Trattoria Saro in Remscheid

Hab nur einen Mista gegessen der war in Ordnung. Für essen kann ich also nichts sagen. Das beilagen brot war prima und orginal italienisch. Peroni hab ich getrunken gehört für mich zu einem italienischen Restaurant. Die Einrichtung fand ich prima und zum wohlfühlen. Restaurant Besitzer waren Italiener, was mir sehr wichtig ist wenn es ein italienisches Restaurant ist.

Essen ist an sich gut. Beim Service kommts drauf an wer arbeitet, waren am Sonntag da und da waren 2 junge Damen im Service, haben ohne Reservation unkompliziert einen Tisch bekommen und wurden zügig bedient. Am Mittwoch war da nur ein Herr im Service der erst rumgedruckst hat uns einen Schattenplatz zu geben und dann wurden wir ewigs nicht bedient. Nach 20min sind wir aufgestanden und gegangen... tja wers nicht nötig hat..

Top! Wären mit der Familie da und alles hat überzeugt. Authentisch!

Ein schönes Lokal mit einem guten Service und gutem Essen.

Leider nicht mehr das, was es mal war. Nach dem Inhaberwechsel hat die Qualität spürbar nachgelassen. Saro war früher das Aushängeschild für Pizza in Lennep – heute sind die Pizzen signifikant kleiner geworden, was bei gleichbleibend hohen Preisen gerade noch akzeptabel wäre, wenn der Geschmack noch stimmen würde. Doch auch qualitativ war es leider eine Enttäuschung. Das Pastagericht konnte geschmacklich ebenfalls nicht überzeugen, und der 'Insalata Angus' war für den Preis eine sehr kleine Portion. Insgesamt haben wir für drei Margherita, eine Pasta und einen Salat 62,80 € gezahlt. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier aktuell leider gar nicht mehr. Sehr schade, wir hatten uns mehr erhofft.

Heute zum ersten Mal hier gewesen. Toller Service, sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Sehr gemütliches Ambiente, lädt zum Verweilen ein. Auch die Lage top. Nun zum Essen, es war wirklich sehr gut. Salat schön frisch mit tollem Dressing. Die Pizza auf den Punkt. Und das ganze zu wirklich fairen Preisen. Nur zu empfehlen, gerne wieder.

Das Essen ist sehr gut, leider war es mir viel zu warm am zugewiesenen Tisch. Ich hatte einen Tisch vorbestellt. Der lag gegenüber der Küche. Die im hinteren Bereich sind kühler. Eine Bestellung ist leider nicht am Tisch angekommen.... kann mal passieren.

Ich war dort und man war sehr freundlich zu uns! Wie haben uns für Pizza entschieden und die waren alle hervorragend! Die Preise sind angemessen.. war nicht das letzte Mal dort!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Abend zu zweit in der Trattoria Saro. Das Essen war hervorragend, die Getränke lecker und der Service sehr aufmerksam. Auch die Beleuchtung und das Ambiente sind richtig schön. Klar, es war voll und die Tische stehen recht eng – das gehört in einer beliebten Trattoria dazu und sorgt für lebendige Geräuschkulisse. Uns hat es trotzdem sehr gut gefallen und wir kommen gerne wieder!

Essen war sehr lecker, das Ambiente etwas zu laut.

Ich war gestern wieder im Saro. Der Service war wieder wie früher. Einfach Spitze. Sehr freundliche und schnelle. Das Essen ist immer sehr gut. Bei meinem letzten Besuch war ich sehr enttäuscht, habe das auch mitgeteilt. Aber wenn sich alles wieder zum guten entwickelt hat, sollte man es auch mitteilen. Macht weiter so. Liebe Grüße Michael

Sehr authentisches italienisches Restaurant, ich freue mich jedes Mal über die wechselnde Tageskarte mit neuen kreativen Gerichten. Fantastische offene Weine von der Karte, noch besser die Empfehlungen des Hauses, für Weinliebhaber. Wer gutes Essen und guten Wein zu schätzen weiß, ist im Saro genau richtig!

Guten Tag, liebes Saro-Team, vielen Dank für Ihre Rückmeldung auf unsere Anpassung der Bewertung. Gerne möchten wir hierzu Stellung nehmen. Eine Rezension ist immer eine Momentaufnahme der tatsächlich erlebten Leistung. Deshalb kann und muss eine Bewertung auch nach unten korrigiert werden, wenn die Qualität bei einem späteren Besuch nicht mehr stimmt. Das ist weder unfair noch unsachlich, sondern dient der Transparenz gegenüber anderen Gästen - Sinn und Zweck dieser Bewertungsplattform. Zur Einordnung: Im RGA wurde bei der Übernahme durch die neuen Besitzer betont, dass das Team im Wesentlichen gleich bleibt. Genau deshalb sind wir mit gleichbleibend hohen Erwartungen wiedergekommen. Bereits bei unserem ersten Besuch nach dem Wechsel mussten wir jedoch feststellen, dass das Essen deutlich anders schmeckt und qualitativ nicht an das frühere Niveau heranreicht. Wir hatten als Vorspeise Caprese, Vitello tonnato und Focaccia und danach 2 x Rinderfilet mit Salat, frischem Gemüse und Rosmarindrillingen. Das Rinderfilet war, ebenso wie alle anderen Zutaten, von hervorragender Qualität, auf den Punkt medium butterzart (sous-vide?) gegart und hat auf dem Teller nicht nachgeblutet. Auch der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und versiert- der Gast wird regelrecht verwöhnt. Danke, liebes Saro Team, ihr seid hervorragende Gastgeber!

Unfortunately, the seafood pizza only gets 3 stars because I was disappointed by the quantity. It would have been better to charge a little more but get more ingredients. The service is friendly, but not quite perfect, hence 4 stars 🌟. We'll definitely be back and will happily enjoy our next pizza, pasta, and more there.

I had the Tortellini Ricotta Spinaci. They were very tasty. However, the portion was very, very small. It's really just an appetizer, and at €16.90, it was too expensive. A 0.5l wheat beer is also on the high side at €6. Unfortunately, I didn't take a photo.

Trattoria Saro is a cozy Italian restaurant located in the charming old town of Lennep. A few tables outside and a warm atmosphere make the place have a lot of potential. The service deserves special mention – very polite and helpful, which definitely affects the positive impression. Unfortunately, when it comes to the food, I have mixed feelings. The pizza Margherita was disappointing – soft, undercooked and practically tasteless. I expected more from Italian cuisine, even if served outside Italy. The pasta Carbonara was also more like a German interpretation than a classic Italian dish – it lacked the characteristic depth of flavor. The tiramisu was also nothing special – average, like from a ready-made set. To sum up – nice atmosphere and great service, but the cuisine unfortunately did not live up to expectations. I hope that the quality of the dishes will improve over time, because the place really has a lot of potential.

As always, everything was very good. We received a friendly welcome and the food was simply delicious! We felt very comfortable. Reservations are recommended.

We were there for the second time, after the pizza was world class the first time. salami pizza with spicy salami. The second time the pizza was completely without salt. didn't taste good at all. I told the service that the dough had zero salt. It has been noted and briefly heard how this information arrived at the pizza baker. Zack, that was it. Answer from the service: I let the kitchen know. no replacement, no apology, no compensation. For the demands they put out there, it wasn't even a district league. Wie sind schon sehr oft da gewesen um einen netten italienischen Abend zu verbringen. Zum Valentinstag gibt es eine Rose für die Dame. Die Speisekarte bietet für jeden etwas und zusätzlich immer Tagesgerichte, die auf einer Schiefertafel angeboten werden. Der Service ist toll und der Primitivo, direkt aus der Flasche am Tisch ausgeschenkt, ein Gaumengenuss. Wir bestellen fast immer Pizza, die gut belegt ist und einen knusprigen Teig hat. Vorspeisenteller auch schon ausprobiert, aber wir finden ihn etwas zu teuer. Sonst aber volle Zufriedenheit, auch weil wir immer einen schönen Tisch bekommen. Ate 2 pizzas at Saro last Sunday and were not happy because the pizza was completely tasteless... the only thing that worked was garlic... We also shared this with the waitress who wanted to pass it on? I don't want to open a barrel here or say something bad, but after I wrote a review I was insulted in the worst possible way... That's not how it works, dear operator!!!

Our pizzas were large, but had hardly any taste, very bland. Only the delicious garlic oil served gave the pizza some spice 🍕. Your owner informed us of our negative review answered a lie and said we didn't say goodbye. We both said goodbye loud enough and we were also answered with goodbye. We didn't finish the pizza completely and initially wanted to return it. The service was friendly, but the owner doesn't accept negative criticism and responds with lies! He did not respond to positive reviews. If you ask me if I liked it then I also give an honest answer, and in a friendly way! The owner could have come to our table and then we would have refrained from giving a negative review! For your money you can ask for a 🍕 that also tastes like pizza. I'm a good cook myself. The boss has my partner with his answer insulted and accused us of “malice” and being uneducated. We even gave a tip, but only 0.50 euros because we weren't satisfied.

Eight of us had dinner there yesterday. The pizzas were really good, reservations went well and the waitresses were attentive. Unfortunately, the store was very hectic and the seating was far too narrow. I had to move very close to my table so that the lady at the next table could stand up. As cramped as in a typical economy tourist plane :D There were TOO MANY waitresses buzzing around at all the tables, watching the plates/drinks. I would never have personal conversations here. Located in the middle of the old town, which makes parking a bit difficult, but there are options e.g. B. in front of the pharmacy or larger parking lot outside. The veal from the Vitello Tonnato was extremely tender and the sauce was simply delicious. The subsequent pasta with chanterelles and salsiccia was sensational. Great seasoned with garlic and delicious sauce. Mega! Attentive service and finally a Sambucca on the house, that's how customer-oriented gastronomy works! Thanks!

After an extensive tour of the old town, we stopped at *SARO. The pizzas were large and very tasty. And the service was attentive and very friendly. We also really liked the unusual ambience inside. But you can also sit very comfortably outside on the cobblestones.

Tolle Antipasti, wirklich gute Pizzen, aber auch fantastische Gerichte. Meine Linguine mit Meeresfrüchten war ausgezeichnet. Dazu eine aufmerksame Bedienung und immer wieder der Blick vom Koch aus der Küche, ob es einem auch schmeckt. Wir kommen auf jedem Fall wieder.

After a very friendly welcome, the daily recommendations written on a blackboard were presented to us. We chose spaghetti aglio e olio and veal schnitzel Milanese. Both dishes were excellent... the spaghetti had just the right amount of spiciness, the garlic was lightly roasted and the overly large schnitzel had a crispy, spicy breading. The ambience corresponded to the lively, loud hustle and bustle of a large Italian family.

The food was good, quality. When it came to the starter, however, one had the impression that it had been frozen. May be critical with tuna. The grappa was diluted with water. Restaurant isn't exactly cheap either.

The food, service and ambience was good. You just have to get used to the fact that it is very loud. But that depends on the location and cannot be changed. Otherwise a nice place to spend a nice evening with friends.

The homemade noodles were a complete disgrace. Tiny plate with 6 or 7 noodles. Taste ok, nothing special. But I wasn't nearly full. And that for 20 euros on the day ticket..

Great restaurant! Atmosphere, service and food were great. We've been going there for a while now and had to leave a review. Only fresh ingredients and everything prepared perfectly. Classic Italian dishes and a great, changing weekly menu. Any time!

A very nice restaurant in the middle of the city center. (Parking wasn't easy). The waiting times were completely ok. and the food was very good. The only regret was that there was no more space after the pasta, the pizzas also looked very good. If I come here again, I'd be happy to do so again!

Das Essen war gut, mein Dessert war sehr lieblos angerichtet. Das hatte ich vor 14 Tagen sehr schön angerichtet in einen anderen italienischen Restaurant, auch mit frischen Beeren und Sahne und Minze. Das für 5.90 € im anderen Lokal. Das Restaurant ist sehr voll gestopft mit Tischen, deshalb war die Akustik wie in einer Bahnhofsvorhalle.

Das Essen war super lecker und frisch, die Pizza war groß, dünn und lecker belegt und die Pasta wie sie italienischer kaum sein kann. Dadurch das der Gastraum relativ klein ist und voll ausgebucht war, war es recht laut. Ich gönne es dem Team aber von Herzen denn wenn ein Laden so nett, freundlich und gut ist sollte er immer ausgebucht sein. Macht weiter so.
