I love the shop everyone is super friendly and really nice and the food is top notch you can't complain

Food was nice but… Beer was not cold at all. Also the staff were not helpful or professional. You would not think this place had locations overseas. The owner of this restaurant should visit this place and check those Japanese staff to educate for the better customer satisfaction.

We love Takeichi's ramen. We are regular customers here and are always incredibly happy when we are greeted with so much joy. The ramen is simply incredibly delicious and highly recommended. The queue is definitely worth it.

I think this is the tastiest ramen I've tried in Düsseldorf and Cologne so far. The service is extremely friendly. We waited a bit longer for the food, but it was definitely worth it.

The service from the staff was so bad that it was hard to believe it was a Japanese restaurant.

Several comments said that the octopus balls were good, so I ordered a takeaway. It was around 5:30 pm, and there were few customers in the store. As a result, the lady heard that I was going to the bathroom after ordering, so she asked me to pay first. Okay, this is understandable. As a result, after I opened the octopus balls in the store, I found that one of them was only half, and after communicating, she asked me to wait a moment, and then gave me three more. I tried it, and the taste was very ordinary, the skin was not crispy, and the middle was soft. Try to describe it as objectively as possible, and everyone can judge for themselves.

Restaurant with various dishes. I ordered the original ramen. It wasn't bad, but for me it wasn't outstanding either. The price is rather high for such a dish (almost 13€). Nice atmosphere. I recommend this place.

Quick and efficient service even during peak hours, the personnel is welcoming and friendly. The food was great, we truly appreciated they served us starters quickly after the order as we were quite hungry. Takoyaki and chicken ramens were delicious, I've never tried such a tender and juicy chicken breast as at this place. Definitely recommend.

By far the best ramen restaurant in all of Düsseldorf!

Visited in early May. The Japanese staff were joking around in Japanese, so I tried to speak to them in Japanese, but they kept replying to me in German, and when the food was served they just said "bon appétit" as a parting shot. When I went to pay the bill I said "thank you", but they were saying something in German and didn't even look me in the eye and just handed me the change without a word. It was a very unpleasant experience, so if you want to have a pleasant meal I recommend going to another ramen restaurant.

I had the curry with fried chicken. It was cold. I had it reheated. It was very dry. More like a child's portion. Disappointing for the price. I didn't feel full. I didn't like the taste either. Service was good. The shop is showing its age. You can hear the microwave ringing all the time. Well, it's not exactly fresh.

Very friendly staff, only the shoyu chicken ramen was very disappointing. The soup itself was very salty and oily. Even after adding hot water it was still too salty. The soup had besides salt not much taste and the topping was also very little. The service was very fast.

I highly recommend it. Very nice and friendly service. So far this is the best Ramen 🍜 I have had the opportunity to try. I will definitely come back here.

Very authentic ramen soup. We had the fried chicken and edamame for starters. Both were extremely delicious. This was followed by a vegetarian soup and one with chicken broth. The noodles were nice and firm, and the broth was perfectly seasoned. The service was quick, attentive, and very friendly. They even provided special children's cutlery and plates for our little baby. I'll definitely be back.

Food was authentic and delicious (would be better if it was saltier, tho). But in the hot days, the place was very hot and barely an air circulation.

We came here a bit by chance, but what luck for us! Delicious noodle soup eaten here! We had to wait about 15 minutes before we could enter, it was already dinner time and apparently it is a very popular restaurant. Fortunately it was not very cold that December evening. Once inside, we were quickly able to order and enjoy our noodle soup and karaage. Little Tokyo has many delicious eateries and this is certainly one of them!

Super good ramen place and the workers are very friendly! Normally you wait outside to be seated and then they seat you. The food was delicious! Highly recommend going with a group of 4 as its the easiest to sit down with. If your child loves ramen they will also love this place. It is also not super expensive like the other places!

We went here for a birthday celebration and I ordered traditional japanese ramen and sticky rice with chicken. Enjoyed the authentic flavours, mild seasoning and presentation of both dishes. The waiters were cheerfull and friendly and the delivery time was a little long, but not unbearable. Prices were excellent, especially compared to surrounding noodle restaurants. Definitely recommend!

Excellent place to eat ramen, even in soupless or dried noodle variations. The staff is friendly and I found back some flavours we got during our trip to Tokyo. Good memories. Keep up the good work team!!

Food is like 60/100, but consider it’s Germany, still very good for Asian born people to go.

The short queue on a Saturday lunchtime is well worth it. The visitor is compensated with a very decent ramen soup. Unfortunately, the meat was too cold, but the egg and the texture of the noodles were excellent. A bit hectic but friendly service. The non-alcoholic Kirin Pils is not an imported beer, but rather a Pils brewed under license in Bavaria. Price-performance ratio is just okay. The furnishings are reminiscent of an outdated ice cream parlor. The companion, who was unfortunately not present, would have liked that the kitchen team and the service staff spoke Japanese among themselves.

I think it was a very nice atmosphere, very friendly staff and super delicious ramen 🍜. I would definitely come again and again.

Briefly heard about the Little Tokyo area of Düsseldorf when doing initial research about the city. With that said, I was still surprised to find so many Japanese restaurants in the city! There are many to chose from, but Tokyo Ramen Takeichi looked very inviting from the outside. I walked in and was greeted in German, but then was relieved to find that everyone that I came into contact with also spoke great English. I sat down and ordered a beer and a spicy chicken ramen. It was so authentic tasting and was a fantastic portion size for the money. If I am ever back in Düsseldorf, I will definitely try more of the menu!

While we were waiting for our turn on the bench outside, a male clerk started smoking on the edge of the bench and the smoke flowed towards us, making us uncomfortable. As others have written, this person was only friendly towards Germans. Why would you let someone like this out in the hall? I had heard that it was delicious from a co-worker, so I went there with high expectations, but the fried chicken was over-fried and hard, and the soup was lukewarm and spicy, with no flavor.Chicken char siu? Everything I ordered was not delicious except the salad chicken was included in the ramen.There are other restaurants where the soup was lukewarm, but it was the least delicious of any restaurant I've ever eaten at (in Düsseldorf). The only saving grace was that the female clerk was also very friendly. Well, I don't think there will be a next time.

Another great shop to treat yourself to some ramen. I think the whole corner is so great that I managed to test this store. The atmosphere is simple and pleasant, the employees, like all Asians, are extremely polite and always nice. Of course, the food here is great again.

At the moment this place has more than 2000 reviews, so I definitely wanted to try this ramen. The nuddles are perfectly matched with the soup. The taste is unique, I took the chicken broth with chicken pieces. Definitely recommend visiting this place.

Good ramen Tokyo style, fast service, payment inside.

Mega delicious food and a large selection. The staff were in a good mood and really accommodating even late in the evening. Unfortunately, the restaurant has already had its best days in terms of furnishings and appearance. You could add something here again. But that's not so important. I can recommend the spicy ramen and the curry with rice. I will definitely come by again. Price-performance is fair!

The food was tasty, but unfortunately not outstanding for me personally. There were a few ingredients in the ramen that I wouldn't associate with Japan (fried onions, leaf spinach, peppers) but unfortunately the spring onions were too much. Nevertheless, the broth and egg were very tasty. The takoyaki and kimchi were delicious! I also really liked the seat with the view of the street. The service was very friendly!

Great food, I eat there with friends almost every other week and we always look forward to it, just great.

The ambience is great. In the restaurant you feel like you are in the middle of Tokyo with Japanese music and Japanese decoration. The food selection is very large with 4 pages and the drinks selection also includes Japanese drinks. The staff is absolutely friendly and very accommodating. The male employee is also always up for a joke. I ate the must have ramen and the taste of it is absolutely an experience. Nice and spicy and a good sized portion. Highly recommended! For me the number 1 when it comes to ramen restaurants.

Tokyo Ramen Restaurant is originally from Asakusa, Japan, but I am very happy to be able to enjoy such delicious food at this Japanese ramen restaurant in Düsseldorf, Germany. The shop's other ramen flavors, including salt, dashi and miso ramen, are the ones with the longest history. Paired with chicken, it's a delicious combination. The service from the store staff makes you feel at home. The food is served very quickly and the service is attentive. It is really a recommended ramen restaurant.

Really tasty, for €15-20 per person.

Unfortunately the ramen wasn't to my taste. I had not previously informed myself that this restaurant does not serve pork broth or chashu, as I know from ramen. The staff was nice and the tofu starter was delicious. However, the takoyaki were not homemade.

My girlfriend and I visited this restaurant 2 days ago. We ordered 2 different kinds of miso ramen and a chicken teriyaki don. Firstly, the staff taking our order was quite unfriendly asking „if it isn‘t too much food“, which is a weird question to ask. Came of as judgy. Secondly, the ramen wasn‘t really special at all, I had a chicken ball in my ramen which had a small piece of bone in it. This shouldn‘t happen at all. Then, I mostly ate the don. The chicken was good, very soft, but the night after our visit I threw up all of it. And continued throwing up. So something about the chicken wasn‘t cooked or washed correctly it seems. Not recommended at all.

We chose this ramen restaurant by chance and I was really impressed. The ramen has the perfect consistency and the broth has a very pleasant, high-quality taste. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, truly the best ramen I have ever eaten! The service was also super friendly and provided us with samples of the drinks, the atmosphere was really great. The food was tasty and came quickly. It is not a restaurant where you can dine quietly and for a long time.

Very interesting restaurant that serves chicken ramen, that's the first time we had chicken ramen instead of the regular char siu. After tasting it, i prefer the regular char siu version. Service is great and friendly, however, as the restaurant has a waiting que, we were rushed. Dessert was served even if we weren't ready, and the table was cleared very quickly in between.

Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed. Had traditional shoyu ramen and chicken don. We would have expected a little more "taste" from the ramen, it tasted a lot like chicken broth, so you almost couldn't taste the other ingredients. Unfortunately, the chicken don was not crispy, but rather soft and slightly flexible on the inside. The portions were also relatively small. The ambience was okay, as we were sitting next to the door cold air was constantly coming in so we were a bit cold. Our conclusion: we can do it once, but we don't need to do it again. Sorry.

Arrived on my own and wanted to wait inside for a table and for two friends arriving after me. Was promptly insisted outside by an arrogant waiter even when I said that it’s cold and asked to wait inside even if there was a lot of room to wait without imposing myself on anyone. Not a great service, suffice to say I ate elsewhere.

It was my first time visiting the store. Since it was my first time, I thought it would be the signature hot water ramen, but I ordered the limited-time chichinkatsu curry ramen. The noodles were thin and coated well with the soup, which was just the way I like it. The gyoza had just the right amount of garlic and was delicious. Next time I would like to order the signature menu.

Super delicious food, which comes super quickly. I had the Tantan Men Ajitam. It was incredibly rich, juicy and very warming, especially in cold weather. The portion was big enough - I now have to walk a few km to combat my guilty conscience ;) I'll definitely be back!
