The taste is okay, but the customer service is noisy A restaurant not suitable for people who want to eat slowly

I went there for lunch and ate a menu: Well. The taste of the tea was boring, the dumplings as a starter were just average. The ramen, however, was very good and a recommendation. But: The atmosphere was terrible: cramped and loud inside, simply uncomfortable! And cold!! How about turning on the heating? So: Japanese food ok (Kimchi as a side dish is almost Japanese...) - Atmosphere: uncomfortable. Good for a quick lunch, everything else: don't think about it🥹

After the reopening, I went to Takumi No. 2 for a spontaneous lunch. The place was busy, but you got a seat quickly. Because of the many guests, the restaurant seemed very cramped. The service was very friendly and the tonkotsu ramen we ordered came quickly. The broth was strong, the meat was tender and the noodles were still a little firm to the bite. The combination of the other ingredients rounded off the dish. With a drink I paid a little less than €15. The restaurant is highly recommended, as is confirmed by the high number of visitors.

I was in Düsseldorf on a Friday lunchtime in December and was looking for a Japanese snack bar/restaurant. The location is quite popular, so that at midday there is only room outside in the (heated!) beer garden. That speaks for the place. I had “Karaage Tantan men”, which tasted excellent. What I found to be a shame was that despite the hefty price, the breaded chicken pieces came out of the bag. This is also the only “criticism” point I saw the employees fetching supplies from the warehouse. Otherwise I can rate the service as typically Asian and very friendly. When I left the restaurant there was already a long line waiting outside.

If you are looking for Tonkatsu Ramen this is the right place. Very good and of quality.

The ramen was good and authentic, and the side dishes completed the experience perfectly. The quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in the preparation are impressive. The atmosphere felt like Japan, cozy and inviting. However, I had to wait outside for about 15 minutes until we got a seat. This speaks for the popularity of the place, but it can be a bit uncomfortable at peak times. However, the staff were friendly and made us feel comfortable, even when things were hectic. Overall, Takumi is an absolute must for anyone who loves ramen noodles - it's worth the wait!

Authentic Ramen! Recommend Karaage Mala Spicy ramen.

First time in Dusseldorf and I tried the Ramen here which was very delicious and also great service and atmosphere. The place is not that big and usually you need to wait outside for a while but everything went quite fast and we enjoyed some really good food. Definitely worth it 👍

Super delicious tonkotsu ramen! We got the ajitama tonkostu ramen with black garlic oil. Was around a 15min wait for a table for 2.

My ramen was ordinary, definitely not worth standing in line for an hour… My husband ordered a curry and it was not tasty at all ( I don't understand why people stand in line, you can eat such ramen anywhere, it's 5 out of 10.

It is one of the Takumi restaurants in the city centre. We came for dinner here. The service was very friendly and helpful. So, we could order quickly and the food was served quickly. Unfortunately my noodles glued together at the bottom of the bowl and the chicken was partly cold. The larger fatty skin parts were also a bit difficult to eat. The restrooms are a bit hidden outside. It is a good restaurant. Enjoy!

I ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen. The broth wasn’t overly salty but was quite rich in fat, which gave it a bold flavor. The toppings blended well with the noodles and base, creating a harmonious dish overall. At €18, it was a bit pricey, but the portion size was generous. However, the waiting time was quite long, likely because I came during dinner rush hour. I barely managed to find a small spot for one person tucked in a corner. Most of the toppings were deep-fried, which, combined with the rich broth, made the dish feel a bit unbalanced—lacking the freshness of vegetables. By the time I’d eaten about three-quarters of it, I didn’t feel full, but I’d had enough of the richness. That said, I still enjoyed the overall flavor.

I've been to 3 other takumi (in different cities) and this one is, without a doubt, the best The tonkotsu ramen is super tasty and the noodles are light, the chashu is also well prepared. We highly recommend Please improve Munich

Japanese restaurant to which I was induced by the positive comments it has. It's nothing out of this world, a small and uncomfortable place, at least the table they gave me. Just the right food. After almost an hour waiting in line, it was raining on the street, I left a bit disappointed, I expected more. Ramen without average, the best, the edamame. It's not worth waiting even a minute, is my advice...if you arrive and go in, ok if you have to wait yourself...I wouldn't do it.

The broth tasted like ABSOLUTELY nothing. So disappointed. Not even a street dog would eat that.

The food was really good and the dishes tasted good, so I gave it four stars. The atmosphere was pleasant and the selection of dishes was quite appealing. However, there was a big problem with communication: none of the employees spoke German, which made ordering very difficult. Unfortunately this meant I wasn't able to choose the dish I originally wanted, which was a little disappointing. What should be highlighted positively is that payment is easily possible by card. Overall, a solid restaurant, but with clear potential for improvement in the area of ​​communication.

Fast and nice service! However, this restaurant does not invite you to linger or have a “comfortable” meal. For me, Takumi has the best ramen in Düsseldorf, no matter which ramen you order, you will never be disappointed!

Nice ramen. Personally liked Tonkotsu ramen more than Shoyu Ramen, but both of them are worth a try.

Nice small little authentic Japanese place with good options for Ramen. I had Gyozas and the special Tonkotsu Ramen. Food was great, definitely recommended. The only thing that wasn’t as great was that there’s a bit of a cold wind from the backdoor that opens very often (that’s just if you sit further back).

Super delicious food and a great selection! It was a bit of a shame that we had to wait a long time to place our order and groups that came after us were able to order beforehand. But that was certainly also due to the weekend. We'd love to come back!

Highly rated little Tokyo Dusseldorf did not fail to impress! Easy to find and the staff speak perfect English! Food selection was great with full English translation. Or you can use the colorful pictorial menu. The must try Ramen noodle with pork & egg was served fast & proper temperature. The size of the charsui was on the smaller side. One might supplemented with more protein options. Will definitely recommend to any Ramen noodle fan!

This restaurant offers authentic Japanese cuisine. I can absolutely recommend you to go there. The food is fantastic. The service itself is really nice and accommodating but a bit overwhelmed, especially when there is a lot going on. All I can say about the ambience of the restaurant is that it is so mediocre. Because while the main restaurant is quite impressive, they have built a backyard that ensures that there are more seats, but then you end up sitting in the courtyard surrounded by three houses, none of which are very nice. What I didn't like is that the umbrellas in the backyard were in the middle of the walkway. Personally, I didn't expect this and at first I stumbled over the stones that were holding the parasols in place. I understand that providing shade somewhere is the best solution and I'm also very happy that these umbrellas are there. Nevertheless, you should at least make sure that you can manage it, that there is a passage somewhere.

If you like ramen 🍜, this is the right place for you. Super tasty ramen awaits you, along with brilliant snacks/starters for a complete meal. My stomach is full and I am happy.

Been there years ago and everything was great, but today everything was only lukewarm to cold. Some of the ramen were cold and the toppings of the ramen were also lukewarm. Unfortunately not recommended.

Been here several times and love it every time! For me the best ramen shop. The only thing I think is a shame is that it is geared towards “mass processing” and the atmosphere is therefore anything but nice and cozy. Unfortunately you can't enjoy the food as much...

Food was delicious. Starting with Edamame, continued with delicious drinks, ending with fantastic surroundings. I think someone went through a bad breakup. It was on Lana del Ray the whole time. Ice was also still empty.

I'm absolutely thrilled with the great food there! There was a small line, but the three of us got in within 15 minutes. We didn't have to wait long for food even though it was so busy. We were served quickly. The service is friendly, listens to you and tries hard. I'd be happy to come back!

I got a bowl of ramen and nothing about it was particularly flavorful or really notable. The noodles had a strange texture to them from pre-cooking and so they were slightly stale. Great place but nothing I found extremely satisfying.

I think this place is quite overrated, considering many good reviews. Those expecting exceptional ramen might be disappointed. However, there are two plus points: the quick service and the friendly staff. Our drinks, gyoza, and two bowls of ramen were served in under five minutes. The gyoza was okay but nothing remarkable. However, the ramen, specifically the ajitama tonkotsu with spicy red sauce, was very disappointing. The broth was extremely salty, and the noodles seemed overly salted as well, making the combination unpleasant and unenjoyable. Additionally, the noodles stuck together, indicating they were improperly boiled or blanched. The egg topping was particularly disappointing; the yolk was almost set like a hard-boiled egg and cold, as if it had just been taken out of the fridge. This is not how ajitama in ramen should be prepared. The red spicy sauce tasted more like tomato ketchup, lacking any real heat and only adding to the overall saltiness of the dish. The sliced charsiu was just okay and could have been improved with slight torching or flambéing, though perhaps this is just their style. Overall, I would not return to this place. Sorry.

Was there spontaneously today and was served very nicely. Had gyoza and ramen and everything was delicious. Everything went super fast.

Extremely delicious. It was a bit hectic, but that was probably because it was Dokomi the day before. All the Takumi on Immermannstrasse were completely overcrowded. It was relaxed here. Sure, the shop is small...but I think it's cute. The only deduction for the ambience is because I couldn't imagine sitting there for any longer. It's tight and hectic. But overall it's still a good solution. The rush was also crazy. But really good for such a small shop.

Perfect! So I'm glad I ate here. The ramen is amazing, super tasty, large portions, AND they even let us in at 11:30, even though the opening times were posted at 12:00. We were able to choose a table and were seated immediately. Everyone was super friendly and greeted every guest loudly and with a smile. You could see that the employees enjoyed their work. We also have a comparison to Takumi 1st directly on Immermannstrasse. The selection at 2nd is larger, there are also other broths for the ramen, not just miso. The food was tasty and hot, and the price was ok too. I hope it stays that way and in a year you can eat as deliciously as you did the other day 😄

I have been a regular guest since 2018 Prices have become higher. The new meat is darker and therefore different than the previous meat (pork) and tastes dry and of nothing. The increased price is not the problem, but the new worse meat.

It's an impertinence to even call it ramen. Luckily for the operators, local guests have no idea what authentic ramen tastes like. I've never had such a bland, completely watered-down "Tonkotsu" broth in any store. Especially bad when you consider that this is supposed to be the soul of every ramen bowl. Frozen karaage for the price is simply an insult. Disproportionately expensive for a mediocre noodle soup. Not recommended at all.

There was also a long line in front of this restaurant, but we didn't have to wait long and quickly got a seat for 7 people. Very authentic.

Doesn't live up to the Takumi hype. It was full (it was definitely Japan Day) You have the feeling that you are always under time pressure. If you sit at the bar you are constantly being jostled. It was also too loud for my opinion although the music was very well chosen.

The ramen is very tasty, but I didn't like the clear broth. Apparently you can also get extra spices, but unfortunately I couldn't communicate with the waiter. It's a bit of a shame if he speaks neither German nor English. The gyozas are very good. It would also be great if the doors weren't permanently open for ventilation. It's very uncomfortable to sit in the wind.

As a Chinese who have been to Japan twice, I think here is very good. Sitting in the restaurant brought me back to my travel in Tokyo. I miss that time. It can be salty for most people here because they usually eat with riceee and beer! It is so authentic that people have never been to Japan cannot tell. That’s sad. I love mala ramen, good for me, can be spicy for most people here, so be careful when you order… I will be back with my friends again. Keep Going :)

Takumi 2nd Tonkotsu offers an authentic and flavorful ramen experience that is especially impressive for first-time visitors like me. The variety and quality of the dishes, from the perfectly cooked noodles to the juicy gyoza, the crispy fried chicken, tender pork and fresh shrimp in a rich and aromatic soup, were consistently impressive. A small downer was the Japanese lemonade, which was not convincing in terms of taste and did not seem justified in terms of price - a common alternative such as Sprite or Fanta would be a better choice here. Overall, however, Takumi 2nd Tonkotsu offers a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience that ramen lovers shouldn't miss.

Small but very nice. We were lucky and were able to get a table in the guest garden, otherwise I can imagine that there could be problems with space at busier times, especially with larger groups. If you're expecting a special atmosphere, you've come to the wrong place, but it's comfortable and quiet. The service can't be improved, the staff is friendly, the food is served quickly and at just the right temperature to get started straight away. We had three different Tonkotsu Ramen and we all enjoyed them excellently. The broth is nice and hearty and extremely tasty, and there is a large selection of toppings and seasoning oils. We would have liked to try more but unfortunately the portions didn't allow that, we were all stuffed afterwards. But we'll definitely come back and catch up on it ;)
