Trattoria Pizzeria Daunia in Remscheid

Wir waren gestern als Paar vor Ort. Perfekte Aussengastronomie mit sauberen Tischen. Hier kann man es gut aushalten! Der Kellner kannte alle Nummern der Speisenkarte, und somit auch alle Gerichte. Der professionelle und freundliche Service wurde auch am Nachbartisch gelobt. Es gab zweimal Pizza und Salat . Die Pizzen waren toll belegt und außen knusprig und innen saftig. So mögen wir das! Der Salat war total frisch und knackig. Preise empfanden wir als moderat, da auch alles gepasst hat. Kommen gerne wieder.👍

Kleines Lokal mit interessanten Angeboten auf der Tagestafel. Preise in Ordnung. Reservierung empfehlenswert.

Ich bewerte wie folgt Service! Der Herr vom Service ist seit 13 Jahren hier im Geschäft! Sehr fleißig und freundlich! Das Essen wirklich schmackhaft, was aus der Küche kommt ist lecker!! Es ist sauber und ordentlich! Den Rest sollte jeder für sich bewerten!

Daunia ist eines unserer Lieblingsrestaurants, da man immer gutes Essen, einen überaus freundlichen Kellner und guten Service erwarten kann.

Titel: Ein Stück Italien in Lennep – einfach fantastisch! Bewertung: 5 Sterne Wir haben kürzlich in der Trattoria Daunia in Lennep zu Abend gegessen und waren rundum begeistert. Es war ein Abend, der einfach Spaß gemacht hat! Das Ambiente ist wunderbar und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl und in eine typische italienische Trattoria versetzt. Ein riesiges Kompliment geht an den Service – wirklich mega! Absolut authentisch und original italienisch, was durch die im Hintergrund laufenden, original italienischen Lieder noch unterstrichen wurde. Diese Mischung schafft eine Atmosphäre, die ihresgleichen sucht. Aber auch kulinarisch hat alles gestimmt: Das Essen war super lecker und die Getränke waren ebenfalls sehr gut. Qualitativ und geschmacklich einfach top. Alles in allem hatten wir einen wunderschönen Abend in der Trattoria Daunia. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können eine Weiterempfehlung nur aussprechen!

Kleines, gemütliches Lokal mit freundlichem und aufmerksamen Personal. Wir hatten Pizza, der Belag war ordentlich und von insgesamt guter Qualität. Preiswert, doch ein klein wenig mehr geht schon noch.

Anscheinend hatten wir einen schlechten Tag erwischt, die Lasagne war sehr dünnflüssig mit sehr wenig Fleisch, der Teig der Pizza war lecker, der Belag hätte würziger sein können. Bedienung war aufmerksam und freundlich, das Ambiente durchaus gemütlich, leider durch eine größere Gruppe etwas laut, was bei nur kleinen Gruppen nicht so wäre.

Toller Service, klasse Speisen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Update 11/25: heute unglaublich köstliche Gänsekeule gegessen, die butterzart war, wirklich phänomenal!!! Phantastisches Sößchen. Ebenso der Wildschweinbraten ist ein Gedicht! 🐗🪿🍗🍖 Monika und Matteo sind seit Jahrzehnten eine Institution in Lennep und nicht mehr wegzudenken! Familiengeführte, romantische, unkomplizierte Trattoria im Herzen der zauberhaften Altstadt - einfach zum Wohlfühlen und Abschalten. Das Essen ist schmackhaft, der Primitivo verwöhnt die Kehle, der Service ist super nett und im Sommer trifft sich halb Lennep im Aussenbereich direkt am hübschen Marktplatz. Ein kleines Stück Apulien mitten in Lennep - wir haben die Vastis schon lange in unser Herz geschlossen und werden noch in 20 Jahren Stammgäste sein!

Das Essen war gut, aber am Ende, wie aus heiterem Himmel, akzeptierten sie keine Kreditkarten. Am polnischen Tisch nebenan passierte dasselbe. „Am Eingang ist ein Kartenlesegerät“, sagten sie, „nein, ich akzeptiere diese Karte nicht …“ Okay, eine Visa Platinum Karte, seltsam, die funktioniert überall, nur hier nicht … Also musste ich im Regen Bargeld abheben … Ehrlich gesagt, hätte ich am liebsten einfach gekündigt, ohne zu bezahlen.

Hier wird Gastfreundschaft gelebt. Italienisches Flair kommt im antiken Stil eingerichtetem Speiseraum zur Geltung. Essen mehr als solide. Vor allem die Tagesgerichte und Pilzgerichte sind zu empfehlen

Es herrscht eine so schöne, gemütliche Atmosphäre, und das Essen ist authentisch italienisch – zubereitet von Italienern! Ich komme wieder. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team 🙏

Service war unterirdisch. Bestellungen wurden nicht verstanden und es wurden falsche Getränke geliefert. Der Inhaber hatte ständig ein grimmiges Gesicht und war sichtlich schlecht gelaunt. Das Essen war einfach gehalten und konnte das schlechte Erlebnis nicht sonderlich verbessern. Zumal die Bestellungen unserer Gruppe nicht zeitgleich geliefert werden konnten, sondern mit einem 30 min Zeitversatz. Ein Erlebnis, welches ich nicht empfehlen kann und diesen Ort künftig meiden werde. Dem Restaurant wünsche ich dennoch nur das Beste.

A very nice trattoria with good food and good staff and service.

We called at the weekend to ask if we needed a reservation. They said no, come by. When we finally arrived, we were seated at a table which was okay (outside). But then the unfriendly old dragon came and told us to sit somewhere else, which we couldn't sit there. We finally moved again, and then again at the children's table, which was greasy and dirty. We felt like we were being made fun of, cards were thrown over our right shoulder and we weren't even asked for a drink. We then went straight over to the pizzeria and quickly ate the pizza at the standing table. In conclusion, we thought dragons were extinct, apparently they live in this pizzeria, arrogant and unfriendly. If you want to eat really good pizza, go to the Glockenstuhl with Nino, always friendly and tasty and the pizza is worlds better...

Disaster. We'd been waiting for food for over an hour and a half.

All three meals (pizza, lasagna, pasta) were bland. Service was vaguely unfriendly. There are alternatives nearby…

Unfortunately, I have to revise my review. The portions were significantly smaller on our visit today; none of us were actually particularly full. When paying, it turned out we couldn't pay by card. The waiter explained the route to the Sparkasse bank to get money. Today was a huge disappointment, especially since we've been coming here for 13 years.

We ordered pizzas to go here. The pizzas were ready very quickly and were also delicious. Unfortunately, we lost a stone because the service was really unfriendly.

My impression: A BAD PITY!!! I was there today at 6:30 p.m., wanted to eat a delicious pizza. There were four free tables outside, but they didn't recognize that it was a reservation. I was asked to leave. Inside wasn't possible today, as all the tables were free. That's not possible. A pizza to eat would be fine. At the pizzeria, they said, "I'm sorry, would you sit outside?" I wonder if the staff know what they're doing. NEVER AGAIN. I recommend the pizzeria further down the street, at number 17. It's friendly and no problems. All the best, DAUNIA. That's it.

I was there with my friend on Corpus Christi at 12:30 p.m. We ordered food. At 2:45 p.m. I then reported to the waitress. Those around us who arrived after us already had their food. After my comment, our food finally arrived. My food was good, but my friend's left a lot to be desired. The food was cold. We then paid and were astonished at the price, which didn't match the menu. What a shame.

Very nice, friendly service, although she was sometimes a little overwhelmed because she had to manage the crowded beer garden on her own. The food was very good.

The antipasti were okay, but mostly not homemade. The spinach tortellini was only lukewarm. The spezzatino di vitello (veal goulash) looked unappetizing. Chunks of meat (really veal?) were swimming in a thin sauce in a small casserole dish. A small slice of white bread on either side. Vegetables? None. The prices were rather high, too expensive for what was offered.

We had dinner at this restaurant at 5 p.m. today. Unfortunately we had to wait almost 30 minutes for our drinks. After 2 hours (after multiple requests) the starter arrived. We got the main course 4x pizza after over 2.5 hours. In general, the mood among the employees was bad. Everyone is in a bad mood and complaining, including the boss. Unfortunately, this has passed on to us. Nobody apologized for the waiting time and explained... It's a shame, actually a nice shop and a great location. Unfortunately the quality has decreased significantly

Top Italian cuisine with excellent leadership!

Italians with a good menu. It is open when everyone in the area is still or already closed. Fast service, nice little terrace. Prices are OK, portions are above average. Pizzas are okay. Card payment possible but no tips via card payment. No own parking spaces.

Very tasty pizza! Experienced staff with humor. The only thing was that it was very stuffy. Only the front door was opened periodically. Thanks to this, we received at least some oxygen. Overall, we had a great dinner there. We definitely recommend the pizza!

Small, very rustic trattoria with a few tables, nice service and good food. It was my first time there with a larger group; it is strongly recommended to make a reservation for the evening because space is limited. But you can also have spontaneous luck at lunchtime; I recently tested this with a friend. The service is nice but not intrusive. The dishes are very tasty, pizza and pasta are well prepared, and there are always special offers on the daily menu. I like it very much.

We are visiting here from California vor the past 3 years and it is our go-to place for authentic Italian cuisine. We eat here several times during our stay and the food and service is always outstanding. We travelled through Italy last year and we really liked the pizzas and pasta dishes here better. Leider wurden wir trotz Reservierung und Wartezeit im Restaurant nicht bedient. Möchte den Kellnern nichts vorwerfen und gehe davon aus, dass sie einfach stark überfordert waren. Sind dann ohne Essen gegangen, von daher kann ich dies nicht bewerten. Wer viel Zeit hat, vielleicht klappt es. Für uns nie wieder.

Disastrous... Ordered a table for 6 people and received a table for 4 people. Operation is actually non-existent. Guests fight all over the place for the menu. It used to be good, but unfortunately I can now only advise against the store.

I would like to end the day here. My moped is parked within sight. Everyone knows each other among the Lennepers. Conversations from table to table arise spontaneously. The waiter likes to joke around with his regulars in his warm Italian way. Here you can enjoy and unwind from the day.

We were there when the weather was nice and sat outside. Starting with the seat allocation and ordering, the service is not attentive and disinterested. The pizza scampi tasted ok, nothing special, but there was plenty of scampi on it. Noodles with scampi were also ok, unfortunately the portion was a bit small. The food lacks a little spice for my taste, but everyone has to know that for themselves.

It's freezing cold here. When this was pointed out, people got the stupid saying that it was like being in a sauna in the summer. As a greeting from the kitchen there are warm pizza rolls with Italian butter. The portions are quite small, but the taste is ok. However, the background noise is immense.

The pizza is great and depending on which waiter you get, the service is also very nice and attentive. However, the fish and meat dishes didn't convince me... Too little and too much oil - maybe a matter of taste 🤷🏻‍♀️

We were here after a visit to the opera on Sunday evening. The staff is very attentive and friendly. We had seafood risotto and game pasta. Both were excellent and completely reasonable in price. A glass of wine cost €10. There is caffeine-free espresso.

Eine in lennep beliebte Trattoria mit gemütlichen Ambiente. Sehr freundliche Bedienung.

Vorneweg das Essen der Erwachsenen (2mal Pizza, 2mal Pasta) war sehr lecker und preislich völlig in Ordnung. Der Service war gut, wenn auch unterschwellig unfreundlich. Uns hat aber gar nicht geschmeckt, dass die Portion Nudel-Tomatensoße für unser 1jähriges Kind 8 Euro gekostet hat und die Pizzabrötchen, die wir nachbestellt hatten jeweils 5 Euro. Hier sollte die Pizzeria meiner Meinung nach an ihrer Preispolitik arbeiten. Frech finde ich auch, dass die beiden Punkte unter diversen Speisen boniert wurden und somit nichtmals in der Speisekarte abgebildet waren.

Ich bin sehr gerne bei Mateo und seiner Familie als Gast Die Speisen sind köstlich. Im Lokal sieht es nicht nur wegen der Dekoration gemütlich aus. Draußen unter Sonnenschutz zu speisen und danach den besten Espresso zu genießen mit dem Blick auf das Zentrum der Lenneper Altstadt, einfach herrlich!

Leider können wir dem Restaurant nicht viel Gutes abgewinnen. Sehr lange Wartezeiten auf das Essen. Lachs nicht durchgebraten, fast zur Hälfte nicht essbar, Rosmarinkartoffeln ohne Rosmarin. Kellner drauf angesprochen, hat ihn aber nicht großartig interessiert. Zum Bezahlen mussten wir mehrfach nachfragen. Wir kommen nicht mehr zum Essen her☹️

Essen und Getränke sehr lecker, gerade draußen kann man super sitzen. Der Service lässt allerdings zu wünschen übrig. So ein unfreundlicher Kellner, immer total genervt wenn man mit Karte oder getrennt zahlen will. Wirklich schade.
