Nie wieder gehen wir woanders Spargelsuppe essen. Insane. Wir haben die beste Suppe unseres Lebens hier gegessen und können behaupten, schon ein bisschen rum gekommen zu sein. Hier steckt die Liebe im Detail. Das Gesamtkonzept ist absolut durchdacht. Hier hat man nicht nur eine Gaumenfreude, hier kommen auch Ästheten auf Ihre Kosten. Von der Lage direkt am Nauener Tor ganz zu schweigen.

Absolut empfehlenswert. Sehr schönes Ambiente, exzellentes Essen und ein professioneller Service. Die Gerichte waren geschmacklich hervorragend abgestimmt und die Portionsgröße genau richtig. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist für die gebotene Qualität mehr als fair. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch.

Das Essen war in Ordnung (es hat mir persönlich nicht besonders gut gefallen, aber Geschmäcker sind ja verschieden…). Was jedoch wirklich schlecht war: Es ist schon das zweite Mal, dass wir dort waren, und zum zweiten Mal mussten wir etwa 50 Minuten auf das Essen warten – und zwar nur auf mein Gericht. Meine Familie war fast schon fertig mit dem Essen, als ich meins endlich bekommen habe… sehr enttäuschend. Für den Preis hätte ich ehrlich gesagt etwas mehr erwartet.

Junge, begeisterte Köche mit echter Leidenschaft für ihr Handwerk. Jedes Gericht, das wir bestellt haben, war hervorragend – geschmacklich überzeugend, wunderschön angerichtet und perfekt auf den Punkt gegart. Auch der Service war außerordentlich aufmerksam und freundlich. Dazu kommt ein sehr schönes Ambiente, in dem man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungenes kulinarisches Erlebnis.

Wir waren im Rahmen einer Unternehmensveranstaltung im „Pauline“ zu Gast. Von Beginn an spürt man die Freude des Teams, Gastgeber zu sein. Ein toller Mittag in Potsdam. Austern waren gut. Tatar und Kalbsbries waren toll und die Muscheln rundeten den Besuch ab. Die Mädels im Service einfach nur Klasse, trotz großem Andrang immer natürlich freundlich und aufmerksam.

Eines der mir besten Restaurants, wo ich esse! Wir sind sehr gerne dort, ob nur auf einen aperol oder einer richtigen Mahlzeit. Alles ein Gedicht. Es ist unglaublich toll zu sehen, mit welcher Passion gekocht wird und wie hochwertig die Zutaten sind. Der Service stimmt auch, ganz großartig! Schön, dass es euch in Potsdam gibt und dass wir Gäste sein dürfen. 🙏

Ausgezeichnete Atmosphäre, toller Service und köstliches Essen.

Meine Familie und ich waren am Karsamstag in diesem Restaurant essen. Das Ambiente wirkt sehr einladend und gemütlich, es gibt eine offene Küche und die Laustärke im Lokal ist sehr angenehm. Die angebotenen Speisen klingen alle unfassbar lecker, sodass man Schwierigkeiten hat, trotzdem die Karte recht klein ist, sich für ein Gericht zu entscheiden. Als Vorspeise gab es bei mir das Rindertartar - mein bisher bestes Rindertartar, was ich je gegessen habe. Als Hauptgang habe ich mich für das Rinderfilet entschieden, wo ich ebenfalls nicht enttäuscht wurde. Super gut gewürzt, saftig und auch der Salat war einwandfrei (und das obwohl ich sonst den Salat nicht anrühre :D). Zur Nachspeise gab es dann den süßen Flammkuchen. Der war mir persönlich zwar ein wenig doll kross, aber das ist auch nur mein persönliches Empfinden. Vom Geschmack war er 1a :) Das Servicepersonal war sehr zuvorkommend und hat sogar Empfehlungen für Weine gegeben, die zu den Gerichten passen. Auch das findet man nicht mehr oft. >TOP!< Wir empfehlen dieses Restaurant definitiv weiter und werden zeitnah wiederkommen. Macht so weiter bitte

Steak und Pommes sind extrem lecker, die Portionen sind groß und liebevoll angerichtet und das Dessert ist einfach nur klasse. Zusätzlich extrem netter Service und ein cooles Ambiente. Für uns eines der besten Steak-Restaurants überhaupt!

Wir wollten heute in der Pauline essen, draußen war es sehr voll. Ein Tisch für zwei wäre noch frei gewesen. Zuerst fragten wir den Kellner, ob es noch einen Platz für uns gäbe, da reagierte der Kellner schon sehr abweisend und meinte wir sollten schauen gehen. Dann haben wir gesehen, das an dem freien Tisch keine Stühle waren. Erneut gingen wir zum Kellner und fragten nach Stühlen...er sagte sehr abweisend: Wenn keine Stühle da sind, dann sind keine Stühle da. Somit haben wir dann das Restaurant verlassen. Schade! Anscheind ist man hier nicht auf Gäste angewiesen.

Gutes Essen, fairer Preis, einzigartige Lage... Einziger Nachteil: Küche und Gästezimmer sind ein einziger Raum. Die Kleidung roch daher am nächsten Tag stark nach Essen.

Eine tolles Restaurant mit frischen Gerichten und wo noch mit Liebe gekocht wird! Auch für Hunde gibt es eine kleine Hundespeisekarte mit Leberwursteis oder Tatar! Wir kommen gerne in die Pauline, dank Hans dem kreativen Inhaber! Weiter so!

Ehrlich gesagt: Der Flammkuchen ist das einzige bezahlbare Mittagsgericht. Es gibt keine Mittagskarte mehr. Die anderen Gerichte sind für einen kleinen Snack am Mittag viel zu teuer. Man sitzt eng aufeinander. Pauline spielt inzwischen in einer anderen Liga. Schade.

Unsere guten Erfahrungen im Pauline wollten wir am 2. Weihnachtsfeiertag mit unseren internationalen Gästen teilen. Das ist leider nicht gelungen. Offensichtlich war nicht nur die Heizung ausgefallen, sondern auch die Lüftung in der Küche. Es war sehr kalt, es zog ganz fürchterlich, in den Augen brannte der Küchendunst und setzte sich auch in der Garderobe fest. Das Essen war wie immer gut, aber auf den Hauptgang warteten wir frierend zwei Stunden. Ob der Gästezahl hat sich uns nicht erschlossen, woran es gelegen hat. Wir kommen erst im Frühling wieder.

-insgesamt ok, aber der wesentliche Indikator der Qualität ist leider der Preis......(und nicht umgedreht) -Location ist ok -Fleisch war ok, aber nichts Besonders, dafür waren die Pommes versalzen und sehr trocken -die Vorspeise und die Nachspeise waren ok aber auch nichts Besonderes -rechtfertigt den Preis nicht -zudem sind die Portionen sehr überschaubar aber eben von der Qualität durchschnittlich -wenn teuer und kleine Portionen, dann bitte wirklich edel und das ist es leider nicht -insgesamt ok, aber nicht für den Preis

Das Restaurant Pauline ist in der Friedrich - Ebert - Str. 31, in 14467 Potsdam gelegen. Es handelt sich hierbei um ein nobles Lokal. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr gut und das Ambiente ist auch sehr schön. Unlängst habe ich dort diverse Biere getrunken und ein Filet Rossini verzehrt. Beides war sehr delicious. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit, sozial kompetent und sehr wertvoll. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und der Service gut. Der Flammkuchen war wirklich lecker, wenn auch etwas teuer. Wir haben ohne Reservierung einen Platz zum Mittagessen gefunden, da sonntags mittags nicht viel los war. Das Restaurant ist wirklich gemütlich, aber ein großer Nachteil ist der starke Rauchgeruch, den man danach ziemlich unangenehm wahrnimmt. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob die Belüftung defekt war oder woran es sonst lag.

Paulines ist mit Abstand das beste Restaurant in Potsdam. Ich hatte das Steak mit Foie gras, gehobeltem Trüffel und Paulines Sauce. Sowohl das Steak als auch die Foie gras waren perfekt zubereitet. Der Salat war frisch, knackig und perfekt angemacht, und die Chips waren ebenfalls perfekt gebacken. Ich glaube, es war das beste französische Essen, das ich je gegessen habe. Vielen Dank!

Ich hatte schon lange davon geträumt, bei meinem ersten Berlin-Besuch Schweinshaxe zu essen, da ich sie noch nie zuvor probiert hatte. Und wow, in diesem Restaurant war sie einfach unglaublich lecker! Die Portion war riesig. Ich kann das Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen. Die Atmosphäre war super, das Essen und der Service fantastisch. Alles, was wir bestellt haben, war köstlich, und die Bedienung war einfach klasse, vor allem, weil wir eine anspruchsvolle und laute Gruppe von elf Personen waren. Vielen Dank! 🤩

nettes Restaurant mit Aufmerksamer Bedienung

Ich habe bei Pauline bereits zwei Mal Moules Frites gegessen und war begeistert von der Qualität der Zubereitung und dem Geschmack. Der Service ist ebenfalls sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Sind spontan hier gelandet, weil uns die Speisekarte ansprach. Wir hatten Escargots, Muscheln und geschmorten Rinderbug. Das Essen war super und der Service herzlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Gestern waren wir dort Essen. Wir hatten extra vorher angerufen und gefragt, ob das Restaurant barrierefrei ist. Es hieß,der Tisch wird für den Rollstuhl vorbereitet. Wir kamen pünktlich an und stellten fest, daß es zum Restaurant Treppen gab. Ok, uns wurde reingeholfen ...aber die Toilette ist im 1 OG....keine Entschuldigung Kaum gesessen, stellte ich fest, daß meine Gabel dreckig war...wieder keine Entschuldigung...Wir waren die ersten Gäste und kurz nach uns kamen noch zwei. Das Essen kam, und ausser dem Kartoffelbrei war das Essen lauwarm...der Laden war nicht besonders gefüllt, mit uns, gerademal 5 Tische besetzt. Wir müssen dazu sagen, es hat wirklich super geschmeckt. Trotzdem, bei einer Rechnung von 166€, da erwarteten wir wirklich mehr. Vor allem, keine Entschuldigung für irgendwas. Von daher, für Rollstuhlfahrer nicht empfehlenswert!!!

A lovely little restaurant. The service was very good. Since we had a small table, they offered to refill our wine. The staff were very attentive. A beautiful restaurant with a wonderful ambiance inside the Nauener Tor! Dinner was a complete delight, with dishes that had a very special flair. Familiar dishes – reinterpreted – is the motto here. The prices are a bit higher, but you get real quality. If you're looking for dinner in a stylish, modern setting, this is the place to be. The view into the open kitchen also invites you to linger!

The tastiest burger in a long time

Very cozy atmosphere. Best knuckle of pork I've ever eaten. Extremely tender, crispy skin, and a truly delicious experience. The burger is also highly recommended. Everything tastes very well. Very good service. We recommend it and will be back!

The food was overall fairly good, can’t say too much to fault it, but the service was definitely below what you’d expect for this price range. Half of our orders were delayed because of an accident in the kitchen, which can happen, fair enough. When the orders came, one was wrong, which again can happen. I was offered the dish for free, which seemed appropriate and I kindly accepted. When it was time for the bill though it got strange. A waiter who was too busy sending messages on his phone to notice us for a while came over and introduced himself as the interim boss whilst the owner was out of town. He said the other waiter was unprofessional and should not have offered the meal for free. Furthermore, he started insinuating we were doing something wrong: „are you really refusing to pay this meal that you eat up?“ In the end we reluctantly paid for the meal and got two glasses of wine for free. We‘d never have minded to just pay for the meal in the first place, but this whole encounter was uncomfortable and very far away from the level of service you’d expect from the price tag. We won’t be coming back.

A cute little restaurant with limited indoor seating and an open kitchen. The service is young and friendly. The young chef, who is also the owner, clearly enjoys his work. The dishes are creative. Fresh, colorful, and experimental. The duck liver didn't require chewing, the steak was cooked to perfection, and every bite of the salad tasted different. It was a pleasure to eat! We stayed until closing time, and I've never seen anyone clean their kitchen/workspace like that. It's simply fun to be in the restaurant business! Thank you!

We were at Restaurant Pauline in Potsdam yesterday – and what can I say? A real hit all around. The location is top-notch: right next to one of the historic gates, just a few steps from the market square and the old town – adjacent to the beautiful Dutch Quarter, with its unique architectural style and very special flair. The surroundings alone are worth a visit. The ambiance in the restaurant is stylish and cozy, with a warm, inviting atmosphere – perfect for a relaxed evening with good food. The culinary offerings were absolutely convincing: • The burrata was wonderfully creamy, perfectly balanced. • The beef fillet – buttery tender, cooked to perfection, presented with lots of love. • And to finish, there was a classic crème brûlée, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside – just as it should be. The cuisine is rather upscale, but the price-performance ratio was surprisingly fair – truly top-notch considering the quality, service, and overall experience! Conclusion: The Pauline is a culinary gem in Potsdam, located in the heart of one of the city's most beautiful districts. We'll definitely be back – a true highlight of our stay!

We visited Pauline for the first time and were absolutely thrilled. The vegan steak is amazing; I've never eaten anything so tender and flavorful. You can tell the cooking here is done with skill and love. The other dishes were also excellent, and the cozy atmosphere makes it easy to linger :) The service is attentive but not intrusive. For me, it's one of the best restaurants in Potsdam and definitely a place I'll recommend to friends <3

I was here for the first time recently and was absolutely thrilled. From the moment you walk in, you feel completely at home. The decor is super cozy, with great attention to detail, yet not overly pretentious. The service was super friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. You can just tell the people there love their jobs. The food was truly delicious. Everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented.

We only stopped here for a quick beer. We'll be back for dinner sometime. Everything looks very appealing and the staff is very friendly. We finally had dinner at Pauline today. We had roasted duck liver, French onion soup, sturgeon caviar, a fantastic selection of cheeses, and crème brûlée. The food was first-class, and I'm happy to have found such a great French bistro in Potsdam. We'll definitely be back.

My new review after the change of tenant: The tarte flambée is delicious as usual. My only criticism: the bacon was too salty and a bit too much sour cream. Otherwise, the service was pleasant. The menu definitely needs to be expanded. But the waitress told us they're constantly working on it.

The restaurant is highly recommended. The food and service are top-notch. In addition to the more expensive dishes, they also offer affordable alternatives.

Unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant experience. This was our first visit to this restaurant. We ordered two drinks outside: an Aperol Spritz and a Lavender Spritz. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy, but it still took an unreasonably long time for the Aperol Spritz and a Limoncello Spritz to be brought to us. We pointed out that we hadn't ordered the latter, and after a long wait, we were given a lavender lemon lemonade. I asked a waitress what it was, and she replied that it was a lavender spritz (it wasn't, there was no alcohol or lemon in the drink), and she had also looked it up in the system. We didn't want to send it back, so we drank it. When paying, we asked another waitress what we had received. She told us: an Aperol Spritz and a lavender lemon lemon lemonade. No consideration, little understanding. On top of that, it was overpriced. We won't be back and we can't recommend it there either.

What a fantastic meal that was, so many individual components and beautifully presented. We had the tartare and the duck liver as starters. Highly recommended. It would be nice if a few more individual components were listed on the menu so that people know what to expect and can decide whether they like the main ingredients. I still don't know what those giant dots on the duck liver were. Unfortunately, we lost one point because on this Sunday there was only one young girl serving, which, despite her best efforts, was simply not enough. We even waited a really long time for drinks. It's a shame because the food itself is really great, but very, very long waits do spoil the experience somewhat.

The best example of high quality cuisine at a reasonable price. The spaghetti with butter and truffle is the best I have tasted this year. I can also recommend the mussels. We visited this restaurant twice and once the waiter was in a bad mood and his service was not as great as the food. So the next day another waiter came and our experience during the visit was much better. Thank you to the chef and the all service and kitchen staff. See you next time.

We went there last night for a drink. The atmosphere outside, overlooking the Nauen Gate, is beautiful on a summer evening. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. The table was sticky and dirty. We had to wait a long time to order. We also waited a long time for our drinks. There was no napkin, and our table didn't have a lamp. There's still a lot of room for improvement, especially since the restaurant is more upscale.

Exorbitant prices and abysmal service. Even though the outdoor seating is very limited and had already thinned out considerably, the two female servers were unable to bring at least the two ordered bottles of water to our tables within 30 minutes. So we—seven people—were forced to leave after 30 minutes in 28°C in the shade. There's no other way to explain the behavior of the two servers, who frequently stared at us from behind the high tables with their arms crossed. Given the prices charged here, one would expect at least basic attention, and at best professionalism. But with such a failure, we'll never return.

- Excellent food, very good quality (except for the fries) - Service was terrible, friendly but incredibly slow. Drinks took forever, and we had to ask for the bill several times, and we waited a total of 30 minutes. - Outdoor furniture didn't really match the prices on the menu.

A truly wonderful restaurant, and the food is incredibly delicious. The non-alcoholic aperitif (lavender lemonade) is highly recommended. The mussels, tarte flambée, snails, and even the burger are all very good. All in all, including the service, it was an exceptional meal! A definite recommendation!

Twice as pure enjoyment – ​​Pauline in Potsdam is our culinary highlight! We were so impressed that we ate here two days in a row – and that really says it all: It was so good that we couldn't help but come back straight away. The attentive, unobtrusively friendly service and, of course, the food – every detail is just perfect. We were particularly impressed by the tarte flambée, which was wonderfully crispy and delicately topped, as well as the truffle pasta. You can feel that the food here is cooked with great love and true passion. Pauline is definitely a place we'd love to return to – highly recommended for anyone who wants good food.

Well, it was absolutely fantastic again! We were here as part of a larger group, and every meal tasted absolutely amazing! The absolutely delicious fries with the burgers are particularly special! We had dinner with 4 people on Saturday and knew the restaurant from before. Unfortunately, not much of the wonderful northern French flair remains. Prices have increased significantly without adequate compensation. The best example is a can of oil sardines that the guest can open themselves for over €18.00. Unfortunately, not all requests were included when ordering and after we asked whether the food should be served at the same time, we received the food promptly in several stages. The highlight of the whole thing, however, was the impossible room climate, which almost caused shortness of breath. We also had to have all of the clothing we wore that day washed or cleaned. Unfortunately, we will not be visiting this restaurant again in the foreseeable future as we were embarrassed that our guests had this experience. Finally, a note: Maybe they'll put their once really tasty bouillabaisse back on the menu and stick more to tradition with the ragout. Unfortunately, we can no longer recommend your restaurant and the 3 stars awarded are very benevolent.

It is highly recommended to make a reservation as the restaurant only has a few seats. In summer you can of course also sit outside wonderfully. The map is quite extensive, so everyone will find what they are looking for. The service was very friendly and attentive and you were served quickly. The food was very nicely prepared and we really enjoyed everything. The dessert was absolutely recommended! Priced a little higher.

We were recently guests in a small group. I know the restaurant from before, but I haven't been there for a while. I decided on tarte flambée. The food was very tasty and the waiter was really friendly. What we found very unpleasant was the air in the room. It smelled incredibly strongly of food. In fact, I had to put all of my clothes in the washing machine afterwards. This is of course nicer outdoors in warmer seasons. In addition, a small children's menu would be nice. My daughter was of course happy about the fries and they were actually very good, but a few children's meals to choose from would be nice :)

Ambience and staff super nice. One of the best burgers we have ever eaten and the other dishes (tartare, mussels, flank steak, dessert) were also first class!

I had the pleasure of dining at Pauline on a sunny Sunday afternoon, and it was an experience to remember. From the moment we sat down, the service was top-notch. The waitress was incredibly warm and attentive, making us feel welcomed right away. We decided to sit outside, and the ambiance was perfect for a relaxed lunch in the sun. We didn’t have high expectations, but Pauline exceeded them in every way. We started with oysters, and they were absolutely delicious – fresh, briny, and perfectly prepared. Following that, we tried the onion soup, which was hands down the best I’ve ever tasted – rich, flavorful, and comforting. The Flammkuchen was equally impressive, with a wonderful balance of flavors. To complement the meal, we enjoyed both a delightful Cremant and wine, which were great choices. The highlight of the experience was when the chef came out to check on his customers – a personal touch that added to the warm, inviting atmosphere. I can wholeheartedly recommend Pauline to anyone visiting Potsdam, and I’ll definitely be back on my next visit. A wonderful dining experience all around!

Everything was great... except the price-performance ratio wasn't right. The 🍔 is delicious, but unfortunately too expensive. Tarte flambée tastes great and is very well topped.

When you feel a bit peckish in a foreign country, somewhere that makes Pizza is always handy, The food was EXCELLENT Ihad one with meat & spices, my wife had one with some kind of fish. Both brought to the table by a charming, helpful waitress. Excellent value for money.
