The best ramen from Düsseldorf 👌🏽

Our first visit to Rahmen: Restaurant. After perusing the menu, you'll even find vegan ramen. We were all delighted by the fresh taste. The service is in English and very friendly. There are also a few seats available in the front courtyard. The price-performance ratio is reasonable.

Very good food, very authentic!

I’ve tried a number of ramen shops in the Little Tokyo area. Takezo was the one that stood out. Quality and flavours-wise, this is as close as you’d find in Japan. I ordered their signature ramen and loved it! Highly recommend!

Pure Japanese experience – here you get closer to the real thing than almost anywhere else in Germany! This restaurant is truly something special. Anyone who has ever been to Japan knows how unique the atmosphere, the aesthetics, and of course, the authentic flavors are – and this is precisely the feeling masterfully captured here. Even upon entering, you sense the calm, mindful atmosphere: simple design, warm lighting, an almost meditative tranquility. It doesn't feel like a "German Japanese restaurant," but rather like a piece of Japanese hospitality right here in our own backyard. And then there's the food: Every bite tastes fresh, pure, and lovingly prepared. From the delicate appetizers to the perfectly composed main courses and the finely tuned side dishes – everything is just right. Even the presentation is a feast for the eyes, the likes of which you rarely see in Germany. In short: If you miss Japan or simply want to experience authentic Japanese cuisine and atmosphere, this is the place for you. It's the restaurant in Germany that comes closest to the original for me – and one I always love returning to. A special place for special moments. Arigatou gozaimasu! Decent ramen. Got spicy miso and some lime lemon 3% alcohol beverage. It was a waiting line outside but if you come alone or +1, it will good chance they'll seat you in bar area without waiting in line.

I keep coming back for the vegan TanTan White Ramen.

I came to Dusseldorf from London for a trip. I noticed a place called "Little Tokyo" and was intrigued. I looked up reviews online and found that it is indeed the best ramen shop! If I want to eat there again, I'll come from London to Germany...

A super authentic and cozy restaurant with delicious food :)

I was there on a business lunch and was positively surprised by this beautiful and traditional Japanese Gem. The atmosphere is nice and cozy, just like ramen spots in Japan. The staff is very nice and respectful and the ramen are just incredibly good. I had the Kotteri Shoyu Ramen and was amazed by the rich and flavorful broth, along with the very tender Chashu.

The experience was a good and staff are friendly. Special shoyu ramen is good but tantanmen ramen is sour for our taste. The karaage was good!

Ramen is Japanese fast food. You eat quickly, pay, and leave. This is exactly how it's run here, which is authentic. The ramen wasn't anything special, but it tasted okay. They didn't ask what consistency you wanted for the noodles; if that's important to you, you have to specify it yourself. The service was friendly and attentive.

I lived in Japan for 6 months, and the ramen here is just as good as the ramen in Japan – highly recommended!

The vegan Tantan Ramen was absolutely delicious! I also ordered extra tofu as a topping and will definitely do that again – it was incredibly tasty. The service was great too; all the staff were super friendly. The wait was definitely worth it, and with the heat lamps outside, it wasn't a problem even in winter. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Good ramen. Most options have pork in them, so if you don’t eat it you won’t get a big choice (as far as I understood there is only one ramen that’s made with chicken)

Honestly, I can't really call it ramen. The soup has no body at all and is just thin. The tsukemen noodles aren't bad, but the soup is just disappointing. I don't really recommend it.

Since we wanted to order without pork, the waiter was exceptionally well-prepared and helped us order ramen that was completely pork-free. The ramen is the best in Düsseldorf!!

It was okay, but nothing special. We've definitely eaten much better in Düsseldorf... The free-range octopus was tasty, but the shoyu ramen lacked a bit of oomph, which is a shame....

We only waited for about 10 minutes and as soon as we sat down, we got our food very quickly. The black sesame tantan men tasted really interesting and good. Overall a very satisfying experience.

My favorite ramen restaurant in Düsseldorf. I thought this taste only existed in Japan. The weekday lunch specials are very reasonably priced.

The ramen is really, really good. My daughter was also super happy with the children’s menu and yuzuka. But apart from the food, I also loved the atmosphere - having to wait in the queue and there being a radiator on top of the queue so you can stay warm while waiting outside, the staff saying “irasshaimaseee”, “okyakusama okaeridesu”, the little details, the office going people sitting at the counter and having ramen - it was SO Japanese.. Also all the staff were super nice. Thank you so much for a lovely first dinner in Dusseldorf. Gochisousamadeshita.

An incredibly good Japanese restaurant! The food was simply fantastic – fresh, aromatic, and perfectly prepared. The ramen, in particular, was a real highlight. The atmosphere is pleasant, clean, and very inviting. The service was exceptionally good: super friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. You can really tell that they care about their guests' satisfaction. Definitely one of the best Japanese restaurants I've ever visited. I'll definitely be back!

We waited between 20 and 45 minutes, which I found perfectly acceptable considering the price and quality. My meal was pleasant and delicious. My friends had vegan options on the menu, but you can also ask for the meat to be omitted. The staff is very friendly. I ordered a shoyu ramen and a barley tea. The tea came with ice, and the ramen in standard-sized bowls. I was very satisfied and will definitely return.

I thought this place was just a hype. But. Hey I was so wrong, this is the real deal. You can't find a better place for a heavenly japanese dining experience. The 🍜 and beers, and sides were just 💯. I do not personally recommend many places. Takezo I recommend. There is one small problem though - you will probably end up waiting in a line for some half an hour. But it's well worth waiting for. 5 stars 🤩

The ramen is amazing, specially the Tantanmen. Food arrived very quickly and was super tasty. Since it was quite busy, they forgot to bring me the drink I asked for, but that can happen to anyone. Overall, would definitely come back!

Extremely delicious ramen, the best I've ever had! Service is super fast, even though the place is packed. If you're dining alone, you have to sit at the counter, overlooking the kitchen, which is perfectly fine, just a little cramped. All in all, a fantastic ramen shop, highly recommended!

The food was delicious – we had the Kara Mayo Don, Shoyu Ramen, and Kara Miso Ramen. The Kara Mayo Don was especially crispy and flavorful 😋 It's just a shame there were only two pieces of pork belly in the ramen. Nevertheless, overall the food was very good and the atmosphere was nice! 🍜

Authentic. Extremely delicious! Honestly. Best ramen in Germany (recommendation: Whitetantanmen) And I absolutely can't understand the negative reviews. I've been here at least 20 times and haven't had a single fruit fly, sticky floor, or any similar problems. The shop is so nice and polite that they even chased us for about 200-300 meters because we left our baby bottle there. And they even bowed and apologized. Best shop ever!
