I got Cağ kebabı. I enjoyed the skewers. But not rice. The side dish didn't taste that good either. The service was very nice and helpful. What's not okay is the price. 2 skewers and some rice cost €19.95. I think it's too expensive, however, when you compare it to other competitors.

We buy cag kebab, 90% of it is fatty, there is no meat in it, there was hair on the appetizer plate, the prices are very expensive and the meat is very small, I don't recommend it. Waitress very friendly, food was ok. Meze doesn't taste good. There are no vegetables in the spicy meze, just a spicy tomato paste. Yogurt meze was sour. However, the owner of the shop wanted to charge us twice each, even though it was clear to him that several dishes had already been paid for by someone else (we were a group) and he indicated this by crossing it out on the waiter's note. When asked why he was charging for the food again, he said he only did what he was told. That's not possible - we're not coming anymore

*Disappointing – price/performance not justified* I really expected more from this cağ kebap, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing! The portion was incredibly small and absolutely not appropriate for the price. For almost €19.50 I would have expected at least a decent portion, but instead the cağ kebap was hardly filling! The meat was also rather lean and seemed like a small, squashed amount of meat. It just wasn't enough to satisfy the hunger. !!! The price is simply not justified for what you get. I've eaten many cağ kebabs with much better value for money, with significantly larger portions and better taste. The only bright spot was the service – it was really friendly and accommodating. The staff made an effort, but unfortunately even the friendly service could not console the disappointment caused by the poor portion and the overpriced.

Unfortunately we won't be coming back.

Oltu Cag Kebapi is a real family favorite of ours in Mannheim. We go here often and have tried Cag Kebap in Turkey too - the taste is really close to the original. The Cag Kebap with fries and meze (various sauces and salads) is simply excellent and authentically prepared. The location near the market square is very practical and easily accessible. The only small point of criticism: the service could occasionally be a little more attentive. Despite everything, Oltu Cağ Kebapı remains a top address for us when it comes to Turkish cuisine in Mannheim. Food-wise, definitely worth recommending!

As the name suggests, Çağ kebab is at the forefront, but unfortunately I did not like it very much. You have to be very careful, Çağ kebab comes uncooked when you swallow it! You regret it. My family and I bought food from there to take away and when we opened it at home, a few ingredients were missing such as sauce/hot sauce. The bread was also old and dry and cut even though it was supposed to be whole and warm. The salad wasn't fresh and looked very unhealthy. I don't recommend taking anything with you from home.

Cağ kebabı biraz daha az tuzlu ve yağlı olsa faha iyi olur ama en azından %100 kuzu eti, Almanya’daki diger dönerler gibi içinde ne olduğundan (kıyma vs) şüphe ettirmiyor. Türkiye standardında idare eser ama gurbete göre epey iyi. Ben özellikle kelle paça çorbasını sevdim.

Eine lange Anreise wurde nicht belohnt. Sowohl das Reis als auch die Pommes Frites waren kein Gaumenschmaus! Cag Kebap seeehr dick geschnitten und auch sehr fettig gewesen. So kennen wir das nicht. Die Absauganlagen sind so desolat, das die Kleidungsstücke die wir getragen haben einfach nicht mehr zum aushalten waren. Kein weiteres Mal werden wir dieses Lokal besuchen.. Schade

Leider war das Fleisch sowohl beim Dönerteller, vorallem aber beim Cag Kebab, was meines Verständnisses die Spezialität des Ladens sein soll, von keiner guten Qualität. Besonders bei letzterem war das Fleisch zu gefühlt 50% aus Fett, der Rest ziemlich zäh. Die Einrichtung und Atmosphäre ist ziemlich spartanisch und lieblos. Insgesamt nicht wirklich einladend, geschweige denn empfehlenswert.

Waren heute zum ersten Mal dort Essen. Aufgrund von einen Youtuber der es empfohlen hatte. Allerdings war das Video auch 2 Jahre alt. Haben die Bewertungen nicht gelesen gehabt und uns auf sen Weg gemacht. 80 km sind wir gefahren. Erst dachte ich mir ok, sieht alles ganz lecker aus. Hat im ersten Moment auch gut geschmeckt. Aber das Fleisch von Cag Kebab war sehr fettig. Hatten auch noch einen Adana Spieß. Die Hygiene war auch nicht die beste. Als wir wieder gegangen waren ca 30 Minuten später bekam ich extreme Magenkrämpfe und Durchfall. Hab jetzt 7 Stunden später immer noch Bauchschmerzen. Habe mir inzwischen die Bewertungen der anderen durchgelesen und bin auf ähnliche Erfahrungen gestoßen. Sehr schade und traurig. 160km für nix und dann noch Bauchkrämpfe. Kommen nicht wieder.

Die Qualität und der Service haben erheblich nachgelassen. Warscheinlich sind die Taschen voll und die Inhaber geben sich keine Mühe mehr. Die Toiletten sind eine Katastrophe, der Service lässt zu wünschen übrig, sehr langsam und Sachen die eig. dabei sind zu dem Essen was wir bestellt hatten, kamen erst nach unserer Aufforderung. Die Preise sind natürlich ordentlich gestiegen aber alles andere leider nachgelassen. Das Ambiente ist gefühlt seit 20 Jahren das selbe, nichts hat sich verändert und die Geräuschkulisse ist der Wahnsinn. Mein Kopf hat gebrummt nach einem Abendessen dort weil es viel zu Laut war obwohl der Laden nur zur hälfte gefüllt war.

Das Fleisch war nicht durchgebacken.

Der Lamm Kebab war nichts besonderes, die Portion für 10€ normal, Brot haben wir keines bekommen und auch nur wenig Soße - obwohl wir zu 4 waren. 0,3er Cola für 2,50€ ist in Ordnung - Glasflasche als Preis sogar sehr gut. Fleisch schmeckt halt nach Lamm, überdurchschnittlich fettig, wir brauchen es nicht nochmal.

Der Lahmacun war einer der besten, die ich jemals gegessen habe. Der Herr im Service war sehr freundlich und die Wartezeit war human. Preisleistungsverhältniss wirklich Top, da die Portionen dem auch gerecht werden. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Qualität steht hier an erster Stelle. Superlecker und preislich top. Hier wird wirklich die türkische Küche zelebriert und es schmeckt alles perfekt. Vielen Dank für diese Geschmacksexplosion. Ein Oltu Cag Kebap und ein Iskander Kebap dazu gab es Brot, etwas Knoblauchsoße und zwei scharfe Paprika. Der Oltu Cag Kebap hat leider nicht meinen Geschmack getroffen. Das Lammfleisch war leider sehr fettig und zäh. Der Reis war leider auch nur mäßig gewürzt und war nichts Besonderes. Der Iskander Kebap war geschmacklich besser, auch das Fleisch war zarter und besser. Die Joghurt-/Tomatensoße war gut. Im Gesamten war das Essen in Ordnung, jedoch leider weder sehr gut noch besonders. Die Erwartungen, die durch den Ruf von manch einem YouTuber geweckt worden sind, konnten nicht im Ansatz erfüllt werden. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt meiner Meinung nicht ganz.

Das Oltu Restaurant bietet sehr leckeres Essen an. Der ganzen Familie hat es gut geschmeckt. Ich kann es weiterempfehlen.
