Tried in every way to get in touch with the location. Telephone and written attempts over the course of weeks were unsuccessful. Not even received a response yet. Now another location with great service is happy about our visit!

We just wanted to enjoy a few starters, but were literally pressured into ordering the full menu for €59 - supposedly it was mandatory. This was not clear when making the reservation or on the map. In my opinion, such an inflexible and customer-unfriendly approach is absolutely unacceptable. Definitely the last time for us - if I could give zero stars, I would.

Unfortunately, I will remember my last visit to this restaurant for all the wrong reasons. I have always eaten in first-class restaurants in Düsseldorf for many years and have been to Paradise now 20 times in the last few years. On my own birthday, I was initially not let in by the door bouncer and female supervisor management and was received very negatively - with the reason that my outfit was "too provocative". At that moment I was simply speechless. I had prepared myself especially for this special evening, making sure I looked well-groomed and stylish - and then I was reduced to my appearance in such a humiliating way. In 2025 it should go without saying that everyone can dress the way they feel comfortable, as long as they look well-groomed. The fact that another person and a woman is making this hurtful criticism makes it even more bitter. In this day and age, such behavior is simply not acceptable. Only after I announced that I was going to the competition with my whole group were we finally allowed in. Of course, this back and forth had already dampened the mood. Unfortunately it continued like this: service was super rude and not at all customer friendly, cheeky and totally incompetent in service. I can judge this very well because I have been eating out every weekend for many years in Dubai, Paris, London, Munich, Hanburg and Düsseldorf in upscale restaurants like Paradise Now presents to the outside world, which in my opinion is absolutely overrated. Of all things, my meal - that of the person whose birthday it was - was forgotten. While everyone else had their plates, I sat there, feeling overlooked and unwelcome once again. Only after asking clearly was my food delivered, but the evening could no longer be saved. The sad end to the disrespect came: At the end of the evening we were even asked to “tag” the restaurant on social media in order to generate free advertising. Given our experiences, this wish is simply audacious. All in all, an experience that I cannot recommend to anyone. Especially when you're looking forward to a great occasion, you shouldn't be humiliated, judged and forgotten. It's a shame that a lovely evening had to end in such a disappointing way.

Unfortunately a bitter disappointment. The ambience was the only thing that stood out positively here - everything else was an imposition. The staff was condescending and unfriendly from the start. You immediately had the feeling that you were not welcome as a guest. We were immediately put under time pressure because the table was supposedly reserved again - which was simply a lie. The food was bland, tasteless and definitely not worth the exorbitant price. Only after a tip of €20 did the waitress manage to at least act as if she didn't care about our visit. Conclusion: Only appearances count here - for real hospitality, good food and a pleasant evening, there are far better addresses in the area. Absolute disappointment.

Super cool bar! The concept just fits together really well. The bar counter and the entire look of the serving area are particularly impressive - really high quality and stylish. The combination of a modern bar area at the front, a cozy dining area at the back and the adjacent club area is really cool. You simply feel at home here – a real classic in Düsseldorf!

Review for “Paradise Now” – An experience that unfortunately didn’t live up to its name I wanted to celebrate my birthday in a stylish atmosphere with good friends. Instead, we were turned away at the door - despite having previously confirmed a reservation for ten people. The reasons for this changed from minute to minute: sometimes it was the shoes of a pregnant friend, then suddenly the number of men in our group, then again the requirement that all ten guests had to appear at exactly the same time. Our group consisted of well-groomed, adult people - many with a partner, dressed respectfully and friendly to deal with. The fact that we were rejected in such an arbitrary, harassing and condescending manner was not only disappointing but deeply disrespectful. I have already visited exclusive locations - including those that advertise with celebrities or are defined by a certain audience. But even there, a minimum of style, attitude and professionalism is used to decide who is allowed in and who is not. Unfortunately, here one had the impression that things were sorted out at will - not with class, but with sheer arrogance. What remains is a bitter aftertaste - and the impression that image counts more than humanity. It's a shame about the potential of a place that could have been so much more. We had an amazing dining experience here! Every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The place itself is stunning — warm, cozy, and tastefully decorated. Highly recommend!

Service wasn't good, we had to wait 30 minutes for our drinks and it was a weekday and 6 p.m. So not necessarily rush hour. Waiter wasn't very friendly

The two stars are still very nice. The service was massively overwhelmed for a Saturday evening and the restaurant was blazing hot for an August evening. No ventilation available. The food: there were four of us and we waited 2 hours for the main course. We ordered the US steak twice and received two different cuts. One steak was much smaller than the other and to ask for 64 euros per steak (without side dish!) is bordering on cheeky. When asked, they just said very coolly “that’s just the way it is”. Unfortunately a culinary and service disappointment.

Unfortunately, it was disappointing. For the price, I would have expected better quality food. Our drinks and plates were cleared away even though we weren't finished. We had planned an upscale bachelor party, but the atmosphere was so strict that it didn't really create a festive mood. If you want to celebrate in style but still in a relaxed atmosphere, you're probably better off somewhere else.

The Paradise Now is decorated in keeping with its name. The concept fits and is very well executed. The service staff is well-trained and very friendly. Unfortunately, the artisanal aspect of the dishes doesn't match the high prices. We ate truffle pasta, pumpkin lasagna, and a Bolognese dish. All three dishes were very bland in flavor, the sauces weren't thickened enough (making them very runny), and on all three plates, the different types of pasta were undercooked, resulting in an unsatisfactory consistency. Overall, the food was edible, but still far from the price paid. The only small culinary consolation was the truffle fries, which everyone at our table appreciated. A nice spot for socializing and enjoying a few drinks, but not recommended for anything more.

Reservation doesn't work. Nobody to reach. You feel like a zero number. Regular guests have priority. Food doesn't taste good and the portion is small. Overpriced.

The place have a very nice aesthetic and friendly staff but the food was sadly very disappointing. The quality of it was not as I aspected it to be. I ordered salmon and it was very dry and small portion for a high price. My boyfriend had some kind of lasagna that was also small and not so tasty. The drinks was good but since went to eat dinner we was not so satisfied. The club itself was nice with good vibes and nice music. I would recommend the drinks and club but not the food sadly.

I’m a a regular guest there for food but I was there on my birthday half of my friends were in. The girl at a door . Very unprofessional very unfriendly told me that my top was too sparkly that’s why I couldn’t get in. So all my friends ended up celebrating my birthday party without me. and I understand that usually by any club but not for someone that spends a lot of money there every weekend and knows all the staff knows the manager and to be treated this way at the door by her to telling me that I’m too dressed up it was just unbelievable only in Germany. These things happen that you’re too nice to go to a club. I had a trousers and a sparkly top. Nothing out of ordinary. I was dressed perfectly . The funny thing is, the girl at the door herself no sense of style. She had no make-up on. She was dressed as she’s going to the gym. Either she was jealous or she had a personal problem with me, but I’m definitely not gonna spend my money there anymore if I’m gonna be treated like this. I I would keep my dignity and go to plenty bars around And you be treated very nice if you spend a lot of money.

Dieses Restaurant ist überhaupt nicht zu empfehlen! Eine absolute Katastrophe! Wir waren mit Freunden da, vier Personen. 19:00 Uhr Freitagabend sehr leer. Der Türsteher macht einen asozialen und rüppigen Eindruck, sehr unfreundlich. Das Ambiente ist wirklich sehr schön. Es dauerte eine Ewigkeit, bis wir unsere Aperitif bestellt haben. Es dauerte mindestens 20, wenn nicht 30 Minuten, bis die Aperitif kamen und das Wasser. Wir haben Vorspeisen bestellt und danach, haben wir auch Hauptgerichte bestellt. Nach einiger Zeit, ohne dass ein Kuvert serviert wurde, kamen unsere Hauptgerichte. Es herrschte Verwirrung, als wir nach den Vorspeisen fragten, und meine erklärte uns, dass es zu einer Verwechslung kam und nun unsere Hauptgerichte schon fertig sein. D.h. wir haben zuerst die Hauptgerichte gegessen. Der Fisch war kalt, die Nudeln nur halb durch, alles in allem wirklich nicht sehr lecker. Dann die Vorspeisen. Dazu kam dann noch das Kuvert mit dem Brot. Es wurde uns auch eine falsche Vorspeise serviert. Tatsächlich wurde uns ebenfalls versichert, dass man uns auf der Rechnung entgegenkommen würde. Nichts dergleichen passierte, volle Rechnung bezahlt. Alles in allem überhaupt keine gute Erfahrung. Personal inkompetent, nicht freundlich, macht bedeutende Fehler, ohne diese auf entsprechende Art und Weise zu berichtigen, das Essen nicht besonders gut, alles in allem nicht annähernd das, was sie gerne sein möchten. Schade, hatten uns sehr auf den Abend gefreut.

Das heftigste Lokal in dem wir JEMALS waren. Wir sind 5 Stunden dafür gefahren und es hat sich ALLES daran gelohnt!! 10 von 10 Punkten fürs Essen, die Drinks, das Personal, der Club, die Musik. Unfassbar, ihr habt den JGA meiner Schwester perfekt gemacht. Danke dafür!!

I had an unforgettable evening that started with a perfect truffle pasta - a treat that exceeded all expectations. The pasta was exquisitely prepared, with a creamy sauce that perfectly showcased the intense truffle flavor. Every bite was a culinary experience. The evening culminated in a dessert that was hands down the best I have ever tasted. If I could, I would give 0 stars. The lady at the door is very unsympathetic and rude. I asked her politely about something while she replied dismissively. She doesn't let southern women in. Before us and after us there were two groups of girls who were allowed in without a reservation. After it was our turn we said: “sorry, it won’t work today without a reservation.” After we asked why everyone else came in without a reservation, we were told: “I don't have to give you an account here. I decide.” I will advise everyone not to go there. Very cheeky!

I was really excited about my visit to this restaurant, but unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with strange looks, as if I had done something wrong just by opening the door. No friendly “welcome”, no smile – instead an unpleasant atmosphere that immediately puts you off. Then they said the restaurant was “full,” even though there were only three tables occupied. Other guests had to wait outside in the cold with no one trying to find a solution. It almost seemed like they were intentionally trying to feign an exclusivity that just wasn't there. The staff was absolute rock bottom. No effort, no kindness, just listlessness. All in all, this was one of the worst restaurant visits I've ever had. I really can't recommend anyone to go there - there are so many other restaurants that are more deserving of their money and time.

The architecture is truly breathtaking – perfect for some nice Instagram photos. Unfortunately, that was the best part of our visit. The service was extremely unfriendly. When my friend politely asked if her cappuccino could be made with oat milk, all we got was a snappy: “We're a restaurant here, not a Starbucks.” A nice, matter-of-fact answer would definitely have been more appropriate. In addition, after two hours we were asked to move to the bar because our table was supposedly reserved. However, most of the seats remained empty, which made the whole thing even more absurd. On top of that, tips were literally demanded, with a rather unfriendly insistence. All in all, the place is a real highlight visually, but the service, the atmosphere and the energy of the employees leave a lot to be desired. It's a shame, because the potential is there...

Unfortunately, this has nothing to do with food. An entrecotê (52€) which was inedible (of course it wasn't taken off the bill). The starter was simply brought to us with the main course. Even after we commented that we would like the main course after the starter, the staff was very unfriendly and overwhelmed to follow such a simple instruction. In general, all I can say is - please spend your hard-earned money somewhere else. This was a pure Instagram spot without a good card, let alone quality. Unfortunately, the waiters are absolutely not trained for such a (desired) price segment and ambience and you have the feeling that you are at the bar on the corner. The drinks were good (I have to admit) but €200 for an absolutely ruined evening is just not acceptable. Ceviche is like a pokebowl - where exactly was the lime juice? Do you try your dishes before offering them on the menu for €30? Conclusion - it takes more than pampas grass and colorful drinks to run a restaurant in this price segment. I would never recommend it and I'm annoyed that I visited the restaurant even though I've only heard and read bad things before.

The service is tried hard, the restaurant is nicely decorated, but subjectively not designed for large events. With 150 guests it can happen that the main course is not served until 10:30 p.m. after the first course was served 2 hours earlier. This is the last store! I've been trying several times to reserve a table by phone and email for a week. And what happens? NOTHING AT ALL! No response to calls, no response to emails, no response to WhatsApp messages - simply NOTHING! This is pure impudence! If you can't provide decent customer service these days, you'd better close your doors! Instead of offering a cell phone number, you should think about a landline number so that you can be reached. That's not a service, that's an imposition! If you don't move with the times, you move with the times! Obviously there is no need to attract or retain customers here. Absolute disappointment and waste of time!

Deceptive reservation policy – ​​don’t rely on it! We had a reservation for a birthday four weeks in advance and traveled several hours extra. But at the door we were simply refused entry - without even checking our reservation! Instead, we were just scrutinized and obviously sorted out based on our external appearance. This is not only unprofessional, but also completely disrespectful! If a reservation has no meaning and guests are randomly turned away, this should be made clear in advance. This saves you time, money and hassle. For us it was definitely the first and last time!

My husband and I were with you on Friday evening (January 3rd, 2025). Since we were very annoyed about some things and I am a fan of constructive criticism, I have written you an email to give you the opportunity to comment. Unfortunately no answer. About that evening: We had 2 highballs beforehand Estrella and Basillemonade (or something similar) Far too little ice, the drink wasn't cold and we didn't like the taste. We mentioned this to the waitress, but all she said was: I got the drink like that from the bar... Starter: Burrata and Gyoza Was very tasty! Main course: Salmon on peanuts... Or rather PEANUT BUTTER? The piece of salmon was very small (more like appetizer size), fried to death and sat on a peanut butter zucchini mash. In terms of taste, it was a disaster for us. Peanut butter goes well with Nutella, but not with salmon and zucchini. The couple at the next table also had the salmon and they thought it was the same as we did: it didn't go together. We ate the salmon and truffle fries because we were so hungry and commented on the salmon. Here, too, there was no “I’ll pass it on” from the waitress, “May I bring you an alternative” or “The dessert is on the house”. The dessert, the pistachio cake, was ok and made the evening (still) saved. We were really appreciative and phrased the criticism in a friendly way. The waitress was visibly uncomfortable, but she simply said NOTHING about it. Customer satisfaction should be the top priority. We didn't expect the dishes to be taken off the menu, but some accommodation (coffee, dessert, drink) should have been included. It would have been so easy to leave us feeling good that evening. Your restaurant has many negative reviews. An average of 3.4 on Google. All reviews are understandable. We (unfortunately) won't be coming back.

We had a company event there. All around everything was great.

The service takes far too long. We waited a total of 20 minutes until our order was taken. We ordered two water bottles straight away. These only came after 30 minutes. Our food came. After an hour and a half, our cocktails only wait about 35 minutes. Ambiance is nice, but it's way too loud and you can't have a conversation. You also have to wait forever at the cloakroom because there are only two women working there. The food is delicious, but there are only three ravioli on the plate. As a group, we all went to McDonald’s because you definitely won’t get enough there. I would have preferred to leave my €435 at McDonalds. Never again. And as a little tip, it's best to hire more waiters. For such an expensive restaurant you can also expect good service. Another minus point: you can only pay by card there and you can't be separated. The whole table has to pay in full together. I'm visiting paradise now, never again

Absolutely disappointing! The staff in this bar is completely overwhelmed, you wait forever for your drinks. It seems as if the bartenders have no idea about cocktails - they are prepared in a completely unprofessional manner and special requests (such as without ice cubes) are not taken into account. We went to Paradise Now yesterday and overall had a very pleasant evening. As soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed and escorted to our table. First we were seated next to a larger group, even though the restaurant was still quite empty. When we asked if we could move to a quieter spot, we were told it would soon get busier (which wasn't the case when we left the restaurant). Nevertheless, they showed us understanding and then sat us in a quieter corner, which we really appreciated because we wanted to talk in peace. Ordering was uncomplicated and the dishes came quickly. My starter, octopus, was excellent, and the goat cheese also tasted good - although I personally thought it could have been flambéed a bit more. For the main courses, the salmon was a bit too well-done for my taste, but the combination with the peanut sauce was an exciting new taste experience. The pasta with caramel truffle sauce and mushrooms was an absolute highlight – really delicious! Finally we had the pistachio tart for dessert. It was beautifully presented, but not quite to my personal taste. This is of course subjective. Overall, it was a successful visit that I would happily recommend. The ambience is beautiful, stylishly furnished and invites you to relax. Many thanks to the team for the good service!

Every time you have to wait between 20 minutes and half an hour for drinks and the food is already there. I went for a drink after midnight and a rude person with no criteria makes anyone who wants her like her. Bad organization

If you want cliché Düsseldorf, you've come to the right place. My friend had something poured into her drink by other guests. It's actually a nice shop, but you should approach it with caution

Warning for Asians: Discrimination! If you want to have a drink and listen to music in Düsseldorf, avoid this place. Save your money! What I experienced was pure racism. I was there with my girlfriend on Saturday evening. At the entrance the lady asked me if I had been there before. I replied that I had never been there to celebrate but had eaten there a long time ago. She then said, 'I'm sorry, I can't let you in.' I was shocked and didn't understand why. Was her problem that I was Asian? Directly in front of me, blonde women – whether alone or in pairs – were warmly greeted and let in. It was a sobering experience, but now I know. Luckily we moved on and spent a lovely evening in the sea bar. We were warmly welcomed there and had a great table. Conclusion: If you want to be treated with respect, avoid this store!

2 Punkte gibt es nur wegen des Ambientes. Es ist eine Unverschämtheit 26€ für das „Brokkoli Fume“ zu verlangen. Es hieß „ein vegetarisches Gericht Brokkoli mit Püree“ am Ende gab es eine Scheibe Brokkoli auf cashew muß. Unglaublich so ein Gericht als Hauptspeise anzubieten. Zudem war das Essen innerhalb von 5 min nach Bestellung am Tisch, (wir waren zu 6.) frisch gekocht wird anscheinend auch nicht. Essen nicht zu empfehlen!

We left the store after 5 minutes. After we were greeted at the door in a relatively arrogant and condescending manner, we stood at the counter for a few minutes and waited to be assigned a seat. We spoke to the staff, but no one felt addressed or responsible for looking after waiting guests. The food is not worth it!! We went there yesterday for my birthday with my husband. Yes, great atmosphere, no question, nice for photos but the price-performance ratio is very poor!! Nice interior, good music, but we've been waiting at the bar for our drinks for 50 minutes. I understand that they are understaffed. In my opinion, however, they are not taking any more orders or hiring any more staff! Unfortunately very overhyped :(

We had to wait about 40 minutes for our drink, which was quite a long time, while another table, who appeared to be regulars or acquaintances of the waitress, got their drinks within five minutes. Been there several times but was never allowed in. Supposedly always a “private event”. Strangely enough, I then see in the WhatsApp status messages from friends that they are sitting there - even though they are not invited to any "private event". Coincidence? Hardly. The funniest thing about it: Your Google reviews no longer have names. Transparency looks different, but at least it provides entertainment. I'm honestly happy! Conclusion: I don't know what goes on behind the doors, but as a guest you shouldn't get your hopes up too high. I am a real person as you can see from my Google reviews. Despite everything, I wish you a happy holiday and a happy new year. Maybe the door policy will work in 2025!

Especially on New Year's Eve I wrote three emails to make a reservation very early and called five times and no one informed me whether I could get a table. Even one star is one too many... We were there for dinner in a group, especially since we are not from Düsseldorf and Paradise now was highly recommended to us. Of course, when we arrived there were initially discrepancies with the reservation and the arrangement on the phone. The food was ordered and then we had to wait. After 30 minutes the lady came to tell us that it might take longer because the kitchen was “overwhelmed”. After exactly an hour the food arrived - COLD! As if it had been there for that one hour. I had tried my arrabiata with steak, realized it was cold, called the waitress and asked for a new one. She immediately took the plate with her and would order a new dish from the kitchen, but I will have to wait again. Since I hadn't eaten anything all day, I agreed. Less than five minutes later the plate arrived with exactly the same meat I had tried before. It was just placed in its original spot - in the middle of the plate - and chives were thrown over it. When the plate was returned, it arrived with new, warm meat but the same cold noodles. I then had to pay the price of €32 for this impudence. We were offered short ones as compensation, which we politely declined because we don't drink alcohol. So whoever highly recommends this store - is your enemy! Never again.

Mega nice place, nice staff and above all delicious food! We had to wait outside for a while, but the bouncers were very friendly and did everything they could to let us in quickly. From now on every weekend here and with a reservation you won't have any problems here.

For this shop it's worth finally leaving the old town and its bars behind and embracing a completely new (and convincing) concept in the harbor: After a nice welcome at the door and the announcement of our names, we have our jackets in the cloakroom hand over. Immediately afterwards, a very nicely dressed receptionist came up to us and accompanied us to our table. The menu is manageable, but there is something for every palate! We decided to order some appetizers to share and were immediately served bread and beautifully presented butter. For the main course we each had the steak and the fish, both of which arrived warm at the same time. When we asked, we were given comprehensive advice on wine accompaniment and ordered two bottles, the wine was really delicious! The waiters are present throughout the evening. You are not harassed, but they were always available when asked. For dessert there was the 'Instagram favorite' apple of paradise: we shared it because we were already very full, but we actually couldn't get enough. After that our time slot was already over and we ordered a few more drinks in the bistro, the music slowly got louder and the atmosphere became more and more relaxed. From 11 p.m. the large crowd went into the club: here again great atmosphere, elegant furnishings, great music! Overall, this evening was a great experience and has something to offer for all tastes. We would love to come back very soon!

I was here for the first time yesterday with a few friends and it was just great! A pleasant atmosphere and great ambience. We had reserved a table and our waiter was really attentive, he immediately brought us the menu cards and gave us his personal recommendation. The food was really the highlight of the evening. We ordered and shared different dishes, everything was fresh and delicious. I can really recommend the goat cheese and the salmon sashimi. The portions were just right so that you don't go to the club too full. When we went into the club area, I was surprised: completely different style, still elegant and great music! The atmosphere was really crazy, we celebrated more wildly than we had in a long time! Overall it was a great evening and I can only recommend The Paradise Now to anyone looking for a combination of good food and a great party!

Unfortunately I can't understand all the bad reviews. The bouncers are friendly, the service is great and on the weekends this is the place to be! We are happy to be guests at Paradise now.

The bouncer with the hat, sports shoes and lack of knowledge of German should definitely be replaced. After today's experience, I realized that people should train to be bouncers instead of hiring some random naughty boy. The dress code was more than adhered to and he complained that one person wasn't wearing high heels. Not everyone can wear high heels due to their anatomy. Men with sneakers come into this restaurant, women with stylish flat shoes don't. Sexist?
