Very good ramen 🍜 Okay service 👍 ☺️ but it was busy. I love going there :)

Busy place, crowded and small. But the food is good and you get served fast. I didn't mind it being cramped.

I looked forward to eating Takumi ramen again after a great dinner 2 years ago but last night was a disappointing experience. The ajitama was all "tama" and no "aji" (aka, a straight-up hard-boiled egg) and the chashu served was cold, tough thick slices with no tenderness to them. I hope this was a fluke from the kitchen and not the new norm.

Super bomb every time I was there. Service was awesome as well as the food.

I'm no expert on Japanese food, but when I was on Immermannstrasse, I decided on this restaurant, and I have to say, it was a good choice. My chosen dish was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff was extremely friendly, and I was served promptly. I will definitely eat there again. The ambiance, in particular, made me feel like I was briefly in Tokyo.

The food was quite good, but far too expensive for the amount. We ordered gyoza once, among other things, and were told at the end that it was supposed to be two, even though we only ordered one. We then had to pay for two. Considering that the main courses are already quite expensive, it's outrageous that the staff insists on paying for the food we didn't order, simply because, of course, once the food arrives, you no longer pay attention to the quantity and just want to eat. You have to decide whether you want to take the risk and be treated like that. What we ordered also came in the order: appetizer, main course, and then the drink. Very incomprehensible.

The food was great! We sat outside and stayed dry despite the rain. It was Japan Day, so we only had 30 minutes. That was plenty of time for us, three children and two adults.

We ordered three appetizers. Two of them didn't even arrive lukewarm. After we asked for them to be served as warm/hot dishes, things didn't get much better. They were served from the warming section again. Every subsequent order was ignored. Annoying!

The signature ramen is too salty for me, but I guess that's what japanese ramen tastes like. Not my cup of tea.

You have to wait in line for a while, but once you're inside, you'll have your plate of food in front of you before you finish ordering! 🤯. All the dishes are delicious, and the staff is super friendly.

We went for dinner without a reservation since it was right on our way. It was packed, and they made room for us at the bar. We'd never tried Japanese food before. We ordered takoyaki (octopus balls) and two ramen dishes, one with chicken and one with pork. We loved it so much that we've been to other Japanese restaurants since, and there's no comparison. 100% recommendable, very delicious food 🤤

Overall: The original! Delicious food in Germany's most famous ramen shop. Still: Overhyped. Positive: The food is really good, there isn't a single dish I didn't like. Fast service, well-coordinated team. Great atmosphere, the flair really comes through. Negative: You usually have to wait. The food is delicious, but I don't understand why the line is always so long. It's not exactly a flavor explosion. The time spent is limited to eating to increase customer flow. You can feel this as a guest.

I highly recommend it to anyone who likes ramen and Asian cuisine in general. On weekends, I highly recommend bringing your time! If you want to eat alone, it's relatively quick, but for groups of three or more, you should plan on about 30-45 minutes. Otherwise, not during the week, of course. The ramen is incredibly delicious, and the broth is simply divine. The service is very fast. It's not a restaurant where you'll spend more than an hour, so you have to be aware of that. It's a small, cozy place where you can just relax and grab a quick bite to eat. I enjoy it every time.

Everything seemed ok but the Ramen was extremely bitter :( , I was too embarrassed to say anything at first I thought it was my poor knowledge of Ramen but a Google search says it should never be too bitter and my stomach is not feeling good. Maybe it was a bad batch but still, I hope they taste the broth before serving it

We initially waited outside for about 30 minutes for a free table. It was our first visit and we ordered ramen. The order came very quickly, and the food was absolutely delicious. We definitely recommend this restaurant! The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

A very good ramen restaurant. You may have to wait a bit, but it's worth it. This is the second time I've enjoyed the ramen prepared here. There are special offers on the menu at certain times.

The sandwiches were delicious and the portions were really generous. The prices are also really good (sandwiches around €18 + a €4 drink). The only downside is that it's very cramped and therefore quite loud. But otherwise, we'd be happy to come back!

I've eaten at a frame soup in several different European countries. But this place is truly my top recommendation. The menu is very easy to understand. The food is delicious and wholesome, and the staff is very accommodating. I definitely recommend it if you want to try a frame soup for the first time, or the second time, or the thirtieth...

The ramen, fried chicken, and gyoza are tasty, but not earth-shattering. The best part of the meal was the miso soup. Takumi has such a good reputation, and I'm always disappointed because I find the food rather mediocre. It's nice that you can sit outside and get a seat relatively quickly, even on weekends.

The welcome today was very nice, even though it was busy. The takoyaki was great, as was the half chicken teriyaki. The Ajitama Tonkotsu Ramen were ok, the noodles weren't completely through and angular, the eggs were still a bit soft, but more like 8 than 7 minutes. The broth was ok. Unfortunately, it only gets 3 stars, especially because of the main course.

We had extremely good ramen soups here. The sauce was very intense and rich in taste. All the ingredients were spot on. Delicious noodles. The portion size was very good and the relatively high price is okay. Outside you can sit quite comfortably in the middle of the Japanese quarter. Friendly and very fast staff. Food came after less than 5 minutes. Recommendation.

The Tantanmen Ramen was very tasty. Unusual for me, with chicken. Reasonably priced. The staff was ok The location looks old.

We were there 30 minutes before opening and the queue at the restaurant developed quickly. When we entered we sat directly at a window seat and ordered 3 ramen. The restaurant was filled in no time. Our choices were the Ajitama Tonkotsu Ramen, Kaarage Miso Ramen and Kaarage Tokyo Shoyo Ramen. We also separately ordered the vegetable tempura and a Yuzo lemonade. Tasty, authentic ramen with an excellently balanced proportion of the individual components. The Takumi team is professional, friendly and accommodating. The ambience seems very familiar and the atmosphere is absolutely great thanks to the open kitchen. Large portion for a fair price.

Düsseldorf is a city renowned in Germany for its significant Japanese community, making it a promising location to find authentic Japanese cuisine. During a visit to the city, I discovered a restaurant there called Takumi. As the numerous positive reviews it has received would suggest, the Japanese ramen served at Takumi offers a truly authentic flavour experience. The pork-based broth, which tastes as though it has been simmered for a considerable length of time, has a rich and deeply satisfying taste. The noodles and the meat are cooked to an appropriate texture, achieving a very good balance with the robust soup. To complement the delicious broth further, I also ordered a side of rice topped with Karaage (Japanese fried chicken). The Karaage was expertly prepared; it was delightfully crispy on the outside whilst remaining tender on the inside, and its taste was superb, providing an excellent addition to the meal. Furthermore, seeing the Japanese chefs at work in the open kitchen adds to the sense of authenticity and instills confidence in the quality of the food being prepared. One practical piece of advice for potential visitors: if you plan to visit during the lunchtime period, be prepared that you might encounter a significant queue, particularly if you arrive even slightly after the service begins.

Visiting Takumi 1st feels a bit like starting a new favorite episode. As soon as you arrive, you think you've landed in a side quest: lots of people, full shop, tension building. But don't worry, the level is doable. Despite the crowds, we were quickly brought to a table, almost as if an invisible host with teleportation had guided us through the crowd. The crew there is like a well-coordinated team from a shonen anime. Fast, friendly, attentive and with a smile on his face that would energize even a tired sensei. There were five of us, three of them children, and everything went as smoothly as a slice-of-life finale. There are no reservations, but it's like a good training arc: If you want to avoid the rush at peak times, you should think carefully about your timing. Otherwise, you may have to wait a little longer with your stomach growling. The food was an absolute power-up. We had a mixed bag of appetizers, ramen and curry. Everything was delicious, warm and full of flavor like a freshly cooked bento box moment. As a snack, I can particularly recommend the vegetarian gyoza and the fried squid pieces. The gyoza are crunchy-soft with an umami effect, and the squid pieces definitely deserve their own boss fight. I'd love to come back. Next time maybe with chopsticks in hand and intro music in your ears.

Hatte vegetarische Ramen-Suppe und war absolut begeistert. Die Zutaten, insbesondere das Gemüse, waren super frisch. Pak Choy oben drauf mag ich ebenfalls sehr gerne. Die Einrichtung ist typisch japanisch, also sehr familiär. Ein bischen Wartezeit lohnt sich hier in jedem Fall für einen schönen Restaurantbesuch!

I was in Dusseldorf for the day and found this lovely place that reminded me to the Ramen bars in Japan. The Takoyaki tasted just like the veggie one I had in Osaka, and brought me wonderful memories, the vegetarian creamy ramen is also delicious!

I can't believe I'm saying this. But this restaurant is a FULL 10/10 and I left happy with a full stomach. The food tastes great, the service is FAST and the atmosphere was warm and cozy DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!

Authentic Japanese restaurant. There is always a small queue, but it moves very quickly. The staff tries to seat everyone as quickly as possible and feed them delicious food. The prices are reasonable, most portions are quite large, but after eating there is only a pleasant feeling of fullness.

I've never enjoyed food so much. Honest. Me and my girlfriend were there today and ordered ramen with mushroom broth, rice with fried chicken and octopus balls. The octopus was so delicious, I would have loved to order more if I still had room for the other stuff. It was prepared very quickly. You can be really happy with the prices! You also get really full. I will 100% come back! The design inside was really inviting and you felt like you were in a series like this.

"Authentic ramen experience in the middle of Düsseldorf!" I was absolutely thrilled! The ramen was incredibly flavorful – perfect broth, perfectly cooked meat and really tasty noodles. The karaage in particular was a highlight: super crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside – exactly how it should be. The service was quick and friendly, despite the house being full. You can tell that the cooking here is done with love and experience. For me, definitely the best ramen restaurant in Düsseldorf. I'll definitely be back!

The food was tasty and quite authentic.

The soups are delicious, the gyozas are very delicious! But the octopus balls had too much sauce.

The broth was nice, but the ingredients, especially the egg and meat, were cold. The noodles were also undercooked. The service was very rushed; staff kept checking if we were done so they could clear our table quickly and seat the next customers. It was a very stressful experience. I do not recommend this place.

Very popular restaurant on Immermannstrasse, which means you should wait a bit The selection of food is great, and we were also satisfied with the service and ambience. However, the broths could have tasted a little more authentic and less monotonous. Overall, still a good restaurant.

You are welcomed with top service and immediately feel at home. The food is for anyone who likes Japanese cuisine, the spiciness of the food is customizable and super fresh. I am very satisfied with the visit and will definitely come again.

We ate there - it was busy so we had to wait a bit before we could order. We had the “ramen” dish with baked chicken twice. The taste is really great! For my taste, however, it could have been a little more vegetables or chicken. The portion was still large and filling.

The dishes are delicious. I liked them so much that I went back 2 days later to try the other options on the menu with 5 friends. On my second visit unfortunately I was not as satisfied as on the first visit, because while my friends received their dishes quickly, which is a plus for this restaurant, my dish took 15 minutes and I still had to remind the waiter that my dish was missing.

It was my first time eating ramen. And I love it. My husband had already been to Dortmund and Bochum and now he really wanted to go to Düsseldorf. We didn't regret it. We combined the visit with a concert that took place in Düsseldorf. It was super crowded. Also in front of and in Takumi. But it comes and goes, so we didn't wait more than 20 minutes. However, things would have looked different if the weather had been bad. So! Definitely bring some waiting time. As soon as we were seated the menu came. The drinks and food were taken quickly and 5 minutes later, our Surf n' Turf Ramen, Takoyaki and Gyza were at the table. Super delicious. The portion is huge, very filling. Don't believe it at all. All the food is really very fresh. And the service is very customer-oriented and attentive. We'll definitely be back. Thanks for the delicious food.

Takumi has so many good reviews and rightly so! We really enjoyed the food, miso teriyaki. We were served very friendly and left the restaurant feeling full and happy. The restaurant is ideal for a quick, tasty meal in a small space. We recommend this restaurant 100%!

I'm generally skeptical of hyped shops and could never motivate myself to join the almost always-present queue at the restaurant. But recently there was no need to wait and we spontaneously went in at lunchtime and I was very positively surprised. Great ramen and very tasty ingredients, plus Japanese lemonade and very friendly and quick service. Not expensive at all. It was very tasty, I'll definitely come back again. Arrigato!
