees arguing in front of us. One snatched a glass ice cream sundae out of the other's hand and threw it on the floor in front of our children. The shards flew all the way to my children, luckily none of them were hurt! You can't imagine how angry I was. I wonder who runs this company in such a way that the employees argue like this in front of the guests. Something like that is intolerable. I know Bursa Kebab from Turkey and such behavior would be unthinkable there. I wonder what the franchisee has to say about customers being treated like this and then disappearing never to be seen again. You can't believe how angry I am. I wanted to enjoy a nice meal with my family on a holiday and instead our day was spoiled. We left the restaurant upset and will never visit again. We came on a Saturday afternoon when it was relatively busy, but we were still served promptly and kindly. The food was absolutely delicious and for us the single serving was plenty filling. I’d especially recommend the lemonade and the pressed grape juice! If I’m in Mannheim again I will definitely come back again!

Unexpectedly bad! The plates were hot but the food was cold (obviously not from the grill but from the microwave) - the meat was poorly prepared and, to be honest, not seasoned at all. We had ordered another portion of fries that were never brought. The same dishes taste different from time to time. Iskender was excellent on our previous visit, but this time it's not worth ordering again.
