Tolles Essen und sehr netter Service

Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, super Service und leckeres Essen. :) Preis-Leistung finde ich Top, die Portionen sind gut. Wir sind satt, glücklich und werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Sehr zu empfehlen! :)

Wir haben nur etwas getrunken, weshalb ich das Essen nicht bewerten kann, aber das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend, äußerst freundlich und nicht aufdringlich. Wir saßen bequem und hätten die bereitgelegten Wolldecken nutzen können. Leider machten die Mücken unserem Abend ein schnelles Ende.

Das Essen ist köstlich und die Atmosphäre ist so gemütlich.

Essen war ok, es wurde allerdings kein Olivenöl oder Balsamicoessig zum Brot angeboten. Es gab auch keinen Schnaps aufs Haus, so wie bei anderen Gästen und die Rosen die hier verteilt wurden, heute ist Muttertag, gab es auch nicht für uns 🤷‍♀️ , ich war mit meiner Tochter dort. Komme ich wieder, sehr wahrscheinlich nicht, dafür gibt es Italiener, die besser sind. Preise in der Speisekarte und auf dem Flyer unterscheiden sich auch.

Ich hatte ein enttäuschendes Erlebnis in diesem Restaurant. Der Service war ziemlich schlecht – der Kellner teilte uns in einem recht unhöflichen Ton mit, dass nur Barzahlung möglich sei, und das auch erst, nachdem wir bereits gegessen hatten. Das sollte im Voraus klar kommuniziert werden. Das Essen war durchschnittlich, nichts Besonderes. Positiv anzumerken ist, dass das Restaurant selbst schön ist und eine angenehme Atmosphäre hat, aber das allein kann den mangelhaften Service leider nicht wettmachen.

Sehr vorzügliches Essen, von Lasagne über Pizza, zu Spaghetti Carabonara. Schönes Ambiente und sehr nettes Personal, dass auf jede Kleinigkeit achtet und sich sehr um die Gäste kümmert. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Der Laden ist relativ klein und unscheinbar. Wir haben unter der Woche gegen 18 Uhr spontan einen Tisch für Zwei bekommen. Das Essen ist wirklich hervorragend und die Portionen relativ groß. Die Preise sind absolut fair. Lange nicht mehr so gut italienisch gegessen. Einen Stern ziehe ich ab, da keine Kartenzahlung möglich ist. Das kann heutzutage nicht sein…

Die Rotebeete Gnocchi sind mega lecker, das Tiramisu ist super und der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und nett. Ein Stern weniger, da man nur bar zahlen kann.

Ich war mit meiner Familie unterwegs. Anfangs waren wir etwas skeptisch, da das Restaurant an der Potsdamer Hauptstraße liegt und wir es für eine typische Touristenfalle hielten. Das Essen war jedoch fantastisch; die Pizza war wunderbar und die Pasta sogar noch besser. Und die Preise waren vergleichbar mit anderen Restaurants in der Gegend. Ich kann es absolut empfehlen!

Wenn Sie in Potsdam italienisch essen möchten, sind Sie hier genau richtig. Genießen Sie hier ein leckeres Essen mit Ihrer Familie. Wir entschieden uns für Pizza und Pasta. Wir wählten die Pizza Napoli und Margherita, die beide köstlich waren. Bei den Pastagerichten haben uns Tagliatette und Spaghetti besonders gut geschmeckt. Vor dem Servieren werden Ihnen kostenlos Olivenöl und Brot angeboten. Der Service war schnell und die Preise angemessen.

Reisender, bist du in Potsdam und verspürst Hunger, besuche unbedingt "Trattoria Amalfi" in der Brandenburgerstr. du wirst nicht enttäuscht. Wir waren heute zum ersten mal hier, auf gut Glück und ohne Reservierung. Und wir hatten Glück. Kein "Hilfe ein Kunde!" sondern ein herzliches willkommen als wäre man Stammgast, ein Freund der lange nicht da war, herzlicher Empfang der auch nicht aufgesetzt wirkt. Das Essen super, der Service aufmerksam und freundlich, löblich! Einziges Manko: Keine Kartenzahlung möglich, darum keine5 Sterne. Wir kommen gerne wieder, wenn es uns mal wieder nach Potsdam verschlägt.

Wir waren zum Tagesausflug in Potsdam. Auf der Suche nach einem Italiener haben wir dieses Restaurant entdeckt. Die Bedienung fanden wir extrem unfreundlich. Schon beim Bestellen hatte man das Gefühl, dass jede Nachfrage zum Gericht entweder belächelt wurde oder einfach zu viel für den Kellner war. Das Essen selbst war absoluter Durchschnitt, zu völlig überteuerten Preisen. Unserer Meinung nach ist das Restaurant keinen Besuch wert.

Eines der besten Italiener denn ich seit langem besucht habe. Sehr leckeres Essen und mega aufmerksames Personal. Ich würde am liebsten 100 Sterne geben.

Die Rote-Beete-Gnocchi von der Tageskarte fand ich sehr lecker. Der Service war super (Mantel abgenommen etc.). Die Hintergrundmusik war angenehm leise. Jederzeit wieder. 👍

Echte Trattoria mit guter Speisekarte. Sehr gute Bedienung. Wir konnten unsere Italiaenisch- Kenntnisse ausprobieren, hat Spass gemacht.

Netter, zuvorkommender Service, sehr freundlich. Hatte Carbonara italienisch bestellt, ausdrücklich ohne Sahne. Wurde auch so angeboten. Leider kam diese dann doch in Sahne, der klasse Kellner nahm aber sofort Wind aus den Segeln und entschuldigte sich. Kein Problem, Wasser und einen Limoncello gab's auf's Haus. Top!

Das Essen war sehr gut, der Kellner sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, nur das Ambiente hat mir persönlich nicht so gut gefallen, alles ein wenig zu eng! Trotzdem ein niedlicher Laden

Der Service war super und das Essen kam schnell, aber die Pizza war wirklich schlecht. Der Boden war total trocken, der Schinken schmeckte wie Fertigprodukt und die Champignons waren verkocht. Einfach nur ungenießbar.

Ich reise von Mexiko aus durch Europa und von allen Orten, die ich besucht habe, war dies derjenige mit dem leckersten Essen, der fabelhaften Pizza und der köstlichsten Minestrone-Suppe, die ich je gegessen habe.

Wir waren von der anheimelnden Atmosphäre angezogen und davon, dass die Trattoria sehr gut besucht war. Wir fanden den Eindruck bestätigt. Die Vorspeisen waren sehr lecker, die Pizza auch und der Service extrem freundlich und professionell. Würden wir in Potsdam wohnen, wäre dies unser Stammlokal. Absolute Empfehlung und danke für das tolle Essen!

Absolut eine Empfehlung! Das Brot was gereicht wird mit Öl und Balsamico ist frisch und lecker. Wir hatten die Lasagne, die Penne Gorgonzola e Spenaci und Spagetti Puttanesca. Alle 3 Speisen hervorragend. Kleiner süßer Italiener...man sollte einen Tisch bestellen 😉

A small, unassuming Italian restaurant in the heart of Potsdam. A bit cramped inside, but definitely recommended. Very friendly staff, and excellent value for money. Communicate any special requests beforehand, and they will be accommodated. And you'll get authentic carbonara, not with cream! 😀 We'll gladly return, thank you.

After the theater, we were looking for a restaurant that wasn't yet closed for cake. That's how we came across Amalfi. A nice little restaurant in the heart of Potsdam. A friendly welcome and great service throughout the evening. A superb selection of dishes. They even had some new things on the menu. We were very satisfied with the taste.

Since we were coming from out of town, we had booked online in advance, which worked perfectly. We received a friendly welcome at the restaurant, the food was good, and the service was very friendly. The acoustics could be improved a bit.

We went there for dinner. We had antipasti as a starter, but the portion was too small for the price! The taste was okay, although the variety was limited. I think the pizza was too salty. It definitely tasted strange. The pasta was very good. The ambiance was nothing special. Very average. The service was friendly but not particularly attentive.

I happened to be passing by and got a lovely table. The food, atmosphere, drinks, and staff were simply fantastic. Thank you to the team for the wonderful meal and the lovely evening.

Very well located in the pedestrian zone. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Great food – but sometimes too few servers, long wait times, and no card payments! Instead, you're directed to nearby ATMs that didn't work. Thanks for the 15 minutes we spent looking for one. If card payments aren't accepted by 2025, they could write that on the outside!

A lovely, cozy trattoria. We received very friendly service. A small appetizer was placed on the table. The house red wine and all our dishes were delicious.

Bad pizza, high prices. Doesn't take credit cards. The bill was 54€. We had 53.3€ and asked if that was ok. No, it wasn't, so we had to go to the bank and withdraw more money. Definitely not recommended.

Unfortunatelly, that wasn't a right choise. Like will repeat what is already commented. Firstly they bring an overoveroooover salted tomato soup. After we asked to change it, the "mood" of the waitresses also changed to ignoring. Pizza was average. Nothing special. After ten minutes of trying to ask for a bill they came and said that they accept only cash. We asked the reason of it and the reply was brilliant..."because its tourist zone". The final price was a little bit surprised for us. We wasn't ready to pay 6 euros for a small bottle of still water. To be honest I don't remember that the price for it was in a menu so if its they choise of doing busines and if it makes them happy then - let it be. I wasn't happy after wisiting this place.

Three of us went there for pizza. The food was generally okay, but the toppings on the pizza were very unevenly distributed – many spots were just cheese. The service was unfortunately disappointing. Right from the start, a friend had to change seats so the waiter could get between the tables, even though there were several other options. Unlike the other guests, we didn't get any bread to start with. The waiter seemed very pushy overall: constant comments and conversations while we were eating, even though we made it clear that we wanted some peace and quiet. He also loudly addressed passersby on the street, almost urging them to take a table – that was also unpleasant to witness. He also repeatedly pushed his way between the chairs, even though I directly pointed out that this was disruptive. Meanwhile, the oil and vinegar were simply taken away from our table because there apparently wasn't enough for everyone. Overall, the experience was rather unpleasant, even though the pizza was delicious.

🚨 Since the original review was deleted, here it is again: Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our visit to this Italian restaurant. Right from the start, we had the impression that our request not to order drinks was met with little understanding by the staff. Instead, we were noticeably pressured to order a drink – a behavior that continued throughout our stay with unfriendly and noticeably discriminatory treatment. While ALL other guests at the table were served bread and dip, we were simply denied this. The pizza also showed a difference: I ordered a Margherita pizza, as did a guest at the next table – but his was much more attractively presented, garnished with fresh basil, while mine was served without much care. A particularly unpleasant moment was when I was initially suggested – apparently jokingly – that I had ordered an expensive scampi pizza. This was then dismissed with a dismissive smile before the Margherita pizza I had actually ordered was brought to me. This behavior we found inappropriate and disrespectful. Aside from the overall disappointing service, the food was also disappointing: the pizza crust was dry and by no means airy or fluffy. Overall, we had the impression that guests who don't have large bills aren't welcome here. For people who consume consciously and thoughtfully, this restaurant doesn't seem to be the right place. In any case, we won't be coming back.

Terrible experience. I'm not giving it negative stars because Google won't let me. A half-liter bottle of water costs 6 euros. Unpleasant and rude waiter. Mediocre food reheated in the microwave. Cash only, and no signage. Better to eat the dirt at the entrance.
