This was our second time in this establishment. And the first time everything went well, as it seemed to us, and we decided to return. But our second visit was our last. Before we even had time to place an order, we were waiting for the waiter, out of boredom we opened a jar of mustard standing on the table and were horrified by what we saw there. I have no words, I can't describe it. I'll ask my husband to upload a photo. Never eat mustard that has been sitting on the table for unknown amounts of time. I actually think it's a terrible idea to put uncovered sauces on the table for everyone to use.

We once again celebrated our summer party in one of the most beautiful beer gardens in Düsseldorf. A few dozen guests were courteously provided with delicious Alt and other drinks for hours. The buffet we ordered was amazing, very tasty, lots of choice, something for every taste! The heavy downpour late at night did nothing to dampen the mood. Thanks to the huge awning, everyone stayed dry! Gladly, again at any time! 👍

We used to come here often, especially because of the delicious beer. After being extremely disappointed with food for a long time, we recently wanted to give Frankenheim a new chance. Unfortunately, we didn't have a good experience here again. The prices are pretty high for simple brewery food. In my opinion, asking 19 euros for cheese spaetzle is extremely borderline. At least in such a case you expect an exquisitely prepared dish. However, from our point of view, this is out of the question. I don't think the price-performance ratio is particularly attractive, even for most of the other dishes. In the other Düsseldorf breweries I don't get worse food and sometimes I pay a few (!) euros less for certain dishes. The service was quick and correct, but unfortunately not particularly friendly. Overall, I would describe the atmosphere as extremely stressed, you felt like you were being “handled” in a certain way. The menu (collapsed computer printouts) was smeared with sauce stains, you had to find salt/pepper yourself, the greeting and farewell were tight-lipped (hello - goodbye). It's a shame, because at least the atmosphere used to be nicer and more service-oriented. Unfortunately, what I also noticed negatively was the lack of family friendliness. I had the impression that the children were more of a “nuisance factor” and not welcome guests. In every Düsseldorf brewery, the kids are given a friendly word, sometimes even something to play with or paint with, and of course they are asked what they would like to drink and eat. Here the children were completely ignored. There are also no explicit children's dishes that do justice to the size of a child's stomach. We will no longer visit the Frankenheim because of this experience. There are certainly plenty of people who like it here, but it's not for us (anymore).

Unfortunately, the food was below average frozen food. Veal schnitzel fried completely dead, fried potatoes also inedible - and that for 30€. Good response from the service, but unfortunately the menu is tourist trap-level.

Typical Düsseldorf pub, but away from the old town. It used to be a lot more crowded here, but it's more comfortable now.

Food was ok, but European Championship games are a disaster. A box that doesn't capture 80% of the room and doesn't make any noise. Round of 16 of your own country...

Everything was actually great, but I went to watch the European Championship opener yesterday and unfortunately it was a little disappointing. There was no sound outside and therefore a few stars were deducted. The rest was very good. So if they can do that with the sound, then I would watch football there again

Watched the EM opening germany scotland. Waiter Medo (croatian) was excellent, great service, super friendly and efficient. However no or barely sound to the opening football event was unacceptabel. If I was a restaurant owner would have replaced the speakers at least in half time but no effort was made. Wont come back to watch any match

Unfortunately our evening was quite disappointing. It rained heavily (during the game) and everything got wet. Instead of helping the guests, the waitress just told us to get out of the way even though we were already completely wet. then we wanted to pay. Unfortunately we were charged €20 for a meal that was dripping wet. Our drinks were also just water. It's unfortunate that you then get hit on stupidly.

Clean brewery atmosphere, well-kept beer. Only the ear stud found in the Mettbrötchen spoiled the overall picture. A beer as a small apology would have been nice. At least there were new Mettbrötchen.

It is confirmed again and again: you can eat well in breweries. We were with a small birthday party in the inner courtyard (very nice and quiet, you can't hear anything from the street). Service was usually quick and attentive, and if something was missing it was quickly corrected.

Maybe I went too early, before 4 pm. Two servers couldn't cope with the few guests outside and in the restaurant area. After 15 minutes of wait, we decided not to order food and just drinks. While the beer was very nice and refreshing, I wouldn't go out of my way to get here. I did once, not again. Poor service, good beer.

Everything perfect. The food was very, very good and one of the best schnitzels I have ever eaten. The service was also exceptionally good. Only recommended!

The Altbier seemed a bit too malty for me and the special burger was too dry, but that is of course a matter of taste. Still 5 stars for the brewery ambience and friendly service.

The waitress really showed that she didn't like our group. She rolled her eyes and was very rude to us. She also started to brush us off when we wanted to ask something. It seemed as if the food had been heated up and several people had stomach problems. I'll never come back here again. I would rather have given no stars.

Food looked like it came straight out of the microwave and service was horrible. It looked like they didn’t enjoy there job at all. They rolled their eyes when you asked for an extra mayonaise or a glass. When we asked for a bottle of wine they said very annoyed that they didn’t had a bar?

We had booked the hotel for one night, it was okay, unfortunately the elevator was broken and we had to walk up the stairs to the 7th floor. The toilet next to the breakfast room was broken so you really had to walk up the seven floors again. Breakfast quite OK

Stay away from this place, money trap! We had food and drinks, and besides this, we kindly asked for 6 glass of tap water (we were 6 of us). When we asked for the bill, they charged us 2.5eur for each glass of tap water! Felt completely scammed!

I highly recommend the white, stale bread and ketchup starter that was offered to us after 1,5 hours of waiting for food.

Unfortunately, it often took a long time for the drinks to be delivered. Shortage of staff?

My opinion: The beer is super tasty and fresh, the food is so-so. I think a Cordon Bleue needs some vegetables and salad and not just fries. It's too expensive for that. The Cordon Bleue deserved tasty cheese. But the service is excellent and quick.

Delicious brewery cuisine and a traditional atmosphere. The service could have been a little more attentive, especially since the restaurant wasn't very full.

Were there on Carnival Saturday and it was great there

Update: Were guests at Schwemme last week, but only for one beer in almost 45 minutes. So tradition goes to the dogs, no tap, no dishwasher, few staff and a full house. The wait staff, we can no longer speak of Köbes, has to do everything themselves. Unfortunately, if the area is too large, this has a direct impact on any guest service. Now there is supposed to be the "Der Zoch kütt" carnival party, it seems that no one has noticed that they can't get to Wielandstrasse. He probably went off the rails there, which is a shame. - - - - - - - Wasn't there for a long time and was pleasantly surprised. Good food, delicious beer and lots of guests in the Frankenheim headquarters.

As a group we were served quickly and friendly. (Although not everyone wanted to drink an 'Alt' 😅)

Arrived, sat down and was served! As it should be. Rustic atmosphere, delicious food and almost always a fresh Alt on the table. The toilets are in the basement (not barrier-free, I think). I'd love to come by again.

If you like Rhenish cuisine, this is the place for you. Some Düsseldorf specialties. Quaint. Nice service. Brewery style.

Fantastisk god mat, betjeningen var sur og ikke imøtekommende. Prøvde flere ganger å få servitør til bordet for å bestille flere drikker uten at de kom. Veldig sur når vi skulle gå da vi ønsket å dele opp regning på 2 familier.

Freundliche Bedienung, unglaublich leckeres Essen. Hausmannskost, wie man sie nicht mehr oft bekommt. Eine unbedingte Empfehlung!

Düsseldorfer Brauerei. Ich war schon länger nicht mehr hier. Ich war vom gemütlichen Ambiente überrascht. Die Bedienung war freundlich die Öffnungszeiten sind länger als in den Brauereien in der Altstadt. Das Mett Brötchen war frisch aufgebacken und lecker. Das Alt sowieso. Ich werde wieder Mal vorbeischauen.

The rudest staff I have ever seen in my life work here. When they brought the forgotten beer for the second time, they got angry at us and used very rude words by hitting the glass hard on the table. I definitely recommend not to go. It doesn't deserve even 1 star at all.

Der Service und Essen war wie immer ausgezeichnet, dazu die gemütliche vorweihnachtliche Atmosphäre mit der Kerzen und der schöne Dekoration. Wer gerne leckeres und gutes Essen mag, der sollte auf jeden Fall mal auf die Wielandstraße zum Frankenheim Brauerei Ausschank.

Wie hatten unsere Weihnachtsfeier in der Lokation. Diese hat ein echt super gemütliche Atmosphäre, sehr leckeres Essen und freundliches Personal

30 Minuten auf ein Radler und ein Alt gewartet, obwohl sehr wenig besucht. 3x angesprochen bzw höflich gefragt wann es denn kommt, es kam immer nur "ja gleich". Alle anderen wurden vor uns bedient. Und der eine Kellner ext erstmal ein Bier. Als das Trinken dann endlich kam, keinerlei Entschuldigung. Service echt grottig

Wow! Such an amazing place... It's an old Brewery. Everything was good. I went there thrice. Once it was very busy and I had to wait for my second Alt beer for quite some time. That was bad as I had to remind the gentleman serving a couple of times. Though I did get it. But the wait was enough to put me off. Then I visited the same place at night and ordered the same fish plate and boy, let me tell you, they DID NOT disappoint. Great quality! Good service by the other gentleman who was serving in the inside area. A must visit place. I can go there forever.

Es war die beste Haxe die ich bisher je gegessen habe. Das Fleisch schön zart und ist vom Knochen abgefallen. Die Kruste war sehr knusprig und einfach super lecker. Vom Ambiente rustikal aber sehr gemütlich. Auch der Service war super. Man fühlte sich sofort heimisch obwohl wir das erste mal dort waren. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Na ja. Keine Ahnung warum wir zum Gänseessen hierher sind. Haben keine ganze Gans vorab bestellt und bekamen jeder eine Gänsekeule mit Knödel. Ich habe das Wild bestellt. Die Keulen waren fäserig und zäh, die Knödel OK. Mein Wild war zwar zart aber roh. Die Braten-Sauce viel zu salzig. Die Wirsing-Beilage war vollgetrieft mit Öl. Nicht lecker. Unsere Bedingungen war sehr höflich und korrekt. Allerdings war der riesige Laden so unterbesetzt, dass wir sehr sehr lange warten mussten, bis wir unsere Getränkebestellungen etc bekommen haben. Klappte besser, als wir über die Tisch hinweg nochmal hinterher riefen ;-P. Ein Wirtshaus eher und kein Restaurant. Bestimmt gut für ein paar Gläschen außerhalb der Altstadt zu heben und übliche Wirtshauskost zu essen. Für Gänseessen aber nicht so geeignet.

Eine super Location! Sehr gemütlicher Biergarten im Sommer und die beste Adresse zum Gänseessen im Winter. Die Gänsegerichte sind sehr zu empfehlen. Besonderes Highlight: Der Frankenheim Spezialburger! Nettes Serviceteam, sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und flott! Wir kommen wieder!

Wir waren gestern zu dritt im Frankenheim. Es war nicht besonders voll. Wir haben uns an einen Stehtisch mit Hocker gesetzt. Man hat uns weder begrüßt noch eine Bestellung aufgenommen. Es liefen zwar ein paar Kellner rum, die uns aber ignoriert haben. Ein kleiner Hinweis, dass gleich jemand zu uns kommen würde, hätte ja gereicht, kam aber nicht. Nach 10-15 Minuten sind wir dann wieder gegangen. Man hat es wohl nicht nötig… wir aber auch nicht…

Als alte Stammkunden fühlten wir uns durch Ihr Riesenplakat mit den goldgelben Teilen der Gans angesprochen. Statt dessen erhielten wir ein Tage vorgefertigte Fleischstücke,ohne dem typischen Geschmack und Aussehen einer Gans. Ober hatten einen zu großen Bezirk und Bier gab es nur im halb Stunden Takt. Früher War ich begeistert, aber heute bin ich total enttäuscht. MfG Herbert Rütgers 🤣

Sehr gemütliches Brauhaus. Das Essen sehr lecker und viel, die Bedienung super freundlich und schnell. Für ein rustikales Essen sehr zu empfehlen. Für mich war lediglich die Geräuschkulisse zu hoch. Da bin ich allerdings sehr empfindlich.

Wir waren in der Vorweihnachtszeit in der Brauerei. Es hat mir sehr gut gefallen.

Wir waren zum ersten mal im Frankenheim und wir hatten Hunger und Durst . Schnell bekamen wir unser Alt und es war lecker . Zack zack Essen bestellt ( 3 x Schnitzel Wienerart mit Pommes ohne Garnitur und eine Haxe mit Sauce ) und zack zack war das Essen auf dem Tisch . Die Schnitzel zäh und labberich und die Haxe trocken . Da hatte in der Küche wohl einer kein Bock gehabt . Schade !!!!! Die Servicekraft war sehr nett und aufmerksam . Zum Bier trinken würden wir wieder kommen . Aber nie wieder zum Essen .

Ein bisschen laut in einer größeren Gruppe. Man muss drauf achten, dass die Getränkeanzahl mit den Strichen auf dem Bierdeckel übereinstimmt.

Essen war gut, aber nichts weltbewegendes. Sehr große Portionen, aber auch teuer. Mir wäre weniger auf dem Teller lieber, damit nicht soviel im Müll landet und dafür etwas günstiger anbieten. Servicepersonal nett, wurde aber selten gesehen und dementsprechend ließ die Getränkeversorgung zu wünschen übrig.

Ich war mit meine Familie dort zum Abendessen und wir waren alle begeistert von leckerem Essen, geschmackvoll serviert von einem sehr freundlichen Personal. Die Ambiente ist einfach einmalig mit gemütlichen Biergarten wo überall alte Exponate zum anschauen ausgestellt sind.....Die Preise sind akzeptabel für das teuere Düsseldorf. Vielen Dank!!!!
