800 Grad Prime Beef Steakhouse in Potsdam

WOW We drove from Hamburg to Potsdam just to eat at redo 800 degrees. We weren't disappointed, the journey was worth it, the 400g steak 🥩 was awesome, I had already eaten steak in many restaurants, but I've never had it so tender and incredibly juicy. The service is super attentive and very friendly, the interior is very cozy and attractive. Unfortunately I have to deduct 1/2 a point because there was no soap and only a kitchen paper roll to dry my hands on the premises. Otherwise everything 10 out of 10 Very happy again

I had a wonderful experience at 800 Grad Restaurant in Potsdam! The food was not only very good, but also plentiful. A big thank you to René Dost for the voucher from the Instagram raffle. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was first class. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Toilets could do with a renovation...but I wasn't there for the ceramics department, I was there for the steak and it was very, very tasty.

The steak tasted very good. The service was polite and I hardly had to wait without a reservation. I can only recommend it.

The food was really good. You're not used to anything different from the Redo group. True to the motto “Gastro is awesome GIG” you are valued as a guest here from start to finish. From the café to the rump steak, everything was delicious. I was particularly surprised by the price! You don't get anything "for free" but compared to other restaurants and compared to the standard, the prices are great!!! And the olive oil......23-27€ a bottle and here you get it for free with the food....brilliant.

We were really disappointed. First we were given blind wine glasses with lipstick marks on them. With the edge of the glass on an unclean tray. The carpaccio was more of a cheese plate. Without taste. When ordering, no one asked how done the meat should be. The tenderloin was good so far. The side dishes were subpar. Dry wilted salads. The bowl was labeled with fillet strips, what I got were chickpeas straight from the can. Beetroot from a jar and completely dried out meat. At least the service was friendly but not very professional.

Steak was honestly pretty bad. Price/performance not good either. Service was pretty nice though.

The very young staff was extremely friendly and very committed. The prices are slightly above a block house. Unfortunately, the following points of criticism must be noted: The desired cooking point for a steak was not achieved at all. The digital ordering process is simply bad. The cutlery was still wet from the dishwasher and napkins were only available upon request. Side dishes were excellent and the steaks were also tasty, just not at the desired cooking point in one case. It was also very warm in the restaurant.

We were visiting Potsdam and ate here for the third time, the young waiter wasn't really friendly, the chef personally served us the steak and asked us for an extra request, so my wife said, I'll be surprised, that's what Kam is simply first class, I absolutely recommend this restaurant just because of the great chef...we'll be back, greetings from the Schaumberger family

Hello, I was around. 2 weeks with my partner in the restaurant 800 Grad Prime Beef Steakhouse and unfortunately I wasn't 100% convinced. The steak wasn't cooked to the desired level, which unfortunately shouldn't be the case given the prices, and the sweet potato fries weren't cooked through either. One reason could be that the chef was perhaps alone in the kitchen and the shop became significantly more crowded during our visit and while we were waiting for the food. The waiter that evening was very nice and the ambience was ok.

The food was very good 👍, even though my rump steak wasn't quite medium and half of the rib eye was very mixed. It's meat, no problem. Very nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service wasn't really up to par with the 6 tables of 2 people each. First it took a while before the gentleman even brought the cards, without any kind words, then it took a while before he came back. At the next table a gentleman had ordered a red wine with his meal, which came when he was almost finished. We had finished eating for a long time, I had already put the plates provocatively on the edge, but he ignored it. Then we called for the bill and after collecting it he simply took the plates with him, whether it was tasty doesn't matter? There is a scanner in the women's toilet where you could give your opinion, but it is apparently no longer welcome? Therefore my conclusion here on Google.

Wir sind hier nach einem wundervollen Tag in Potsdam eingekehrt. Gewundert haben wir uns schon etwas, denn es saß nur 1 Paar im Restaurant. Das Ambiente ist schön gemacht und es hat im Hinterhof einen kleinen Biergarten. Als der Kellner uns die Karten brachte fragte ich nach Fassbier, was mir etwas mürrisch gesagt wurde. Schade denn wir hatten nicht den Eindruck das viel zu tun war. Deshalb fanden wir die Zeit bis die Getränke aufgenommen wurden auch als zu lang. Wir überlegten gerade ob wir wieder gehen sollten. Entschieden uns dann für Burger und Bier. Die Burger waren gut. Mehr nicht. Preis Leistung ok. Die Bedienung blieb muffelig. Da dies für uns aber auch ein Gefühl des Willkommen sein ist, würden wir hier nicht wieder hingehen. Schade!

Top quality, great service, great ambience

We were in Berlin during our vacation from the Netherlands. We came across this restaurant while visiting Potsdam. It wasn't expensive and the steak, burgers and desserts were incredibly tasty. Really tender meat and a well-filled plate. Simply wonderful. The service was very nice and friendly. It's really worth eating here.

Price performance was okay, nice atmosphere and friendly staff!

This was our second time here and unfortunately we were disappointed. Non-alcoholic cocktails or toasting something non-alcoholic wasn't feasible. The food was also so-so, the salad was very dry and wilted, our fillet steak was rather mixed and the baked potatoes were rather hard and of poor quality, black spots... Unfortunately we will not recommend this restaurant.

We were here spontaneously on a Friday. The food was good. Unfortunately my steak was less (wasn't medium) than my husband's. The shakers, lamps on the tables, everything was a bit dusty. All in all a good visit with small suggestions for improvement.

A very pretty place that combines rustic and modern style. The waiter was incredibly friendly and attentive, so you immediately felt at home. The food was ready quite quickly and was beautifully prepared. It was delicious and warm, the burger and the steak were a dream. And also cheap for this quality and service.

Beef fillet with green asparagus and Bernaise with 2 baked potatoes with quark and an ingenious, delicious sauce for the meat...that was incredibly tasty and a clear recommendation for the restaurant. We sat at the table for 8 in the courtyard and felt comfortable...

We had nice weather and sat outside. The service was super nice and friendly. The food was very tasty. Meat was great too. There was nothing to complain about.

The meat was very tender, but nothing exceptional. The service seemed a bit overwhelmed and erratic. There probably weren't enough glasses there either, where whiskey was served in wine glasses. That's not a bad thing, but it's strange when there's a shortage in a restaurant that's not even half full. Then the toilets were very annoying. There was a very pervasive unpleasant smell that wafted into the guest room. The toilets were very unclean unfortunately. Unfortunately we won't be coming back.

Went there yesterday and rarely ate such a perfectly grilled RibEye, to the point and very tender. Service was very relaxed and quick. All in all, full star rating in every point.👍Keep it up.

The ambience is still the best thing here. Otherwise we were disappointed with the food. Unfortunately, the meat was far too raw for medium and the side dish didn't come as shown on the menu. Salt and pepper were only offered upon request. There was no further background information about the selected wine. So no more visits from us here.

We were there for the second time. The food is really delicious and the service is excellent. We didn't have to wait long, we got a table straight away both times even though we hadn't made a reservation and the owner is also very friendly and nice.

We ate at 800 Grad Four Bites in Potsdam on Saturday. We were the first guests as the shop had just opened. We received service from a nice young man who was very accommodating and you could tell he had a clue. We had a fillet steak and a T-bone steak, which hit the right points. Conclusion: the steaks and drinks were good (although you can't go wrong with Cola and Pils) and would be recommended

Unfortunately I have to take back the good rating from 2 years ago. The meat was partially streaked with fat and tendons, even though I ordered fillet. The cooking point was borderline, almost too raw. We complained about the aperitif because it was very watered down and almost colorless. There was little to see or taste of the Aperol. The young waitress behind the bar left her colleague completely alone. After we finished eating, she saw our plates and turned away. Only after I approached her and told her that we had finished eating did she agree to clear the plates. This behavior is uncollegial. Certainly no one identifies with the restaurant. I wouldn't say the same about the other waiter. The toilets are not clean. I find the entrepreneur's philosophy of putting a QR code on the toilet that encourages direct snitching very questionable. It would be better to consider sourcing the meat locally rather than having it flown in. Unfortunately we won't be returning anytime soon. It's a shame that the quality couldn't be maintained.

Superleckeres Essen, megafreundliche kommunikative Bedienung, die charmant auf Extrawünsche eingeht. Tolle Auswahl für Vegetarier. Danke für diesen tollen Abend. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder!

Waren schon in wesentlich besseren Steakhäusern. Gargrad vom Filet war nicht Medium, sondern roh. Filet lag in einer Art Barbecue Soße, die wir aber gar nicht bestellt haben und die zum Filet auch nicht auf der Karte steht. Man legt Steak nicht in die Soße. Filet sowie Rib Eye kamen mit derart viel Pfeffer oben drauf, dass es teilweise eine richtige Schicht war und dadurch sehr scharf. Als Gast möchte ich mein Steak lieber selbst pfeffern. Leider ist man nicht flexibel beim Austausch von Beilagen, auch nicht gegen Aufpreis. Hatten dazu eine komische Diskussion mit dem Kellner. Qualität vom Fleisch war gut, aber es war nichts besonderes. Schade, wir hatten uns mehr versprochen.

Went here for dinner and were really impressed with the quality of the food we ordered. We had rump steak and rip eye steak, just great. Unfortunately we are no longer in Potsdam, otherwise we would have tried more, but we will definitely come back the next time we visit the city.

We (2 adults, 1 child) visited the restaurant on a Monday evening. Overall we were satisfied, even if we had an unpleasant smell in the entrance area was initially put off. The restaurant is definitely a bit more expensive. + very nice and courteous service (child-friendly) + large portions, well prepared, fresh + also vegetarian dishes on the menu - unpleasant smell, especially in the front part of the restaurant (according to the service, it was due to the nearby sewer and is not always like that) - Party music a bit too loud (not suitable for a quiet meal) despite fewer guests

good, reasonable steakhouse. Although we had steaks for the main course, the other dishes also looked good. Portion size and quality are good, and the price is also appropriate. The staff was consistently friendly and quick. Criticism, if you can call it that, is at a high level and only relates to the selection of special cuts or the range of steaks. For "Prime Beef", I would have liked something more special on the menu, such as Chateaubriand, Tomahawk, Beef Ribs, Pulled Beef or Wagyu, something that not every steakhouse offers. Maybe we could do “Special Weeks”. The furnishings and ambience are chic and cozy. It would be even better if there was a maturing cabinet in the guest room to create transparent "dry aged", but maybe I just overlooked it or there isn't enough space for it. But we'd love to come back because we liked it and the food is really delicious. Oh yes, don't forget to reserve a table.

5 stars for everything. The great ambience is the first thing you notice when you enter 800Grad. With a friendly and open welcome from the service staff, you immediately feel welcome, which is unusual for Potsdam. Since the concept change in January 2024, in addition to steaks, there are also bowls, pasta and burgers. The steaks have excellent meat quality and are cooked to the exact order. The burgers have a unique paddy and even these can be ordered medium, which is really a rare highlight. The bun is homemade with bakery quality chia. The garlic bread as a starter is also of top quality. Lastly, the prices. These are almost too cheap to be true for today's times and for the outstanding quality. For a rump steak 7 OZ or 200g with fries and salad 26 EUR and for such a top cheese burger with fries and salad 14 EUR are usually prices that you no longer find today. The 800Grad Four Bites definitely deserves many more visits!!!!

First of all, the food was good. Unfortunately there were many types of meat, none of which were on the menu, and no draft beer either. Probably problems with the supplier. We sat on the manhole cover of the grease separator, the smell was very annoying. All in all rather mediocre, but expectations were high.

Steaks in einer super Qualität und auf den Punkt gegrillt. Nette anrichte weise. Service wirkt etwas aufgeregt und unkoordiniert aber sehr nett und aufmerksam. Preis-Leistung ist gut.

Ein kulinarischer Höhepunkt auf unserem Kurztrip. Reservierung unbedingt erforderlich. Super Service, tolle Karte...Hatten Vorspeisen und Hauptgang, alles richtig lecker. Wir waren so satt, weil die Augen beim Bestellen zu groß waren ;-) Absolut empfehlenswert.

Wow, was für ein Gaumenschmaus. Für uns sicher eines der besten Steakhaus das wir kennen. So feines Essen, perfekt zubereitet und auf den Punkt gebraten. Feinstes Röstaroma und doch perfekt zubeteitet. Nette zuvorkommende und freundliche Bedienung. Wäre es nicht 700km von zuhause weg, würden wir öfters kommen.

Sehr gutes Essen. Leider sind die Kellner:innen total unorganisiert und laufen die halbe Zeit im Headless Chicken Mode durch die Gegend. Man kann hier ein sehr gutes Steak essen, sollte aber eher zu Nebenzeiten hin gehen.

Auf der Suche nach einem guten Steakhaus sind wir im Netz aufs 800 Grad gestoßen. Hier hab ich auch das erste Mal ein wagyu gegessen. Das beste Steak was i je gegessen habe. Rundum war alles perfekt.

Just had one of the best steaks in many years, cooked by Robert, a talented chef with a passion for butchering. Perfect 300g medium-rare, with simple pepper, salt and fat, and a fresh salad. Delicious.

Außerordentlich freundlicher und professioneller Servicemitarbeiter. Tisch wunderschön eingedeckt, allerdings am Tisch an der Bar Spinnweben. Fleischqualität super lecker und entsprechend dem gewünschten Gargrad zubereitet. Zu jedem Fleischgericht gibt es "leider" festgelegte Beilagen. Besser wäre eine freie Auswahl. Preis-Leistung passt hier, nicht aber beim extra bestellten Spinat. Hier waren es gefühlte 3 Teelöffel. Wiederholungsfaktor: Ja!

Auch die gute Beratung und das Eingehen auf Sonderwünsche waren wirklich super. Herzlichen Dank dafür an Robert und Robert. Die Steaks und der Hamburger waren vorzüglich und auch die "Beilagen" waren ausgesprochen lecker. Der grüne Spargel und das Grillgemüse - einfach mega!!! Es lohnt sich auch die Nachspeisen zu probieren. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend.

Hm, was soll ich sagen.... 2tes mal dieses Jahr dort gewesen und beides mal nicht ganz zufrieden gewesen. Erstes mal hat meine Bestellung überhaupt nicht gestimmt und auch der Service hatte ordentlich zu tun, leider. Gestern nun erneut dort gewesen. Wieder nur gefühlt eine Servicekraft für ein halb volles Lokal. Wir haben ewig gewartet... Das funktioniert in dieser Preisklasse nicht und lässt sich mit den (hoffentlich noch vorhanden) eigenen Ansprüchen nicht vereinbaren. Ich hatte einen Burger und der hat mich nicht überzeugt, jedenfalls nicht für diesen Preis. Ich war schon öfters dort und war immer sehr zufrieden, es war immer ein Highlight, aber dies Jahr war es echt nicht das Geld wert, leider. Ich hoffe es wird wieder besser.

Richtig lecker, wir saßen bei leichtem Regen im Hinterhof, es war fantastisch. Das Essen super lecker, die Bedienung freundlich und auf Zack. Wenn wir in der Nähe sind, kommen wir sehr gern wieder.

Ein Restaurant wo man gewesen sein sollte. Erstklassiges Fleisch hervorragend zubereitet. Freundliche Bedienung und sehr umsichtig

Ambiente ist toll, besonders der Innenhof. Drinnen riecht es leider nach Klo. Problem alter Häuser...Service war freundlich und "bemüht", leider nur 2 Servicekräfte da...das mit der "Tischklingel" ist ziemlich doof. Das Essen war OK, mehr leider nicht. Der Hummer ist zweimal gestorben, die Pfeffersauce muss dringend überarbeitet werden, das Steak war gut aber nicht medium rare, so wie bestellt. Wir können leider die 5Sterne nicht geben, da gibt es weitaus bessere Steakhäuser. Keine Frage ob wir noch etwas tri ken oder ein Dessert möchten, kein Absacker... Hat uns nicht so gut gefallen, wie in den letzten Rezessionen beschrieben.

Super gute Leute und noch besseres Essen.Wir aus Hamburg sind von Potsdam begeistert!

Wenn ich könnte würde ich mehr Sterne geben! Freundliche, lustige und aufgeschlossene Bedienung. Der Koch kommt aus der Küche heraus und berät persönlich zur Fleischauswahl. Drinnen tolle Bar LED Beleuchtung. Draußen im Biergarten sitzt man sehr Idyllisch. Also ein rundum gelungenes Ambiente. Auch Hunde werden wie König:innen behandelt! Das Restaurant macht von den Räumlichkeiten einen super Eindruck. Die Servicekraft war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Was allerdings die Preise angeht (siehe Fotos), steht in KEINEM Verhältnis und ist auch nicht mit den gestiegenen Energie-oder Lebensmittelpreisen zu rechtfertigen. Wir sind ohne zu Essen wieder gegangen.

Dank Robert, unserem Kellner, hatten wir einen sehr schönen Abend. Er ist auf alle kulinarischen Wünsche eingegangen und war sehr gut gelaunt. Ein gelungener Steak Abend 🥩 Auch ein großes Lob an die Küche.

Vielleicht hatte ich einfach nur Pech und habe einen schlechten Tag erwischt. Aber der Service war der schlimmste, an den ich mich in der jüngeren Vergangenheit erinnern kann. Falsche Getränke, falsche Gerichte, unfreundlich bis patzig. Wir waren mit ca 14 Personen dort und wurden an einzelnen Tischen platziert, obwohl ein Raum mit genügend Platz vorhanden war, an den wir alle zusammen gepasst hätten. Das Essen war okay, aber der Preis eine Frechheit in Relation dazu. Sorry, aber mehr als zwei Sterne geht echt nicht.

Gehobene Preisklasse, das Fleisch (Entrecote, Filet) leider nur durchschnittlich. Wir haben schon deutlich besseres Fleisch und Essen gehabt für weniger Geld
