I absolutely love everything about this place!!! If I could give it 10 stars, I would in a heartbeat. My absolute favorite ramen :)

This was my first time here, prompted by the very good reviews. The food, service, and ambiance are definitely good. However, compared to the Japanese restaurants in the area, the food here doesn't compare in terms of taste, composition, and presentation. I'd give it a 4.0. In the end, I was glad I'd ordered an extra egg (I got half). Otherwise, I would have just had noodles in salty broth with pieces of chicken (not very tender). It was certainly well-seasoned with pepper.

The food was great, the atmosphere cozy and relaxed. The service was also excellent: the older gentleman was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I would definitely come back here again.

The food appeared to contain artificial seasonings. The middle-aged male waiter was very polite and friendly, but the dishes had a flavor similar to Chinese food from a casual diner, which was a bit too heavy for my sensitive stomach. Unfortunately, the smell lingered on my clothes and hair, so I had to take a shower afterward.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious; it was a great find! It's worth noting that we didn't speak German very well, but the servers spoke excellent English!

Update November 1, 2025: My last review is now three years old. After a year, I finally had the chance to visit Düsseldorf again. Today I had number 36 on the menu: Ramen with duck and kimchi topping. It was simply incredibly delicious. Thank you for being around for 20 years now! ----------------------------------- I haven't lived in Düsseldorf for years. But whenever I'm there, I always make a stop at My Noodlehouse. My personal favorite: Miso Ramen Special. Very tasty with a pleasant level of spiciness.

After several friends recommended "My Noodlehouse" to me, I went to this restaurant with certain expectations. Service was great! Everyone was super friendly & the ambiance was also solid :) Unfortunately, the ramen here was very disappointing :/ The pork tasted very buttery & was also cut into thick pieces, rather than the usual ramen style. The broth was OK, as were the noodles. What was definitely missing was the typical egg. A bottled Kirin also costs €5, which I honestly find a bit overpriced. Whether I'll eat here again is up in the air, but I'm leaning towards - no.

The atmosphere is very convivial, but also a bit hectic and crowded. Nevertheless, we really enjoyed the food and service and would gladly visit this place again.

It's not traditional Japanese ramen, but rather a bit of a Sino-Japanese fusion. The broth isn't salty, which is a plus! 👌🏻 The portion is also generous! A generous bowl is served. The octopus balls are delicious, with real octopus! 😋 The owner speaks Chinese, and she patiently waited for a solution to a problem with my payment today. Recommended! 👍🏻

Unfortunately, the fried noodles with vegetables didn't impress me at all. The dish was so flavorless overall – the soy sauce was the only seasoning. The chicken was unfortunately a bit dry and flavorless, and there could have been more vegetables. Next time, I'll try the ramen – maybe I'll be more impressed.

We came here based on the reviews and were immediately seated outside. The seating here isn't particularly special due to the location, but the restaurant is simply decorated and perfectly fine. It's great that you can watch the chefs prepare their food. So everything is freshly prepared and tastes delicious. I wouldn't call it a flavor explosion, but it's still tasty and the price is okay. I'd say it's mid-range. We had the duck and the miso + chicken stew. The duck stew really took on the flavor of the dishes. You have to like that, but the duck was tender and delicious. The miso chicken was also good. There could have been a little more vegetables in both. That's the only drawback. The noodles are freshly made in-house. That's really cool! We also had the kimchi and the gyoza (veggie). Both were also very tasty. Overall, a successful stew. I paid about €45 for everything (not including drinks). Thank you!

There were two of us. My friend had the duck soup, and I had the vegetarian miso soup. It came with wontons, squid balls, and gyoza. You can tell the noodles are homemade. Everything tasted delicious. The vegetables were fresh and the duck was juicy. There's a good selection of meats and vegetarian options. The service was quick and polite, even though it was busy and there were a lot of customers. It's a family business, and you can tell. I'll be happy to come back.

I'm very disappointed today. My girlfriend and I ordered ramen and an appetizer. Unfortunately, the food had a burnt taste. It was a disaster—we paid €36.90 for nothing. I'm sorry, but one star is actually too much for this.

We had three different ramen varieties. My fiancé highly recommends the spicy ramen, and I had regular ramen with pork belly and a delicious broth. Everything is freshly prepared, and if you get a seat near the front of the counter, you can watch the preparation. Highly recommended if you're a ramen fan or just want to try it out. The restaurant is right on the street, yet you can't hear any cars inside, and it's easy to have a conversation—if you can talk, if the spiciness of the noodles doesn't leave you speechless ;)

I had the Kamo Ramen (duck meat) with extra egg. The broth was tasty but very salty. I was disappointed to only get half an egg despite ordering extra. My friend tried the Miso Ramen special – the meat was somewhat chewy and the broth lacked depth. Having lived in Japan for a year, I can say this place doesn’t meet the expectations of 'authentic' ramen. It's certainly not living up to the 4.7 rating. What saves the experience are the very friendly and welcoming staff.

I didn't find the food that tasty. This isn't real ramen; every other ramen restaurant in Düsseldorf tastes more authentic and better. My soup (miso special with pork) was very watery, lacking umami, very spicy—even though I ordered less spicy—and unsalted. I added soy sauce, which didn't really help. The toppings were a limp, thin slice of meat and small, tough pieces of meat in the broth, which I left because I didn't like them. So, I basically got noodles with a few bean sprouts and a few spring onions in a watery broth—for €15 or so. The service, however, is incredibly friendly and nice, and the atmosphere is cozy. I still won't be coming back and absolutely don't understand all the good reviews.

We never would have expected that a small, unassuming restaurant like this would turn out to be one of the friendliest, most welcoming, and absolutely delicious when we spontaneously sat in. I never usually write reviews, but this restaurant simply deserves it. The menu truly has something for everyone; the fried noodles were incredibly delicious. The ramen was also amazing! I also have to give a huge thumbs up to the staff, especially the extremely friendly owner, who is so welcoming and welcoming. You feel like you're at home. Highly recommended!

For me, both count – plus the location itself, where you don't have to wait forever for a table. And that's exactly what I had here three times in one: delicious food, a great atmosphere, and fantastic service. I don't know which was better – the ramen soup or the waiter, Robert. He truly deserves a round of applause! His hospitality is something you hardly find these days. You immediately feel the sympathy, kindness, and warmth with him. Just like in the soup – quality and love! The homemade noodles, the huge bowls… oh, what more can I say! You just have to experience it for yourself. For dessert, they even had a Duplo – perfect because I like to round off my meal with something sweet. The team immediately won my heart ♥️ Highly recommended!

"My Noodlehouse – The Night the Noodles Swallowed Me" It began like a perfectly normal evening in Düsseldorf. I just wanted a bowl of ramen, a little warmth in the form of broth. But as soon as I sat down, the unbelievable happened: The aroma – a siren-like call of soy sauce, sesame, and mysterious spices – magically drew me toward the kitchen. Suddenly, the curtains opened like something out of a Western, only there were no cowboys standing here, but a chef with a smile as if he'd been waiting for just me for 20 years. "Come," he said wordlessly, and before I knew it, I was in the sacred cathedral of noodles. Here, pots steamed like mystical lakes, noodles danced in boiling water like happy dolphins, and a broth simmered, so rich in flavor that I swear it once smiled at me. I was allowed to stir, taste, and slurp. Every forkful a poem, every sip a declaration of love for life. Even the corn popping straight from the can seemed like a sparkling guest star in a culinary blockbuster. At one point, I was served the largest bowl of ramen of my life. I ate until I had no more worries, only happiness. As I drank the last drop of broth, I knew: This wasn't just dinner—this was my best time, my little escape to paradise. Bottom line: Anyone who goes to My Noodlehouse should be prepared to leave not only full, but in love.

I've been coming to this soup shop for years – even before the coronavirus pandemic – and it's still my absolute favorite restaurant in Düsseldorf. The ramen is simply incredibly delicious, fresh, and authentic. For me, it's clearly the best ramen restaurant. The prices are super fair, the place is always clean, and you can tell they put their heart and soul into their work. Even the bathroom was recently renovated – you can see that they've invested in and constantly strive for quality. I'm impressed every time. Five stars aren't enough – absolutely recommended! 😁

I ate here while attending Dokomi in 2025, and was recommended it by a streamer I knew. When a restaurant this size has been open for over a decade, you know it's doing something right. Indeed, I enjoyed every meal I had there. The staff were friendly as well, and everything had a strong, authentic Japanese feel. The second night I ate there I was a bit late and it already had a queue. But the moment the owner saw that I was waiting, he gave me priority seating! An establishment that remembers repeat customers like that earns instant loyalty, and I'll be sure to patronize them again in 2026! My only very small complaint is that the drink selection was very overpriced, but they didn't care that I brought my own water bottle, so it evens out.

Fast service, alright vibe, but food made us sick. After a long day travelling and feeling hungry, we were desperate to eat fast. Seeing 4,7 review score were happy to try it. The ramen was way too salty (too much msg) giving us stomach cramps for two days. We had the chicken ramen soup and the seafood kimchi soup. We didnt share dishes, didnt have any other food and both got sick from this shop.

The food is amazing, having been to japan before eating here, I cansay that everything down to the ramen and atmosphere is exactly the same as it is in japan. Very authentic food, even some vegetarian options for ramen and incredibily friendly staff. We left a 20 percent tip because it was so good.

The man who served us was very kind and friendly. We ordered ramen, yakisoba, and gyozas. The food arrived quickly and was all very good. Great value for money, highly recommended.

The atmosphere fits the place. Overall, I'm still unsure about the restaurant. I wasn't expecting authentic (Japanese) ramen, and I didn't get any. The taste is reminiscent of Asian restaurants, but it ranks higher up the list. The menu, however, is more specialized, and the ramen variations are exciting. I think I'll come here more often and try a few more dishes.
