One of the best Indian restaurants in Munich. It is the best place to try all Indian food, they gave us the best feeling and test of India, and the end they served us the complimentary shots that was mind blowing. Totally recommended.♥️🇮🇳

Certainly one of the best Indians in the south of Munich - but please don't spread the word ;-) Great, authentic food in a very classy atmosphere with good service. The owners really did a great job with this store! Unfortunately it's sometimes difficult to get a seat, but that speaks for the restaurant.

Food great, atmosphere rather cramped and loud. But it's great that we have such an Indian in the area.

Very tasty food and very friendly service.

Great ambience, excellent service and the food was excellent. We had two chicken dishes - here the chicken was first grilled in the tandoor oven and then added to the curry to develop the full flavor. The starters and drinks were delicious and beautifully presented. Cleanliness 10/10, something you don't always experience at Indian restaurants. Definitely recommended!!!

As an Indian, I had high hopes for Taste of India in Munich, but unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. The authenticity of the food is lacking. The spices and flavors, which are the heart of Indian cuisine, seemed diluted and unbalanced. Dishes that should be rich and aromatic were bland and far from what you’d expect from genuine Indian cooking.

Not one of the best... the BEST Indian in and around Munich. I've seen many but none are like this one.

Had butter chicken & garlic bread with mango lassi.. came with rice. Everything was so delicious!!! And the quality of the dishes and the service are impressive! We'd love to come back!

At the premiere, we tried the inexpensive lunch menu with lentil soup and butter chicken with lassi: very tasty. Pleasant service in a well-kept atmosphere, highly recommended.

The food is always high quality and extremely authentic. Super nice service and everything was clean Courteous but at the same time distant in order to have his own privacy while eating. For me the best Indian there is in Munich and the surrounding area.

It was so incredibly good! Personally, I'm not a person who can tolerate spicy. Nevertheless, I love Indian cuisine. In this restaurant I was able to try really good Indian food for the first time. The dishes were so perfectly seasoned, I had never even dreamed of such flavor combinations. Always happy! PS: The service is also super cool and friendly :))

We came for early lunch on Saturday. Atmosphere and service were good but the food wasn't convincing. Starter: Paneer Pankora not fresh but probably fried a second time. Main courses: Eggplant in sauce with too much cream. The vegetable Jalfrezi gave the impression of Leipziger Allerlei with Indian sauce. The rice with cloves and cumin was also too simple, the naan was too dry. Only the mango lassi was convincing. For atmosphere and service, Taste of India deserves a second chance. We'll come back in the evening.

I've been there several times and have always been completely satisfied. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and also has a nice terrace facing the street. The service was very accommodating and always friendly, consistent with the quality of the ambience and the food. At lunchtime and in the evening I found the food really good, you can see and taste the ambition to serve quality to the guest. I particularly like the tandoori dishes, they are pretty authentic and the sauce with them is simply delicious. A clear recommendation for me!

All in all I had a positive impression. The service was friendly and the dishes we ordered tasted good. The price-performance ratio was okay. I'll be back

This Indian restaurant in Munich is a hidden gem that you must try every time you pass through Munich. I dined here one cold night in December having spent quite a few hours at the Munich Christmas markets. I was with friends and we picked this restaurant off google map because it seemed like the closest decent restaurant. I’m so glad we found it. The atmosphere is great, the tables are generously sized and the chairs are super comfortable. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and the young lady who served us spoke perfect English which was great as none of us spoke German! They also had English menus available. The food was generous in portion, and all curries were accompanied by a free rice portion. The paneer dish and the chana masala were very tasty. For me the star of the show was the lamb korma - the lamb would just melt away. My friends tried the butter chicken and the lamb rogan josh and they were both satisfied. We loved the ambience, the service and the food. Good luck!

Ich war schon öfter im Restaurant und wir holen dort auch regelmäßig Essen zum Mitnehmen ab. Das Restaurant ist sehr edel eingerichtet. Das Personal ist stets freundlich und zuvorkommend und die Gerichte sind super lecker bei fairen Portionen und einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Ich freue mich jedes Mal dort hinzugehen :).

Sehr gutes Essen. Das Restaurant war komplett voll und es kamen noch permanent Takeaway Bestellungen hinzu. Deshalb mussten wir wohl etwas länger auf das Hauptgericht warten, aber das Warten hat sich gelohnt. Top Empfehlung.

Wir haben zu zweit je ein Tandoori Gericht gegessen. Die Hähnchenstücke sind butterzart, saftig und großartig gewürzt. Das Personal ist absolut freundlich, schnell und kompetent. Bis zum nächsten Besuch!

Wir sind eher zufällig, auf dieses Restaurant gestoßen und kommen seitdem immer gerne wieder. Das Ambiente ist geschmackvoll und ohne Kitsch. Alles ist sauber, gepflegt und stimmig. Der Service ist überaus freundlich, aufmerksam, zuvorkommend und schnell. Leere Getränkegläser werden umgehend erspäht und durch volle ersetzt, man geht auf Sonderwünsche aufgrund von Ernährungseinschränkungen gerne ein, berät kompetent bezüglich Speisen und Weinen (die Weinkarte ist übrigens hervorragend) und ist sehr kinderfreundlich. Das Essen ist aromatisch, duftet und schmeckt hervorragend und kommt dampfende heiß an den Tisch. Die Portionen sind sehr angemessen, ebenso wie der Preis. Auch für den "Take Away" ist Taste of India toll. Man muss nicht lange auf seine Bestellung warten, auch wenn das Restaurant gut besucht ist und auch hier sind die Portionen sehr angemessen. Definitiv eine Empfehlung!

Es gibt für mich keinen besseren Inder! Jeder Kellner hat ein Lächeln auf den Lippen. Es ist ein kulinarischer Genuss. Wenn wir mal in München sind, ist es ein absoluter Pflichtbesuch.

During our Munich vacation trip, we decided to give this place a try. On the first day, I refrained from eating anything, but the aroma of their food tempted me so much that I returned on the second day specifically to savor their delectable dishes. I couldn't resist! Our group consisted of seven people, and the food we ordered was not only incredibly tasty and delicious but also customized to accommodate my allergies. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, despite the restaurant being packed with patrons. Additionally, there was ample street parking available nearby, making it a convenient dining experience.

This is a very classy restaurant, the decoration is amazing and the staff treats you in a vwry distinguished manner. Everything is fancy and the food was great (not the strong Indian spices, but the moderated ones)

This was the most elegant Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to. A minimalist interior with wooden deck terrace and beige umbrellas. The staff was very PRO, friendly and awesome! The food we ordered was nice and creamy and our taste buds were satisfied.
