My favorite brewery in Düsseldorf. Been here again and again for 11 years. Food and service excellent. Thank you.

Quaint Düsseldorf brewery. Always happy to have a delicious Mettbrötchen and Altbier.

We went for a goose meal and really enjoyed the delicious food and the nice service!

We arrived around 8:30pm on Saturday and there were several empty tables. At the entrance we were asked if we wanted something to eat or just something to drink and we said that we wanted something to eat and something to drink. They showed us a table but didn't offer us the cards and didn't serve us for the next 10 minutes. I myself got up to get two cards and we waited for a while until someone offered us something to drink. Meanwhile, a few tables were paying their bills and the waiters didn't even make a gesture to serve us. After trying to get served and waiting for almost 25 minutes, we decided to go somewhere else. I don't know if they had a very busy day and I can't say it was bad service because there was just no one taking care of us.

Nice place. Service and food were top. Price performance is right. Personally, we didn't like that mayo or ketchup cost extra. But every restaurateur has to decide for themselves and that's not worth a 🌟 deduction, but rather our personal opinion. If we are in Düsseldorf again, we would definitely eat here again.

So the entire location is very nice, but since the brewery is more popular there are little things missing from the menu and some typical dishes And unfortunately the prices are not appropriate either

Friendly staff, good food, pleasant stay

Great service, goose (whole goose for 4 people) was great, already filleted, juicy, lots of meat, side dishes were even delivered later. Everything 1a! We hope the offer will be repeated next year!

For years, the quality of food has been decreasing in comparison to the price. When it was still a real brewery, the beer, food and ambience were better.

Sauerbraten is better in other breweries

We ate various traditional German dishes here, all of which were excellent! The staff and service were also very friendly and smooth.

Great food, with a slight twist on the standard German brauhaus cuisine. Tasty locally brewed Altbier. Our friendly Croatian waiter was also very attentive and kept the Altbier flowing! I ended up paying cash, but I'm pretty sure they take credit cards, too, which is not that common in German restaurants still. There is a public car park on Am Wehrhan just round the corner.

We visit here every year while attending Boot. We love it.

Whether goose, game goulash or Wiener schnitzel, the quality was very good. The staff attentive and quick. And the brewery ambience is particularly beautiful with Christmas decorations

Sauerbraten isn't that great, it's better in other breweries

We ate goose there for lunch on Christmas Day. We had a nice seat and the waiter treated us very kindly and listened to us.

We had a great evening with lots of candles and delicious goose! Even though it was quite busy, we didn't have to wait long for service or food. Thanks to the whole team - we'll definitely be back :-)

Groot brauhaus. Nu in december gezellig ingericht met heel veel kaarsjes. Lekker Duits wintereten met o.a. traditionele gans. Bediening varieert, maar over het algemeen correct.

Nice atmospheric brewery bar, even though the beer hasn't been brewed in Ddorf for a long time. We went there with five adults to eat goose. A whole goose for four, one vegetarian. Everything cooked to perfection, seasoned to perfection and served in a relaxed rhythm. Service very attentive, unobtrusive and very friendly. Everyone very happy and satisfied. Thank you for a completely successful evening.

So I can't say the whole thing because I'm a coach driver and I didn't have any food at all because unfortunately I have to go somewhere else with my bus

It was a beautiful evening in a very beautiful brewery decorated for Christmas. Service was very friendly and quick. A great evening for our group!

Very unfriendly staff, food is too expensive for what you get. Definitely not recommended.

Such a cozy place, candlelight, cozy and warm - a very nice atmosphere. The meal was excellent. We had goose breast and Argentine steak. Price-performance ratio was absolutely suitable. We'll be back. Like every year at St. Martin’s Day. A table reservation is definitely recommended. Always well attended.

I just ate there for the first time, goose breast and red cabbage and dumplings, it reminded me of home. Thank you very much, everything was tasty, only the red cabbage with the cherries in it was a bit too sweet but that's complaining at a high level, great, I'll be happy to come back and recommend you to others.

We were there with several people for a goose meal. Unfortunately, the portions were smaller compared to last year and the goose legs were tough.

Last night, in a cozy atmosphere with friends by candlelight, we were served a great roast goose. Price and performance are right here!! Thanks

We just didn't drink a nightcap beer and were totally thrilled! Such an incredibly hospitable and great boss. The menu reads great. We regretted not eating here... Super nice location, beautifully decorated for Christmas!

Excellent typical German beer bar/restaurant in the heart of Dusseldorf. Good and varied food, as well as their dark beer. The service is bad: very few waiters who run around like crazy and the waiting times are long.

Group of 10 during one of the largest fairs in Dusseldorf. Still, easy to book, friendly communication when adjusting the booking. We felt welcome. Good service and good food, including gluten free.

Very tasty and friendly service. Unfortunately, baked apples and chestnuts still had to be paid for separately. Dessert, for me as forever hungry, was a bit small but expensive; still tasty. Conclusion: win the lottery and eat there again with side dishes.

We were here with a group for goose dinner. The service was friendly and quick, the food was very good. The goose was juicy and the portions were generous, and at 34.50 euros the price was also fair. Only the sauce was a bit "thin", otherwise everything was great and the other dishes (not all of them had goose) were also very tasty.

A successful evening with delicious roast goose. Tender and juicy, red cabbage and Brussels sprouts hearty and delicious, dumplings as they should be. The chestnuts also tasted very good. Unfortunately the goose I ordered felt like it was from last year. Breast and leg very dry and overall not crispy. Side dishes were great.

Sehr guter Service, gutes Essen etwas zu Hochpreisig, für meinen Geschmack, aber als Geschäftsessen absolut zu empfehlen. Würde ich wenn ich in der Nähe bin mit Seminarteilnehmern wieder besuchen.

A typical brewery pub with a cozy atmosphere, friendly service, delicious food and, above all, delicious beer! Even the two people at the table from Cologne liked and enjoyed it. -:)

Typical German restaurant where you can taste local dishes. Honestly, I didn't find any irresistible dishes, probably as a good Italian I understand why Germans appreciate our Italian dishes. But rightly adapting to the place I must say that the dishes served are worthy. Very high prices in my opinion.

This was our second time in this establishment. And the first time everything went well, as it seemed to us, and we decided to return. But our second visit was our last. Before we even had time to place an order, we were waiting for the waiter, out of boredom we opened a jar of mustard standing on the table and were horrified by what we saw there. I have no words, I can't describe it. I'll ask my husband to upload a photo. Never eat mustard that has been sitting on the table for unknown amounts of time. I actually think it's a terrible idea to put uncovered sauces on the table for everyone to use.

We once again celebrated our summer party in one of the most beautiful beer gardens in Düsseldorf. A few dozen guests were courteously provided with delicious Alt and other drinks for hours. The buffet we ordered was amazing, very tasty, lots of choice, something for every taste! The heavy downpour late at night did nothing to dampen the mood. Thanks to the huge awning, everyone stayed dry! Gladly, again at any time! 👍

We used to come here often, especially because of the delicious beer. After being extremely disappointed with food for a long time, we recently wanted to give Frankenheim a new chance. Unfortunately, we didn't have a good experience here again. The prices are pretty high for simple brewery food. In my opinion, asking 19 euros for cheese spaetzle is extremely borderline. At least in such a case you expect an exquisitely prepared dish. However, from our point of view, this is out of the question. I don't think the price-performance ratio is particularly attractive, even for most of the other dishes. In the other Düsseldorf breweries I don't get worse food and sometimes I pay a few (!) euros less for certain dishes. The service was quick and correct, but unfortunately not particularly friendly. Overall, I would describe the atmosphere as extremely stressed, you felt like you were being “handled” in a certain way. The menu (collapsed computer printouts) was smeared with sauce stains, you had to find salt/pepper yourself, the greeting and farewell were tight-lipped (hello - goodbye). It's a shame, because at least the atmosphere used to be nicer and more service-oriented. Unfortunately, what I also noticed negatively was the lack of family friendliness. I had the impression that the children were more of a “nuisance factor” and not welcome guests. In every Düsseldorf brewery, the kids are given a friendly word, sometimes even something to play with or paint with, and of course they are asked what they would like to drink and eat. Here the children were completely ignored. There are also no explicit children's dishes that do justice to the size of a child's stomach. We will no longer visit the Frankenheim because of this experience. There are certainly plenty of people who like it here, but it's not for us (anymore).

It's just a pub with Köbes - if you like it... it's really expensive now, like a lot of things... I find it inappropriate. M.M.

Friendly service Food cooked with love Rustic, beautiful atmosphere.

Unfortunately, the food was below average frozen food. Veal schnitzel fried completely dead, fried potatoes also inedible - and that for 30€. Good response from the service, but unfortunately the menu is tourist trap-level.

Typical Düsseldorf pub, but away from the old town. It used to be a lot more crowded here, but it's more comfortable now.

Food was ok, but European Championship games are a disaster. A box that doesn't capture 80% of the room and doesn't make any noise. Round of 16 of your own country...

Everything was actually great, but I went to watch the European Championship opener yesterday and unfortunately it was a little disappointing. There was no sound outside and therefore a few stars were deducted. The rest was very good. So if they can do that with the sound, then I would watch football there again

Unfortunately our evening was quite disappointing. It rained heavily (during the game) and everything got wet. Instead of helping the guests, the waitress just told us to get out of the way even though we were already completely wet. then we wanted to pay. Unfortunately we were charged €20 for a meal that was dripping wet. Our drinks were also just water. It's unfortunate that you then get hit on stupidly.

Watched the EM opening germany scotland. Waiter Medo (croatian) was excellent, great service, super friendly and efficient. However no or barely sound to the opening football event was unacceptabel. If I was a restaurant owner would have replaced the speakers at least in half time but no effort was made. Wont come back to watch any match

Clean brewery atmosphere, well-kept beer. Only the ear stud found in the Mettbrötchen spoiled the overall picture. A beer as a small apology would have been nice. At least there were new Mettbrötchen.

It is confirmed again and again: you can eat well in breweries. We were with a small birthday party in the inner courtyard (very nice and quiet, you can't hear anything from the street). Service was usually quick and attentive, and if something was missing it was quickly corrected.

Maybe I went too early, before 4 pm. Two servers couldn't cope with the few guests outside and in the restaurant area. After 15 minutes of wait, we decided not to order food and just drinks. While the beer was very nice and refreshing, I wouldn't go out of my way to get here. I did once, not again. Poor service, good beer.

Everything perfect. The food was very, very good and one of the best schnitzels I have ever eaten. The service was also exceptionally good. Only recommended!

The Altbier seemed a bit too malty for me and the special burger was too dry, but that is of course a matter of taste. Still 5 stars for the brewery ambience and friendly service.

Food looked like it came straight out of the microwave and service was horrible. It looked like they didn’t enjoy there job at all. They rolled their eyes when you asked for an extra mayonaise or a glass. When we asked for a bottle of wine they said very annoyed that they didn’t had a bar?

The waitress really showed that she didn't like our group. She rolled her eyes and was very rude to us. She also started to brush us off when we wanted to ask something. It seemed as if the food had been heated up and several people had stomach problems. I'll never come back here again. I would rather have given no stars.

We had booked the hotel for one night, it was okay, unfortunately the elevator was broken and we had to walk up the stairs to the 7th floor. The toilet next to the breakfast room was broken so you really had to walk up the seven floors again. Breakfast quite OK

I highly recommend the white, stale bread and ketchup starter that was offered to us after 1,5 hours of waiting for food.
