The food cag kebab could be better. Did not meet my expectations. See the meat is too thick and does not have lavash bread

I like the place, never had any problems. I've been going there for 15 years. The food tastes good, lamb skewers or chicken kebabs. I can't say much about the cağ kebab, I've only tried it once. The portion size for the cağ kebab is a bit small. In itself, the portions for the other dishes are okay. What I like most is that from 9 p.m. you can get certain dishes for a few euros cheaper. My only criticism is the service. If you sit outside, you have to let them know you want to order. They're not exactly nice, especially the one man with a beard, around 45. He always gives you strange looks, especially when you're ordering. I have no idea what kind of films this man watches.

The staff were extremely unhappy. There were two waiters. The male waiter was slightly better. The other employees and patrons all looked incredibly tense. The patron stood at the foot of the customers sitting at the outside table, nervously observing the surroundings. The 20 euro plate of çağ kebab wasn't particularly filling either. They only served one flatbread, which was cold and very hard. We didn't like it in every way. We read about it in the reviews before going. I won't be going again. We don't recommend it.

Food is amazing. Even better than some I had in Istanbul. Highly recommend this place instead of the one across the street, Bursa. Oltu Cag is authentic and the staff is so friendly and helpful. So glad to have found this place. The portions are huge and so generous with offerings.

Adana Kebab is abysmal – even after 15 years, the meat quality is still substandard and the butchers are poor. Cartilage, bones, pieces of skin, or tendons have no place in a kebab. The good location and low standards of quality keep the shop running well...

A very authentic cağ kebab, the likes of which are rarely found in Germany – I've only seen it here so far. The taste was outstanding and immediately reminded me of Turkey. We visited Oltu Cağ Kebab today because the other restaurant we originally planned to go to had a long line. Since I know and love Cağ Kebab from Istanbul, I was excited to try it here — but unfortunately, I left disappointed. The service was unfriendly from the start — no smile, no sense of welcome. One waiter was chatting with a delivery person outside, and even though I raised my hand to get his attention, he only came after five minutes and asked, without any warmth, “What would you like to drink?” We ordered our food and sat down. The soup was okay. When the waiter asked me if I wanted garlic (sarımsak) with my kelle paça, I said yes — but it arrived without any. When I asked him about it, he pointed to the garlic on the table. Sure, I saw it — but why ask in the first place if it’s not prepared with garlic in the kitchen? The Cağ Kebab, priced at €19 for just two skewers, felt overpriced. The meat was slightly dry and lacked the juicy tenderness I associate with a proper Cağ Kebab. In the end, the food was okay, but the overall experience just didn’t feel right. For me, it was the first and probably the last visit.

Oltu Cag Kebapi is a real family favorite of ours in Mannheim. We go here often and have tried Cag Kebap in Turkey too - the taste is really close to the original. The Cag Kebap with fries and meze (various sauces and salads) is simply excellent and authentically prepared. The location near the market square is very practical and easily accessible. The only small point of criticism: the service could occasionally be a little more attentive. Despite everything, Oltu Cağ Kebapı remains a top address for us when it comes to Turkish cuisine in Mannheim. Food-wise, definitely worth recommending!

The bread was also old and dry and cut even though it was supposed to be whole and warm. The salad wasn't fresh and looked very unhealthy. I don't recommend taking anything with you from home.
