The food and service were excellent. Again and again.

My son and I spontaneously stopped by Il Camino this evening, and even though we didn't have a reservation, the chef immediately found a lovely table for us. The service team was truly friendly and welcoming. The ambiance is very rustic and charming. The pizza was truly excellent, and the spaghetti Bolognese was absolutely delicious. If we ever find ourselves in Remscheid again, we'll definitely be back.

We reserved a table for a small group for a sporting event. It worked out perfectly. A super cozy atmosphere in a building over a hundred years old, very stylishly furnished. Plus, exceptionally great and personal service, delicious food, generous portions, and a whole lot of good cheer. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Remscheid!

We were there with a group of 10 people. We were given a private area in the fireplace room. The ambiance and service were excellent. Everyone at the table was full of praise for the food. The prices are reasonable. The restaurant is highly recommended, and if we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely stop by again!

Our favorite restaurant, Il Camino, is simply something special. This small, charming restaurant, located in an old Bergisch house in the Hasten district, exudes warmth and coziness. We always feel very comfortable here. The food is truly delicious and freshly prepared—every dish is a delight. Paulo, the owner, is a truly lovely person, and Neli, with her wonderful service, ensures that you feel completely at home. We always love coming here—for us, it's both a piece of home and a source of pleasure.

The food was truly fantastic. Antipasti for starters, pasta and pizza for main courses, and for dessert we had tiramisu and pistachio cream. The portions are good, and the dessert portions are quite large. The staff is very friendly. There's a front room, which I personally find a bit nicer for seating, and a large room at the back with around 12 tables of various sizes. We'd be happy to come back.

We visited Il Camino for the first time yesterday, and we really enjoyed it. The food is authentic Italian, and the entire restaurant is beautiful. We felt very comfortable.

Absolutely beautiful food, lovingly prepared. Fresh ingredients, deliciously prepared. A good selection of wines, as well. Various beers on tap. The restaurant is lovingly decorated down to the last detail. A very pleasant atmosphere.

There were five of us at the restaurant today. Everyone was very satisfied. The food was excellent, and the service was also very good. We had a lovely evening.

I ate there alone. The service was very quick and courteous. The bruschetta was perfect. The tagliatelle with green (still very hard) and white asparagus (perfect) was tasty and easy to eat. I personally didn't like the dessert (Biscoff cheesecake with rhubarb topping). All in all, a good place with a relaxed atmosphere.

I've been there several times and have always eaten pizza, which was always very good. I recently ordered lasagna for the first time, and I have to say that it tasted very sour and heavily seasoned, as if it had too much tomato paste and nutmeg. I can't say for sure whether it was the ingredients, as I'm no expert and wasn't there during the preparation. Of course, tastes differ. I really like the ambiance.

Went out for a spontaneous meal with a friend at Il Camino today. Even though it was busy, we were able to get a table quickly. The food was delicious as always - pizza with gorgonzola, pear and candied walnuts - and the prices were moderate. The service is always courteous and very approachable and friendly. Even though we were the last guests sitting and chatting until ten on a weekday, we were politely allowed to do as we please. All around harmonious ambience, delicious food and nice people, staff and guests.

We always enjoy eating there! :) We always eat something different and everything always tasted delicious! You never wait long for your food, no matter how busy the restaurant is. Everything is always fresh. You can tell that the employees enjoy working there and do their best, even when the store is full. They never lose their friendliness and are always attentive! The food was a complete disaster – the quality had completely declined, and even my favorite pizza wasn't what I expected. Nice restaurant and varied menu

After a long time we were there again. For a Monday, the restaurant was well attended and all tables were taken. However, this did not lead to a negative impression when using it. Very friendly and attentive. Our food was delicious and the wine was at the right temperature. We love the atmosphere because we feel very comfortable here.

Nice Restaurant, especially my boy on 11, was amazed by the Spaghetti Bolognese. The rest of us had Pizza. Diavolo, Capriciosa and Salami. The Salami is kids friendly.

Today we were at Il Camino again after a long time. My husband ordered spaghetti frutti di mare, which was swimming in a lot of liquid but was edible. I ordered pizza di mare, which was unreasonable. The pizza was topped with, among other things, raw, stringy tuna pieces about 1cm thick that were simply inedible. After our complaint, we were told that this pizza was topped with sushi tuna....however, the shrimp and salmon were cooked...so an unbelievable claim. I said I wouldn't eat this pizza and wouldn't pay for it. After that, there was no sign of the "service" or the kitchen anymore and no one asked if I would like to order something else. Well, if the restaurant is always full, individual fates are probably not taken into account. Soon without us

Not a "fast food"... The atmosphere is great, it's very cozy and we all loved the food. The only downer was the very long waiting time. We did some calculations and realized that because of the waiting time we had 8 more drinks than we normally would have drunk. We waited over an hour for some bread and then another hour to eat. But the food was really great and we would love to come back, but then less hungry ;-)

Was there about half a year ago. We were very satisfied with that. The food was better.!! Unfortunately the volume is too loud, even in small groups. This makes it difficult to have a conversation at the table. This makes it not recommended as a cozy restaurant.

We were happy to come here but unfortunately the FOOD today was more than subpar. There were no pieces of fish to be seen and the chef, who didn't even introduce himself, said it was just fish sauce and couldn't handle criticism at all. SHAME ☹️. He said that tastes were just different. The journey from Wuppertal wasn't worth it today. We drove home hungry.

I went to Il Camino for the first time today. We regularly go out to eat with our two small children (4 and 5), but we have never experienced anything like this: When asked about available children's meals, it was suggested that we could order a pizza for both children, which would be served on two plates. There were no dishes for children on the menu. There was a surprise on the bill: a surcharge of €3.90 was charged for simply splitting the pizza. I've never experienced anything like that and I'm not used to other - even higher priced - restaurants! After consulting with the manager, we were fobbed off with the words that the children also took up two seats (we were there at 6 p.m. during the week and it was empty) and that the surcharge was on the menu. Children are obviously not welcome here. We're definitely not coming back.

Ich war das letzte mal vor 10 Jahren dort und kann mich erinnern, dass das Essen gut war. Dieses mal war ich total enttäuscht. Es gab noch eine Zusatzkarte mit Tages Empfehlungen. Da sollte man davon ausgehen, dass diese Sachen frisch sind. Ich entschied mich für Lasagne mit Spinat. Die Lasagne sah schon nicht appetitlich aus. Die untere Schicht war total verbrannt und ließ sich gar nicht schneiden. Ich sagte das der Kellnerin und sie nahm das Essen mit, um in der Küche nachzufragen. Sie brachte es mir zurück und sagte, das wäre richtig so, denn die untere Schicht wäre Spinat. Ich mache auch selbst Lasagne und würde immer mit Bechamelsosse anfangen und Lasagne Platten. Die Freude am Essen war verflogen und der Abend verdorben. EUR 15,90 für Mist. Das brauche ich nicht noch mal.

Alles super, leckeres Essen und sehr nette Bedienung. Leichte Reservierung per WhatsApp war auch sehr entspannt. Wir kommen gerne wieder
