Takezo in Düsseldorf

It was our first time there. The service was excellent and very attentive. The food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We'd go back anytime!

Good lunch menu. The P/L level is still correct here.

When I ordered via Uber Eats, I did not receive part of the order worth €18. A very unfriendly employee at the restaurant initially said it was Uber's fault and that I should call them. Unfortunately nothing was left in the driver's car. If Uber is their business partner, why are they accusing them of stealing or damaging the order? In any case, I didn't get the ramen or the €18 back, and the restaurant employee just hung up in the middle of the conversation. I can't recommend this place - there are enough ramen restaurants to choose from. It's better not to order anything for delivery there, because if something goes wrong, you'll be treated the same way: they'll just hang up the phone on you.

I've eaten much better. There was hardly any meat in the ramen....Spinity 3 wasn't anywhere near spicy....and I think almost 17 euros is too much for that

Ramen was very tasty, unfortunately the egg was a bit too dry, but otherwise the price was significantly better than many other ramen shops nearby!

The homemade gyoza are uniquely delicious. The ramen is also exquisite. The service is very friendly and the entire team works quickly. I can't say anything about the interior since we sat outside.

Japanese quality ramen restaurant

EDIT: we were there again today and the food tasted just like it used to. We are in heaven right now and super happy. The food was great. We've been regular customers for over a year and have been there several times a week simply because the ramen there was amazing. Unfortunately, today the sad realization that they have changed the recipe and are using completely different noodles than last week and now the ramen unfortunately no longer tastes good, because the noodles in particular were the best in Düsseldorf but exactly those were changed and then the broth too. The rest of the dishes probably still taste good, but I wouldn't order ramen there again and I'm not sure we'll go there again

There were still a lot of people dining at two o'clock in the afternoon, so the service staff asked us to sit at the bar to save us waiting time. The ramen is delicious and the service is very enthusiastic. Recommended👍👍👍

Overall, a decent ramen bar, although we've eaten better. The ramen with pork broth was tasty and well made, just a bit salty. But the meat was well cooked and went well overall. Egg costs extra, is not beautifully draped like elsewhere and we also found it to be a bit too done. Unfortunately, the ramen with minced meat wasn't particularly successful and we weren't impressed with the taste. In addition, we ordered extra spicy (also costs an extra charge!), but it wasn't spicy in the slightest. Both soups are also salty. The starter I ordered with the fried chicken and chili sauce also had zero spicy sauce, plus the chicken wasn't as good as elsewhere (even better in the supermarket next door) and the pieces were much too big. In terms of price, everything is at the top end, especially since everything costs extra, even the chicken cost 12 euros. Overall, we came to almost 60 euros (April 2025) for 2x ramen with minimal extras, the chicken and 2 drinks, which is simply no longer cheap. Since only one dish was convincing, we were a little disappointed. As far as drinks go, I also tried 2 Japanese things, one not tasty, the other sweet. We've already been to other ramen bars in Düsseldorf twice and have eaten better and cheaper. Overall, I still give it 4 stars if you compare it nationwide, but in Düsseldorf it wasn't as good as we thought. Staff very friendly, atmosphere typical and small. Waiting times were inevitable, we were lucky. However, if you don't queue here, it's not worth it. Soups also came to the table suspiciously quickly, I'm missing a lot here for 5 star ramen.

Very tasty Shuyo Ramen. Fast service.

Young and lively Ramen bar in Düsseldorf. In terms of vibes, this is one of the closest places I’ve found in Europe that feels like Japan. The team is dynamic and greets you with shouts of “Irasshaimase” whenever someone enters which is the way they do in Japan. I tried the Tsukemen (cold ramen noodles to dip in the broth), which was decent. The noodles were al dente and the broth was nice, although not at the same complexity level as what you might find in Japan. The staff is young and less experienced compared to top notch Ramen spots in Japan, so service can take a little longer. Still, this is one of the few places in Europe where I felt I was really eating in a restaurant in Japan!

A very authentic restaurant, the food is quick and freshly cooked and tastes very good. The only thing I would say that could be improved is the attention to the drinks order, here the staff could be more attentive.

For me the second best White Tan Tan Men in Düsseldorf :D (the best is at Takumi Spicy Tan Tan Men, also on Immernmannstr)!) The queue is usually not too long, broths are good, not too salty, good prices (around €15), chewy noodles, fast service.

Ate ramen here for the second time: so delicious. You're always standing in line, that's a minus, in both cases the conditions were understaffed and the service was therefore poor. Nobody could explain the menu and the different food options and differences because nobody speaks German. The food itself was super delicious!!!! The price is also okay for Dusseldorf (15€)

I've been eating here for years now and I think it has the best ramen in Düsseldorf. Not only is the staff very nice, but the food also comes very quickly. The different types of ramen make the menu diverse and there are also dishes that are not ramen.

Authentic ramen at a good price🍜

Very nice shop, ramen very tasty, service courteous, Japanese loudness of the staff. Takes getting used to but has its charm, but a no-go for people sensitive to noise, in my opinion it should be a little quieter. All in all, we spent a lovely evening there with delicious food.

Food was authentic and you could tell it has a more unique taste than some other chains in Düsseldorf. The taste is not quite my favorite but it was still good.

Good food for a fair price. You can't go wrong with this store. The Shoyu Kara Ramen was top noodles on the harder side and slightly curled? No way to describe it, but they weren't exactly like spaghetti. Soup very aromatic and minimally spicy. I felt slightly warm but it didn't really burn, it was more of a pleasant spiciness.

We sat on the terrace, which shortened the wait. Unfortunately, there are no cushions or blankets. The food and drinks arrived quickly. The karaage was juicy and flavorful. The noodles were firm to the bite, and the chige ramen broth was nice and thick. It was just a bit salty, and there could have been more meat in the bowl. It wasn't "🌶️🌶️" either :)

The seats inside were forced on us even though there were enough seats available outside. There was no reason why we should definitely eat inside.

We arrived at Takezo on a Friday around 3 p.m. and got a table straight away. For starters we ordered the “Karaage Original” and the “Tako Kara”, both very tasty, the Karaage were very juicy. Then came the main courses and the "Yosuke Tsukemen" looked visually to fall in love with, the thick noodles were awesome and dipped in the soup had an intense taste, the egg with it was really perfect. My wife had the "Coriander Tantan men" which was also super full-bodied and delicious, the sesame flavor was a bit too strong for her, but I also found this very tasty. The employees are really friendly and our order came very quickly. To pay, you take the piece of paper you put on the table at the beginning of your order to the checkout. A clear recommendation. As soon as I'm back in Düsseldorf, I'll eat here again.

It's a shame that the tsukemen noodles were thick. The old one was more delicious. Other than that, it's delicious and the service ladies are nice, unlike the typical unfriendly service at Japanese restaurants in Germany!

Price/portion is reasonable. Tamago tastes really really nice, absolute goes well with Ramen. Fried chicken is so-so, egg-mayo sauce is okay.

I recently visited Takezo Ramen and was really impressed by the authentic Japanese cuisine on offer. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you notice the pleasant, modern atmosphere, which immediately makes you want to eat. The highlight of my visit was without a doubt the ramen bowl. The broth, which is slowly cooked over ten hours using regional poultry, impresses with an intense, full-bodied taste that combines all the flavors wonderfully. The homemade noodles, made from a special blend of Japanese and European wheat flours, are perfectly al dente and give the dish a special touch. In addition to the ramen, there is also a selection of Japanese side dishes such as gyoza, karaage and fried rice, which add variety to the visit. I was particularly impressed by the lovingly prepared vegan version, which shows that all tastes are taken into account here. A small downside, however, were the waiting times, which were a little longer, especially on weekends. In addition, the range of parking options is somewhat limited and the prices for drinks are in the higher segment. Nevertheless, the positive impressions outweigh the negatives: authentic preparation, fresh ingredients and friendly service make a visit to Takezo Ramen a culinary experience that I would recommend at any time.

We were craving Japanese food late at night and found this highly-rated restaurant on Google Maps. Even though it was already 9 PM, we decided to give it a try—and we’re glad we did! We were seated on high chairs by the counter, allowing us to watch the chef prepare meals through a glass partition. This is the first Japanese restaurant in Germany I’ve visited that is actually run by Japanese staff, and they spoke Japanese among themselves, which added to the authenticity. As expected, the food was delicious! We ordered shoyu ramen, buta don, and karaage chicken—all were flavorful, with great quality and portion sizes at a reasonable price. Definitely worth visiting again! Side note: The toilet is exceptionally clean.

Scaaaam, don't give the rating for "get a free Sweet" because at the end they say that the promotion has expired. These signs are hanging everywhere and apparently the campaign no longer exists.

I had a wonderful dining experience at this Japanese restaurant. I ordered the chicken with spicy sauce, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were perfectly balanced with just the right amount of heat. I also tried the umeisu, which was a refreshing and unique addition to the meal. Everything was prepared beautifully, and I left feeling satisfied and happy. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately not convinced. Vegan/vegetarian selection very limited. And unfortunately nothing special in terms of taste. Service also rather mediocre. Too bad

We have been guests at this beautiful restaurant for several years now. We can really recommend it. The people who work here are really very nice. It's always delicious, ramen and the rest of the warm food is always nice and hot and totally fresh. In addition, there is actually something for everyone, including vegan ramen. However, for people who are very sensitive to noise, we recommend taking hearing protection with you, as it can get a bit loud, which is quite common in a restaurant like this. And the toilets are also very clean.

Delicious Japanese food and good beer. Chige-Ramen spiciness level III, luckily you could add Ichimi seasoning. Then it was spicy and delicious. 👍🌶️🌶️🌶️

When passed by, the menu looks so good compared to other Ramen restaurant nearby. Decide to trail, delicious on both Soya and Miso taste, the pork just not too fat and not too skinny, very good.

Best Japanese restaurant I have ever been to.

Had the miso ramen with extra egg. Unfortunately, the egg wasn't cut in half. Personally, I personally find it to be more aesthetically pleasing. Broth had a very pleasant miso taste (strongly umami and sometimes spicy) but I would have liked a touch more spice/spiciness. Besides, three pork belly strips instead of two would have been nice.

You're looking for good ramen without spending hours waiting in line on Klosterstrasse or Immermannstr. to stand with your legs in your stomach? Then you've come to the right place three corners away at Takezo. The classic here is the miso ramen with corn and butter. The service is courteous and very attentive and friendly. By the way, our friends in Cologne 😉 can also look forward to a Takezo in their town.

Authentic Japanese ramen with nice tea

Amazing food, kind but hard to communicate waiters. Nonetheless it is a nice place to eat. There are stickers on the wall telling that if you complete their survey you would get a free desert however when you tell waiters they tell you that is no longer possible. Normally i rated this place 5/5 but given their immoral behaviour i taken down to 3/5.

We always enjoy eating here! It simply tastes delicious and the feeling in the restaurant has something very special. However, you should always have time, as you usually have to wait in line outside (at least on weekends, unfortunately I don't know what it looks like during the week).

Cozy and delicious ramen. Would come again. Had the special ramen (forgot the name, the menu says "particularly popular with young Japanese"). There are a few noodles in it (especially given the price), hence 1 star deduction. Service friendly and fast, just don't understand German, but not that bad.
