Halil super friendly service. Top!!!

Four of us ate there today, October 26, 24, and there was nothing good about it. The skewer wasn't seared properly, and the meat looked like chicken and not veal and didn't taste like veal either. It was more fat than meat. None of the four of us could eat the meat. The smaller problem is that it is completely filthy, from the tables to the messy map. After complaining several times, we were offered to take two of the dishes off the bill and refrain from giving them a bad rating. I can't understand the many good reviews here!

We would absolutely advise against eating at this place. I ordered an imam bayildi, which was inedible and was probably fried with too much oil of poor quality. The taste was disgusting. My husband's Iskender Kebap was similarly poor quality with hard bread and probably chicken even though my husband ordered meat. We both had stomach pains the night after.

All grills are made on charcoal and have a good flavour, and the service is excellent

I had lunch here with my wife on Saturday. It is one of the most famous Turkish restaurants in Mannheim on the market square. We each got an Iskender, a Spezi and a portion of fries. The portion size of the dish is appropriate, and the drink wasn't skimpy either. Unfortunately, the food loses a star because it was lukewarm for my wife and me. The garnish with a slice of tomato and pepper was served cold. The pieces of flatbread underneath the sauce and meat, on the other hand, were well dressed. The kebab meat was high quality and tasty. I have eaten the well-known Iskender in many different restaurants. The meat would have to be warm, freshly cut, the tomato sauce would have to be slightly simmering so that the food is still hot when served. The service, on the other hand, was very good, orders were taken and picked up, as well as drinks and food arrived without a long wait. The ambience in the restaurant itself is very inviting, but in the outdoor area the chairs are unfortunately somewhat uncomfortable in order to have a comfortable eating experience. Partially heated outdoor seating area available.

Was there again today for a long time and I think it is one of the best restaurants in Mannheim. Super friendly boss, courteous service and super tasty. So let’s go👍🏻✌🏻. Cheers to the charcoal grill😉

We are passionate lovers of Turkish cuisine and have dined at numerous restaurants in the Nuremberg metropolitan area, but Meydan took us to a whole new level of enjoyment. This is the second time we have made the 560km journey to eat here – and once again it was completely worth it. With the simple request, “Bring me the best Tavuk Şiş you have,” we were served a true masterpiece. The chicken was incredibly tender and perfectly seasoned, it literally melted in your mouth. The balance of flavors was just right – intense but not overpowering. The fries were fresh and crispy, with an authentic, delicious potato flavor that set them apart from ordinary side dishes. The onions and lettuce were also excellent and complemented the dish wonderfully. Although the portion was generous, I wanted to enjoy every bite. A big compliment to the chef – Eline Sağlık for the impressive quality and noticeable attention to detail. The service was excellent – ​​friendly, attentive and surprisingly fast despite the large number of guests. It was hands down the best tavuk Şiş we have ever eaten and the main reason we made this long journey again. Thank you for this unforgettable culinary experience – we will definitely be back!

The food was ok, the spices were a bit lacking. A meal for the four of us was forgotten and only served 15 minutes later when asked and without an apology.

Was here for the second time and again a big disappointment. The lamb skewer was again dry and tasteless. Chicken skewer went like this. The fries were cold, small and tasteless. The food was cold and we waited 30 minutes for the food. In the end the service was unfriendly because I didn't give a tip. No goodbyes or anything else like in the other restaurants. My stomach hurt at night. No wonder the store has few guests compared to its "neighbors".

I got there after a convention at about half past midnight. I got my food after just 10 minutes and was happy with it. I had an eggplant with minced meat and rice, it was a little too oily for my taste but still good. Oh yes, it's rare that you get a 0.5 cola for €3.90.

This is my fifth time coming here and the quality, friendliness and attention have not diminished at all. The food I have ordered so far is great

Meydan saved our evening.... After a disappointment at Keller's where we were treated horribly, the friendly waiters and delicious desserts made us smile again.

The best Adana kebab. I've only been eating Adana here for years. I can also recommend Sac Kavurma and Lahmacun with doner meat.

My favorite restaurant for breakfast. The pide is one of the best in Mannheim, especially in combination with kebab sauce. The service is very courteous and quick.

Here you wait at least 30 minutes until you are served, mind you on days that are not busy.

Appetizers were out of the bag. Unfortunately the taste is not convincing. Everything is kind of run down.

For God's sake, I had not seen a Turkish restaurant in Europe for a long time, and I got excited and was deceived only by its decoration, so I asked for roasted hair and meat doner over rice. Even those who are starting their kitchen life for the first time could do better with the oil cooking styles they used. I haven't been able to get out of the toilet for a day. I do not advise you to go with violence. If you don't know the job, close it. You are poisoning people.

So people don't throw your money out the window, the food was inedible, we almost gave the plates back full. The meat on the pide in particular was over-seasoned and sour, reminiscent of spoiled meat. The Iskender kebab didn't taste good either, we've never eaten such bad kebab meat. The prices for the portion are not worth the money. The cards are so dirty and sticky, the service was very nice and the food came relatively quickly. But that's the only positive thing about it, although you have to say we came at a time when there wasn't much going on! We're definitely not coming back!

Iskender brought our order as a plate of doner kebabs, "even though we specifically asked". When we asked what this was, we received the insincere answer that it was our Iskender plate. It was one of the worst places I've ever seen in my life.

I wanted a mixed grill plate, it didn't have lamb, and it had doner in it. It's not too difficult to get a doner dish. Adana is old meat and tastes bad. Chicken will do. The bread was not fresh as it was the morning bread, the salad was chopped with parsley sprigs, although I said Adana meat was bad, a boss-like person there said it smelled like lamb (I don't think he has ever eaten lamb in his life) and the saddest thing was that I had a bad stomach after the meal and I had a bad day. In the service sector, it is mandatory to provide good service to people. I hope they will get out of the passenger business mentality and try to be a good restaurant as soon as possible. I have eaten in many places around the world, it is a great success to be among the top two in the worst ranking and to surpass the Indian street restaurant 😂😂😂.

The three of us had dinner last night. My friend and I had a starter platter for 2 and a grill platter for 2. My girlfriend had her own dish. Food was okay. Waiters were nice too. At the end where we wanted to pay by card (it was at 10:40 p.m.) the waiter told us that the other waiter had accidentally already printed out the bill as cash and then asked us to go to the bank to withdraw money. The invoice was printed at 10:03 p.m. We hadn't even ordered our food. I don't have to describe the politics that goes on in the store here. But we didn't say anything. Since we couldn't eat our food because it was too much, we wanted to take it with us. They packed it for us. When we got home, our food was mixed with our friend's food and we liked more than half of it. If I had known yesterday how people were being deducted there, I would have called the police straight away about the bill!

What I think is very nice is Meydan, the first Lockal with tables for wheelchair users that they can easily drive under.

The servers are not professional apart from a few, disgusting food, very disrespectful servers, they almost forced me to tip! Never seen that! Null! Run away!

VERY DISAPPOINTING. Lots of fat, little taste AND served cold. Were there with several people. Half of them had already finished eating and when we were told, the rest came. And we were even charged for the food that was returned. Unfortunately not again.

We had a kebab plate and the vegetarian skewer. The service is friendly and we didn't have to wait long for our food. The skewer was with pepperoni, pointed peppers and haloumi cheese and there was salad, bulgur rice and rice. The kebab plate was typically seasoned, there was yoghurt with no taste and the meat was normally fried and juicy. My conclusion is that the visit is worth it.

I've been a customer at Meydan several times, but every now and then something happened. I have food WITHOUT CUCUMBER! Ordered due to an allergy! And this was repeated x3 times at the counter, unfortunately the food was to be taken away. How great was my surprise and stomach problems when I saw a mixture of tomato and cucumber salad underneath the whole lettuce. Unfortunately, due to the allergic reaction, it was not possible to drive by and complain! I've called several times and no one answers. I think with allergies it's not fun but a medical necessity to be able to rule out something like that! I don't recommend the restaurant to anyone with allergies! I took pictures as proof. I think it's a real shame because I drew the staff's attention several times!

Never eaten so badly. Small portions that were served cold. My food was ready after 2 minutes, but for my friend we waited 20 minutes. Never again.

I've been here a few times (3 times to be exact) and I can honestly say that the waiting time for service to arrive is really long. Apart from the portions you get served, it doesn't even fill you up. As for the taste part, I can say that it won't invite me again.

Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy it with 7 people. Because the kebab was like a small children's kebab filled with lots of salad, when we mentioned this twice to different servers we were told that it was standard. My lamb skewer was not tender and even had difficulty cutting the meat. Generally too dry, no sauce with it. If you ask, you can at least have mustard, of course they don't have any! Some of the chicken skewers were a bit charred and therefore very dry. We didn't have a starter either so we got this meze with three different sauces. There is 1 star for the fries, they were good. We will never come back, all 7 people were dissatisfied.

I am very disappointed with this store we were ripped off. Me and my wife ordered a torn plate that we couldn't eat completely. The record cost 60 euros. I asked the waiter to pack this up. At home we noticed he only packed half of it and probably threw the other half away. I will never eat in this store again and I am very disappointed.

I love coming here to eat, it tastes best here. The other restaurants next door are not recommended. It's best to come here :)

We've eaten here a few times now and so far everything has been great, the owner and the service staff were all very nice and friendly. There were about 15 of us and the food came pretty quickly after we ordered and was once again delicious. We'd love to come back.

In other words, the food was extremely mediocre, we waited 45 minutes for 3 shish wraps because there was limited manpower to prepare the food in the huge restaurant. When we asked why we were waiting, they said everyone is waiting and you will too. Don't expect any taste anyway...

If you want spicy and not too fatty meat and a sauce that really tastes like garlic, you should go to a small village and eat a kebab there. I will never go here again!!!

Very tasty food at a really good price. There is also bread and three different sauces. Portions are very good and I haven't tasted a better Adana kebab, even in Turkey. Staff very friendly. When I'm in Mannheim, this restaurant is definitely my first address.

Ich muss fairerweise sagen, dass ich das Meydan auch schon Mal besser erlebt habe. Es war kalt draußen und die Tür stand ständig offen. Wir fühlten uns nicht besonders willkommen. Der Burger war mit eiskalter Tomate belegt, so dass er lauwarm an den Tisch kam. Die Pommes waren gut gewürzt aber vollgesogen mit Fett. Die Manti waren in Ordnung. Wir kamen uns etwas deplatziert vor, der Kellner war freundlich aber gelangweilt. Nur für die Manti werden wir nicht wieder kommen.

Kiymali Pide de Kiyma malesef Cig geldi, im Laden sind überall Fruchtfliegen die auf dem essen und Getränke landen. Bei eurem Besuch schaut mal auf die Decke und stellt selbst mal fest, wieviele im Laden sind. 1 Stern mehr gibt es für die Preisleistung was aber wiederum die Qualität an Geschmack wieder darin spiegelt. Es war mal besser gewesen 🙋‍♂️

Ich finde die Speisen waren hervorragend und die Bewertung war sehr freundlich obwohl sie so viel Stress hatten zu jeder Zeit ansprechbar und Klasse Betreuung.

Essen war sehr lecker und wirklich reichlich, Service war auch sehr nett und schnell. Das Ambiente war nicht so toll, es war sehr eng und wirklich Tisch am Tisch!

essen und preis-leistungs verhältnis sind sehr gut gewesen. der service ist auch super, allerdings würde ich eine andere stellung der tische empfehlen (gruppentische). dadurch wird das gemeinsame essen gemütlicher.

Bestellung ist nicht vollständig gekommen und als wir freundlich nachgefragt haben was mit unserem Bestellung los war hat er zu uns kalt geantwortet dass er es vergessen hat zu bestellen ohne dass er sich bei uns entschuldigt und meinte dass es unsere Schuld sei da wir es ihm nicht gesagt hätten plus er hat uns ein apfelsaftschorle gebracht anstatt ein Kirschsaftschorle und hat sich am Anfang geweigert es zu ändern und meinte zum zweiten Mal zu uns dass wir es nicht gesagt haben

Für das, dass es der 1. Weihnachtsfeiertag war, war es angenehm gefüllt. Die Speisekarten kamen recht schnell. Nach paar Minuten kam Die Bedienung wo die Getränke Bestellung annahm die auch zügig gebracht wurde, so wie die Speisen die Im Anschluss bestellt wurden. Speisen waren lecker. Habe seit längerer Zeit nicht so ein perfektes Restaurant besucht. Die Servicekraft war super freundlich. Alle Wünsche wurden von den Lippen abgelesen. Wir haben keine 10 Minuten auf das Essen warten müssen. Die Speisen waren sehr lecker. Vielen Dank an Adanali Ahmet Abi!

Eng, kalt, teuer. Kunden sitzen eng aneinander. Im Winter und an den Wochenenden sollte man Mannheim und vor allem diesen Restaurant vermeiden. .ein leberkebap war verbrannt und kaum essbar. Alles in allem never again...
