I thought the famous ramen shop in Dusseldorf was only local, but after eating it I realized it was a chain store. I also had it in Amsterdam last year. The soup was very thick and salty. It was so thick that it was like sauce rather than soup. It was delicious, but I still think it’s delicious. The traditional ramen soup is delicious. There is no barbecued pork. The main side dishes are green vegetables, bean sprouts, chicken strips, fried chicken (additional charge required), and soft-boiled eggs (additional charge required).

Unfortunately the food was a disappointment. All the hype about the ramen and the shop is not justified. Both dishes tasted identical and actually not good. The service was also very hectic and absolutely overwhelmed. We didn't eat the food and quickly paid the money and looked for something else.

I liked Gyozo very much. It was just perfect💓💓💓. The prices are quite reasonable too. Worth to visit. But Unfortunately they don't offer sushi🥲

For me, the best ramen in Düsseldorf. Their Takumi Style surf & turf is delicious. The staff is very friendly. I recommend.

I have been visiting Takumi, or rather a franchise company, since 2014, and the quality is mixed. Since I've already been to Japan, I have to admit that it obviously doesn't come close to Tokyo Ramen. But it tastes okay, it's not my favorite.

The food at Takumi is always delicious, quick to prepare and really good ramen! I ordered the Teriyaki Miso Ramen, without any extras and was well full at the end (but purely from a taste perspective I would have liked to have eaten 4 more of the portion :D). The people in service are attentive and always very nice. If it's empty there, you can get to it quickly. Sometimes there are waiting times because it is very popular, but since the food doesn't take much time to prepare and eat, it goes relatively quickly! It's a bit tight, but at the same time comfortable. I really enjoy eating here and for me there is no better ramen restaurant in Düsseldorf and the surrounding area :)

Excellent restaurant for eating original Japanese ramen, in the street of the same name in the centre. I recommend everyone to have lunch or dinner here, for true fans of Japanese food.

Crowded.... why?? Becoz of the amazing ramen with **Naruto fish cakes. Super tasty and worth every penny. Got the food in 6 minutes and took 30 minutes to finish. Why?? Chopstick complications 😅😅

As a ramen newbie, you should familiarize yourself with the different types of ramen, as they differ greatly in taste. My best recommendation would be the Shoyu Ramen, which has the typical strong broth taste. Here at Takumu 1st you can't quite get the same ramen from Tokyo, but it's still the best I've had in Germany so far.

Finally I tried the famous Takumi. The waiters are friendly just extremely busy. You have to wait in line, on a Saturday the line is incredible long. We were there on a Sunday and had to wait for about 20 minutes at lunch time. I was disappointed by the food. The Edamame startet strong. They were salted and yummy. Same for the green tea, simple, not sweet, delicious. Now to the sad part. The Takoyaki were not good filled. 2 out of 4 had a tiny bit of meat inside. For a price of 6.50 that is not acceptable. The star of the show, the Ramen, were presented really well, Shrimps and Kaarage tasted well, sadly the soup and the eggs both were extremely salty. Maybe the cook was in love. I wasn't able to finish and had a stomachache afterwards. My mum finished her Ramen despite the saltiness.

Very popular and hyped restaurant in Düsseldorf's little Tokyo. After about 30 minutes of waiting, we got a small table in the very narrow restaurant. The ramen is delicious and the prices are as usual. Is it the best ramen in Germany? No, at least Cologne's branches offer the same quality without having to queue.

Because my companion and I came here after having some food at other places, we ordered a share for the two of us, but the waiter rolled his eyes at us. I thought it was funny. Takumi is more of a snack bar than a restaurant; Given that, it's quite okay. In any case, the dishes lack the care and detail that I expect from good Japanese cuisine. For example, takoyaki was served a bit mushy and without bonito flakes, and ramen left a certain glutamate taste.

Yes, takumi is one of the absolute hotspots in Düsseldorf when it comes to ramen. Unfortunately, the shop is really overcrowded in the afternoon and there are very long queues, even though there are one shop after the other on Immermannstrasse. Overall, the quality of the food prepared is very good, but the Japanese on Immermannstrasse don't do anything about it. The price is appropriate for the quality.

I came across Takumi1st through a recommendation and I was there by chance, I didn't have to wait in line for long and was let into the shop after a few minutes, the atmosphere is super cool, especially at the counter as you go into the kitchen I was able to take a look, I ordered the Tonkutsu Ramen with delicious toppings, and they were really the best ramen of my life, the taste was super delicious 🤩😋👍 I will definitely go here more often if possible, I can recommend it without reservation, 5 out of 5 stars 😁

Small, quaint shop, we got there very quickly and the food came a short time later, really great. We ordered a selection of dishes and they were all super tasty and you could tell they were freshly prepared. We'd love to come back.

Very good and fast service from friendly employees. 3 of the 4 of us liked the ramen dish, but not special. The 4th person didn't like it at all because of the strange aftertaste and gave up her food. When I tasted her ramen dish, I couldn't blame her. Gyoza chicken was tasty! Downside: toilet not fresh and no hand soap available (men's & women's toilet). Unfortunately, you often cannot estimate the situation in the kitchen. All in all, recommended for a quick bite, but don't expect much.

After years we finally tried Takumi but unfortunately we were a bit disappointed. Unfortunately, neither of us liked the miso broth because it tasted bitter. But all the other ingredients were delicious. Maybe we'll try Takumi again but with the white version.

The food is not hot, the bowl has many dents, the presentation of the food is not appetizing, the service is not friendly. The vegetables are not cooked properly. For the stated portion and price it is very not worth it. Only try 1 time, don't try again.

Very tasty food and very fast service!!!! As always, the food tastes very tasty (maybe too salty for some). The queue at the door takes the longest, but if you're alone or just the two of you, you'll be given priority and get a table after 10 minutes, even though the queue would last 30 minutes to an hour. After a few minutes you will be served straight away and shortly afterwards the food will be there. My meal probably took around 15 minutes and they apologized for the “delay”. So everything happens really quickly and everyone there is friendly even though it looks very stressful because the store is full. It's also pleasantly air-conditioned inside so you don't get too warm while eating. About 2 years ago there weren't that many vegetarian offerings, but now they've moved with the times and have lots of new offerings that are highly recommended! All in one a very authentic, well organized and high quality restaurant (in my opinion).

The Tonkotsu Ramen simply remains No. 1 for me The appetizers are also worth it. (Although the gyoza and takoyaki are clearly frozen products.) Still prepared with a lot of love. My recommendation: seat with a view of the kitchen. People there give 200% every day

Super delicious Japanese noodle house and other dishes. Unfortunately expensive and very popular (i.e. almost always full).

Was here twice in two days. A small and somewhat cramped, but fine snack bar with a characterful owner and smart staff. Everything goes quickly, but never seems rushed. The Japanese staff's knowledge of German/English ranges between good and non-existent, but this does not detract from the simple ordering and payment process. The beer selection is limited to one type, but the Kirin on offer is always drinkable and fits the bill. The takoyaki is a delight and the tonkotsu ramen is beyond any doubt worthy of the gods. Highly recommended all around.

Japanese cuisine in Little Tokyo! On the recommendation of a work colleague, we had dinner at Takumi 1st and were absolutely thrilled! The food is really excellent and authentically prepared. Both the starters and the ramen dishes completely impressed us in terms of taste. The service is attentive and fairly quick, so that the drinks found their way to our table shortly after ordering. The food didn't take long to arrive either, even though the restaurant was at full capacity. The popularity of the restaurant speaks for itself. In this context, however, you have to expect a certain waiting time before you get a table. There were four of us and we had to wait about 15 minutes on a Tuesday evening. In my opinion, the waiting time was absolutely reasonable because we were compensated with a fantastic meal. Takumi 1st offers both indoor and outdoor dining; The interior has a Japanese flair and is cozy, although a bit cramped. We sat outside and felt comfortable - despite the simple seating (beer tent sets) and the traffic noise. An excellent restaurant that we will definitely visit again!

Takumi is one of the first addresses for delicious and authentic ramen in Düsseldorf. This small restaurant is, so to speak, the “main store” - there are now many other “outlets”. We were here on Sunday evening. Reservations are not possible and sometimes you have to wait a while. We ended up sitting outside. The service was quick and friendly and the food was again excellent and came very quickly. It may be that the ramen comes faster than the gyoza, for example. If you want this as a starter you should say so explicitly beforehand. The yuzu lemonade was also very tasty. Of course, the specialty is the different ramen variations.

Although Takumi is actually the ramen shop in Germany, I was very disappointed during my visit. First of all, it has to be said that we had to wait about 30 minutes for a table. I ordered the vegetarian miso ramen and have to say they were nothing special at all. Neither the broth nor the remaining side dishes stood out in any way. Only the tempura vegetables and the noodles were reasonably good. In my opinion Takumi doesn't deserve the hype at all, there are dozens of ramen restaurants in the area, all of which are better (at least when it comes to veggie ramen).

FI’d give the overall experience 8.3/10: - Soup: 9/10: Authentic/hearty - Noodle: 8/10: Doesn’t “grab” onto the soup, a bit too tough/undercooked even after soaking still - Meat: 7.5/10: Decently cooked, cut was okay - Condiments: 7.8/10: Nice variety but not perfect balance - Atmosphere: 8.5/10The restaurant felt like ones in Japan which was nice. - Price: 8/10

Hearing the hype of Takumi ever since i came to Düsseldorf, I have expected a lot more from this place. It's indeed a decent ramen, not bad, and portion wise big. Very friendly employees and welcoming atmosphere. But if you ask me, is it worth it to come to Düsseldorf and wait for more than an hour for this ramen? I don't think so

“Can you recommend this place?” - Decided: No! You stand in line to eat ramen that is simply not good, the few pieces of toppings that you paid extra for are thrown on carelessly and you should also save on the side dishes... even the Takumi Nine Sapporo in Berlin Mitte is by far better, also when it comes to service!

Phenomenal ambience, with the most delicious ramen! My personal favorite is the Karaage Tan Tan Men, the Japanese-style fried chicken is simply unbeatable. Despite the store being full, we had our ramen served at the table after 2 minutes!

Today, a friend who was traveling with me had a silver tooth (braces). There was obviously a problem with hygiene. When I asked the service staff to report it, they could only replace it with a new bowl of ramen. I don't think we should be charged for this bowl of noodles! I have photos in hand and will notify the city government health unit tomorrow

The food was ok, you feel like you are in an authentic Japanese restaurant. Still, we were disappointed. The table was dirty and was not cleaned despite asking. Then they also charged us €1.5 for a container to take away food. That's just greedy. That's not how you treat guests!

There was hair in the noodle, so we told the waiter. But the waiter just stood there and looked at us without saying anything. We were not given the rest of our meal, but just took away the whole bowl. In the end, we were offered a drink and a very casual apology. I'm sorry for the way you served us.

The great thing about ordering tonkotsu ramen is that you can add creamy soup, 4 slices of chashu pork, and bean sprouts for free. The amount of salt is about the same as regular Japanese ramen, which is a bit too much for me. Next time I'll order less salt. Also, be careful of the long line.

I was there again today with my son and his girlfriend. As always, it was a culinary delight for us. Once Takumi always Takumi I'm already looking forward to the next time

If you want to eat authentic and good ramen, this is the place for you. At peak times, you have to expect a wait here, but it's worth it! Great ambience and very friendly service. We were served immediately after being seated and the food came relatively quickly. Very clear recommendation.

The soup was very salty and I don't know if it was because the noodles were undercooked or because the water was lukewarm, but the noodles were the worst. I asked other people around me and they said yes. It was expensive, so I ate it all, but I won't go again next time. It was the worst.

The people lined up at the store are mostly Germans who have no sense of taste, and there are almost no Japanese people. Also, the Japanese staff had a bad customer service that even the Germans were surprised by. Japanese staff who absorbed only the bad parts of German people. It's in a prominent location, but if you're Japanese, I recommend going to another store. If you judge whether a restaurant is bad or delicious based on the proportion of German customers, you are unlikely to fail.

I was lucky to get a table for my group straight away. After ordering, eating and paying, we were all full and happy after just an hour. The service was very quick. We had miso, shoyu and also tonkatsu ramen, all very tasteful. The portions were just right. The only improvement might be the outside seating, the benches are too small and tables a bit too low for taller adults. With a group of 4 it gets very tight. Otherwise, it's better to sit inside.
