Something is off. In the last year the quality of the food dropped considerably.

Highly rated little Tokyo Dusseldorf did not fail to impress! Easy to find and the staff speak perfect English! Food selection was great with full English translation. Or you can use the colorful pictorial menu. The must try Ramen noodle with pork & egg was served fast & proper temperature. The size of the charsui was on the smaller side. One might supplemented with more protein options. Will definitely recommend to any Ramen noodle fan!

Too expensive and doesn't taste good. Overrated

Besides chicken&veggie, my favorite takumi. Always quick, delicious food. Super lovely service. I like sitting here in the courtyard.

If you want to eat authentic ramen and aren't looking for a tourist attraction for Europeans, come to Takumi.

Hi, I was really excited to eat japanese food, ordered some chicken fry, as the outer part was roasted by the inner meat not cooked. it was really awkward to eat uncooked meat

Eat class. Ambience is good, just a little cramped otherwise it would be 5 stars. We went there especially after the trade fair (Cologne) because we know what we're getting and how good it tastes. The service is super friendly.

Quality of the food below average. Carelessly done. Broth temperature not hot/lukewarm. Gyoza mediocre. There are definitely better ramen shops in Düsseldorf than this chain.

This restaurant offers authentic Japanese cuisine. I can absolutely recommend you to go there. The food is fantastic. The service itself is really nice and accommodating but a bit overwhelmed, especially when there is a lot going on. All I can say about the ambience of the restaurant is that it is so mediocre. Because while the main restaurant is quite impressive, they have built a backyard that ensures that there are more seats, but then you end up sitting in the courtyard surrounded by three houses, none of which are very nice. What I didn't like is that the umbrellas in the backyard were in the middle of the walkway. Personally, I didn't expect this and at first I stumbled over the stones that were holding the parasols in place. I understand that providing shade somewhere is the best solution and I'm also very happy that these umbrellas are there. Nevertheless, you should at least make sure that you can manage it, that there is a passage somewhere.

If you like ramen 🍜, this is the right place for you. Super tasty ramen awaits you, along with brilliant snacks/starters for a complete meal. My stomach is full and I am happy.

Been there years ago and everything was great, but today everything was only lukewarm to cold. Some of the ramen were cold and the toppings of the ramen were also lukewarm. Unfortunately not recommended.

Been here several times and love it every time! For me the best ramen shop. The only thing I think is a shame is that it is geared towards “mass processing” and the atmosphere is therefore anything but nice and cozy. Unfortunately you can't enjoy the food as much...

Food was delicious. Starting with Edamame, continued with delicious drinks, ending with fantastic surroundings. I think someone went through a bad breakup. It was on Lana del Ray the whole time. Ice was also still empty.

Depending on the time of day, you have to be patient because there is usually a queue in front of the store, but that speaks for itself :D I'm happy to wait a little longer for the simply delicious ramen and gyoza. 🥟 🍜 The staff is super friendly and the restaurant is authentically and comfortably furnished. I'm already looking forward to the next time! 😍

I'm absolutely thrilled with the great food there! There was a small line, but the three of us got in within 15 minutes. We didn't have to wait long for food even though it was so busy. We were served quickly. The service is friendly, listens to you and tries hard. I'd be happy to come back!

I would say absolutely authentic ramen cuisine. Decent portions that fill you up. The staff is very nice. You usually have to bring a little time before a seat becomes available.

I got a bowl of ramen and nothing about it was particularly flavorful or really notable. The noodles had a strange texture to them from pre-cooking and so they were slightly stale. Great place but nothing I found extremely satisfying.

Authentic ramen and very nice service!

I think this place is quite overrated, considering many good reviews. Those expecting exceptional ramen might be disappointed. However, there are two plus points: the quick service and the friendly staff. Our drinks, gyoza, and two bowls of ramen were served in under five minutes. The gyoza was okay but nothing remarkable. However, the ramen, specifically the ajitama tonkotsu with spicy red sauce, was very disappointing. The broth was extremely salty, and the noodles seemed overly salted as well, making the combination unpleasant and unenjoyable. Additionally, the noodles stuck together, indicating they were improperly boiled or blanched. The egg topping was particularly disappointing; the yolk was almost set like a hard-boiled egg and cold, as if it had just been taken out of the fridge. This is not how ajitama in ramen should be prepared. The red spicy sauce tasted more like tomato ketchup, lacking any real heat and only adding to the overall saltiness of the dish. The sliced charsiu was just okay and could have been improved with slight torching or flambéing, though perhaps this is just their style. Overall, I would not return to this place. Sorry.

Was there spontaneously today and was served very nicely. Had gyoza and ramen and everything was delicious. Everything went super fast.

Extremely delicious. It was a bit hectic, but that was probably because it was Dokomi the day before. All the Takumi on Immermannstrasse were completely overcrowded. It was relaxed here. Sure, the shop is small...but I think it's cute. The only deduction for the ambience is because I couldn't imagine sitting there for any longer. It's tight and hectic. But overall it's still a good solution. The rush was also crazy. But really good for such a small shop.

Perfect! So I'm glad I ate here. The ramen is amazing, super tasty, large portions, AND they even let us in at 11:30, even though the opening times were posted at 12:00. We were able to choose a table and were seated immediately. Everyone was super friendly and greeted every guest loudly and with a smile. You could see that the employees enjoyed their work. We also have a comparison to Takumi 1st directly on Immermannstrasse. The selection at 2nd is larger, there are also other broths for the ramen, not just miso. The food was tasty and hot, and the price was ok too. I hope it stays that way and in a year you can eat as deliciously as you did the other day 😄

I have been a regular guest since 2018 Prices have become higher. The new meat is darker and therefore different than the previous meat (pork) and tastes dry and of nothing. The increased price is not the problem, but the new worse meat.

Really good ramen! After my trip to Japan, I had a little trouble finding ramen that I liked here in Germany... but there is really good, authentic ramen here.

It's an impertinence to even call it ramen. Luckily for the operators, local guests have no idea what authentic ramen tastes like. I've never had such a bland, completely watered-down "Tonkotsu" broth in any store. Especially bad when you consider that this is supposed to be the soul of every ramen bowl. Frozen karaage for the price is simply an insult. Disproportionately expensive for a mediocre noodle soup. Not recommended at all.

Very tasty ramen. The staff is also super friendly. You don't have to wait long. We were there on Japan Day and unfortunately there were long queues everywhere in front of the restaurants. There was also a long line in front of this restaurant, but we didn't have to wait long and quickly got a seat for 7 people. Very authentic.

Doesn't live up to the Takumi hype. It was full (it was definitely Japan Day) You have the feeling that you are always under time pressure. If you sit at the bar you are constantly being jostled. It was also too loud for my opinion although the music was very well chosen.

Great. The long queue was definitely worth it, one of the best shops you can visit in the area. The taste is on a different level, simply top.

The ramen is very tasty, but I didn't like the clear broth. Apparently you can also get extra spices, but unfortunately I couldn't communicate with the waiter. It's a bit of a shame if he speaks neither German nor English. The gyozas are very good. It would also be great if the doors weren't permanently open for ventilation. It's very uncomfortable to sit in the wind.

Very fast service, vegan dumplings and tempura are very good, as is standard ramen with pork. Ambiance is typically functional.

As a Chinese who have been to Japan twice, I think here is very good. Sitting in the restaurant brought me back to my travel in Tokyo. I miss that time. It can be salty for most people here because they usually eat with riceee and beer! It is so authentic that people have never been to Japan cannot tell. That’s sad. I love mala ramen, good for me, can be spicy for most people here, so be careful when you order… I will be back with my friends again. Keep Going :)

Takumi 2nd Tonkotsu offers an authentic and flavorful ramen experience that is especially impressive for first-time visitors like me. The variety and quality of the dishes, from the perfectly cooked noodles to the juicy gyoza, the crispy fried chicken, tender pork and fresh shrimp in a rich and aromatic soup, were consistently impressive. A small downer was the Japanese lemonade, which was not convincing in terms of taste and did not seem justified in terms of price - a common alternative such as Sprite or Fanta would be a better choice here. Overall, however, Takumi 2nd Tonkotsu offers a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience that ramen lovers shouldn't miss.

Small but very nice. We were lucky and were able to get a table in the guest garden, otherwise I can imagine that there could be problems with space at busier times, especially with larger groups. If you're expecting a special atmosphere, you've come to the wrong place, but it's comfortable and quiet. The service can't be improved, the staff is friendly, the food is served quickly and at just the right temperature to get started straight away. We had three different Tonkotsu Ramen and we all enjoyed them excellently. The broth is nice and hearty and extremely tasty, and there is a large selection of toppings and seasoning oils. We would have liked to try more but unfortunately the portions didn't allow that, we were all stuffed afterwards. But we'll definitely come back and catch up on it ;)

Good place for authentic Japanese ramen. There was a queue outside around lunch time, it seems to be a popular place. As it is a casual, fast-food style restaurant, service is prompt and staff will expect you to leave quickly after having finished your meal so that the next customers can be seated at the table. If you are fine with this concept and looking for a quick, tasty and filling meal, this is the place for you. The ramen are very good, prices fair. Recommended.

totally overrated. I was there today with a friend. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. The handful of soup that I had heard so much about was completely disappointing. It tasted excessively like flavor enhancers, which made the food inedible. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant. What you can take away from this is that the staff was very friendly.

This was our third time in Düsseldorf and every time this restaurant is a must-visit and indispensable. We already tried another ramen restaurant in Düsseldorf on our last visit, as well as several Takumis in other cities, but none of the others could keep up here. By far the food here is the very best, really incredibly tasty & the staff is extremely welcoming! We will come back in any case!

I've heard from a lot of people that it's really good. But unfortunately I was rather disappointed. The yuzu lemonade was really tasty but the ramen was pretty mediocre. The broth was far too thin for tonkotsu and the noodles were so semi. The eggs were actually quite good, but I still know them better from some other restaurants. It was okay, but unfortunately nothing more. + The staff felt rushed to get up.

They didn't manage to take the order properly. We ordered two ramen 🍜 first and wanted to order the third 🥉 but they didn't get it. Anyway, we were happy with two ramen 🍜 since the kid didn't finish the dish.

I went there with high expectations because they raved about how delicious it was, but it was inferior to most ramen I've had in Asia. There were plenty of toppings such as char siu, bean sprouts, and green onions, but the taste of the soup was disappointing. I didn't regret it because I was thankful for eating authentic Japanese ramen in Germany... but 6.5 euros for 4 takoyaki isn't that bad...

As always, the food was great, including the karaage and the ramen. The only disadvantage is that the restaurant is very small and cramped and the toilets can be reached outside via stairs (which is not covered, so when it rains it's not so great) But the good food makes up for it.

I have been to quite a few restaurants of this chain in Europe, even in Düsseldorf I went to the tan-tan noodle before this one. Sadly this one isn’t up to other’s standard, egg and broth isn’t good, noodle and meat is average. Maybe I would give another try later….

This noodle shop is not recommended for Asians, you will regret it if you try it! Both the texture and taste of the noodles are terrible! If you don’t believe me, go try it!

The Ramen looked pretty but tasted Mediocre. The broth was extremely extremely salty. Both the egg and the pork were not really marinated. The pork had no flavour at all to be honest. The noodles, on the other hand، were delicious. I've not seen noodles like theirs ever to be honest but the noodles itself were great. The rest, mediocre at best.

Karaage inside was still cold and not juicy, and the ramen was too salty and not tasty. Unfortunately, it's a shame

Karaage were already old, cold and not crispy but hardened. Not juicy either, it's sad that you give something like that to the customer. Takoyaki, a lunchtime addition, didn't feel like it had any fish content and the taste wasn't convincing either. Gyoza also to forget. The ramen was ok. The tonkotsu is ok. A good price for €12. The black garlic was good.

By far the tastiest ramen I've eaten! I go there regularly with friends, family or work colleagues. The food is exceptionally good and original, the service is super friendly and the atmosphere is absolutely cool. A great store and I find the price-performance ratio almost too cheap given the quality and service!

The ramen there is delicious. We went at a busy time and there was no line. We were served quickly and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely go again.
