Although we did not have breakfast, they wanted 34 Euros for a slice of dessert and two coffees on top of the breakfast fee. Also, the attitude was ugly and disrespectful. Money trap!!!!!!!

Everything was great, we were stuffed with unlimited food and drinks. But one of the drawbacks of the village was the lack of napkins in the restrooms.

We've had breakfast here several times, and we think it's wonderful. There's a huge selection at the breakfast buffet, including orange juice and tea. Everything is fresh and hot.

The breakfast buffet was very varied and delicious, offering a cross-section of the menu. I have absolutely no complaints.

Service was fast. The food tasted normal. Prices were a bit expensive, as the meat portions were relatively small. The ambiance, etc., was nice and clean. A bit noisy, as it was always full. But that's not the restaurant's fault, of course; just mentioned.

We were there around 9:30 a.m., before the crowds started (it's supposed to get quite busy from 11 a.m. onwards). It was super relaxed, not rushed, and a really great atmosphere. The selection is huge – from fresh salads and hot dishes to baked goods and sweets, they really have everything. Everything we tried was delicious – nothing we didn't like! Tea and juice are included, which I think is really great. For €16, it's absolutely recommended – we'll definitely be back!

I like coming here for the lunch buffet because there's a wide selection of dishes (usually at least two with meat) and also plenty of side dishes (fries/rice/potatoes, lots of vegetables, a few fried items), salads, and a dessert station and fruit. The price is more than reasonable at €15, and I have to say the food tastes *very* good; especially the meat here is cooked/fried to perfection and well-seasoned. There's also a breakfast buffet before lunch and on weekends. While I prefer other breakfast buffets in the area, you can have an omelet made on-site, which is great. It gets very busy on weekends, though, as the breakfast selection is actually even larger (especially when it comes to bread and cakes). One small criticism: people from outside often come to beg at the tables, which seems to be tolerated by the staff – it's not the end of the world for me, but oh well. You can also eat à la carte here, of course; the pide are especially popular and look absolutely delicious!

We've tried many Turkish breakfast buffets in Mannheim and found the one at Lale to be the best—especially because of the great quality of the food, the huge selection, and because everything tastes super fresh!

I visited the Lale restaurant in Mannheim and was completely impressed. From the moment you enter, you immediately feel at home; the decor is modern yet cozy, and the staff is friendly and attentive. My highlight was the Lale Tavuk Makarna dish. It's a large portion of penne pasta in a wonderfully creamy sauce. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the texture was just right, and the sauce had a delicate, balanced flavor that wasn't too heavy, yet still very aromatic. I particularly liked the subtle use of spices, allowing the creaminess and full flavor of the sauce to take center stage. The portion is truly generous and absolutely filling. You should definitely go to the restaurant hungry if you order this dish, as it would be a shame to leave any leftovers. Fresh bread and small side dishes are served alongside, rounding off the meal. Overall, the Lale restaurant offers an excellent combination of delicious food, generous portions, and a very pleasant atmosphere. Anyone looking for a restaurant in Mannheim that impresses with both taste and price should definitely plan a visit. I'll definitely be back!

Mittagsbuffet was good and had nice service. They refilled very quickly.

We come here often, but unfortunately, the quality is getting worse and worse. Today we had the grilled platter for two people again. The lamb was brought five minutes later than the platter. The chef had forgotten it. It was obvious. It was dried out and rock hard. Then I realized the lahmacun was also missing. It arrived lukewarm and with white cheese. The table was cleared, which was fine. But so were the half-full glasses. We didn't want to argue any further. We won't be back. The friendliness was also very poor. The restrooms were very dirty.

First of all, the place is elegant. The warm, family atmosphere is palpable thanks to the staff. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, and everything we tried was delicious. The staff is polite, friendly, and warm-hearted. I'd especially like to thank Emel Hanım.

If there was an option to give 0 stars or minus for the service, I would choose that. The food is not worth the price, not very tasty. They charge a fee for children under 7 years old. I paid 9 Euros for my 4-year-old daughter. I will not come again and I will not recommend it to anyone.

Unfortunately, the breakfast has declined considerably. The sausage was in a tomato soup, the sucuk was dry, and many hot containers were almost empty and not refilled (we were there around 11 a.m.). Other guests also seemed visibly disappointed. Several dishes, including the soups, were dried out and discolored around the edges of the containers. Unfortunately, it's no longer worth the price. When prices rise, quality should also keep pace – unfortunately, the opposite was the case here.

It's totally ok but nothing that is better than the competitors

The waiters are very friendly. I wouldn't recommend the Döner Restaurant here. The Döner meat wasn't cooked well and was served a bit pink. I tried a couple of the cooked pieces, but the meat didn't taste good at all. My son only ate the Pommesi, thinking it looked good in the picture, but he couldn't eat it. He, like me, normally enjoys any Döner Meat. May God bless the food, but we only managed to eat that little bit of Pommesi. So, we went hungry and came back hungry. My wife chose the mixed grill, but she liked it.

A friendly welcome at the door is important to us, and I value this greatly. We ordered some of the food, but we didn't like it, but the other dishes were delicious and tasty. Service was quick, considering the small crowd, and we didn't have to wait. The price wasn't expensive, so it didn't break the bank. Mr. Owl came by that day, and we chatted and chatted, and overall, it was a wonderful day. We went from Mainz. The mosque was also very important to us, so we thanked him for that.

The breakfast buffet felt like fly soup. How can an employee of that store see at least 20 flies sitting all over the food and just do nothing? That says a lot about the store's commitment to hygiene. I'm definitely not going back there. Disgusting.

We tried the breakfast buffet at Lale Restaurant today and it was really great! We came as three adults and two children. The food was fresh, delicious and had a lot of variety. The hot dishes and desserts were especially appreciated. The service was excellent – ​​they were friendly, fast and very attentive. The ambiance of the place is also very pleasant. We placed an order but my wife's order didn't arrive, they forgot. We asked for tea, a few years ago they charged 2.5€ for a small glass of tea. I wouldn't go again and I wouldn't recommend it.

Allerdings wollte ich zu süßen Teilen auch einen Kaffee trinken und war sehr erstaunt über den Preis für ein kleinen Café….. ist der Preis, der hier veranschlagt wird einfach viel zu hoch angesetzt das finde ich in Relationen nicht passend. Ansonsten war es okay.

A really great restaurant with polite and attentive staff. The dishes were very tasty. Two salads, bread and a spread were served free of charge with the meal. We paid 40 euros for pide, soup, a grill plate, ayran and coke. The dishes were prepared very quickly. After dinner it started to rain heavily and a restaurant employee called us a taxi - which was a very nice gesture. Service and food were at the highest level!

I was in this restaurant for the first time today with 3 guests. We had breakfast here. I and my guests really enjoyed it. The food was very tasty and very good. The staff was also very friendly.

We went there for iftar, it was good but not incredible either. The servers are very welcoming.

Very good... We booked the iftar table for 6 people 14 days in advance, and my friends and I did not experience a single problem. Our meals arrived at the same time and they took care of us with care. Dessert, tea etc. The offerings and services were very good. And I interpret this based on my experiences in famous restaurants in TR, USA and UK Australia. From the soups to the pita bread they made themselves, it was all good. The owner is honest and said that Ali Nazik's eggplant is canned, but in many places they want to claim that we make it ourselves, even though it is like that. As a result, it is my first choice when going to restaurants in Mannheim.

Unfortunately, despite having made a reservation, we were moved to the adjacent upper floor. After a stressful 45 minutes my food arrived and after another 15 minutes my wife's food arrived. Both dishes were cold. Unfortunately Adana is still raw (not medium but raw). Not nearly as good as the surrounding restaurants. The only thing that worked smoothly was the card payment. The toilets can only be accessed via the backyard balcony. We don't come here anymore.

Forced to be there. Unfortunately, my local restaurant had an extremely high volume, so I wanted to give the Lale Restaurant a chance. Spontaneously went on a Saturday at 6 p.m. and immediately got a table without waiting. The atmosphere is very loud and restless. It felt like you were waiting at a train station, people were constantly walking past you and hanging on to the tables. The waiter was friendly and helpful. Value for money is lacking, small portions, which were unfortunately served cold. The taste was okay, but with an Iskender plate costing just under €20 you can expect it to arrive warm and contain more than 150g of meat instead of 80% yoghurt.

A pure disappointment, close to a rip-off! We are often in the area to eat in the surrounding typical Turkish restaurants and therefore have a good comparison. However, since there were long queues for a table everywhere on Saturday evening between 7 and 8 p.m., which was the shortest at Lale, we decided on Lale. At the First bite I had a sandy, dirty feeling in my mouth. It was a piece of charcoal. We had lamb skewer once and chicken skewer once. The plates of the main courses were miserably filled and carelessly presented. My actual 2 skewers were only about 1.3 skewers and the second skewer, almost half of it, was definitely not chicken, but something else. And that for 18€. I'm willing to pay that much for a chicken dish, but only if the quality is right. The price-performance ratio here is definitely not right!!!! Especially since it is more of a fast-food restaurant and the atmosphere has nothing to do with “eating out in a relaxed atmosphere”. This must be reflected in the price, which it definitely isn't. You weren't asked if everything was ok, which reinforces the impression that it was a deliberate rip-off.

We have been there many times over the last few years. We didn't like it the time before last. Yesterday, when we were back in the area, we first wanted to visit another restaurant on the market square. But people were lining up at the entrances there. Since we didn't want to wait, we gave Lale another chance. Sorry, but it was the wrong decision and really bad for us. Very very disappointing. We ordered an iskender and two donner plates. The Iskender was anything but an Iskender. The two kebab plates!??? Fear… No salad. Just two slices of tomatoes. We have a small dog. But your Cezar looks or looked better so far. It's very sad that you get ripped off for your own money. We had to pay €55. It wasn't worth it! Really sad! And never again! Poor Germany!

We were recently at the Lale Restaurant in Mannheim and were looking forward to a nice breakfast. The breakfast was actually good – fresh, tasty and the atmosphere was pleasant. However, the disappointment was even greater for the Lahmacuns and Pide. The taste of the lahmacuns was far from what we expected - bland, dry and obviously not freshly made. The lahmacun meat had a strange aftertaste that immediately raised doubts about its quality. Unfortunately, it wasn't just about the taste: Shortly after eating we had severe stomach pains that stayed with us for the rest of the day. It is unacceptable that so little care is shown when preparing food. There can be no compromises when it comes to freshness and quality, especially when it comes to meat. A good breakfast cannot cover up the fact that the rest of the food was not edible. It's a shame, we had hoped for more. For us, it was definitely the last time we will order lahmacun or meat dishes there.

Lale restaurant, which we discovered in February 2023 and liked very much, is the priority of our visit to Manheim this year. They wrote on the door that the huge open buffet breakfast costs 14.50€. But you have to pay 16€ inside. If you take it to court, you will win. Also, the woman who takes care of the customer is very aggressive.

Food is no longer what it used to be

THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE SCANDAL AND AN UNRESPONSIBLE RISK TO VISITORS' HEALTH. AS IF THAT WASN'T BAD ENOUGH, TAKEN PINEAPPLE WAS ALSO SERVED, OBVIOUSLY FROM A CAN. THE PINEAPPLE WAS MOLDY, WHICH WAS CLEARLY RECOGNIZED BY THE TASTE AND SMELL. IN ADDITION, WE WERE OFFERED A “FRESHLY PRESSED ORANGE JUICE” WHICH TURNED OUT TO BE A CHEAP LIDL JUICE THAT WAS SIMPLY REFILLED IN FRONT OF OUR EYES. I actually always really enjoyed eating here. The ambience is great, the food is delicious and the service is very friendly. However, on our last visit we saw a mouse walking in the dining area. Even though we were assured that this sort of thing was normal in Mannheim because of the doors that opened, we didn't find it all that great. Our food had already been eaten, but the mouse had a bitter aftertaste. So we won't be coming here in the future.

If you don't want gastrointestinal problems you should avoid this restaurant. Manti were served despite the fact that they were spoiled. Minced meat smelled extremely. Tomato sauce was ice cold. After complaining, the waiter confirmed that they smelled. Our minced meat pide was extremely fatty and oily. You should urgently work on the service and food quality here!
