An Italian restaurant without pizza. ....but with very good, authentic cuisine. Really great food was offered and processed. Highly recommended from a culinary point of view.

Very good food, the selection on offer was also very good. The service was very friendly and organized a place for 7 people at short notice, even without a reservation. Highly recommended.

Friendly service and very tasty food!

As soon as you walk in, you immediately feel like you're in a well-equipped Italian restaurant. The service was quick and courteous. The three different dishes from the lunch menu left nothing to be desired and were very tasty. A bowl of bread with olive oil was also on the house beforehand, as was the digestive afterwards. Down to earth and good. Recommendation!

We chose this restaurant based on the reviews on Google. We were able to reserve online for the evening on the exact same day, which was easy via the website. We had to wait longer than usual to place the order. What's more, we had to wait 45 minutes for our order. The food itself was good and filled me up. Unfortunately, the restaurant wasn't big, so people sat very close to each other.

The interval between serving the starter and main course was 2 seconds. A little more time would have been better.

The soup was good, although I would add more distinctive cheese, the lasagne was ok, not much spiced, and the ravioli was definitely the best.

Leider kann ich hier nicht viel gutes berichten. Wir hatten Pasta Arrabiata ( die war in Ordnung, aber nicht herraussragend) und dann von der 'Tafel' ein Gericht mit Pfifferlingen, Huhn und Tagliatelle. Letzere Schwammein in einer Bullion von der auf der Karte keinerlei die Rede war und was mit Italienischem Essen nach unserer Auffassung nichts zu tun hat. Im Vergleich dazu das Foto hier bei Tripadvisor, so wie das Gericht wohl 2015 mal ausgesehen hat (und aussehen haette sollen) Als wir die Kellnerin drauf ansprachen bekamen wir ein sehr defensives 'Das machen wir immer so', 'das gehoert so' und 'bei 50 Kunden hat sich nie jemand beschwert'. Glaube ich einfach nicht, niemand erwartet bei einem italenischem Nudelgericht eine Nudel-Suppe aufgetischt zu bekommen. Dass man im Essenraum den Kloakengestank des Strassen-gulli's durch die offene Hintertuer gerochen hat, hat dem ganzen dann noch die Kroenung aufgesetzt. Und eigentlich gehoert der Parmesan auf den Tisch, nicht schon vorgestreut auf den Nudeln, aber das nur so am Rande. Sonst muss man allerdings sagen dass die Bedienung sehr freundlich und bemueht war. An den arrabiata hat man auch gemerkt dass die Kueche durchaus potential haette... es wird nur nicht genutzt.

I absolutely loved the Trattoria Pane e Vino! The location right in the town center is perfect and gives the restaurant a charming atmosphere. The service was incredibly attentive and friendly, I felt completely at home. The starters were not only delicious, but also more than sufficient. I was particularly impressed by the main course: pasta with black truffle, which was served straight from the cheese body - an absolute delight! Even though the sidewalk runs through the restaurant, it didn't really bother me. If you appreciate good food and excellent service, this is the place for you. I will definitely come back!

Very tasty food and nice service, who even called back to make the reservation - that was great service! The shop is nicely decorated and it's pleasant to sit outside behind laurel-like bushes that block the view of the street. The only small disadvantage: the train runs directly past quite often, which is something you should keep in mind. Overall, a highly recommended location.

The food is tasty but nothing special. Unfortunately the bread was a bit dry, as if it had been lying around for a long time. This also ran through the bruschetta. All in all, still tasty. The street in which the restaurant is located is quiet and there are cars and many trams every now and then. That's really great. Here you can pay by card. According to the description only with EC card. Debit credit cards are not mentioned. You should come by public transport. There are few parking spaces and the ones that are there are expensive.

The best (so far) pasta in Potsdam. Homemade, delicious. Super friendly with changes in a dish, I asked for vegetarian carbonara, 😋 with Broccoli instead of meat. super creamy.

The food is delicious, they know how to work well with local ingredients in an Italian style. If you are hungry, consider ordering a starter if you choose the pasta. The downside is that they only accept EC card or German debit card, it lacks a bit of modernity. The price is not that cheap so they don’t have a machine that accepts all cards. Google maps said the restaurant closed at 11:45pm, we arrived at 9:15pm and were pressured to order right away, without giving us much time to think. In addition, they didn't let us order dessert. We also missed having a menu in English. We need to return at a less busy time to see if the service is better.

We always enjoy coming here. Price-performance is great. But what we always notice is that you have to wait a long time to order drinks. You should ask more often if you would like something more to drink. This would also increase sales. Yesterday we sat with empty glasses for half an hour. Otherwise everything is fine!

Authentic Italian restaurant. We chose homemade ravioli filled with porcini mushrooms and pasta all rabiata. Both very tasty, in our opinion the pasta could be even more “al dente”. But the German guest probably doesn't like that. The service was friendly. Cleanliness, yes. Unfortunately we could only sit inside. But it was very warm there. Still recommendation.

Good food, but with a truly terrible service..., a waitress that is borderline, arrogant and out of place to work in front of the public and in a tourist place. We asked for a bottle of water and they gave us a glass of tap water for which they charged us €3 or so. To top it off, when we went to pay for lunch he told us that they do not accept Visa/Mastercard, only German cards, we asked him for an ATM to withdraw money and he bluntly told us to look it up on Google. Honestly, a bad experience not to be repeated!!

Reservations are recommended during peak times. What bothered me was that the anti-theft chain locks on the table and chairs were still left on during the evening. Unfortunately, the appetizer plate is inadequate for the price quoted, with a lot of salad there is a lot of savings on sausage and cheese - although the taste and quality is very good. When we ordered the starter, we were apparently forgotten in the kitchen and we only got the main course when we asked, which happened very quickly. On the whole we were very satisfied, but the little things make the picture not so nice as a guest.

Great restaurant with delicious food

Unfortunately only 3 stars. Spaghetti Aglio Olio sunk in already quite bitter olive oil. The garlic burnt. The taste hung throughout the entire meal. The service is slow and so is the kitchen. The fennel salad was too big and not a good combination. 15 minutes until the waitress came. By that time I would have had a cola in the heat. 17 minutes for the starters and then another 45 minutes for the main course. And that with only a few occupied tables on the terrace. There are 3 cooks in the kitchen. This is a poor performance. I didn't complain about the dish so I wouldn't have to wait another 45 minutes. Simply serving a 0.4L drink without asking the customer is audacious. Cola comes in 0.2 and 0.4. If in doubt, you should ask the customer. I measured the times because it was immediately clear to me that it would take longer here. No seat cushions on the terrace. However, all chairs in the restaurant have cushions for this. I wouldn't subject my guests to these hard wooden plank chairs without cushions. 10 minutes of extra work and the customer feels more comfortable.

A really good trattoria a bit away from the tourist hot spot. Honest good Italian food with no frills. Very good pasta variations.

Food absolute disaster! Overcooked, frozen vegetables and meat smelled. The service didn't make much of an effort. We were looking forward to the visit and left disappointed.

Food is super delicious! This restaurant could become my “go to restaurant”. The ambience inside is really nice, as you would imagine a trattoria. You sit outside on the street/sidewalk; There are more bikes, buses and trams on the road than cars. The service was a bit slow, but very, very nice and the lady was solely responsible for the entire restaurant.

Despite making a reservation during the week, our table was not free at the agreed time. We were left at the counter and it took a while to get a table. The tablecloth at the assigned table was full of leftover food, dirty and could have been replaced beforehand. The wine was okay but both main courses tasted like nothing or were drowned in a bland cream sauce...

Super delicious food and nice restaurant

Delicious food and the restaurant is nicely furnished (topical Italian) but the service could be a lot better: Quite unfriendly, unstructured and they brought the wrong food once. Maybe they just started working here… nevertheless I’ll give this place 4 stars. There is a parking lot at the back which is very practical!!!

Be careful if you visit spontaneously, only reserve your place by phone! We had reserved online an hour before and then our group was almost left in the rain. The friendly waitress got us seats, but you can save yourself the sweating by just calling. The food was great and sophisticated, with our large group we had a lot on the table. Everything is recommended! The desserts were also delicious and everything was freshly prepared. We'll definitely be back!

We had five dishes of pasta, and we couldn't decide which one is the best because they were all simply outstanding. Service was also excellent - we simply had a great evening. One downside however I have to mention is that they wouldn't accept credit cards, which for international guests is like 20 years behind common practice. I had to walk to an ATM and draw cash at a service fee of 20 Eur. So this makes this place basically unsuitable for international guests...

Ich war 3 Mal hier zum Abendessen und habe jeden Besuch genossen. Am 1. Abend Bruschette mit Thunfisch und Lasagne von der Tageskarte. Bruschette grandios, Lasagne sehr gur Bei. 2. Mal Bruschette mit Tomaten und Spaghetti Carbonara. Bruschette sehr gut, Carbonara wie ich Sie mag. Ja, mit Sahne. Darauf Parmessan und Zitronenschale. Perfekt. Beim 3. Malhemischte Bruschette und schwarze Linguini. Wirklich top. Bedienung immer freundlich und schnell. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

On our short vacation we went to Pane Vino. We were warmly welcomed and given a Tusch. Unfortunately, it wasn't very comfortable to sit on the worn bench (cracks in the leather). All in all, you could get more out of the restaurant. But if this isn't crucial for good food, let's leave it aside. Bruscetta with Parma ham was super tasty. My salad with Parma ham was plentiful as was my husband's pasta. We were completely satisfied with the food. The same goes for the service: friendly and attentive. (Here's just a well-intentioned tip: the wine glasses have a long stem, so if you don't use trays, you can carry them on that. You don't carry it by the glass to the glass... the same way you handle beer, etc. at the bottom 😉 I explain to our boys employees anyway 😬) We would come again and again!

The restaurant was full and yet the service and kitchen staff managed to bring everything at the same time (there were 7 of us). We didn't have to wait long for the drinks and food we ordered. The ambience was like a trattoria and appealing. The food was excellent across the board. It was my first time there and definitely not the last time!

We have been to Pane e Vino several times recently and each time we were very satisfied with different dishes. In our opinion, the food is prepared with a lot of skill and love. Even classic dishes are never 0-8-15. A very important aspect why we always enjoy being guests there is the very friendly and professional service. Natalia in particular shows a lot of overview and competence and captivates you with her natural, casual friendliness.

Das Essen hat unseren Erwartungen nicht entsprochen. Die Pasta war recht geschmacklos und auch die Vorspeisen waren nichts Besonderes. Insgesamt kein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Nettes Restaurant mit langer Speisekarte, die für jeden etwas enthält. Viele vegetarische Gerichte und keine Pizza :-) Hier lässt es sich gemütlich, wenn auch etwas kuschelig, sitzen, Reservierung empfohlen.

Ein Stammgast hatte eine Reservierung für ein Geschäftsessen vorgenommen. Trotzdem wurden wir in der hintersten Ecke platziert. Das Essen und der Wein waren wunderbar.

Frisches und schmackhaftes Essen, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Das Restaurant war bei unserem Besuch bis auf den letzten Platz belegt (Reservierung unbedingt empfehlenswert), trotzdem war der Service perfekt. Durch die Weihnachtszeit waren größere Gruppen dort und es war entsprechend laut, für einen romantischen Abend dann eher nicht geeignet, bietet dafür Urlaubsfeeling :-) Zum Abschluss gab es noch ein Getränk vom Haus, sogar stilecht mit Eis und Zitrone serviert. Wir kommen bei unserem nächsten Potsdam-Besuch auf jeden Fall wieder; dies war das 2. Mal.

Wir waren eine Größe Truppe. Müssen auf den Tisch warten, passiert. Darüber kann Man hinweg sehen. Essen, 3 Gänge. Nix auzusetzen. Kann man mache . Das Ambiente, ja ist okay. Aber das es nur kleine Teller bei der Hauptspeise gab, war nicht so nice.

Beste Pasta meines Lebens mit großem Abstand, der Rest auch genial! Portionen sind für die Preise mehr als angemessen. Am besten zur Mittagszeit gehen. Eindrücke und Fotos aus dem September. Ich denke noch gerne an die zwei verschiedenen Besuche dort.

Ein sehr schöner und kleiner Italiener, ich bin sehr angetan und wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend.

Der Service hat noch viel Luft nach oben, beim Servieren gegen Glas gekommen, welches kaputt gegangen ist und ich nass wurde. Es gab keine Entschädigung, wie zb. ein Kaffee aufs Haus. Es gab keinen Absacker zum Abschied und keine Flexibilität was das Umsetzen an einem anderen Tisch angeht.

Ein guter Italiener, der keine Pizza auf der Karte hat. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf leckere Pastagerichte. Ich bin immer wieder gerne hier, da der Service und die Atmosphäre so wundervoll sind.

Hausgemachte Pasta in leckeren Varianten. Hat ganz wunderbar geschmeckt. Dazu sehr freundlicher, zuvorkommender Service. Komme jederzeit gerne wieder!

Wir waren im Oktober ein paar Tage in Potsdam und jeden Abend im Pane e Vino essen. Wir hatten verschiedene Pasta Gerichte, die alle sehr gut waren (unser Favorit waren die Linguine aus dem Parmesanlaib mit Trüffelen). Auch die gemischte Vorspeisenplatte war sehr gut. Als Nachtisch hatten wir Tiramusu, die sehr lecker war. Auch der Wein war sehr gut. Die Bedienung war aufmerksam und freundlich, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Restaurant ist immer gut besucht, deshalb unbedingt vorher reservieren.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend mit der ganzen Familie. Leckeres Essen und sehr netter aufmerksamer Service. Wenn wir wieder in Potsdam sind, kommen wir garantiert wieder.
